Stumbled on this hidden gem one night while craving pizza—and wow, what a find! Bellatrino is a small, hole-in-the-wall spot located inside Dallas Marketplace and stays open late (until midnight), which was perfect for our late-night cravings. There was only one worker holding it down when we arrived, and she was an absolute powerhouse—managing the oven, taking our order with a smile, and making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. The pizza came out fast and piping hot. We ordered the Margherita pizza (16") and it was so good—fresh, flavorful, and just the right size to share among the three of us. If you're in a bigger group or extra hungry, go for the 18". There are a bunch of little shops surrounding the area, though most were closed by the time we arrived. However, there was a cozy little pub next door that had a lively vibe and made for a great shared common space. We enjoyed our pizza there before heading out—great atmosphere all around. Highly recommend if you're in the area and want great, wood-fired pizza with heart.

Google
Service was great and the cashier was super helpful with helping us pick a pizza and even got one of his coworkers to help out when we asked about one he hadn’t personally tried yet. We decided on the pancetta & fig which i thought was a great balance of sweet and salty. Would definitely recommend to others to check out!

Burnt pizza, strong burnt taste. I purchased their large pizza for our family $37. I am not a picky eater and have eaten alot of pizzas in my lifetime. Four of us each had a slice and tried to push through the burnt taste. I couldn't get past the burnt taste and tried to rinse out the taste with a Coke. I told the manager about it and she said she couldn't refund us. I didnt want a refund. I just wanted a pizza that didn't taste burnt. I was told that is the way they are made and couldn't do anything about it. She did offer to contact the manager above her to see if they could make us another one. We waited 10 minutes but didn't hear back. She did offer me a soda, which I didn't need. She did bring us a slice of cake. It was a nice gesture but it didn't solve the issue of our burnt tasting pizza. We ran into some friends there who recommended their pizza and I believe our incident was isolated. Problem was that they didn't believe us. Perhaps if they would've tried a slice they would have seen the problem. I also noticed the cook putting a windex bottle in order area giving it back to cashiers. Hopefully cook didn't use it to clean area in contact with pizza, which could explain overly burnt taste. PS. We didnt request it well done as you stated in your response. And there was 2/3 of the pizza left over. Nice try

Google
Great pizza place in the farmers market. Their wood-fired napoleon style pizza was great. I had the arugula and prosciutto pizza and it was delicious. Definitely recommend coming here for lunch or dinner!

Google
Posting this to celebrate the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Go anywhere else at the farmers market for food. The fact this was over $30+ after drinks & tax is insane. I truly think I could make a better pizza from scratch…at this point, even a frozen pizza would be better than what we paid for. The quality, taste, and toppings were gross…. I didn’t even feel comfortable trying a piece of the Margherita pizza.

Google
Had the pleasure of meeting Natalie today. She was so kind and made great suggestions on toppings. The pizza is amazing!

Google
The Dallas farmers market has a lot of great food options but this is my favorite! Preston was super kind and helpful with his service, short wait time and great wood fired pizzas. They also have my favorite salad dressing in their house salad the red wine vinaigrette. This is my first time here and definitely won’t be my last!!

Google
One of the employees was passing out sample in front of farmers market. My wife and i loved it so much, we went and got two pies of four cheese pizza. It was absolutely delicious.

Yelp
Who would have thought I would find such a delicious pizza at a Farmers Market? Thankfully they were handing out miniature slices, and of course I partook! I ordered the Four Cheese, white pizza. I am usually more traditional, but I could not resist the taste! Everyone working here was upbeat and super personable. It gave the place a great vibe as they interacted with the customers. Delicious pizza, fun staff, great ambience, what's not to love about it?!

Yelp
my partner and i were wandering the farmer's market when an employee of this restaurant offered us a sample of their four cheese pizza. the first bite is what sold us into ordering from here. the staff was extremely kind and welcoming. we ordered a small margherita pizza with a side salad. it was baked in an authentic oven & was served fairly fast. the crust was crispy and fluffy. the flavoring of the sauce was delicious. the components of the pizza meshed very well together. i loved how plain the salad was. overall, if i was ever in town, i would definitely come back. everything was very delicious and i was pleased with my order.

Yelp
I ordered a chicken parm sandwich from here and was disappointed. Perhaps my mistake was choosing something that wasn't pizza. The sandwich was served on a round, hamburger type bun, as opposed to a sub-type roll, and the chicken itself was very dense. I was hungry, so I ate it, but I definitely wouldn't order it again.

Yelp
Good pizza located in the marketplace. Pretty fast definitely considering it is generally busy. Seating is right in front of it or around the corner in the entrance area.
google avatar

Abbie C.

Yelp
We got a small inferno pizza. The pizza had nice cheese, but the crust was very plain. The overall flavor blended well together. Their desserts are very expensive. The carrot cake and cheesecake we looked at was priced a little over $10 for one slice and the size difference was significant.

