I am writing this while I am still at the pool. The place is really nice and very well decorated. The pool design is pretty good and invites guests to interact. The reason for the 3 stars is because the service is not great at all. I have been here for 2 hrs and not a single person have asked me if I want something to eat or drink. This is my first time here and I was hoping to get good service. I am not big on party pools so I usually seek pools that a little more on the relaxing side. Too bad that the service in this place is not equally amazing as the place it self. Next time I come. I will get a chaor/lounge close to the bar so I can order myself or just eat before coming to the pool (outside the resort)

After brunch, we walked around the hotel. A young lady welcomed us in to walk around and have look . I love the decor and the pool area! Great job on the design and flo! Thanks to the young lady for inviting us in and being so kind and helpful!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We will come back to enjoy the day at pool!

Cleanest and nicest pool at the moment. Hopefully they maintain this way. Note* Kids are only allowed if you're a guest or you're getting a cabana. At the time of the visit the cabana was $350. It's worth it but it might save you a drive if that's out of your budget. General admission is more expensive than other pools in town. $30 weekdays and $40-50 weekends. Pretty high but maybe it funnels the crowd.

Food and drinks are good. Cocktail waitresses are very very lazy, they seemed bothered about taking orders. 2 hours and no service they just sit by the front bar and chat. Had to go up and ask for a drink and was greeted with attitude. I’ve heard from several people that the wait staff is lazy and slow but I didn’t imagine it like this. Very unfortune as I’ve heard lots of people don’t want to return due to this. To have 3-4 wait staff and no one do any laps is awful.

The pool is beautiful but the service is absolutely horrible. It took forever for someone to wait on us. Once we got our food it was at least an hour before anyone came to check on us. When I asked for water I was pointed towards the water station. I had enough and flagged down a waitress so we could pay. It took more than 30 minutes for our waitress to come to us. No check just “checking in on us” then we had to wait even longer for our check. Service is horrible and it wasn’t busy that day. Horrible horrible service.

I really want to love this pool it's beautiful it's clean, the drinks are good. But I've been here twice now and the service is garbage. Took 20 minutes to get a menu, it was slow and server was complaining about how "hard she was working" when we saw her simply standing In the service well the 6 hours we were there. I love this pool & vibe but the service is so awful I don't think I'll be back

We visited the Bel Aire pool on Saturday April 20th. We celebrated a friend's birthday with a cabana reservation. Very friendly stuff , great service and food was delicious. especially I loved the lobster roll. The water in the pool is a pleasant temperature and the best part is that all this is located within a 7-minute drive from home and you don’t need to go to the strip. We will certainly be frequent guests in the summer.

Service was terrible, my friends and I sat there for 20 min at the bar watched as others got served and we never got served so we left.

The overall ambiance of Bel-Aire Backyard is a pleasant change from the usual party pools on the Las Vegas strip. I love a new locals hangout & Bel-Aire is just that! It's the newly opened pool area at the Durango. Some friends and I went to kick off summer with a couple day beds for Memorial Day. We loved that it wasn't overly busy & the food/drink prices were really reasonable. When we came there wasn't a live DJ which was fine since the music was still good. It is all ages but there weren't a ton of kids. Food wise I thought the poke bowl was great. The quesadilla was just okay. Overall an awesome pool day & we'll definitely be back again. Beautiful space with friendly workers & great vibes.

What a vibe and literally my backyard! I love it here especially that they cater to locals on Recess Fridays and have a DJ! This is much better than the pool parties on the strip, which have limited pool chairs and space with a tiny pool where no one can really fit and enjoy their time there. The pool is large enough for everyone to enjoy and a backyard with 2 pool bars and an area to dine if you decide to order food. However, you have the option to sit wherever as there is seating throughout and also lounge in the pool area. The service was okay; sometimes you have to wave the server to remind them that you need to order. It can get super busy on a Friday, and I cannot evaluate their service at other times, but they tried their best to be accommodating and prompt with our order. Overall, this is something to check out at least once if you are a local and looking to cool off during the summer months.

Came here to get a quick bite to eat and drink before heading to the pool and to avoid paying the $40 entry fee for the pool. If you dine here, you are able to show your receipt at the entrance of the pool to get a stamp and towel. You are only allowed to sit in and open lounger though which is understandable. My friend and I each ordered a cocktail and we split the BBQ chicken quesadilla. My 32oz pina colada was absolutely terrible. It hardly had any flavor or alcohol in it and was mostly ice, that wasn't blended properly. IT was truly a disappointment. The quesadilla was also nothing to write home about. After all was said and done, we ended up paying just over $40 a piece but we didn't have to pay the pool entry fee and the price of a drink so we still came out ahead. The restaurant itself is very pretty and the vibe/people watching is great. So many beautiful women, both as the waitresses, hostesses, and patrons of the pool. It is outside and though it is covered and there are misters, it still gets pretty hot.

