Super chill urban eatery. This was my first trip to Milwaukee and needed a break from cheese and beer (not that there’s anything wrong with them!!). Great menu, vegan and omnivore friendly. Liked the place so much I’m here for the second time after exploring the Oak Leaf bike trail…the Cayenne Avocado Chocolate smoothie really hit the spot!! 😁

The food is over the top delicious! Every bite is pure pleasure. It feels great to eat such high quality food. I drive 30 minutes once per week to indulge. Highly recommend!

Google
This is the kind of restaurant where you would like to get every single item on the menu. All dishes sound absoluteley delicious! We decided to try the Buffalo Mac and Chickpea Chorizo Tacos, which did not disapppoint! We also had the Cinnamon Roll Pancake and Blueberry Lemon Poppyseed Crepe which were super yummy and not at all too cloying! :)

This place is phenomenal. The food is out-of-this-world good and the service is fantastic. I'm the kind of person that will order the same thing off the menu every time because I know it's good and know what to expect. After a few years of doing this at Beerline, and hearing people rave about other entrees, I decided to "risk" it and try other items. I have not been disappointed with each and every "new to me" item. The latest is the Spartichoke crepe. Spinach, garlic, artichoke, in a crepe topped with agave, walnuts and parsley. Walnuts and sweet on a savory garlicky crepe?? I was blown away. I would never have thought this combination would work. High praise for the chef that came up with this!!! You don't have to be vegetarian or vegan to love the food here. In fact, if you ARE veg, bring your non-veg friends with you for a meal out. They will be so happy to experience the great food!! And, a note to the cafe: I loved your Green Sun Zenith crepe. Don't know why it's not on the menu any more. Would love to see it come back.

Really amazing little hidden gem! Amazing food, staff and ambience! Loved all of the greenery! As a Vegan thank you!!! 😊 Stopped in while roadtripping to celebrate 6 months married!

Amazing options for Vegans! Great breakfast food options! The cinnamon roll pancakes are absolutely delicious! Lots of seating options both indoor and outdoor! Very friendly staff! Food comes out quickly even when really busy! Lots of amazing coffee and juice options!

Google
The cashier was very patient and helpful. The mushroom barley burger was very tasty, would definitely recommend. The $4.5 mixed berries on the crepe had many bad raspberries, very against my principal as a chef, if I were a chef. The roasted cauliflower soup tasted like the black pepper family died in there. Overall, I liked the place and their food and I have hope. If they can stop putting obviously bad food on the obviously good crepe, I’d love to come back :)

Google
I really don't know what to say, between the inclusive atmosphere. The gorgeous live plants and the delicious vegetarian food. Like that would be enough to keep me coming back, but to top all of that off the owner or manager was very sweet. So, yeah I'm really in love with this place and believe me and my partner will be back many many times

Yelp
For my first visit at Beerline Cafe, I had a so-so experience. I was hoping to order the Strawberries and Cream Crepe, but when we arrived around 10 a.m. they were already sold out. So, I went with the Lemon Poppy Seed and Blueberry Crepe -- it was just alright. It was so heavily saturated in lemon curd and a blueberry syrup that it was essentially glued to my plate, making it difficult to cut. After a few bites, I decided not to finish it since it was far too sugary for my taste. For a beverage, I went with an Iced Matcha Latte with Oat Milk. It was really quite tasty, but halfway through drinking it I did spot a hair floating in the drink, so I set it aside. My dining companion opted for the Classic Breakfast Crepe with Egg and Vegan Cheese and Avocado. He enjoyed most of it, but the vegan protein that was included wasn't to his taste, so he didn't finish his meal. He did note that the Cold Brew was good. Service was fine, albeit a tad slow considering it wasn't too busy. The patio outside was absolutely lovely, though. After tip, we spent around $40 for our breakfast. Considering how neither of us finished it, I don't think it was worth that price. However, I do plan on returning to Beerline Cafe. It's been recommended to me numerous times, so it could be that I just ordered the wrong item.

