"Xian bing or “doorknob” pies arrived on Main Street with the opening of Beijing Pie House. The original location, which opened in Monterey Park in 2011, has remained a SGV favorite. The new branch offers the same small menu of meat and veggie pies, dumplings, and appetizers. This marks Beijing Pie House’s second attempt at expansion; an outlet in City of Industry operated from 2014-2015." - Jim Thurman

Newly opened on main Street. Beijing pie house offers dumpling, meat pies, and noodles. Overall it was pretty good! Service was amazing when you compare it to other asian establishments. They kept on checking on us to see if we were ready to order and if our food was good. I feel like the food was good but there are definitely places what are better. It's one of those places that is always brides maid, never a bride type of restaurant. Still it's worth it to try it out. The beef roll was good but 101 still holds the crown for best beef roll. Way better than other places. The spicy dumpling were the bomb! Best thing we had there. It has great spicy flavor with a hint of raw garlic (which I love). I wanted to get more dumpling so that I don't waste that saucy goodness! The portions are reasonable. Definitely will come back to try different meat pies and getting that spicy dumpling!

This is actually the second time we've been here at the Alhambra location. This Time around, in addition to the garlic cucumber we also got the tofu and green onions and the spicy cabbage has appetizers, barely managing are cravings for the green onion pancakes and the sesame pancakes. As for entrees, The Ant got the same thing she always does: the pie with the beef and green onions. This time around I got the pork and fennel pie. It was outstanding. Be aware that the beef and green onion pie seems to be a lot juicier and the pork and fennel pie. I also wanted to try their beefroll but took it to go. It was good yet standard; not likely I'd order that again, what with all the outstanding options. Caden was an excellent attentive server. Latest: every time we've come here -- which is about a half dozen times now -- the Ant has got the pie made of beef and green onion. This time around she mixed it up, shocked me by saying that she would get dumplings. She surprised me again because I thought you would get xlb, but she got the beef and green onion dumplings instead. no surprise that they were outstanding because everything else I've had here is. I don't know what the hell they do with their tofu appetizer but it's delicious beyond reason. And I love their cabbage salad and their garlic cucumbers are killer. Photos to follow. Gary is a great server.

This is definitely one of my top-5 spots in San Gabriel Valley. The pies are amazing, especially the lamb one but these dumplings are just as good. Pick-up is quick and easy and there's a pretty spacious outdoor waiting area.

Take out only during COVID time. Their original location is closed so this is the only one opening. Call ahead for your order, everything is made to order and can take 30+ minutes to make during busy time. However, the taste did not change. Friendly waiter & tasty food. Highly recommended by foodies. Try their stuffed Chinese pancake (the ones with onions / chives are great). You will not regret it!

Delicious dumplings and Beijing style meat pies. My favorite was the pumpkin and shrimp dumpling. Fast service, good prices. Go with a group so you can try an assortment of dishes.

The pork Beijing pies, pan fried pork dumplings, dan-dan noodles, and flaky scallion pancake were delicious! The vegetarian pie was disappointing for my vegetarian fiancee... But she loved the spicy Dan Dan noodles made vegetarian as well as the pancake. Also be aware there is shrimp in the Egg and Leek pie.
