Bee's Knees Provisions

Finally! A way to have charcuterie without needing to buy too much stuff AND to get around the whole "tiny new york apartment and can't have people over for charcuterie" issue. I love this place. Great cheese and meat options, great prices, great dishes. The grilled cheese and salads aren't that impressive but that's ok cause I suggest charcuterie, raclette, and grilled shrimp. The staff is super helpful in choosing, too.

The cheese board was filling for two, the presentation was nice, and the cheese was quite good. The salad was fine, but there was a lot going on with the flavors. The butternut squash soup was simple and good, but lacked an oomph. The staff is friendly but absent. Most of the time they were chatting and not paying attention to any of the tables, even before taking our order. On the other hand, they never rushed us.

Really disappointing experience for brunch. Our server was lukewarm to us at best, rude at the worst. She was more interested in being on her phone behind the bar than attending to the customers. The food was fine— the chilaquiles were cold and bland, but the Ham & cheese sandwich was good. The coffee was hot which was a saving grace. There was only 1 other party in the entire restaurant and yet they rushed us out, clearing plates while people were still eating. Overall, cannot recommended to others in good conscience.

Bee’s Kees is a hidden gem — looks like just a cheese/counter shop from the entrance, but has lovely table service area in the back with great prepared food! The lunch salads are large and delicious, and the meatball sub is amazing. Highly recommend.

The food was very good and the atmosphere was really nice! It was a little pricey but the portions and quality were worth it. The staff was friendly, but seemed to be engaged in conversation each other a lot. Normally I wouldn’t mind this, but it lead to our server to forget about us a few times. Overall, a good experience and would recommend for brunch!

Let’s start off from the statements this cocktail lounge presents to us is the absolutely gorgeous interior. It is amazing how much detailing was put into this place and how cozy this place is. Nowadays it’s something very rare we come across going to cocktail bars. Service is another best quality of this place. They are super friendly, respectful and very patient (especially dealing with such a picky annoying person as me) lol. Customer satisfaction is the number one priority of this place and it shows. Food was very delicious as well as presentation of it was very beautiful. Cocktails is a whole another story, u don’t taste the alcohol, but believe me it catches you after few moments lol. Overall with being a picky person and never knowing if I should give a new place a shot or not - this was worth every moment of it. Absolutely loved the interior and felt so cozy being there. Staff made me feel very comfortable (because some places make me feel very uncomfortable) and I was grateful for that. Food is absolutely delicious and cocktails are heavenly. Music was fun to dance to while even seated. You definitely must must try. You won’t regret.

I wish I had a picture of all the delicious food we ordered, but it was so good that the only time I decided to take a picture was after my plate was empty haha! You can tell it was delicious by looking at the picture. We were seated on the second floor and honestly I’ve never seen such a unique look of a restaurant as this one. Super cozy, warm tones and a lot of cute details. I was obsessed with the drinks in this spot , they were delicious and strong that after my second glass I was ready to party. Overall it’s a very beautiful spot, in a very great area, crowd was super friendly, we were literally in every corner of this spot making new friends. Service was top notch. Recommend recommend recommend!!!!

Welcoming deli and restaurant with friendly service and great cocktails. Had a pleasant dinner after walking around Brooklyn for the day. Meatballs and red sauce were perfect. Great playlist too, and relaxing atmosphere.

I've been sleeping on Bee's Knees. Perhaps it's because the "Provisions" in the name made me think they were just a cheese/charcuterie shop. Perhaps it's because I miss Stinky BKLYN, and I didn't want to see what's taken its place. Perhaps it's simply that I'm just not going out as much as I used to. Regardless of my shortcomings, Bee's Knees is...well, the Bee's Knees. The shop itself is adorable and well-curated, but if you step back past, it's a thoughtfully appointed, very tasteful bar and restaurant. Of course there is an excellent winelist to accompany your meat and cheese plates, but there's also a full bar with quality cocktails as well. The tables are comfortable, with board games on offer, and a backyard to boot. The details obviously mattered to whoever built this place out, and that thoughtfulness extends to their food. I recently had a delicious panini for lunch, accompanied by a well-dressed salad and a nice pile of pickles. My bartender/server Sam was quite accommodating, and exactly as helpful as anyone could ask. I'll happily be back.

I came here for my 30th birthday and it was perfect! My pasta was delicious and we all loved the charcuterie board. They made a PERFECT Bee's Knees cocktail which is my favorite drink and the main reason I picked this place for my birthday. It was pretty quiet (we were the only ones there) which was surprising. I'm not sure if they were closing early because it was a Sunday.

