Known for acclaimed lobster roll & popular donut brunch
"You may know Beetlecat in Inman Park for their nautical-themed decor and oyster and seafood selections. But real breakfast people know Beetlecat for their super chill weekend Donut Brunch, which features an exciting collection of tasty, over-the-top donuts. If and when the fish artwork and boat deck-like wood flooring put you in the mood for some seafood, try their famed lobster roll. But if you aren’t feeling seaworthy in the am, opt for the spicy chicken sandwich with a sunny side up egg, bookended with glazed donuts." - nina reeder, juli horsford, demarco williams, jacinta howard
"Nautical style meets Atlanta cool at this Inman Park seafood restaurant from the same team behind The Optimist. Beetlecat's better-than-average seafood dishes are straightforward in a way that we appreciate. Swing by for oyster deals and a $10 oyster martini." - juli horsford
"Don’t write off The Optimist’s little sister as the ordinary Anna to a super powered Elsa. Beetlecat is great for a spontaneous oyster splurge because it’s easy to snag a table, the raw bar selection is robust, and the vibe is relaxed. Their prices aren't relaxed, however, (oysters start at $3.85), but it's pretty easy to justify your bill since this Inman Park restaurant is fun: the nautical theme is quirky without being tacky (sometimes Jaws plays on the projector), there’s a donut brunch on weekends, and mezcal shots in shells make for a memorable night. That is, unless you have too many." - juli horsford
"The seafood bar and lounge at Inman Quarter features happy hour food and drink specials, Monday through Friday, from 4 to 6 p.m., including oyster deals." - Eater Staff

"Did someone say doughnut brunch? Ok, we’re in. BeetleCat is known for their fresh oysters and seafood, but on the weekends, they serve the most decadent doughnuts for brunch. There’s the classics like plain or chocolate glazed doughnuts, and then there are savory options like steak, avocado toast, and omelette. And yes, they’re all doughnuts. Dine-in and takeout available." - Henna Bakshi
