Good Hot pot place. The atmosphere was nice and the service was great. The staffs really helped us a lot and were attentive. Food was good with varieties on the menu. I’ve been to places with more and less but Beijing was in-between (more meat options but less veggie options). Location is easy to get to, lot of cafes and things to do around. Worth a visit if near the area! Recommend!

I've been to a lot of hotpot restaurants in the city. BeiJin Hotpot is a very average hotpot place. It's good, but hotpot is always good. Nothing exceptional for the price. The meat was good, maybe if we ordered different types of meat we would've had a better experience. There's nothing wrong with our dinner; we were just a bit disappointed. All in all, for the price range there are better places to go to.

Google
We found a huge bug in our hotpot broth on the mushroom during our visit. We were told that it was due to the mushroom being “fresh” but shouldn’t ingredients be washed before serving?? While the servers did apologize, the incident left us feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. Cleanliness and food safety are basic expectations, and this experience fell short. The apology was appreciated, but more could have been done to make things right. In addition, there were two birds that flew into the restaurant.. did not make this experience any better. Unfortunately, we left feeling unsatisfied and would not return.

Google
I didn’t find the flavor particularly special. It felt similar to most hot pot places, just with different cookware. What really stood out, though, was the server — and not in a good way. She was physically present, but it honestly felt like her soul had left the building. She moved around like she was on autopilot, clearly just waiting for her shift to be over. To make things worse, the guest at the table behind me kept shaking his leg nonstop, which made my chair wobble the entire time. Maybe he wasn’t being very considerate, but I also think the way the tables and chairs are arranged is part of the problem. If you can feel every little movement from the people around you, it takes away from the dining experience. My boyfriend was clearly still interested in eating, but unfortunately, I ended the experience early and we left. I just couldn’t enjoy the meal under those conditions. If you really like the style of Beijing hot pot, it might still be worth a try. After all, it is a very traditional branch of hot pot, and seeing a large plate of meat brought to the table is an impressive sight

Really good meat and base soups. Old China vibes with spacious booths and private areas as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and they open til super late so it’s a plus for after party food.

🔥 Craving late-night hotpot? Check out @beijinghotpot_nyc — NYC’s first authentic Beijing-style copper hotpot spot, right in Flushing! We went all in with their Beef Super Roll Combo and chose two amazing broths: rich Tomato 🍅 and savory Pork Belly 🐷. The space is a cozy blend of traditional Beijing decor and modern vibes, perfect for a chill dinner or late-night hang. Open daily until 6AM, it's a must-visit for all the night owls.

Google
Jingmen Copper Hotpot in Flushing is a gem for hotpot lovers! The broth options are rich—spicy and herbal—both packed with flavor. The meat slices (especially lamb) are tender and fresh, and the DIY sauce station lets you mix your perfect dip. Service was attentive, and the copper pots add a traditional touch. Portions are generous for the price (~$60/person). A must-try for hotpot cravings! ✅ Fresh meats & seafood ✅ Cozy atmosphere ✅ Great for groups

Yelp
Flushing are spoiling the locals here. So many great places to eat. I was up here for July 4th week. Decided to try this place for lunch before heading downtown for the fireworks. We got here when the restaurant just opened so we got a table right away. We ordered various items for the hot pot. Everything came out quickly and all tasted really good with the broth. The ambience is also very nice with the decorations. One of the best hot pot places that I've been to in the US.

Yelp
Dine like Chinese royalty Finally got to meet up with one of my best friends and that adventure took us all the way out to Flushing After grabbing Shenzhen baos (mini manapuas that's fried crispy on the bottom) and bubble tea, she needed to run off to an event. Before she did, she left us a list of yummy restaurant recommendations. It was the perfect hot pot weather and the wait wasn't too bad. We ordered a tomato and pork based broth along with an assortment of veggies and meats. Everything is ordered on an iPad. They also provide aprons. There's a little snack bar next to the sauce bar. For larger parties, there's a little rotunda that comfortable seats 6-8. Everything came out fairly quickly and the food was so yummy! The tomato broth was sweet, tomato-y, and slightly sour. The pork based broth came with a ton of veggies. We ate until we almost needed to be rolled out, hopped on the train back to Manhattan, and hoped we didn't fall asleep and miss our stop. I need to spend more time in Flushing the next time I visit NY. Thanks for reading my reviews! Let me know what I should try next!