Came here for a weekday brunch with a friend. The front has a small cafe that sells novelty items like truffle honey. The back has very cute seating and a bar, loved the furniture and decor. It was pretty empty when we got in and ordered, but the food took surprisingly long. My friend got the avocado toast, which she liked. I got the chilaquiles and they were not good. The chips seem to be baked with the sauce and cheese and were one large blog of absolute mush. I had really high hopes for them given they had pepper, jack cheese and avocado, but they were a huge disappointment. If I were to come back, I would definitely try something different.

I want to be fair and note that this review makes no mention of their food. I liked quite a bit of their menu offerings but only came here for their drinks after a dinner nearby. I would love to return to try some of their dishes but can't speak to it. For the drinks, I stuck to their happy hour / inflation buster rosé (Summer in a Bottle) and I enjoyed it. Great pour and at a good price. I also had a sample of their sparkling orange wine (Heidi Schrock Pet Nat) and loved that! As not a orange wine lover, it was a little too sour for my taste, but still delicious. I also was in love with how chilled my glass was and if I disliked the rosé, I had planned to move forward with the orange wine instead. My friends ordered the Yuzu Ginger Cider by Shacksbury Cider and now I want to buy a case of it for my house lol. Cider never wows me but this one was fantastic. Not too sweet but flavorful. Lastly, I appreciated the service there. The server was helpful and kind. She checked in on us multiple times while still giving us space to just chill there. I also enjoyed seeing people there who were reading books or playing card games with their family. This was a great spot for a couple of drinks with friends and I look forward to visiting again.

Give this place a try great good, great drinks. Great wines, cute ambiance. What else do you need? Unfortunately I forgot to take pics.

This is a really cute cheese shop and a good place to wine down after a long day at work... or truly, a good end to any day! While the front half is a shop, the back half is a bar area which I did not even know existed until my friend showed me. It's a quiet space compared to your average bar so it's nice when you want to catch up with a friend in a calm setting. May be a good date night spot too if you do not want to be surrounded by many people. There's a happy hour that runs until 7pm I believe and the cheeseboards are delightful. If you've got a soft spot in your heart for wine and the like, I would highly recommend Bee's Knees!

Lovely day time brunch with my girlfriends. Great service and so many menu choices. They have board games and a garden! We will be back!

Overall rating: 4.8 Pics don't do the place justice. Really cute spot in Williamsburg that says luxury but isn't a jerk about it. The crowd was interesting for a Friday night. Odd mix of after work folx, plus people that live in the area. It is very dark! & hard to read anything, but drinks were good. Place is $$$, so I'll be back on a date. Highly recommend if you're looking for a night out.

I met my boyfriend at Bee's Knees Provisions on his way home from work on a Thursday night during restaurant week & it was exactly the ambiance we were looking for. We sat at the bar and the service was the perfect balance of tending to our needs, without hovering / being overbearing. We both started with the The Atom, Cabernet Sauvignon, which was a nice full bodied cab. For our appetizer, my boyfriend chose the Smoked Glacier Blue cheese & I chose the Brie Fermier. Both were delicious and we were impressed by the full board we each received. I chose the Tuna Melt Panini & my bf chose the Chicken Panini. We ended up splitting both so we could try each. We both preferred the tuna melt if we had to choose, but also really enjoyed the chicken panini, it was just a bit drier - which I think happens easily with good bread & pesto, & probably could easily be solved with a bit of aioli. I'm not a big dessert person, so I let my bf order for me as well & he chose the chocolate truffles & the salted caramel ice cream. He really enjoyed them both. While I didn't try the truffles, I did taste the ice cream and it was some of the best caramel ice cream I've had. We really enjoyed our evening @ Bee's Knees Provisions & the restaurant week deal can't be missed. We will definitely be returning!

Popped in for a quick bite. There was a long wait for the food after ordering despite there being no customers inside, due to the kitchen having two large to-go orders, so just be aware if you go, you may want to ask about the wait for food. The panini with grilled chicken and pesto was good and the salad it came with was dressed with a nice citrusy vinaigrette. My Dad also enjoyed The Gruyère in the grilled cheese. There were cute balloons all around for their 1 year birthday so happy birthday to them!