Had a lovely lunch here the other day. Service was quick and the food was yummy. Cocktails are a bit pricey but typical considering the venue/location. After lunch, we got comfy on one of the daybeds and enjoyed an afternoon of sun, pool and good vibes. The pool and its surrounding areas are well maintained. Staff overall are super attentive and very nice. I will be back soon for another staycation!!

I've never been to Palm Springs, but the pool at the new Durango casino definitely is giving Palm Springs vibes -- the sunny yellow daybeds, the astroturf near the back, the white curtains of the cabanas billowing in the breeze, and of course, the palm trees punctuating and surrounding this modern oasis in the desert. Ordinarily, the entry fee is $30 Monday through Friday, and $40 on the weekends, and even more on certain holidays. My friends were staying at this hotel, so I was able to enjoy complimentary admission with them. I was impressed with the cleanliness and overall atmosphere. The pool is on the smaller side, not too crowded. The lily pads and some chaise lounge chairs are actually on top of the water, so theoretically you never have to leave the poolside. There's a small fountain flowing in the center, which is reminiscent of Red Rock casino's style. I didn't try the food, but I did get a cocktail -- the TROPICAL MOJITO. It looked promising in its 14 oz glory and garnished prettily, but alas, it was rather weak, especially at $18. So I was disappointed in that regard. Thus, the missing star. Everything else was nice. Add Bel-Aire Backyard to the list of off-strip options for fun summer pool days in Vegas.

Open table swindled me! I thought the Bel-Aire Backyard lounge was participating in Restaurant Week but they weren't. Either way I had an amazing time. It was so nice to sit beneath the mist and enjoyed a nice lunch while watching others enjoy the pool. The DJ was spinning a nice playlist. The food was decent. I enjoyed the Durango Roll. It had pineapple inside which was a nice and brought an unexpected flavor profile with the tuna. The steak frites were recommended by my server. I normally don't like shoestring fries but these were so crispy and seasoned. The steak was a typical flank steak. I didn't like the sauce that came with it but overall the dish wasn't bad. The buffalo wings I was not a fan of. I didn't like the cut of the wings and the excess Red Devil or Franks Hot sauce coated on top.

This place is exceptional! My friend and I decided to come today April 15th 2024. We arrived around 12:30pm and talked to the girls in the front at check In they went over the daybed and cabana prices. We were more interested In just paying for GA since we just wanted to eat and lay out and we're not interested in drinking. The girls were nice enough to let us in with two lounge chairs in the pool right next to the bar with perfect sun. We ordered some coconut waters and some food, we ordered the yellowtail, Durango roll and Caesar salad, the food was absolutely delicious. The weather was perfect the music was amazing and it wasn't busy so that was nice. We had a few different servers helping us and they were so sweet!! We enjoyed our time here and left around 5pm we will definitely be back to check out a daybed and bring some more friends!! Thank you Bel aire backyard for an amazing time, this is definitely a great locals spot the vibe of a strip day club without the tourists and price gouging and rudeness, shout out to yall we will be back!!

$40 entry as a local on a Sunday. Felt a little pricey, but hopefully that helps keep the crowd a bit more classy. It's worth it to get a daybed or cabana since the free lounge chairs fill up quickly, and the only other option is to spread your towel out on the turf on the outskirts of the pool area. The vibes were pretty good no matter what section you were in, though. We arrived around 2 p.m., and the pool and pool bars were very busy. They were also sold out of all cabanas and daybeds already. For drinks, we started with skinny margaritas, and I thought it was a great drink--exactly what I asked for. We also ordered an açaí bowl and French fries, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were since I didn't have super high expectations for pool food. Overall, we had a fun time without even dipping in the pool once. I'll certainly return!

We always have a good time here. It's definitely been our go to spot for the summer. I've eaten lunch a few times at the bar, always delicious. We've reserved some day beds a couple of times, always a good time. Music is always on point. Bathroom is always clean, service is always good. One of the bartenders is my favorite - he always wants to talk sports betting which I'm very into. Always enjoyed each bartender we've had. Been there on weekends and during the week for lunch and prefer during the week. Less busy and less money to get in. Valet is always free and it's right next to the pool so use valet and tip those guy.

Food was awesome, servicw was great, n everyone was so pleasant. Restaurant was clean n music was off the wall. We loved that pool. It wasn't overly crowded. We had an awesome time. We really enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely return.