Yelp
This is a good spot man. We're visiting in preparation to move and we went two days in a row. The first day I had the buffalo Mac and chickpea chorizo tacos, my partner got the hash brown Benedict. All of it was great. Today I had the Greek salad and it's perfect, add the tofu chicken. That tofu chicken is real good. It's listed as vegetarian with vegan options but a lot of stuff is just vegan as listed on the menu and they make it really easy to find and see what's what. Thank you for existing.
google avatar

Melanie S.

Yelp
Beerline Cafe has recently become our favorite. The chickpea chorizo tacos are spicy and I love that they use corn tortillas. Their mushroom barley burger doesn't taste too mushroomy like the texture is great not too chewy. I also loveee their specials. I had to get their vegan crunchwrap because miss taco bell but the sour cream and cheese is too much. It was a little burnt but the inside still tasted good. On a different time I got the Gyro with mushrooms and the lemon hummus with the mint was so tasty. I also tried their banana split icecream shake. I miss eating those! It was like drinking nostalgia from a shake. The area is also really cute with the leaves hanging.

Yelp
Just had breakfast at Beerline cafe. Had the hashbrown Benedict with eggs. The vegan ham is made in house and really good. The Mexican breakfast came on a crepe with tofu and was spicy and wonderful. The breakfast wrap and cinnamon roll pancakes were also good. Lots of vegan baked goods that looked great. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. Everything is made fresh and made to order. Service was great. Staff was nice.

Yelp
We've come here twice now and it's such a great option for those who have multiple food allergies or intolerances. Especially for brunch, it's hard finding places that egg free, gluten, and/or dairy free (vegan) options. Almost everything on the menu here can be made with those modifications (but they also still offer eggs and dairy if you want!). The food itself is really good and reasonably priced. My all time favorite meal is the cinnamon roll pancakes and the porto-cheesecake is also very good. You can't make reservations and it is counter service but we've never had an issue grabbing a table. They will bring the food out to you. Ambiance is great and there are plants everywhere and parking is easy. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Here in Milwaukee on vacation and found this place on Yelp. Glad we came over here, the food is delicious! Most things can be made vegan which is great. I had the Mexican crepe, vegan style with added avocado and black beans. It was fantastic and filling. The side of rosemary potatoes were crispy and well seasoned. My husband really enjoyed his crepe suzette and yogurt. The cafe is very warm and welcoming. Quite busy yet didn't seem too impossible to get a table.
google avatar

Kev M.

Yelp
Great selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. Been there 3 times and everything we've had has been delicious. The ambiance is a a little poor for the pricing but the food keeps us coming back.
google avatar

Zefira C.

Yelp
I commend Beerline for their chorizo chickpea tacos. These were hot and delicious, well plated and well constructed by a competent employee. The dessert crepe was also very good, although i may recommend that the syrup glaze is *too* sweet for refined tastes. Unfortunately I cannot give a 5 star because the strawberry turmeric lemonade is *undrinkable*. The sweetness renders it illness inducing in any metabolically content human being

Yelp
Beerline Cafe is a hidden gem. I love the ambiance created by the vibes hanging from the ceiling paired with the industrial feel of the space. if you are in the mood for a crepe, a soothie, a snack - they've got you! Beerline is a vegetarian cafe that also serves alcohol. Their beermosa is generous and delicious. the chips & salsa are great - fresh made salsa with a bit of a kick. Crepes are light and flavorful, my fave is the Lemon Poppyseed Blueberry. smoothies are great too - blueberry, oatmeal, maple is a favorite in our family! depending on the day and time the cafe is packed or is a peaceful spot to get away and enjoy some great food and atmosphere.

Yelp
Plenty of street parking, easy to find, clean, beautiful green ceiling, lots of choices, terrific flavor in all dishes, cashier very friendly and helpful. We went on a Monday morning and the food came out within minutes. Suzette crepe was just heavenly, Mexican breakfast was very filling. Will definitely return !!!