Nice little cafe spot located in the lovely neighborhood of Cobble Hill. We drove there but it is quite easy to get there by train (F/G) just around the corner. I wouldn't have known passing by that there was a cool, almost hidden, dining area just past the barista front. It looks like a good place to stop by for a quick snack, as they have an assortment of cheeses and meats available to purchase in the front as well as honey and jam. We got the charcuterie board with two meats and two cheeses. I meant to order three cheeses but I don't think they heard me say the third cheese and we were already halfway through eating it before we noticed. We wanted to be healthy so also got the rainbow beet salad to share... not knowing that it was a huge salad. Tasted pretty good! Really enjoyed the board and the salad. It wasn't too loud inside and the food came pretty quickly. Good vibes, cute dining area, and good service!

One of my favorite new places in the neighborhood! My partner and I have been here a few times, all on Friday nights because it's a nice, cozy spot to end the week with some wine. I continue to be impressed with each visit. First, the wine, including the wines on the happy hour (or "Inflation Buster") menu are delicious. The portions are great: the salads are bigger than you think they'd be, the cheese and charcuterie boards are SERIOUS, and I think think the paninis are decently filling, too (although, I've so far only had a panini after indulging in a cheese board). Their salad game is strong -- even the little salad that comes with the panini is crazy delicious (I really wanna know what's in that dressing!). These are my favorites so far: - Beet salad - Ewephoria cheese - Bamboozle cheese - Ciel du chevre cheese - Classic French ham panini Cute decor. Mostly attentive service -- they have been busier with each visit and seemed overwhelmed last time. My only request is that there be more stinky cheeses. :)

Finally stopped in after living in the neighborhood for years and this place is incredible! Everything was delicious ñ, cute, and clean but the best part was the service. Sam is a gem and made our experience all the better. Will be back :)

Was so excited to try this place! Let's start with the good: the space is super cute, high ceilings, loved the decor. They also have an outdoor garden space. The drink selection was good, especially with their happy hour deals. I had a hard passion fruit coconut water that was super yummy. Also on Tuesday's they have $1 oysters, hard to beat that! Now the not so good: there was only one person running the whole place, meaning he was the host, waiter, bartender and buser. The poor guy was running around and there was just no way he was going to nail it all, so we totally forgave his missteps because everything was stacked against him. Also the food we ordered was just not very good, we left most of it on our plates. Besides the oysters, our food was super bland. The Cobb salad had super crisp veggies, so that's great, but the dressing tasted like absolutely nothing. There wasn't even salt on the table to dress it up and we weren't going to bother the stressed employee. I think we ordered the wrong things and should have stuck with wine and a charcuterie board! Maybe next time knowing what we know now we will have a better experience.

Simply love this place best customer service. I wish I could remember the young man's name, but he has made me a fan of every kind of cheese out there, can't say enough great things about it.

I had a chance to visit this spot while waiting for friends to arrive for a dinner nearby. This spot is conveniently located near the G stop and is situated within a cafe space (in the back). They have bar and table seating and offer a selective menu if wines and bites to enjoy. It's definitely a hidden gem in the area. Very vibey a land great for an in image date spot or a starting spot before going somewhere else in the area. I'd totally recommend. It!

The food was good. I had the breakfast panini with a drink and a latte. The panini was $15 Cold brew was $4.75 Beer was $10 I was just expecting the sandwich to be bigger for $15. It's like the size of an NYC street bagel and probably as filling too. The staff was super friendly and really attentive to everyone and the restaurant is really cute as well.

Incredible spot! Don't be fooled by its storefront appearance, there's an incredible sit down restaurant in the back and a garden. The food is amazing, I love the Tuna Melt and the cheese fondue makes you feel like you're in France. Salads are also super fresh and delicious if you want a healthy option. Don't forget to check out the store at the front on your way out for delicacies you can bring home, there are some incredible cheese options. Ps. Todd who works there is a hoot!

One of my go to take away places in Hell's Kitchen. The staff is very friendly. I've sat down for lunch several times and the restaurant is small, but well appointed.

We really like this place. The food is good and reasonably priced. My kids like it a lot. The only down side they say, is there aren't fries. Also, we got the fondue, but it comes in a ramekin and not a fondue bowl, so it got hard fast and was a bit hard to eat with the bread and not cubes or crudités. If you pass, you may not see the restaurant in the back of the cafe, but it's a lovely space, with friendly staff, a nice clean restroom, coffee and pastry options, lots of great lunch salads too. I've been back three times so far. They only have wine and beer, I do wish they had a full bar.

