Beignets Expressed

This place was busy on a Saturday afternoon. They were yummy treats. I ordered plain beignets with powder sugar. I've never had one before. It was good. I would order again.

The original beignets were so delicious. No line when we arrived about 10am. We ordered the strawberry glazed, glazed and the original. The original came out hot and fresh, so soft when you take your bite. Just a little messy but well worth the mess! Totally recommend getting beignets here then inside Disneyland.

I think you have to catch them when they aren't slammed, but this place had some INCREDIBLE beignets! When we went, the service was quick (we got our treats in under 10 min) and the beignets were piping hot, crispy, and soft on the inside! They were super flavorful and we just got the powdered ones. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place for a yummy treat!

Wanted beignets as dessert after our delicious meal next door at Jazz Kitchen and decided to come here. It was nice seeing the employees making the dough and preparing the beignets. We order a box of 6 plain beignets with the powder sugar. They were warm and very fluffy, so delicious! The place was clean and employees were nice, will be coming back soon.

The beignets here are delicious. The regular powdered sugar ones are definitely the way to go. They are light, crispy, and are what I expect from a beignet. We tried all the specialty flavors and weren’t very impressed. They were good and perhaps worth a try, but the greatest satisfaction came from biting into one of the powdered sugar ones. I would prefer to get donuts over the specialty beignets here, the specialty serve as more of a novelty. I will definitely pick up a bag of the powdered sugar beignets during my next extended trip to Disney. I knocked off one star for atmosphere because it just didn’t seem to have the feel of so many other places in the Disney resort area.

This place serves great beignets!! They are served warm and freshly baked!! The service was very fast just not very friendly and welcoming. They were not rude just very busy I would say. They had a couple of belly tables outside to eat and one table to actually sit down but it was full of sugar. I guess it's unavoidable here😁 Even the ground outside has powdered sugar all over. But overall a must have!!!!

Doughier than they should be. Not light, not fluffy, and zero crispy around the edges. No atmosphere whatever. It could easily have been selling boba.

I like how we're now able to order on the app and just go to pick up. Makes it so much easier, because there's always a huge line. Beignets are fluffy and tasty. You must eat them right away though, because the taste just isn't the same shortly afterwards.

Very happy to be able to get beignets at downtown Disney without having to sit down. Service was fast to order, but they make the beignets fresh so it may be a little wait before getting your food. The inside is small with no tables, but there are a couple of tables outside to stand and eat. Overall, loved the beignets.

This is the place to get a late night dessert. Always a long line. They sell them as fast as they make them. Dusted with powdered sugar. Perfect with milk or coffee. So good. This is a must when u r in Downtown Disney.

This is located in Downtown Disney. If you don't have the ticket for Disneyland and still wanted beignet without it being mickey shape, then, this is the spot to eat. I actually like that is bigger and less hallow in the inside compare to Disneyland. You line up and order at the counter. There are few tables in the front where you can quickly eat your hot beignet. It was soo good. The only complain, would probably be that there is not enough powdered sugar in my beignet bag. Otherwise, it was delicious

Beignets have been consistent here since I was 18 years old lol, back when it was jazz kitchen express and you could also buy po boys and other food items. I swear their traditional sugar dusted fluffy pillows fresh out the fryer have been better than the times I've had them at NOLA's cafe du Monde. It's great that they've separated from that brand and created their own. My only critique is that the beignets you get are inconsistent. I'm definitely a fluffy yeasty chewy pillow kind of gal. It sucks when you get a flatter one that more crispy. Like who gets that one?? lol keep them all the same shapes and sizes of what is what I say. Also I checked the ingredients of their mix, for anyone plant based, it says there's non fat dry milk/whey in there.

RAHHHHH I've been craving beignets for SOOO long and finally made it to Beignets Expressed! These were everything I hoped for and more They look exactly like the ones Tiana makes, which made my Disney-loving heart so happy. Fresh, hot, and fluffy with that perfect coat of powdered sugar (my absolute weakness), I was in heaven with every bite. Definitely worth the stop if you're at Downtown Disney!

