"Beit Rima rapidly expanded to open three locations within a year in 2019, but is now closing its location in Daly City: Tablehopper spotted that Nick the Greek will be replacing it at Westlake Center. But Beit Rima is still serving Arab comfort food at its two locations in Duboce Triangle and Cole Valley." - Becky Duffett

"Arabic comfort food mini-chain Beit Rima is expanding fast, opening on Church Street in February and in Cole Valley in November. Now its Daly City location has set an opening date, as via Instagram the restaurant says its spot at 507 Westlake Center will start serving owner Samir Mogannam’s family recipes as soon as February 1." - Eve Batey

"Less than a year after chef Samir Mogannam landed a casual hit with his Church Street Palestinian and Jordanian restaurant Beit Rima, the 29-year-old is expanding to a third location. Since opening on Church Street in a declining Burgermeister location this February, Beit Rima has drawn crowds and praise for its 'Arabic comfort food' — dishes like hummus ma’ Lehma (warm hummus topped with spiced beef), chicken shish tawook platters, and fattoush that SF Chronicle critic Soleil Ho called 'utterly delicious.'" - Caleb Pershan

So proud of Chef Samir Mogannam, who has realized his vision of expanding gourmet Arabic comfort food, by making a debut in Daly City. We are long time fans of Beit Rima, at its original church street location, and in fact had accidentally bumped into this amazing culinary experience by a stroke of weird luck. And as fate would have it, we accidentally happened to stop by on its soft opening today at Westlake center in Daly City. As usual chef Samir and his uncle were gracious welcoming hosts. The menu is classic and we ordered our favorite dishes. The mezze platter is a good way to sample a bunch of dips: fresh labneh with a drizzle of zatar, a sublime babaganoush (eggplant), smooth silky hummus and a decadent muhhamara, served with pita bread, sumac onions, cucumber and 2 falafels. Next up was ful (fava bean stew) that can compete wine the best ful in Israel or anywhere in the mIddle east. It has a hint of lemon and is a great accompaniment to the piece de la resistance... Samir's hand kneaded bread with zatar and a hint of olive oil. This is made fresh and takes at least 5 minutes to bake. You can eat it by itself or scoop up that delicious ful or mezze platter. There's a reason why Beit Rima is the best new restaurant in San Francisco. Chef Samir has poured his soul into making his dream, from dishwasher to sous chef to celebrity chef. If you ever think how the Daly City location live up to the original Beit Rima, rest assured the food only gets better. This is a larger location, with tons of parking, and the highest quality ingredients. DC is lucky to have Beit Rima put it on the map of the best food in the Bay Area! Go and experience it before the lines get too long.

I remember trying Beit Rima when it first opened in the Castro. It's been a couple of years since then. We happened to be doing Home Depot runs and noticed this branch in Westlake. The food is delicious! The beef kabob plate is wonderful - juicy and flavorful kabobs on a bed of fluffy rice with yogurt sauce. The hummus is really delicious too. I also like their pita a lot. Highly recommend!

Food here is sooooooo good. We've picked up take out from here several times now and consistently great every time! We love the chicken kebabs, the beef kebabs, the hanger steak, and the grilled Hallumi cheese. Their rice is rich and buttery! Service is really good..always on time.

Really excellent, well-priced Arabic food. The mezze are delicious, especially the lebna (strained yogurt) and muhammara (pepper spread). Make sure to get the hand bread to go with all the dips. Proteins are also quite good but overall I think the vegetarian options are where it's at. Only weakness are the falafel, which are on the dense side.

We ordered food for takeout, and it was delicious! The hummus with spiced beef was amazing. It's a must try! We live down the road and will definitely be regular customers.