Rosie took such good care of us! We rented a cabana for my bday crew and she made sure we had the best time. Loved the lily pad we rented in the water even better than the cabana, I highly recommend the lily pad! Great music and vibes. Food was great. We had a group of 12 and everyone had a great time!

Im going to start by saying this place is the right spot to be in the summer if you are a local in las vegas. They have a heated pool and 2 full bars, 1 on each side of the pool. The cocktails are ok that why I didn't give it the full 5 starts but the food was good. They also have a live Dj playing on the weekends. The service was also good they were always on point when it came to ordering drinks or food or anything else we needed. I like the vibe and that is more like a locals retreat instead of a touristy day club.

Pool is my new favorite local spot! It's so cute and cozy and has an amazing atmosphere. We've gone a few times and the food is always amazing. The buffalo chicken wrap is my personal favorite but the poke bowl was also delicious.

Had the opportunity to get a sneak peak. Beautiful venue that is an extension of the Belaire Lounge. Opening is March 11th and pool season commences , you don't want to miss out. Photos coming soon....

Such a cute spot!! We sat at the bar and had a few cocktails our bartender was very nice can't really remember her name but Erik the bar back was phenomenal!! Such a nice guy and very attentive. Will definitely be coming back again!

Went here for a girls day at the pool. Nice pool, great for families and even kids! A lot of options on the menu and everything was tasty. Drinks were refreshing and our bartender Erick E was great! Super good at what he does! Definitely will plan another trip back here!

Lexi was our server and we had a day bed. She recommended the tostada and watermelon salad and it didn't disappoint. Splurge when you come and get the day bed so you have a seat and server. Lexi was very down to earth and attentive. We had an enjoyable experience and will be back.

We (try to) visit family in Summerlin every year and schedule a pool/cabana day at a local resort. This year we chose the Bel-Aire Backyard at the Durango and we had a great day! Professional, warm, and attentive service, delicious food and drinks, and a tidy and wonderful setting. We went on a Tuesday, probably one of the hottest days in July - so getting in and out of the water (or sun) happened quite often. It's not the biggest pool around but I liked the intimate feel - the facilities and anything we might need was not far from our cabana.

Beautiful pool, intimate setting with day beds, nice comfortable pool chairs and full service cabanas. There's a plethora of drink and food selection. Pool is smaller but a decent size with a nice fountain in the center.

Super chill spot with good food and great service! Locals get in free and easy parking on site.

Cool spot water felt nice. The bar that we went to only had one bartender and when I asked the lady to flag him down for me, she told me to go to the other bar. I don't think they count for the Sunday traffic. But after a while, they got more people to help him out. We had the breakfast burrito and some french fries and the fries were, thumbs up and the burrito was good

Love this local's paradise. The environment was great, I was happy with how clean everything was, especially for a pool environment. The service was fantastic. Our server Jay was attentive and had an infectious energy. She made the experience memorable and fun, even in 115 degree heat! Recommend her if you rent a cabana. I'd definitely recommend stopping in to cool off and enjoy a fun day out with some friends/fam. Try the watermelon salad, it slaps! One recommendation for the business: trash cans in the cabanas.

Honestly, the food isn't that good here and the service is very slow, for no reason. But the vibes are cool. I really wanted to enjoy the food but I'd rather eat somewhere else in the casino and then head to the pool.

This place is amazing! Such a welcomed change in vibes from other pools in Vegas. The ambience is amazing. House music, Ibiza/Mykonos vibes. Rosey our server was just the absolute best. She's friendly and helped us the whole day with whatever we needed. Drinks and food were all great. Can't wait to come back and try more of their cocktails and food. This is a great spot for locals and visitors to vegas. Highly recommend!

Went here yesterday to check out this place and very disappointed! Local $40 person ( I don't have problem with paying ) The lady at the towel stand asked IF we all 21 ? We all ARE !! Walked in to the pool , oh my gosh - we saw kids everywhere ( please don't get me wrong , I love children) What was the purpose asked IF we are 21 and up IF there were kids under 21 everywhere ? We rather see Kaskade , Tiesto or famous DJ with that cover to get in . It's not about the money , it's about the principle. The website did said - Not child- friendly Definitely NOT recommend this pool and please DO NOT go here ( FALSE advertisement)

I absolutely love this place! If you are looking to have some fun in the sun this is where to be. It's such a beautiful pool and the food is amazing! Our server Lexi was amazing! She always had a smile and was so helpful and patient going over the menu with us. You can tell she honestly likes her job! I will be back any excuse I get!!!