We were super excited to try this place hoping it would be our new beer and cheese go to. The woman in the front shop was friendly but once we got into the restaurant section it just got weird. We were early for dinner so the only people and there were three waitstaff bartenders. All of the staff members ignored us. We had to ask to to order drinks. Ask to order appetizer. We I told the waiter I couldn't hear him over the music he shouted louder and when I asked if he could turn it down he said no. The bartender seemed to be practicing his DJ set and would play 30 seconds of a song then stop. No one ever asked how it was, no one asked if we wanted to order food. By the time we were half way through our drinks we had decided this was not the vibe for us. The space is great, the food looked looked. The service was nonexistent. To the point where we felt uncomfortable like we were intruding on a private hang out. It's really too bad. We went down the street to Ruthies and had an excellent dinner there instead.

Great new addition to the neighborhood. Have been twice and had dinner and brunch. Fresh and tasty food. The place looks fantastic inside. It is nice to have food to take home. Nice selection of oil, olives, cheese.

Great meats and cheeses, panini's and wines. They also have delicious home made truffles and monkey bread. Yum!!!

I love bees knees. I've had three of the paninis -- Pizzanini, the chicken one and the tuna melt -- all fantastic. Great appetizers and the beer and wine selection is awesome. Also the staff is so warm and welcoming. This place is brand new and it's already my go to neighborhood spot, I love it. Check it out and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Went here on a whim for brunch and had a great experience. Excellent service and delicious food. The cold brew was smooth and the paninis were superb. Definitely coming back

I've only been here once, but it was a very pleasant experience. Both men working were genuinely nice and thankful for their guests being there. The interior is clean and nicely decorated. They also have a nice back yard. Good for quick, fresh food. I didn't give them 5 stars because my sandwich was pretty good, but not great.

Came here with a group of friends to get out of the NY heat. Place is gorgeous inside! Excellent wine and beer selection! Had the oysters, salmon crostini, cheese board and yummy beat salad. Everything tasted great. The servers were knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations. All and all it was fun vibe and we will definitely be back to buy beer and cheese from the store in the front.

I only came in for a mimosa but the vibe was just mad weird. At the bar, there were 3 bartenders, 2 of them talking about movies or plays the other was attentive doing their job. I walked up and said hi, the two movie critics looked at me and went back to conversing the other greeted me. The bartender that was trying to do their job tried to be personable because they could tell I was just uncomfortable. I should have just left before I sat down because the vibe was way off but I wanted to give this place a try. I literally just downed my mimosa and didn't even want another because I just wanted to leave. I've never felt so unwelcomed and the saddest part was that the two were African American like myself and they completely ignored me. There's a reason why it was empty in here because the customer service is absent (except for the other bartender was at least tried so kudos to you). Seeing that there are a number of bars in downtown BK area, I won't be back here and I'm someone who LOVES brunch and I wanted to give it a try for future reference but absolutely not!

While the food and service are generally very good I have celiac and when I asked to substitute gf crackers for the bread on the charcuterie board I was told that I would need to purchase the crackers from them first at an additional cost! Strange and tone deaf response given that they have the gf option in the store on premises! Opted not to pay the additional $6 for the crackers and likely wouldn't return and would advise other people with gluten intolerance or other allergies to avoid as well. If that is the response I have to think they are not careful/aware of cross contamination in the kitchen.

Have been there a couple of times and the food is always delicious, excellent tuna melt and salads. There is a small backyard and a beautiful dining room. Staff is super friendly. A great addition to the neighborhood!

What a great spot. The wine selection is exceptional including a chenin blanc on tap! True for the beer as well. The staff is knowledgeable and will help you pair the cheese, charcuterie and wine expertly! It's warm and inviting and I plan to become a regular!

A hit from the team at Castello Plan, gastropub/retail shop (great curated fine foods)/cheeses) that will serve the neighborhood so well. The menu is lots of great snacks (and obviously cheese). The wine/beer program is en pointe! Cozy seating plus a backyard ready for fall and mulled wine.

LOVE this place, such a great addition to the neighborhood! The front shop has an amazing selection of cheeses, crackers, spreads and high-end sundries as well as a coffee bar and in the back there is a lovely bar and restaurant serving delicious wines and beers and everything from oysters and fondue to salads, paninis and cheese and charcuterie plates. It's the perfect spot for a wine date with friends with small plates to share--and the brunch is phenomenal too.