If you are not able to get beignets inside of Disneyland, this is your next best option. They don't do Mickey-shaped beignets here, but they do have a variety of flavors. I was lucky and didn't have to wait in a long line when I came here. I have seen some long lines here during peak hours. Beignets Expressed is attached to Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill and Patio in the Downtown Disney District. Even though this place is take-out only, they do have a few outdoor tables to relax at if you want to chill and people watch while enjoying your beignets. You can order a bag of four, six or ten Original New Orleans Beignets that are dusted with powdered sugar. Some of the unique flavors that they offer are Strawberry Shortcake, Bananas Foster or Simply Glazed. If you want to try a variety of their flavors, order a flight of beignets that you can mix and match. Beignets Expressed also offers a seasonal beignet flavor. In addition to beignets, Beignets Expressed has drinks like coffee, Ghirardelli hot chocolate and Frozen Mint Juleps.

We were craving something sweet after bowling and eating at Splitsville across the way. Beignets Expressed was like a beacon of powdered sugar & fried dough calling us. There is usually a line and we waited about 10 minutes before we ordered. We got a 10-pack of original beignets (dusted with powdered sugar) which costs $17.99 We also got the dip, drizzle & sprinkle 4 pack of glazed beignets ($17.99) and picked one of each. They were simply glazed (2), bananas foster and strawberry shortcake. I like my beignets on the simple side with just that dusting of powdered sugar. I had 1 on the spot and it was still piping hot which I liked. The powdered sugar is just perfect on it. I was a little surprised that their beignets are a little heavier than I'm used to. I was expecting a lighter texture. Nevertheless, they were still delicious. I also ordered 1 frozen mint julep ($6.99) and 2 hot chocolate ($6.99 ea.) made with Ghirardelli chocolate. The drinks were good. On a cooler evening, the hot chocolates won out over the mint julep. Beignets Expressed is located within Downtown Disney.

So glad they have this place. Since they don't sell beignets in Disneyland anymore we exited and came here for our sweet treat. We ended getting the 4 pack of beignets. There is a kiosk if you want to order too but we ordered with a person. The store is small - has a standing area to eat near the fountain/soda machines. There are standing areas to eat as well which we did. We got our beignets freshly made. The sugar powder on my first one eating made me cough but it was so delicious. The beignets were so hot we couldn't eat with our hands and had to get a fork to stab it and eat it. I enjoyed it so mush. Must for folks who have a sweet tooth.

A great sweet bite BUT YOU WILL GET TIRED OF THEM. Food: We got the infamous Beignets (6 pack) thinking we would be craving for more. And even with my sweet tooth, i could barely finish one. Don't get too many as they are very sweet/filling! Service: Workers are fast paced (which I'd imagine in a setting like Disneyland) Ambiance: Great interior! Outdoor seating is the best though.

We ordered a combo of beignets, like a beignet flight....$24 Customer service is friendly, inside is clean and well organized There is no indoor seating however there is outdoor seating available Beignets were good, nice and soft and very fresh Definitely a must try when in Disney

These don't compare to any beignets from New Orleans but they were soooo good! The line was out the door to try these beignets, the restaurant is small. While standing in line you can see the workers preparing the dough for the beignets. The mint julep drink, I didn't try, my cousin said it was really good. Overall, a nice treat located in downtown disney, stop by for something as close as new orleans

The only place I know can get my beignet cravings right is at Disneyland!! Their classic beignets are deliciously made fresh! I always find myself satisfied sharing a Original New Orleans Beignets (4 pcs) with someone else. Make sure to twist the bag and shake it up so all the beignets get covered with the powdered sugar! Eat them right away when it's hot for the crisp and softness of the inside. They're not too crazy sweet either so you could finish at least 2! They get pretty messy. Lines are fairly long here so if you're planning on getting by the end of the night, make sure you time it right or else they'll close! Don't be intimidated by the line because it went by pretty fast.

I truly don't understand why this place has any less than 5 stars. Sure, the line can be long and I'd imagine it's not always the friendliest service, but for goodness sakes, it's hot fried dough absolutely COVERED in powdered sugar. Do yourself a favor and get the classic and enjoy just about anywhere you'd like in the beautiful Anaheim Downtown Disney area. But grab some napkins because these babies can be messy. Great beignets, hot, fresh, and oh so tasty. Enjoy!

Who doesn't like a good beignet? If you don't get one at Disneyland, then this is a great alternative. This location is located at Downtown Disney. You can find it by looking for the long line of customers out the door. lol. The beignets are freshly made. Hot, fluffy and delicious. The classic beignets are my favorites but they have other flavors and dipping sauces available. Theres a couple of tables outside for stand ups. Worth the wait in line that goes relatively fast.