Yelp
We got the spicy and pork broth. The pork broth reminds me of a classic pork soup my Chinese friends' moms would make. I enjoyed it a lot, really porky! The price is on par with Haidilao, which knocked it down a star for me since I felt that the sauce bar and dessert bar was average. They also charged us $3 each for sauce. We got the chuck cut and the ribeye cut and I didn't like it at all. Even the spicy broth couldn't save it. It was really lean and gamey. The noodles were really good in the pork broth. We also got the fatty cut of meat, which was good. We came on a Tuesday night so service was really good and attentive.

Yelp
So good! I can't believe I have waited so long to try this place. This place has an amazing lamb bone soup base (called lamp scorpion on the menu due to the shape), and it comes with a TON of ready to eat, tender, juicy, fall off the bone lamb. The soup base is also then great for cooking other hotpot ingredients. I also have to note that the service here is on another level, the servers are very well trained to provide a great experience to the diners. The restaurant also offers several tasty appetizers and a dessert grass jelly station. A must try for hotpot fans!

Yelp
My group of friends and I put in a reservation for Beijing Hotpot at 7:30pm on a Saturday and the place was packed! It was a perfect day to have hotpot because it was very cold outside. Hotpot restaurants are always packed on weekends! The interior of Beijing Hotpot is very pretty and utilizes traditional Chinese architecture to create cute booths for customers to dine in. We got to sit at a big round table booth for our group that we loved. We did 2 hotpot bases, spicy and non-spicy, and both were equally as delicious. All of the ingredients that we ordered came out in a timely fashion and all tasted very high quality. We particularly enjoyed the beef and the shrimp paste that we ordered for our hot pot. The sauces also came with side dishes like spicy pig ear which we were all a fan of. I believe the sauce was an automatic additional cost which Haidilao also does, and while I am not a fan of it, I understand as the two restaurants are at similar levels. The price was inevitably high for this restaurant being a higher quality experience, but overall, I would recommend coming here for special occasions and celebrations to treat yourself. P.S. The table setting is beautiful which makes for great group photos too!

Yelp
Not usually a huge fan of non-AYCE hot pot but this place hit the spot. We originally were going to try somewhere else but when that wait was too long we were able to walk in here. Super accessible, lovely seating, nice bathroom. We grabbed the pork belly chicken pot broth & spicy broth- the latter was the favorite. Got the lamb/beef combo. I was worried this may not be enough food but it certainly was. I do hate having to buy mushrooms separately but it wouldn't be hotpot without it. The sauce station was nice and comprehensive-had everything I would want. And after we were seated they brought us some of the complimentary apps from the sauce station without us having to do anything. I'll say I wish I had asked for a plastic bag for our coats earlier-didn't realize this was an option.

Yelp
Both Food and services are amazing here! The price is also reasonable. The sesame paste is the best among all hot pot places I've been to!!!

Yelp
Came here to here for the name, I guess everything in Bejing is spicy. Not much for those who can't handle spice. The sauce bars are limited and my favorite peanut sauce is horrid. No leg room. It's insane. I prefer if everyone has their own hotpot but had to share. Being that. They threw so much filler. Couldn't even find what I put it. Hence had to hold it while it cooked. Two soup spoons for the whole table of 3 ppl. No good Nice workout - not. Service is ok. Very busy I would not recommend to novice or American hotpot lovers. No water and took the teapot back. Why? Meats were decent but limited. Definitely not worth the price. Especially with Hotpot buffets and cheaper options that are more enjoyable, better layered out and delicious. I rate them 3.5 and that me being very generous

Yelp
Very aesthetic and they offer a lot of unique items in the menu. Including lychee shrimp balls as well as the meat options. If you post a review you can get a complimentary dessert. I recommend giving this place a try if you have never had Beijing hotpot.
google avatar

Gab G.