Yelp
Excellent lunch spot, in a unique space. I had the fromage a thee cheese grilled panini and the beermosa, both excellent

Yelp
We made the quick drive into Milwaukee from Illinois on a recent trip, and decided to stop by Beerline Cafe based on a YouTube recommendation having been our first time to the city. You place your order in the front and can chose any seating option either inside or outside the cafe. There were plenty of seats available when we arrived The wait on a Sunday around brunch time was pretty long given what we ordered, two classic crepes. The ambiance, greenery and outdoor seating options make it a very welcoming and low key breakfast place. Once we got the Classic Breakfasts Crepes nearly 45 minutes later, we were pretty underwhelmed. The tempeh bacon had no flavors/textures that would be reminiscent of the actual thing. The texture of the crepe was a bit weird (crispy in some areas) and the overall stuffing dry and not very filling. Honestly wanted to rate this place higher, and maybe I'll give them another try next time in town. I will say their Ginger Turmeric Citrus drink had the right amount of kick and tasted very healthy. Drinks were my favorite this time. Price: 4.5/5 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3.5/5

Yelp
Whenever I'm craving besakfast but don't want to cook I know beerline has a beautiful mushroom burger for me! Their specials are also great.

Yelp
Never disappointed. From the lemon crepes to sandwiches and teas, everything I've tried is delicious!
google avatar

Anthony S.

Yelp
Good food. I thought it tasted pretty good. Got a savory crepe that tasted good but honestly would have preferred it as a dish with the ingredients separated, the crepe part didn't really do much for me. The pancakes were incredible. Got some cookies to go, they were pretty dry and crumbled immediately but that's fine still good taste.

Yelp
My boyfriend has a very unfortunate allergy for someone like me who LOVES brunch and custard - eggs! I took him to Beerline Cafe for his birthday and he was so excited he could try a crepe. He got the Mexican Breakfast with the tofu scramble and I got the classic breakfast, also with tofu scramble so he could try both. Your options are the tofu scramble or scrambled eggs with these crepes. I've never had tofu before, but I was surprised with how similar the texture, color, and taste was to scrambled eggs. The crepe threw me off a little bit in texture but if you've never been able to have one before, I imagine it's just fine. (I NEED to get the Crepe Ape with Nutella and peanut butter sometime soon - it looks amazing). My boyfriend really enjoyed his meal, so it's a good option if you're looking for a vegan menu or know someone who is. He had plain coffee and I got the Carrot-Orange Blend juice. So yummy! I've been told the cinnamon roll pancakes are delicious from someone who doesn't eat vegan, so we will be trying those the next time we go since they ARE vegan. We sat outside on their nice little patio, but the inside is charming as well. Give Beerline Cafe a try whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or an egg & meat lover like myself!

Yelp
The best place for a solid vegan breakfast in Milwaukee. Almost everything on the menu can be made vegan. The environment is inviting and the staff are all very nice. The Mexican Breakfast is a must try! Classic Breakfast, Hash Brown Benedict and Breakfast Wrap are all favs as well. Some great lunch options also.
google avatar

Greer J.

Yelp
Vegan/ vegetarian spot for good food with a patio for the dog. The crepes are crispy, but I am fine with that. Reasonable portions and prices. It took forty minutes to order and receive our food during bunch time on a Sunday. But good people watching/ chatting with the crowd on the patio. I will say that the breakfast crepe is one of those dishes that cannot decide what it is. A crepe, not really, because it is crispy. The very hard scrambled eggs signal breakfast. The tufu "bacon" did not win me over to tofu, but it was decent. Overall, will return and try something else.

Yelp
I'm a carnivore going vegetarian for the next bit and can vouch this place is DELICIOUS. I opted for the Mushroom Barley Burger. Super delicious flavor and incredibly filling. I also had the Chips & Jalapeño Cheese - super yummy. Liked the ambiance of the place with a nice outdoor patio to soak up the sun.

Mary C.

Yelp
Went out for Sunday brunch with my niece before a show and was told there would be a 35-40 minute wait for food, which was fine. What wasn't fine, was seeing people that came in after us get served, eat and leave before we got our meal. What is worse is when we asked (knowing our order fell through the cracks) the server said "you're good" and walked away without providing any attempt to remedy the situation or apology. I used to love Beerline for its veggie options but this put me off from going again.

Allen M.