I'm obsessed with this place. It is way better than Red Rock Casino Pool in my opinion. Less kids, but still quite a few. Wondering if they will get a 21+ only pool. The vegan burger was the best burger I've had in my life! The sushi boat and fruit tray was super fresh! The drinks were great & the vibes overall were just so much fun! The waitresses were very polite and friendly. I am coming back all summer long!

Bel-Aire Backyard is hands down one of my favorite places in Vegas. We love laying poolside and enjoying the Lobster roll! It is packed with lobster with the softest buttery roll. Jay is our go to chicka. She is the sweetest and makes sure we're taken care of and fast. Plus a total babe. The vibe is always electric with great energy. This place is so great we don't even go to the strip anymore.

Here on opening day, no first day jitters. Staff is very attentive and very attractive. Our waitress Sarah was very knowledgeable with great recommendations. Everything we had was delicious.

Been to Bel-Aire several times and I will continue to go because of its top-notch hospitality. During my last visit, our server was Lexi. She was so sweet and really made our experience unforgettable.

It is a fun local spot for a relaxing family day out. The atmosphere is laid back, perfect for unwinding. The pool was clean. Erick behind the bar was friendly and attentive. Great customer service. It's a nice place to spend a leisurely afternoon.

Absolutely loved this place! Showed up bright and early, staff greeted me walking in which you don't see often. After talking to staff for a while they recommended me this fantastic açaí bowl (item that's pictured) that was out of this world! For a new casino not only is the ambiance fantastic but it leaves the guest wanting more, definitely will be coming back!

Shocked! Astounded! We were absolutely disappointed at our experience at the Bel-Aire Backyard Grill. For starters, they only had one server for the entire place and even though there were only a few tables, the service was slow and sporadic. They have bottomless mimosas/Bloody Mary's. We started by ordering a Bloody Mary for my wife and I had the mimosa. They only have one flavor of mimosa. The Bloody Mary was weak, it tasted as if if was only tomato soup/Clamato. We asked for an additional shot of Vodka to strengthen the drink and the server told us that it would cost. (A bottomless drink, that we could have ordered multiple ones of would cost for the shot that goes in it?) I had ordered a soda with my mimosa. Later we found out that they charged for every soda without telling us that they would charge for each like they told us they would charge for an extra shot for the bottomless Bloody Mary. The food was good, it always is at the Bel-Aire. The truly best thing they had going on is that there bottomless session is 3 hours, longer than most other restaurants. Once we finished our brunch, we tried to move to the pool, only to find out so many things that are wrong there. We wanted to see about a cabana, day bed, or lili pad. I found out that they charge for each, but not as a minimum spend, they charge a flat fee, drinks and food extra. Mind you, the cheapest rental was $200. Additionally, they wouldn't let us have our son there because they require children to reserve a cabana and they were all sold out. We did see many kids in the pool and it did not look like they were all in cabanas. Overall, the place was disappointing.

We always have an amazing time whenever we come here! The food is amazing, you can't go wrong with any of the rolls. We love the lily pad areas and the ability to stay right by our stuff while still enjoying the pool. Service is always fast, Jay is the absolute best and always makes sure we're taken care of and having the best time. We make it a point just to come back and see her :)

Bel-Aire Backyard is such a beautiful venue! It's located at the Durango Casino. It's easy to get to from Valet. My friends and i immediately beelined to the bar because why not? We were instantly greeted by Nicky at the bar. Nicky not only gave us recommendations On which cocktails to get but we were excited that we can get Mojitos at the pool. She also recommended the sushi yacht since there were a few of us. We will definitely be back to visit because Nicky mentioned Adult nights swim on Fridays and the service was great and friendly. The place is a complete vibe.

Went to check it out after friends had been raving about the place. Had a wonderful time, food was absolutely delicious and service was even better. My wife and I were served by a young lady named Lexi who was five star five diamond. She had excellent recommendations, especially since my wife and I have food allergies and restrictions, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. She was friendly and made our date night wonderful! When we come back I hope Lexi is our server again!

OVERCROWDED & OVERPRICED, Would rather go to RedRock. Servers were great, food was delicious but there's just one pool and it's warm. It's more of a club in my opinion

Bel-Aire Backyard is such a fun, relaxing space! Everything we ordered delicious. The drinks were tasty. Our server was so sweet. We booked a daybed and had such a fun time. Definitely will be coming back here again!

This is a beautiful place. Staff needs to get up to speed cocktails food service was very slow even had to ask for a pen to sign my check. I will be back but I got my fingers crossed that service will be what Vegas expects.

Bel-aire backyard aka the Durango pool is so beautiful and relaxing. We spent the day on one of their poolside and in pool daybeds. The service, the food, the drinks, and the ambiance were all amazing. It doesn't feel like you're at a local casino. We will definitely come back and try a cabana next time!
