There's a lot of restaurants here but the parking is something. I recommend you look at the peak hours & times on weekends before going if you want to find parking.

Food is from one of the restaurants on this strip, and everything was sooooo goood!!! The desserts are from a Dragon Ball Pop up shop, which was really nice also! Enjoyed the atmosphere greatly.

Attention Parents: This plaza tends to attract noisy cars and unpleasant smells, especially at night. The security staff seemed unwilling to intervene in certain incidents, so it may be best to keep children away from this area.

The Bellaire food street management of the square is very poor! There are often modified cars in squares and Upstairs parking lot making noise in the middle of the night.!!! It’s very noisy! There are often homeless people, drug addicts and gang fights every day. Everyone comes to this square! Many people are afraid to go here! OMG Really bad!!!

Great dining experience. Seasoning was perfect and the food stayed hot! Best fried rice that I had for a long time! All the dishes (classic beef, kimchi chicken and salmon) we had are all tasty!

Pop fancy is an anime lovers dream with free retro arcades and delicious deserts that change with each theme. They've had Harry Potter themed nights as well as anime, super hero, 90s anime, and so much more. The area is lively and there is so much going on that you can feel the energy in the air. Their Instagram will tell you the different activities they have. If you love cosplay, anime, or arcade games this is definitely the spot!

Really cool place, the major downside is the wait times during the popup. I understand it was extremely busy, but it wasn't organized well. Waited in line a total of 4 hours, they only wanted to service the fast pass the last 2 hours I waited while I was literally at the front of the regular line next to the front door. If they fix their servicing of both lines better as well as limit how long people stayed in the shop they would've been perfect. Some guests stayed in the shop for 30+ minutes. Other than wait time the shop was amazing.

Yelp
This is an exciting and wonderful new plaza which is your destination if you want to be trendy and cool but you don't want to go to Dun Huang Plaza, which is where everybody else goes. It's way too busy, probably because some of the businesses that are here. The legendary chain Tiger Sugar of course, as well as another chain, Popfancy with their events and special exciting atmosphere, and Chonging Chicken Pot which everybody loves, and so many more. Don't forget Meet Fresh (a location we didn't enjoy) and Beardpapa's (mixed opinion, our friend works here but we've yet to see her here) and all the rest. There's plenty to explore here and all of it is trendy believe me. Intensely so... and very crowded. Chinatown in Houston is one of the most amazing Chinatown areas in the whole country. The western half of it is more "Vietnamesetown" and then there's also "Koreatown" a few miles north in Spring Branch, although there are some Korean gems here in Chinatown too! The heart of this area is the very lively Dun Huang plaza, although I Dun Huang out there as much as I used to. Ha. Ha. Bellaire Food Street has fast become the alternate heart of the area, and some nights seems busier than Dun Huang, although it's much smaller. The amount of incredible food and spectacular Desserts and Drinks that are in this area are second to none. It's like being in Queens. It does remind me of a more humid and more spaced out Flushing. The nightlife here in Chinatown is some of the best in all of Texas. The other highlight of the area is the Saigon Plaza, about a mile East of Dun Huang. I hope it's never demolished otherwise it'll be (sigh) gone. The best of the best in this area for food, the first 2 are unmissable: Lim's Chicken - the best Korean chicken you'll find anywhere, get the spicy original Xin Jiang - amazing western Chinese bbq, get lamb skewers and enoki mushroom Nguyen Ngo - incredible Banh Mi on croissants Thien Thanh - perfect banh cuon thit nuong - great Viet food Lee's - wonderful Banh Mi, spring rolls, and viet iced coffee Cocina Latina - best pupusas and tamales in town, on Club Creek East Wall - great Chinese meals indeed Fufu - not as stellar as the others, but Chicken Jalapeno is good, open very late The best food in this plaza specifically is Chongqing. And for drinks and desserts: Honestly, cross the street for Fuji for Boba though! Unless you fancy a Tiger Sugar of course. Now once you've tried all of that (and have gained 20 lbs), get back to me and I'll have more for you. It TX a long time to appreciate how great Chinatown in Houston is, but my question is, for all the cities that have done their own version of Chinatown, who'sdone it better than Houston? Exactly.