Yelp
Was in milwaukee for a trip and say this place on YouTube. Great menu, delicious food and drinks. The indoor and outdoor dining areas are cozy and welcoming. Worth the visit! I would highly recommend

Yelp
I haven't met a menu item at Beerline that I don't like, and now I can add caprese panini to the list! My friend and I need to grab a quick lunch in the middle of a busy workday, and order online is super easy and speedy. They are still only offering to-go/curbside pick up, which worked well for us. Our sammie's and jalapeño cheese dip & chips were ready within 15 minutes. This is one flavor-pack panini with melty frezz moz (and lots of it), basil almond pesto, spinach and my fave: a tasty balsamic reduction. It has a sharp, vinegary flavor with a tart, underlying sweetness. All of this deliciousness is sandwiched between toasted focaccia bread. You're craving one now, aren't you?? The chips themselves aren't anything to write home about but they do a great job with their vegan cheese sauce! Certainly don't need to be someone that's "dairy-free" in order to enjoy its creamy goodness. I definitely miss dining in the bright and spacious setting of this cafe, so I'll be looking forward to their reopening when they see fit!

Gillion P.

Yelp
The food was delicious and I'm not even vegan! Called ahead to reserve a table for our party of four. Quick and attentive service. Will def come back again.

Yelp
Lived in Milwaukee for 4 years when I would frequent Beerline. Took my mom here when she was visiting, gone here with friends when I was visiting, just so good. Always super nice people inside and great ambiance too. I'll be back whenever I visit next!
google avatar

Yelp
Such a great find! It's currently cafe style, where you wait in line to order and then sit down to eat. They bring it to you outside (currently only the patio is open). It was very clean inside and the staff are friendly! Food was delicious! -Vegan mac n cheese - pretty good. You can tell it's Vegan, but the spices were good and had nice fresh onions. -cinnamon roll pancakes - delicious! Had an eggy flavor despite being Vegan. Super sweet like a cinnamon roll, they hit the spot. -spartachoke crepe - delicious. Amazing. 10/10. Flavorful and savory. -mango tumeric smoothie - very spicy. But fresh. -vanilla latte - pretty good, it didn't have much vanilla to it but the espresso was strong and kept me up! We will definitely dine here again. Hope they open up inside soon for more seating. You also bus your own table at the end of your meal.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered the gyro and really enjoyed it! I didn't know what to expect of the dish, but I really liked it all. The dill hummus brought the whole gyro together, the tzatziki sauce was mildly tart, and the crunch from the spinach and tomatoes were great! If I'm in Milwaukee again, I would definitely stop here again and order this. I'd also try some other things on the menu too :) The service and atmosphere here was great! Everyone was very friendly, they only had outdoor seating which made me feel comfortable, and they put out all the silverware, napkins, and sauces by the door for easy access.
google avatar

Lipika J.

Yelp
So. Many. Vegetarian. Options. A must-try for all vegetarians and vegans out there! This little joint was a hit for the whole family on our way back from Wisconsin. We tried a couple of their juices (each one delicious), but I don't remember the names unfortunately. The nachos were my favorite - they were fully loaded, offering a different and unique blend of flavors compared to the typical nachos platter. Each sandwich was delicious, and the coffee + muffin were divine. All in all, this will be a joint I'd return to if I'm in the area and I'm looking forward to trying more of their vegetarian options in the future!
google avatar

Emily F.

Yelp
Beerline Cafe is amazing, easily 10/10! I am not a vegetarian but brought a friend that is here during her visit to town. You order at the counter and can seat yourself -- decent amount of seating inside with even more at the outside patio when warm out. The ambiance is lovely, very cozy with lots of colorful decor, plants, and even some games/cards (tucked away in the corner by the water jug) that you can play while there! The Mexican Breakfast Crepe was delicious but the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes were a pleasant surprise -- could eat these all day. They had great flavor without being too heavy/sweet at all. Can't wait to come back and try more from their menu!
google avatar

Juliana J.

Yelp
Many many many vegan options on the menu and in the bakery case. I got the spinach/artichoke savory crepe which was yummy and the breakfast tacos. We came back another day for second breakfast but this first breakfast was the standout. The nachos are tasty as well, and the vegan pesto Mac is decent! I enjoyed the strawberry rhubarb dumpling I bought from the case. We came during prime brunch hours and found parking and never had to wait for a seat which is great. It's a super cute place and the service is very good.