Yelp
Amazing hotpot option. My friend and I came on a weeknight at around 7:15 and there was no wait for a table. We went with the tomato broth and mild spicy broth, which were both fantastic. American wagyu beef and lychee shrimp balls were both highlights, and in general the ingredients were great/fresh. Would recommend!!

Yelp
Very good restaurant, the staff was very friendly to me from the moment I walked in - I was greeted at the door with zero wait time. I've never eaten at a restaurant like this and the waitress, named Ivy, took some time to show me how to order, how to eat the proper way and how to make my own sauce that would work well with what I ordered. She was very helpful and she was very kind too. A good ambiance was met with some great food! They have their recommended times to cook (it's all self cooked if you're as blissfully unaware as I was) I will definitely be coming back to Beijing hot pot as they made me feel welcomed albeit the fact that I was an absolute newbie at this sort of cuisine and culture. 10/10 recommend. I'm by no means an expert but I do look forward to having an upper hand next time as I'll definitely remember this experince. Location- ground floor of the plaza. - Google maps brought me in circles for a few moments. I can imagine this place gets busy at some points in the week!

Yelp
Great soup base. Really liked chicken with stomach soup base, very potent. Great quality and quantity in general. Great selection of free side dishes. Meat has good variety, enjoy especially the fresh cuts which you can find most other places. Overall great value.

Helen C.

Yelp
Tomato and spicy broths were delicious! Nice presentation of fresh meat and veggies. Friendly staff!

Susan C.

Yelp
Nice vibe walking inside this hotspot place. We are party of 5 but only 2 large table available in entire restaurant so we had no option but to squeezed into table set for 4. Price was reasonable and portions were big but they charge $3/person for condiments. Not worth it! Meat was fresh served nicely around the hot pot. Overall didn't think this place was much special. One perk : they will cover your parking at Tangram for 4 hours

Yelp
Invited our friends to a new year's celebration. Instead of the usual set dinner at a Cantonese restaurant, we opted for something different - traditional Chinese hotpot. First of all, great location. Parking in Flushing can be difficult. There is a public/ hotel parking garage below so it was convenient for us that drove to Flushing. Decor is traditional Chinese. We got a table for 10 which sets in a Chinese pavilion - how cool is that for our friends. Upon enter, we were greeted warmly by our hostess who took our coats and placed them in huge plastic bags. I had to explain to our friends that this was to protect our coats from absorbing the hotpot smell. Ordering thru online menu on iPads was a breeze. All that you can think of for hotpot were there. Preparation and presentation were nice. The food came out quick. It was a very good dinner.

Yelp
Honestly really wanted to love this place, food was sub par, nothing crazy, tastes like any other hot pot restaurants in NYC, what sets them apart from other hotpot places is that they also have the Peking duck platter to show the Beijing style. I would say they try to focus on presentation more than the quality of the food. Speaking of quality, I found a bug on my mushroom that came from my mushroom broth, I showed it to the waiter, which btw very nice guy, he kept apologizing profusely and then went to tell the other waitress. She comes back a couple minutes later and says that she spoke with the chef and chef confirms that it is totally natural because the mushrooms are fresh and those bugs eat the mushrooms. So I'm assuming washing the mushrooms is out of the question.. Also pigeons were flying in, not the restaurant's fault and I appreciate the hostess trying to capture it on multiple occasions but it kept flying around the ceiling above our and other people's food which makes you feel like you're dining in a zoo. Anyway, all appetite was lost, they gave us a free dessert and 12% off our bill which was equivalent to $16. The soup base alone was $20. Also sauce is like $2 per person. If a restaurant is charging prices like these, I expected a much better experience. To summarize if you're looking for the aesthetic ig food pics but don't really care about the taste or quality then this is the place for you.

Yelp
HIGH quality meat, veggies, and broth. but NOT AYCE and coming from someone who is used to hot pot buffet..i'll admit this was pretty pricey. For 2 people, we spent $120 and it was mostly veggies. The only meat we had was the homemade meatball and the fatty beef (the cheapest option) haha. That said, the quality of everything was top notch and the special meat combos/plates do look very impressive. Service was also very good. Props to Mr. Five, our server! They'll put your clothes in a bag and the cleanup was very quick. We didn't want spicy broth so we opted for the dual option with tomato and chicken. The broth was awesome - didn't really need sauce for much. Overall, good hot pot but pricey so be prepared to spend especially for the meat!
google avatar

Spencer L.