My daughter wanted beignets while at Disney so we had to stop by as we enjoyed the beignets here the last time we were here. They have definitely been found as there was a 20 minute wait - about 10 minutes in line to order and then another 10 minutes for the beignets. We order a pack of 6 and received 7 to share amongst the four of us. Score! Why the 3-star review? The beignets were super inconsistent. The first one I had was basically hollow. All "crust" and nothing on the inside. It was fine - deep fry anything and cover with sugar and it probably tastes good - but it was like cutting off the crust of loaf bread and eating just that part. The second one had a nice fluffy center and was much better. So if I had to rate, the first was a "2" and the second was a "4". Based on the inconsistency, a 3-star rating overall.

We decided to visit Downtown Disney after we had an early dinner. The goal was to look for souvenirs and grab dessert. We chose Beignets Expressed for our dessert and we are glad we did. They are located in a nice area in Downtown Disney next to the Jazz Kitchen restaurant. Parking is accessible in the large parking lot surrounding Downtown Disney. Parking validation is available. There was a line to enter the restaurant but it went by fairly quickly. The staff was friendly and quick. I ordered a 6 pack of original beignets with just powered sugar. The beignets were so delicious, fluffy, and tasty. The light crispness of the fried pastry and the powered sugar went very well together. I could have ate 3-5 pieces but I know that would not of been a great idea health wise. Lol Overall I enjoyed our experience at Beignets Expressed. When we are back in town at downtown Disney, we will be back.

The shop is small and there is no where to sit inside - the shop is more of a takeaway shop - go in and order and eat elsewhere. We ordered the strawberry shortcake beignets and the banana foster beignets. Both were amazing! These come with 4 beignets, which was a lot of sweetness - could probably order a single beignet plate and share between 2 people. I am giving this a 4 as the service could use a little help. The man at the register was not very friendly, which I was not expecting with it being in the downtown disney area. Maybe a bad day, but ‍. The girl who called out the orders was friendly.

When in DTD always need a fix of their famous beignets. Thank god there was not a long line like they usually have so ordering was quick. Small walk in and out place. We ordered 10 pieces. Not much explanation but as always it hit the spot and we were happy and satisfied lol.

Previously Jazz Kitchen Man what a gem turned to blah. Have made this a tradition ever time we come to Disneyland. This has been as much a tradition as our trip itself We came here yesterday morning and had a not so pleasant interaction with cashier. I won't get into details but it was just not good service Our order 4 mix and match beignets. We were not allowed to make 1 the powdered sugar ones. They had to be glazed only which was kind of strange. So we decided to just go with the powdered Anyways we may need to find a new tradition. Now as Grandparents we are excited to try new things.

This place in downtown Disney is always busy. There was a line out the door on a rainy Saturday evening. I love that they make the dough in front of you. They also cook it fresh. The line moves smoothly. There isn't indoor seating but outdoor seating only. It can be cramped inside when waiting for your order. We ordered 6 original beignets but got 9! The only problem is when I looked in the bag the beignets were not covered in powdered sugar. I had to give the bag a good shake and it still didn't cover the entire thing. Otherwise, it was good.

This is my favorite beignet spot but I feel like it needs some improvement. Prices have gone up since I last came. The service is painfully S...L....O....W and inefficient. It was like standing in line at the DMV. There were 4 employees when I went: was one guy making the beignets, and two ladies standing around chatting and then putting the beignets in the bags/boxes, with one cashier manning the register and making the drinks. Line was long as usual, I don't understand why they don't have two people rolling out the beignets with one person putting the orders together. It's such a simple fix, but for some reason they are choosing to not be efficient. I don't get it... Do they not want to make more money? Yes the beignets are still good, but the powdered sugar in the bag is not as much as it used to be so my beignets were very sparsely coated with sugar, so it didn't taste as good as usual.

Disneyland beignets without Disneyland prices lol. I enjoy these beignets more than the Mickey beignets. Came here on a Friday night after dinner cause I was craving something sweet. The line was out the door, but it goes by smoothly. Service is very efficient so it goes by quick. As soon as you get in, you see the beignets being made! Love that. The original beignets come in 4, 6, or 10. Of course I got 10 lol smh. So good. Hot and fresh when they hand you the bag. Definitely will be back and will come to downtown disney JUST for this. Cute ambiance and they have bags of beignet mix available to take home. Win!