Yelp
I've been waiting for this strip mall to open since 2015. Soon after I saw businesses vacated from the former buildings, I began to notice something new coming up. I got excited with a sign announcing Bellaire Food Street opening in 2019. My heart was pounding when I saw store signs started to show up on the building mid last year. I remember when this modern mall started to build. I'd praise the genius who designed Bellaire Food Street. This space used to be 3 old fashioned apartment buildings. Now, a dozen of unique restaurants with a multilevel garage added an upgraded look to Chinatown's landscape. I complied a roster of current occupants. Let's start from the garage side: A1 - Fat Ni BBQ 胖妮烧烤 A3 - Soho Chicken A4 - 10 seconds Yunnan Rice Noodles 十秒到 云南过桥米线 A5 - Tom N Toms A6 - Popfancy Dessert Bar B - (coming soon) C - Pepper Lunch D - Chatime E - Chongqing Chicken Pot 重庆鸡公煲 F - (coming soon) G - Beard Papa's H - Migo Saigon Food Street I - Meet Fresh 鲜芋仙 This mall is perfect for my Chinatown Crawl UYE. I look forward to host an event https://www.ChinatownHTX.com/ChinatownCrawl in the near future. p.s. These restaurant placements are what I see today. I can edit this review within next 30 days.

Yelp
PARKING LOT IS TERRIBLE!! This review is for their parking. Avoid Parking on the right corner of meet fresh! If you don't want door dings, inconsiderate drivers, then better going to the parking garage. Haven't been in there yet, but everyone's trying to dive in the lot like a hot potato! We live in Texas, no one drives a smart car or extra compact car. The parking spaces are so tight, someone is going to get a door ding & probably squeezing your way of your car. If you have kids needing to get out in infant car seat good luck as well!

Yelp
Yasssssss~ another plaza addition to bellaire filled with goodies. Only issue here is the parking and the set up. There are plenty of good choices here when it comes to a variety of boba, dessert, and food, but the only issue is the parking lot. It's so cramped and limited that it's difficult to maneuver around and also to park. I would avoid this area during peak hours because the wait just to get to a parking spot is terrible. Other than parking the parking problem, I find myself here when it's not busy all the time. Definitely a great addition to bellaire.

Yelp
So many amazing options packed into one strip center! Love that you can try multiple places in one easy outing. Only a slight annoyance with parking - the lot in front of the shops is tight and the spots are narrow. Definitely recommend taking advantage of the adjacent parking garage to lessen the stress!

Yelp
This not about the restaurants/vendors itself but rather, the management who's in charge of the parking lot. Y'all, we live in Texas.Trucks, SUVs, and more trucks are what ppl drive here. Your Asian mommy will call you a dum dum if you buy a smart car or compact car. (Aside: friend boy got a Fiat and my mom called him a dum dum. Guess who was able to park with no issues? That dum dum) Greedy management made each parking spot width the bare minimum. It will be a fun dance to see how you can get out of your car. Everyone and their moms and their SUVs, trucks trying to squeeze themselves into spots marked compact will be cursing the day they decided to have a casual meal at Fat Mi or grab a coffee at Tom Toms. Your mom will call you a dum dum for wanting to have family dinner there and when you can't squeeze your momma's needlessly gigantic Mercedes SUV into the tiny, tiny spot guaranteed to nick someone's car or give you an idea of how much weight you've gain when you can't open the door wide enough to get out of the driver seat. So you end up going to a different restaurant with a more generous parking lot while your not-so dum dum friend boy sits leisurely at Bellaire Food Street. Losers, we're all losers: the customers trying to park and getting dinged on the pole leave in frustration, the vendors who loses the customer just bc said customer couldn't get out of their car. Unless you're the guy with a smart car. He ain't no dum dum.