Yelp
Food quality is good and tasty. The beef and lamb slices are the best! The service is very friendly and warmly.
google avatar

Taylor S.

Yelp
Really attentive service for a hot pot restaurant, they came and took the foam off the broth several times and quickly cleared away plates. They also gave us new plates in between. It was nice we could also take home the food we weren't able to finish, and they scooped everything out for you to put in the container. Szechuan broth was tasty but oily as can be expected, we asked for some lain hot broth on the side which they kindly provided. They also gave you aprons, and a plastic bag to put jackets and such away. Only wish they had more than one restroom. They also had iced jelly and herbal sweet soup for dessert as part of the sauce bars which was nice. Not ayce so a bit pricy and can be compared to Liuyishou and similar places.

Yelp
My first time getting hot pot and let me tell you I had NO idea what I was doing. The soup was pretty delicious however I did not love the meat so I definitely ate around that. The sauces truly made the whole meal though! I definitely want to come back and try this again and I LOVED their peanuts the ambiance was also super cute and traditional and ordering was super easy as we were given an iPad ! Yelp
This is NOT an AYCE hotpot. Ambiance (5/5): Beautiful, ornate decorations that creates and immersive dining experience. The entrance is a lovely stream with fish pond that leads into the main dining room. The walls are decked out in small figurines and then each of the area has a built in roof-like structure to make it look like you're in a classic outdoor building. The walls even have fake windows. Clean bathrooms and sauce stations. Provided trash bags to keep your clothes from smelling from the steam. Service (4/5): No wait for a weeknight at 530pm. They accept reservations. Orders are completed on a tablet and can be sent to the staff in piecemeal. The foot came out relatively quick. We had water refills often. However, when we tried to close the bill, the tablet command was sent but no one came. We flagged someone down and it was quick after that. Food (3.5/5): A two-flavor pot option is available. The spicy pot had like a HUGE slab of pork fat that made the broth wayyy too rich, like my mouth was caked in a thick layer of fat. My stomach did not agree with me the next morning... The broth is $19 and did not come with refills when the soup levels dipped. Their sauce station is very lackluster with only a few choices of different sauces. For me, I was hoping there was siracha or hoisin. There's a small selection of cold appetizers. On top of that the sauces were an add-on of $5.85/pp. There is a package of $88 for 2 but the selection was not idea so we decided on our own options and were sufficiently full. Skip the "Fresh shrimp fish roe lucky bag". The sliced beef was good, while not super tender like other marbleized meat choices, it was still great. Vegetable pricing seemed steep for the quantity that we got. The establishment also gifted us a FREE birthday meat dish!! That was a surprise and we very much appreciated it. Overall, the price point was reasonable for what we ordered but quality to price could be better.

Asd A.

Yelp
This restaurants are a flavorful and fun way to enjoy a meal, especially if you love variety and don't mind a hands-on dining experience.

Yelp
Following other suggestions to here. Delicious food and good service, the price is reasonable, will come back again

Yelp
Open late, nice atmosphere, food is very good and I like the beef. Service is okay, he is little lack maybe it's midnight, but overall, everything is perfect

Yelp
Good service, great price, good food. Refill for food and a good deal if you join membership

Yelp
This hotpot is one of the best. The tomato stock is delicious and is made with fresh tomatoes. I also love the shrimp balls and meatballs. I love making my own sauce. I use a lot of the fresh garlic so I can have extra immune boosting power. The decor is really cozy as well. Good for date nights.

Yelp
Good. Amazing good and great staff hugely recommend. Authentic Beijing hotpot. And also great service by Soya

Yelp
Bump into this hidden gem while we were looking for a new hotpot place to try in flushing. We were greeted by the front desk lady. She was so nice. Inside is so cute. The decors, lighting and everything make you feel like you're in the rural area of China lol. We had the Szechuan and the pork belly broth. We enjoyed the pork belly broth so much. It was so flavorful and tasty. High quality ingredients. Everything is so fresh and authentic. They also have all variety of sauces to choose from. Friendly staffs and amazing food 10/10 highly recommend if you're in flushing.