Yelp
Beerline has been on my "to try" list since i moved back to the area, but the pandemic forced me to wait. Finally, BF and i visited for a Sunday breakfast recently. Parking is sparse in the area, so plan accordingly. The atmosphere here is surprisingly cool and comfortable, given it's semi-subterranean location. Greenery surrounds you. Tables are communal and the chairs are fine, but don't encourage lingering. You order at the counter and then food is brought to your table. The menu is quite broad with both vegan and vegetarian and ovotarian options. I had the house coffee, which is huge and a cromelette. It was very good and very big. I ordered a side of tasty rosemary potatoes, but I sure didn't need them. BF had one of the crepes and quite liked it. There are brunch cocktails on offer. Overall this is a great option for vegetarians and I'm anxious to try more of the menu. This is no rabbit food. Fair warning though - 2 coffess, 2 entrees and 2 orders of potatoes were about $32, so it's not cheap greens here.
google avatar

Kaitlin C.

Yelp
What a great spot! Looks like no dine in right now but they have a spacious patio with umbrellas. I'm going to be talking about this chickpea chorizo for months!! It was absolutely delicious. Also got a side of chips & salsa which was crazy hot so beware if you are sensitive to spicy foods
google avatar

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place since it has so many great reviews, but it just fell short. Based off all of the positive reviews, I got the hash brown Benedict. I couldn't handle the artificial flavoring of the tofu "ham." Then, that flavoring was on the hash browns which kind of ruined those for me as well. However, had that flavoring not been on the hash browns- I probably would have really liked them, they were cut really thin and well crisped. I also got the strawberry turmeric lemonade, which didn't have much flavor outside of tumeric. I was hoping for a more evenly split mix of the three flavors. My friend got a wrap that had potatoes, avocado, and egg. She felt that it was good but lacked much flavor and she wished she would have gotten veggies in it to add more. We also purchased the garlic avocado hummus. This was pretty good. However, this too could have used a little more flavor/garlic, it was fairly bland. I loved the live wall, and it was definitely a nice environment. Towards the end of our meal, a couple ended up having to sit at our table with us because it was so crowded. In some ways, this community feel is really nice, however- sometimes you don't really want someone else sharing a table with you when you're trying to have a private conversation with someone else. All in all, my food contradicted each other. One had way too much flavor, and the other not enough. I would definitely go back to try a crepe because those did look really good, but I wasn't really a huge fan of anything we ordered.
google avatar

Steve G.

Yelp
So happy that a look at Small Shops United places we haven't been yielded this one. What a great experience. It was quite busy around lunchtime on a Saturday, but not excessively so. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. Service was really pleasant. The wait time wasn't bad at all despite the crowd. The food is outstanding. I loved the Mexican breakfast crepe. My wife got the Spartichoke, which may have been even better than my choice. Lots of nice options from crepes to egg dishes to sandwiches and paninis. We are most definitely going back.
google avatar

Kaii K.

Yelp
I was very satisfied with the nacho player as well as the rosemary potatoes. The Apple treat was so good you would never know it was vegan. The crepe was fresh but interesting-- the lemon was so tart it almost tasted like Clorox lemon spray.
google avatar

Stephanie H.

Yelp
Great vegan food that even omnivores enjoy. I heard a lot about this place on happy cow. I finally went for lunch. My fiancé got the crepes and was not disappointed. My son got the nachos and it was tough to tell that it wasn't real cheese. I got a he chefs special of fire cracker broccoli and it as amazing.

Yelp
|Hash Brown Benedict| We stopped by @beerlinecafe on our first morning in Milwaukee without any expectations because, ya know, we're in Wisconsin after all. Goodness, we were in for a treat! The Beerline Café is a self described inexpensive to moderately priced low-environmental-impact vegetarian "fresh-casual" café. We tried their breakfast tacos and this unbelievable benedict. Roasted asparagus was topped with baked tofu "ham" over crispy hash browns & a side of tofu scramble drizzled w/vegan hollandaise. Bonus: she's gluten free! It was absolutely delicious! This place is a gem. Like all of MKE you might have to drive around to find parking, but I promise, it's worth it!

Hazel R.