Usually, the line is long, but it seemed pretty fast! We tried the holiday glazed and got the original beignets. The banana and original were my favorite. Other flavors were not to my likely especially the cinnamon? It tasted like nail polish. Strawberry had a strong artificial strawberry taste, it was okay. The peppermint one was okay as well. Overall, get the original powdered beignets!

I knew this place gets packed and decided to get it since it was on the way to the entrance for Disney. I'm glad we did because when we left in the afternoon, the line was super long. I didn't realize how big the beignets were and just got too excited and ordered 6 for 2 of us. I should've ordered less. But it was totally worth it though, so yummy and perfectly cooked. I should've waited to get the Mickey beignets but it's ok, next time. This pack made us full and satisfied for sure. We just got the plain original ones but they have flavored ones too which is nice. I also ordered a Ghirardelli hot chocolate and that was yummy and very rich for sure!!! Would definitely get these again.

They make them fresh and you can watch them roll and cut the dough! How cool is that? I've never been to a beignet place that lets you watch them make em fresh right in front of you! They come out piping hot too!! Gotta let them cool down! But they were HEAVENLY! 10/10 I also got a frozen hot chocolate and my husband for a coffee. My frozen how chocolate was basically a child's chocolate milk with whip cream and caramel drizzle. My husband loved his coffee. My frozen hot chocolate was just too sweet for me. Service was great! They were quick with the beignets, coffee and frozen hot chocolate. 10/10

Solid spot for beignets if you don't want to go into the park. But don't expect the same Mickey beignet texture. Interior was cutely themed, clean, and the day I went was pretty empty so there was barely a wait. Servers were friendly but nothing above and beyond to note. My husband and I got some of their special flavors in a set of 4 and they were good, but a tad too dense, sweet, and sticky for my liking. I wish there was an option to only buy single beignets because these are huge! Definitely a pro for sharing with a group, though. Will have to return to try out the original powdered flavor!

I finally got to try the famous beignets at Beignets Expresssed in Downtown Disney! I have always wanted to try one ever since I watched The Princess and The Frog, and they tasted just as good as I imagined! Although the line was out the door, the staff were quick to tend to the customers and we got our order within 10-15min. I ate three beignets in one sitting and it made me feel so warm and cozy inside It was a light, puffy pastry with a slight crisp on the outside covered in powdered sugar that made you crave more after the first bite! Good pastries + good company + good live music = perfect night I highly suggest to eat this outside or over a napkin, as it can get really messy eating each yummy beignet!

I ordered a Dip, Drizzle & Sprinkle, which is a mix of 4 different glazed beignets. They only have 4 so I order one of each. The different flavors were Simply Glazed, Bananas Foster, Strawberry Shortcake, and Caramel Apple Crumble. Some of the flavors are seasonal. If you get the pack of four it comes with a sauce. I was really excited about Strawberry Shortcake and I am a big fan of sweets. However the flavored ones all had an overpowering artificial flavoring to them. I only ate the plain one which resembled a glazed donut. They were hot which was good. The order was quick. No seating inside, but there is outside seating. The lower score is because of the service as well. I tried to come before and it was near the time closing time and other people were still in line but they stopped letting people in the line well before it was actually closed.

Make sure you shake the bag with all that powdered sugar! You're welcome. Way better than the beignets inside of Disneyland. Doughy and pillowy. Not to sweet. Great size. Probably the best I've had in California. Made to order so it takes some time to get it. But it's worth it.

These are some of really good and tasty beignets. Me and my boyfriend sometimes go to downtown disney only to get these and head back home thats how good they are. The employees are always nice and helpfull even when they have a line out the door. No really, the line here is always long so just be ready to wait in it. It moves pretty quick, but thats just to order and pay. The real wait is once you place your order there is a wait area for them to be made and prepared. You can get the classic powdered sugar ones or you can get any of their signature ones. They also carry seasonal flavours.

The line is always long for NO Reason!!! Just because you are part of Disneyland, and we're used to standing in line, please do NOT stand around! There are 2 cast members rolling and cutting the pastry, 1 watching the fryer and 2 Managers "talking story" not helping at all!!! A very bad look! How hard is to fill order by placing beignets in a bag and scoop powdered sugar in the bag! The menu is not large so the choices are not many, you should be able to have orders completed and ready!!! Do those managers think "it's beneath them to help out!" Please do better for your GUESTS!

