This place really knows their stuff!! Their gourmet chocolate candy bars are delicious!! You can sample them all, too. They melt in your mouth and taste way better than generic candy. Highly recommend!!

Bees and Beans 🐝 is a luxurious candy shop with a cozy, local charm. I was thrilled to discover that their Mint Bar and Peanut Butter Cup are dairy-free! The flavors are rich, balanced, and not overly sweet—you can really taste the care and quality in every bite. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Walking down the sidewalk this cute place caught my fascination. Stepped inside and the wonderful owner described her creations with appropriate pride. As a business owner myself, I give huge props knowing someone put their heart into making it a success. Well it is a success…cuz I left with 3 creations in my bag to share with my wife Jeannie—sharing chocolate with a loved one 10x’s the experience! We loved the freshness, the combinations and the yummy portions. Beautiful website too! Go here. You’ll love it!

Stopped in on a whim and the workers were very lovely! Lots of options. I got a few things but what stood out especially was the Coffee Caramel!

Found the honey caramels at a local store around Mother’s Day. They are magnificently covered in chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt and are simply delicious. I ordered from the website and they shipped directly to me. So good.

i went on a long, aimless walk. i ended up at Andrea’s chocolate shop. i came in with no expectations and no plan to leave with a big bag of chocolate. i even denied the sample offered saying, “i don’t like the bitterness of dk chocolate, esp higher than 70%”. friends, i was wrong. Andrea has done something very very special here. i didn’t just change my mind about dk chocolate and that it DOES NOT HAVE to be bitter, i found the very best chocolate. this chocolate and the bars she puts together are seriously and with no hesitation the best chocolate i’ve tasted. go here with purpose and taste the bestest chocolate!

Finally stopped in yesterday and loved it! I just polished off a chocolate covered peanut butter patty. Holy cow, if this isn’t the best peanut butter cup I’ve ever had, then I would be lying!! The staff is super friendly and walked us through all of their confections. We will be regulars for sure!

Oh my goodness, Andrea Marks of Bees and Beans makes the BEST chocolate ever... the special thing is, they use HONEY instead of sugar and it brings out a certain sweetness in the chocolate.. we tried everything, the bars, the little squares, everything.. it is soooo delicious and to top it off, Andrea is so nice, she is happy to guide you through every item.. just the best.

So the other week I came in this store and bought a couple items from this store and the lady was very nice.everything seemed good until till we found a hair in our chocolate.so today I came in and asked for refund, she gave me my cash but she seemed upset and she didn't apologize.

The mint bar puts York patties and Junior Mints to shame and is dairy free. AND you can get samples!

Even though she's closed to the public, she let my daughter and I come by and buy her extras since I was visiting from California. She was actually making chocolates when we knocked on the door and both her and her helper were very friendly. This will be my go to place for chocolate due to the great service, I am glad I can order online.

Honey sweetened chocolate bars that are super tasty! We came near the closing time, but she still enthusiastically let us try every single version of chocolate bar they made! So Yum!! Everything was really good, I bought a mix pack of 4. I think my favorite is the malt bar though. Definitely stop by to try, you won't be able to resist getting some!

This place makes a really good candy bar. Not to mention the carmel is melt in your mouth deliciousness. Andrea keep doing the Magic you do that make my wife happy. #happywifehappylife

The lady here was super nice! I was walking from the closest light rail station to Screen door and passed by this place. Thought it was a honey and coffee place at a quick glance... so glad I decided to drop in. I completely forgot her name (sorry!) She was making her chocolates (BY HAND!!!) and stopped what she was doing to tell me about her delightful delicacies. The idea is she makes fancy versions of classic childhood candybars. Snickers, Milky Way, Three Musketeers... and more. She offered me a bunch of samples but I was so excited I kept talking to her and somehow ate all the samples without even remembering what things tasted like... oops. I love helping out small businesses so I wanted to support her. I got four bars and she packed them into a nice cute little box. Two honey bar reserves and two malt crunch bars. I think I paid $20 total it was cash so I don't remember. My friends didn't think it was worth the money but eh. I liked it. I'd eat it again. Come in and check it out if you're in the area! They also sell her stuff at LOCAL Whole Foods.

We were recently married in the Columbia River Gorge and purchased the Honey Bar Jr. for our guest welcome bags. I emailed to request a quote on a larger batch of chocolates and had a reply within a few hours. Upon entering the shop I was greeted promptly with a welcoming hello and a smile. Both of the ladies in the shop that day were busy at work and had the place smelling so good. They had a paper bag with my name on it, full of goodies. I am so happy I chose Bees & Beans for my 'sweet' treat. We had so many guests ask where to find the Honey Bar at because they were incredibly delicious. I referred most to their website since most guests live out of state. Thank you for being so kind and for making delicious treats! We will be stopping by every time we are in Portland.

First off before I get into the scrumptious confections, let's start this journey at the space. It is small but you can feel the love and the artistry in the space and once you meet the owner then everything becomes clear. Such great energy and passion for what she does and it shows in the products. The Pâte de Fruit is my favorite and really is a standout here. Once you try some of the fine chocolate bars you will understand why I rate them so high. Not overly sweet and has a nice velvet feel on the tongue which a fine chocolate should be like. I love this place, I love the products, and I hope if you are ever in the area that you stop by and give them a try.

Basically gourmet versions of your favorite market candy bars. They make everything by hand and in store, and when you walk it the smell of honey just permeates everything. We got the sampler pack and can't wait to try out everything! We tried the reserve and honey bar in store and they were delightful. You can tell they really care about the quality of their products.

This shop has some of the best sweets I have ever had! They use locally sourced ingredients and everything is handcrafted. It's worth every penny. The honey they use in the chocolate is divine! I could go on forever about how delicious their treats are, but you have to try it for yourself! You won't regret it. Your tastebuds will thank you.

My partner and I stopped by after having lunch at Fire on the Mountain. The sweet lady working stopped what she was doing (hand-making these sweet treats) right away to help us. She gave us plenty of samples and was not pressuring us at all. The honey marshmallow is to die for. So good!

Best handmade chocolates in town! Andrea has spoiled me with Reserve Bars, but I can't wait to try the 'Bert Bar. Highly recommend!

This place is a really amazing candy shop. I can not believe that they make all of their candy from scratch and by hand. I stop by every time I am in the area. The candy is amazing. Best candy bar in town.