Yelp
The service was very friendly and I liked the ambience. There are beautiful live trailing plants from ceiling, cool artwork, and music subtle jazz. The food was wide ranging- all kinds of sandwiches, breakfast foods, and vegetable drinks. Really liked my hash brown Benedict- full of flavor- though it was very salty- so I would say that there is a salt shaker at the table if people want really salty food/ it would be nice to not put so much on in the kitchen. Carrot bacon and tempeh tasty on the BLT. A good experience and a great treat to find a vegan friendly place.
google avatar

Sarah T.

Yelp
As an out of state vegan, I am so incredibly jealous of all the MKE locals that I hope never take this place for granted. What a gem. I've never had such bountiful vegan breakfast options. My boyfriend and I have literally been getting 3 entrees a day from here and have not been disappointed once. I hope we get through the whole menu before we leave. Juices and smoothies are also incredible. And the coffee is incredible too. So good in fact that I asked to buy some beans. They didn't have any on hand to sell but they told me it was stone creek and directed me on where to get some. I'll be taking a few pounds home with me. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Vegan or not!

Hannah M.

Yelp
The best breakfast spot in Milwaukee! Super affordable and super healthy. They use a lot of organic food. The atmosphere is great and the service is quick and fun.
google avatar

Lico J.

Yelp
First of all I am not a vegan nor a vegetarian, but I definitely love the vibe and the food here. The savory Green Sun's Zenith is absolutely delicious: the crepe is warm, soft but keeps the chewy texture; the sautéed vegetables are fresh and perfectly flavored by the garlic and the tzatziki spread; the kale chip crumbles and the pistachios add the crunchy and nutty taste. And there are lots of avocado on top! Yum! I was already full after finishing my crepe, but I still wanted to try their seasoned scrambled tofu and it didn't disappoint me. It was well prepared and more than just tofu - it has sautéed red peppers, mushroom and onions! I have tried tofu in a few famous vegetarian-friendly restaurants and cafes in Milwaukee before. This is no doubt the most delicious! The photo has not been photoshopped. The food presentation is just that nice!

Yelp
I love, love, LOVE Beerline Cafe. It's a super casual, order-at-the-counter set-up. They serve up the sort of vegetarian food that will leave meat lovers missing nothing. Billed as fast-casual, they're slinging some of the best fast-casual I've had the pleasure of eating. Came most recently for a quick dinner. They offer a few bottled, local brews. I was happy to see they had Lakefront Brewery's Fuel Cafe coffee stout (always a solid choice). For an appetizer, we ordered their garlic avocado hummus. It comes served with a hearty pile of tortilla chips and is a delicious spin on traditional hummus. Hummus is one of my favorite things and avocados happen to also be one of my favorite things as well. It was a match made in heaven for me. For my dinner, I got their Fromage sandwich, which is a delicious blend of smoky gouda, cheddar, house blended cheese sauce, and sliced tomatoes all served on grilled garlic bread. My cheese loving friends! Delectable! I noticed later that you can have avocado added, which I'm convinced would only serve to increase the loveliness and am determined to do so next time. The service was fast and above all friendly. The dining room is neat as a pin (as my grandmama would say) and adorable. The entire place reminded me of spots I've dined at in Portland, which I only mention to kind of hint toward the vibe. Amazing! Get to it!

Yelp
We visited in August, and we liked it so much, we came back again this winter. It was just as good. They don't normally take reservations, but we called (at the height of brunch hour) and they saved a table for our group of 6 - since we were in the car with littles. There was a line but service was quick and friendly. The place was sparkling clean, and again, smelled amazing. Parking was easy, and a produce truck was delivering tons of fruit and veggies while we were there. Crepes were great- homemade Nutella was a hit with the kids. BLT was tasty. Carrot bacon was cold - not what I expected, but very smoky and good. Loaded nachos were very good. The choirizo is flavorful, and the cheese sauce is light and not too oily. All of the portions were generous - we had lots of leftovers. Restrooms were clean, but the water was ICE cold for washing hands. ---- original review----- Lived up to the hyper! We took a leisurely stroll up the river walk from downtown, and arrived around 9:30. Great signage and curb appeal. Both the inside and outside areas are clean, bright, and well kept, there were lots of green plants and flowers! Inside, it smelled amazing! The menu was varied, and had both sweet and savor options that felt safe and adventurous. We opted for: Vegan Mexican breakfast crepe - + avocado - HUGE, beautiful, tasty. Well seasoned tofu eggs, not too watery. Crepe was a little chewy vs non vegan version, and the center got a little juicy from the Pico del gallo (fresh and so delish) - neither stopped my 13 year old son and 4 year old daughter from devouring almost the entire thing. Leftovers were excellent later. Cinnamon roll pancakes - HUGE again. Definitely big enough to share. Dryer vanilla icing and cinnamon were gooey, not overpowering on the sweet level, and very tasty, smelled like Cinnabon, but without the weighted down icky feeling afterward. Choose your own crepe - Nutella x 2 and Earth Balance + cinnamon - enormous crepes: there were no survivors. Green Ienny smoothie - kale goodness. Strawberry banana smoothie Iced Oat milk latte -smooth and strong.