I'll be so honest. I was here this past weekend when it was raining. I was over it and saw the line and thought nope. My husband insisted it will go by quickly and I'm glad I listened to him because it did. I love how the menu is not overcomplicated and the options are simple. I also love that you can watch the beignets being made, I felt like a kid at Krispy Kreme watching the doughnuts. Wait was not long at all and we got our food quickly. We did the 3 quantity of the original with a side dip of chocolate and raspberry. I opened the bag and they were HOTTTT! I decided to wait until getting home to try it. It did get colder by then, but the taste was sooo good! Especially being dipped in chocolate. I think these taste better than the ones in the park and will for sure be stopping by to get my beignet fix the next time I'm here.

Line was huuuuuge. But eh, whadaya gonna' do? Beignets were great. Love the cute signs inside. Alright, one problem, we were there for a looooong time because of the aforementioned long line, and no one EVER came outside to clean the 3 tables outside the storefront. This family left the biggest mess I've ever seen at any Disneyland Park. Idk if it's because it was so late so the staff didn't want to clean before closing, but we were waiting in line and stayed to eat for about 45mins and no one ever came to clean the outside area.

Caught the Beignets Express window at the perfect time because there was no line at all. It's typically wrapping around the corner, so be warned! I got the Banana Foster Beignets, and wow, they were so good. Super fluffy, with the rum flavor came through perfectly. They give you crème anglaise for dipping, but it really didn't need it: the beignets were already perfectly sweet and flavorful on their own. You get four generously sized beignets, so one order is plenty. The only downside is that seating is limited to 4 standing tables outside, but for a quick, delicious treat, it's 100% worth it. Definitely will be back!

These beignets are turning heads wherever they go! These absolutely scrumptious, fried-to-order, crispy and warm, sprinkled in sugar beignets are to die for.

Beignets Expressed is located in downtown Disney by Jazz kitchen. You will most likely notice a line as this place is pretty popping! We ordered the dream beignet box for $23.99 it included 4 original beignet's with your choice of any 4 glazed. We picked strawberry glaze and simply glazed. We also added on all 4 sauces which were $2.49 each. I thought the raspberry tang was phenomenal along with the caramel. The beignets were warm, soft and fluffy. Really quite incredible. Service was pretty quick. Although there was a line we were able to get in and out within 30 minutes. Tip: Parking at downtown Disney is $10 with validation.

I made the mistake of not shaking the bag so the powder sugar covers the beignets. That was a waste of two beignets tasting like dough. I would get the 6 pieces original because it's cheaper than 4 pieces. They also have glazed beignets that change seasonally and some chocolate drinks and coffee. I think the beignets are too thick- it's a little heavy in the middle. I'm sure it tastes better fresh on a plate than carried in a bag. But I hear this spot is way better than inside Disneyland.

The beignets were so fresh and tasty. Honestly, waaay better than the beignets served inside the park at New Orleans Square A 10 deep line takes about 15 minutes to clear. The workers are efficient and friendly. The business is clean inside and there are a couple standup tables outside to eat. After a busy day, the entire sidewalk outside is covered with powdered sugar. So delicious can't wait to come back again

Love it when its fresh and hot. We have tried to microwave it at home, still good but not like when its fresh. Line moves quickly, so thats great. Definitely worth trying.

Line wasn't too long on a Wednesday night at 7:30pm. -S'mores... but no chocolate... umm. That's not s'mores. Meh. Texture wasn't good either. 1/5 -Classic. Better. But I still think inside the parks is much much better. For the price we paid ($26), I would not recommend at all

Long line but it moved fast. Beignet dough is made fresh and fried in house. Sweet, fresh and piping hot when you get it so be careful on first bite. They offer dips such as caramel, raspberry and chocolate velvet. I thought the beignet was sweet enough without the dip so keep that in mind. Nice and upbeat staff considering how busy they always are. Recommend if you're in downtown Disney

I thought these beignets were just okay. The service was the same. Not terrible, but not the best either. However, if you are looking for a doughy sweet treat, check this place out. I enjoyed the caramel apple seasonal flavor the most. I also surprisingly liked the strawberry one as well. Typically that would not be my first choice. There really isn't much seating at the restaurant itself, but plenty of spaces to sit in Downtown Disney.

Was crazy the Disneyland beignets but didn't want to pay the Disneyland ticket (lol). Hoping this place in downtown Disney would be comparable... but it wasn't unfortunately. The beignets here were overly dense. More so like cake than the light and airy beignets that can be found inside the park.