Yelp
Came here for a weekend lunch after it initially opened. The vibe was great! Like a lot of Chinese restaurants now they try to simulate how it is in old China with their decors, which was very nice. We liked the old style kettles and utensils as well as the seating arrangements. The service was good in that they were very efficient in taking your orders and bringing out the food. The food was pretty nice! We got their half duck, which was slightly on the saltier side and we also did the hot pot, which was the highlight. We loved how the broth was contained in the traditional Beijing style pot, really made me think we were in China. Their meat platters are all very well displayed. We ordered meat on a wheel and it was just so photogenic. The meats were cut well and went really well with the broth. Overall would come again!

Yelp
soya was our waitress . Excellent customer service. the environment is very nice. I would like to come back again.

Christi K.

Yelp
Soup broth based were really good: tomato, tom yum (spicy seafood) -- like tomato slightly more. Add-ins for hotpot were a bit expensive. I would not get the rice cake with cheese or fish fillet again. The beef with snowflake was not enough beef for the two of us. Sauce station also wasn't that good. The sauce station had limited options (but had all the essential ones). Service: We had to ask for ladles 3 times (it wasn't there to start with) before a server remembered and brought them to us. A lot of the drinks also wasn't available. You order with a tablet so food did arrive quickly though and they refilled water and broth without us asking to.

Yelp
Broth 9/10 Meat quality 10/10 Sauces 7/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 9/10 Amazingly fast service. The servers were on point with getting us our meat and making sure that our order was fulfilled. The meat quality is amazing even for the base beef and lamb.
google avatar

Kai W.

Yelp
I went here for my birthday and had such a great time. The food was amazing and easy to cook. The servers explained how long to cook each meat for which helped cook the meat to the perfect chew. I definitely recommend the beef and lamb roll combo to share between 3 to 4 people. The cooked shrimp paste was really tender and full of flavor. For the soup bases, we got spicy and mushroom. I personally like the spicy broth as we were able to adjust the spice level. They also gave us a free plate of meat because it was my birthday, I really appreciate it! The decoration and vibe of the restaurant is similar to if you were in ancient China. Totally recommend and will definitely return!
google avatar

Cheryl L.

Yelp
Beijing hotpot is a great hotpot option to add to your rotation if you're looking for quality ingredients and broths that are packed with flavor. My boyfriend and I came on a Sunday and thankfully, we were greeted and seated immediately. I recommend getting the split pot for two broths to have variety and balance! We got the tomato broth and the spicy (mild). I am sooo glad we got mild because even mild packed a punch (and I have pretty decent spice tolerance). I would say the broths are for the most part comparable with those of haidilao. I normally don't get drinks at hotpot since I drink the broth, but if you're looking for a palette cleanser, get the grapefruit yakult! I also really enjoyed the shrimp paste but wish their bean curd roll portion was a lil bigger for its cost, it was only 4 pieces. Will probably return once in a while since the prices are more on the high side, although I firmly believe Beijing is an authentic hotpot restaurant worth trying.

Yelp
Great food, beautiful setting, servers are very attentive. You cannot go wrong beautiful place to take pictures.
google avatar

Lilah M.

Yelp
Food was great here! We had a little confusion over spice level- we ordered something mild and it was like a 20/10 in spiciness and pretty much inedible, but luckily we ordered two broth flavors and they refill them as you go. Was fun and would definitely go again!

Helen G.

Yelp
One of the best hot pot places I've been; I am extremely impressed with the quality and cut of meat. I tried the half beef half lamb platter. The cut was perfectly thick, the lamb had the perfect amount of gamey-ness to it, and the beef roll was my favorite. I also enjoyed the shrimp paste balls. Everything here is super fresh and delicious. The tomato soup was so yummy and flavorful

Yelp
I always enjoy coming here to eat because the food, the service and the atmosphere are always top notch! You can order a great variety of food and drinks from the tablet and they will be served to you right away. The staff will also check up on you and make sure that everything is fine. If you're in the area and want to have delicious Hot Pot, then I highly recommend Beijing Hot Pot! :)