Yelp
We visited Beerline a number of times pre-pandemic and always enjoyed it. We finally ordered from them recently again and I was delighted that the food was just as good as I remembered and even traveled well. Their menu is almost overwhelming with delicious and unique options. There's a lot of flexibility with orders if you want to make a vegetarian item vegan or fit another dietary restriction. This last order, I had the barley burger and a side of split pea soup. Though I thought I would add on the soup just because I was that hungry and it was a cold day, it ended up being incredibly flavorful and almost stole the show. But the burger held it's one and it was an overall delightful meal. I even had to steal some of my husband's nachos because it was impossible not to. If you haven't been or just haven't been lately, make sure to stop by for some delicious veg options! From what I've seen, even meat lovers can be swayed by how delicious the food is.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food! Seriously always grateful for new vegan/vegetarian places. We had it for lunch two days in a row while visiting Milwaukee because it was just that good.

Yelp
Beerline Cafe is so cute, healthy, reasonably priced, and has such a large menu...I've never been disappointed, I don't know why I don't go more often! Today for lunch, my friend and I had to actually sit down (outside on their adorable patio) with the menu for 10 minutes to decide what we wanted, because everything looks so good! (I used to order the kimchi crepe and eggplant crepe lasagna all the time but those are sadly no longer on the menu.) I've had the Ethiopian Lentil Wrap before which is so flavorful and filling, but I opted for something new this time: Korean BBQ Jackfruit Tacos. They were beautifully presented, super saucy & savory, the pineapple and ginger-lime guacamole really put it over the top for me. Very good! I didn't eat them quick enough so the corn tortilla got a little soggy and ripped, but it was still good to every last bite. Perfect amount of food for lunch. My friend ordered the Chikc'n Salad Lettuce Boats (we traded 1 of each) and it's is exactly what you want if you're in the mood for "chicken salad." I typically go for things with a little more kick in them, but it was refreshing and delightful. We both also got the Strawberry Turmeric Lemonade. It was good but I was hoping for a little more strawberry flavor, it was very strong & tart. Will be back for brunch especially since they have so many breakfast options, mimosas, and coffee drinks!

Yelp
This was my first time here, and I was impressed with the menu, friendly staff and the food turned out to be really good. If you're vegan or vegetarian this is a must try place. If you are not vegan but are open to new flavorful dishes, you'll love it, too.

Yelp
We used to really like beerline cafe, but since Covid they've changed a bit. Basically what I used to love here I can't eat anymore because it's now premade with nuts that I'm allergic to. Sad times. I can't eat a lot of their menu for this reason. If you are vegan and don't have a nut allergy this place is great! Sometimes service is a little iffy, things not being brought out or rung up correctly, but they try their best, and apologize for it. I wish I could eat the spartichoke crepe. Please bring back the old recipe!

Yelp
Terrible phone service. They hung up on me and then I don't know what happened, I call back and the automatically the after hours voice mail plays. I call back several times. Finally after like 10 calls they answer and now my question how long from order to have it ready to pickup. Original estimate on the first call was 10 to 15. Now I'm told 25 to 30. I order get to the place 3 es later, there are a few people in front me then I la pay but because of my uniform I put my order to front (which they never even started after phone call). I was told this place was amazing food and the reviews have that. But I didn't think it was that good but maybe that's because it was takeout.
