Beer Merchants Tap

What an amazing selection of beers from many different countries. Considering its position in London, I thought their prices were quite good. There is a large seating area both indoors and outside.

If you are a beer tourist and in London the Beer Merchant is on the list for must visits. Great selection of Uk craft beers on draft and in cans and bottles. Also features the best of beers from around the world. Cannot make it to Belgium? You will not find a better collection of the best beers from Brussels and beyond. The walls are lined with coolers of beers you can drink in or take away. The staff are both friendly and know their stuff! Plenty of space inside and out and with a three minute walk you can visit several other good breweries. Put this one on your list!

Absolutely top notch bottle and keg masterpiece with a very decent Verdant cask thrown in. Had a Hudson Valley sour and an Omnipollo Imperial Stout, both very special.

Really nice place for a draft beer. For the one who doesn't like local craft beer there's a lot of bottles to choose from, even Belgian Trappist beers. Will definitely come back!

Craft beers on point here. Tight food truck out the back with smash burgers to die for. Great spot before a spot of West Ham. Craft beers are varied (German, Belgian etc) with a nice hipster vibe to boot.

Where to start with the Beer Merchants Tap, or as it is more affectionately known , the BMT. This spacious and industrial styled establishment gives a cheerful nod to Europe with its Beer Keller tables and assortment of Belgium beers. This is a popular place amongst newly appointed Directors, who come here to celebrate their good works with the smoothest of stouts. Convivial conversation and an orchestra of taste can be expected in this special space. I would definitely come again.

Love it here and it's now been the second time I have been here with friends. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I love the dog friendly chilled atmosphere here. There is a large selection of beers to choose from whether it be a beer on tap or there is a large selection of beers in cans or bottles. The cheese board here is amazing, there is also other food like pork pies that are great too. In the evening there is a burger van outside that does great food too. Definitely recommend a visit here

Love BMT. That's both a command and a sentence written without the "I". This place is kinda my local. There's a bar with a rotating selection of taps, and cases with can upon can and bottle upon bottle of beer. There are also beer snacks, and a food cart outside. I've been countless times and always come away with a special bottle or glass of something tasty. It's a pretty epic beer selection. Sours, stouts, lambics, IPAs, DIPAs, wheat beers, fruit beers, porters, milds, you name it. From all around Europe and the US. Prices range from totally affordable to paycheck burning. But if you buy one of the £45 bottles of bourbon barrel aged imperial stout brewed with peanuts and Canadian maple syrup and oats and coffee and cacao nibs all sealed in wax, you can be sure it'll be worth it. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Ask for tasters before deciding at the bar. If you work locally, you're eligible for a small discount upon paying. Ambience is usually chill across the inner and outside tables. Sometimes it gets totally slammed and loud and there's nowhere to sit so be ware. Not a beer drinker? No problem. The place also offers wine, boozy smoothies, and liquor. And of course, jugs of help-yourself water situated atop empty barrels in the main space. Stay hydrated, folks! But most importantly, stay sudsy!

I love Beer Merchant's Tap. I knew the moment I saw the Delirium elephant that I was going to like the place. Finally a place to try tons of beers and lots of Belgian beers. I've had a wide variety of beers and they regularly rotate what's on tap, but they update the website just about daily so you'll always have a good idea before going. Regardless, with I think like 16-20 taps, you're guaranteed to find something that's unique and to your taste. As mentioned, I love Belgian beers and they'll always have a few on tap; more impressive though is that they have 2-3 fridges dedicated to high quality Belgian beers which can be taken away or drunk there for reasonable prices. They've got a ton of space indoors and also have a very sizable beer garden in the front - more patio than beer garden though as there's no actual garden, just a pizza oven and lots of tables. Perfection!

Judging by the generous number of toilet cubicles this place is all set for the biergarten crowds. Indeed the benches and tables seem to come straight from Oktoberfest but the selection of beers is far more classy. Bottles are displayed in chiller cabinets, just like wine is in posh wine bars. I had started the evening on wine and felt like a cheat for ordering a sauvignon blanc. Served in a tumbler and very more-ish. Each beer also has its own type of glass, no generic pints here.

Great beer selection on draft and incredible beer selection in bottles for drinking there and take-away. Excellent food trucks the times I've been there. Most space I've seen in a pub with a beer selection anywhere near this size. The beer range goes from drinkable to interesting. I will be back.