Yelp
Cuisine: 8 Service: 6 Decor: 8 Value: 6 Overall: 7 Guess what? This restaurant is not the Szechuan style hot pots that dominates Flushing, and all over NYC. This new entry into an already saturated market has a unique selling point - NORTHERN STYLE HOT POT !!! What makes it different? First of all, you will notice the old school style copper pot with chimney that's on every table. They use charcoal inside these apparatus to create the heat for boiling the soup base. Does it make a difference in taste? I don't think so, but it looks kind of cool. You can control the heating process by simply opening and closing the chimney to your liking. Another key difference is the emphasis on fresh lamb, in this case, meat from the neck. I really wish they had other selections as well, but their fresh hand cut lamb neck meat alone will bring me back. It is expensive, but truly outstanding. Tender and slightly fatty, but most of all, so flavorful. Fyi, I love lamb and the "gaminess" does not bother me. In Northern China, they prefer mutton because they like the flavor of the animal. This cut of meat has more "gaminess" than the average lamb, so be warned. Another standout was their equally expensive fresh hand cut ribeye beef slices. Super tender and comes in a plate of four large slices. Honestly, when I come back, I would skip the average tasting ring of meat (looks cool) or the Japanese pork belly (actually pork shoulder). I would just order fresh hand cut lamb neck and the ribeye beef. Pair my meats with some veggies and I'll be pretty happy. The decor is very nice, but somewhat similar to many of the high end Chinese restaurants that are popping up. Take note that they only have two tables large enough for a party of five or more. Service felt a bit slow due to likely understaffing and still newly opened. They also lacked knowledge of what they offer and pricing. However, they were very friendly when serving us. Btw, there are no meat bone broths of any kind if that's what you are looking for. However, they have a wonderful mushroom broth that was excellent. With that said, their spicy broth was just average. Next time, I'll try the tomato broth. Looking forward to coming here a few times this winter.

Yelp
Fav hotpot spot in flushing; hand in hand with chonqing lao zao! Must try the sour cabbage broth (comes with a whole crab for added umami) I would also recommend adding an order of preserved cabbage to make the broth more flavorful. Def a good balance of spicy and sour if you order the two-type broth. The lamb makes the broth so good at the end of the meal. Try goat balls if you are daring haha. They have a few exotic ingredients which is why I like this place. I'm tired of the ayce ingredient options. You can get FRESH sea bass, homemade cuttle fish balls, and pig's brain. The marble on the beef is nice too. They also make their own spicy broth in house; it's numbing and fragrant. Have to make the special Beijing sauce mix that contains a lot of peanut butter, cilantro, and garlic!

Yelp
Overall I love the food (5 stars for food quality and fresh ingredients ) ,service is great (5 stars, constantly checking, refill the broth in timely manner, very nice) , and beautiful homey ambiance. Perfect for night out with date or friends. Definitely can host big group. Raw clams are a must try.. super fresh , can be eaten like sashimi and it's so sweet. Very authentic Beijing hotpot. Definitely a must try!

Yelp
The waiting list maintenance is very inefficient. The door girl has no clue how to lead the customers basically she judged by the appearance of the customers who are easy and seat the ones look a bit tough, which is very stupid and unfair to many customers are nice . The place should hire a better door people who are more professional since this is considered as very upscale restaurant in flushing

Yelp
So so delicious! The staff is very attentive and kind. The sauce bar had everything I needed and we were served right away. We got the lamb and beef combo, fresh Beancurd skin and mixed green vegetables. The decorations were very beautiful and my boyfriend said he felt like he was in China! I've never been so I can't attest. Likely the best quality meats I've had at a hot pot place. We'll be back soon!

Yelp
Loved it, our waitress Sonya was amazing and attentive. Me and my beautiful lady enjoyed our soup, meats, and fried lotus root, and that's a fact!

Yelp
My friends and I were pretty surprised by how delicious this place was! Flushing nowadays has such competitive hot pot places and this one isn't the most popular one. But we were impressed by the food here. The broth was very flavorful and the food was good quality. Very wide selection of the dishes. Really good service and clean nice dining environment.