Yelp
Easily some of the best pizza I've had since moving to the metroplex. The pizzeria is located inside the permanent building portion of the Dallas Farmers Market ful of various vendors. They hooked me with a free sliver of the cheese pizza they had circulating as a sampler and I had to find the source. I was with my niece's, one of whom is a notoriously picky eater, and everyone loved Bellatrino! A light crispy crust with flavorful, fresh toppings, of course it's a hit! The pickiest of eaters hoovered her pepperoni slices down, and we ended up ordering extra pizza to take home. Service was pretty unremarkable, just okay, but the indoor part of this market is hectic whenever I'm here. Tip: if you can't decide, you can order half toppings. I like the half pepperoni and half marguerite but there's something for everyone. I now patronize every time I'm at Dallas Farmers Market, consistently great quality pizza.

Yelp
Stopped in after a concert at Southside Ballroom. It was after 10:30, so we weren't sure if we would be served. The lady took our order, a 16in Margherita pizza, and had it out to us within 20 minutes. We also had the tiramisu, it was good! It's located inside the market & I wish we would've caught it during the day. So cute! Pizza was delicious, could've cooked maybe a minute or so more to be a bit more crispy, but the sauce was very flavorful.

Yelp
Earlier I had been visiting Dallas Farmers Market for lunch, and someone was walking around offering samples of their 4 cheese pizza. We were not expecting all the flavor coming from what seemed to be a simple cheese pizza. So after picking up my wife from jury duty, I took brought her just so she could try it! So glad we did, freshly baked was so much better... We will have to visit next time we're in Downtown!

Yelp
One of my favorite pizza places! I recommend the margarita pizza! The mozzarella, basil and sauce taste so fresh! I've only ordered onsite at the Farmers Market location once, but have had deliveries from here more. Parking at the Farmers Market location can be a pain, so for me deliveries work better. The pepperoni is a classic option, but I really enjoy the pancetta and fig, too!
google avatar

Caroline Z.

Yelp
Inferno Pizza, Rocket Prosciutto Pizza, and Ravioli The pizzas here are spectacular. Both the inferno and rocket prosciutto were unbelievably good and somehow lasted me many many meals. The ravioli is kinda just alright
google avatar

Bruce K.

Yelp
They got me with a sample, probably a pizza that someone ordered and never came back for? Regardless, it was delicious and had a perfectly crunchy crust. So I was hooked. After I found a seat at the nearby 2nd Tap, I came back and ordered a pizza. Meatball, small. It took about ten minutes and then I returned to pick it up. Cheesy, meaty, crunchy, delicious. Perfect with a pilsner at the beer bar! [Review 787 of 2024 - 543 in Texas - 21818 overall]

Yelp
Honestly, best pizza in DFW area by a mile. Comparable to mid NYC at an 8 rating. Reminded my team of Connecticut but the best in the area. Got the Marg and was a little floppy but that's the only complaint. I forgot what good pizza was supposed to taste like after having Zalat and Pizzana but this brought that feeling back.

Yelp
My daughter said this is the freshest pizza and so delicious. Highly recommend a trip to the Dallas farmers market.

Deepshika T.

Yelp
Trinity is such a great server, she's so awesome! I would definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
this place makes you leave them a 5 star review for a discount ?? and then ask you for a tip but their employees do not receive it !!! dont leave them tips it goes to the owners

Yelp
Simply Delicious! Soft Neapolitan crust Fresh ingredients Heavenly Cheese - it is oh so gooooood

Yelp
I'd never heard of this place before but I was in the mood for pizza. I really should have asked for a slice instead of a mini pizza. I was told that they didn't have anything smaller than a small. Well, the Small was much bigger than I wanted and the price almost made me faint. I know this is downtown Dallas and I get that prices are high but $19 for a small pizza is slightly outrageous. Thankfully it was very good and I was able to get another meal out of it. And the staff was really nice. Next time if I'm in the mood for pizza, I'm opting for a slice instead of a whole to hopefully avoid the sticker shock. They had a lot more on their menu than just pizza though, so I may try something else. Variety is a good thing!

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing, so fresh so delicious!! Highly highly recommend it for everyone to try. I had the four cheese, and if you are a cheese lover this is the pizza for you!

Yelp
Well it was slow for a weekday and we were the only order in. After 20 mini tree we asked about our order and the cashier said "oh guess we lost your order"! No apology and no urgency for anything. What bad business practices from start to finish. No thanks for us !! Never got our pizzas and sandwich and never got an apology either
google avatar

Yelp
saw how delicious pizzas look and customers faces look satisfied. Lea the cashier on Monday Labor Day showed a different attitude. She's abrupt when I asked the difference between linch size or small size of pizza. Same she said. When a couple asked her, she explained with patience. The other worker has a professional attitude. Pizza was good btw!

Yelp
The best pizzeria Napolitana I have had in a long time. The inferno with sausage was spicy and flavorful. Perfectly cooked. Highly recommended!

Janet P.

Yelp
The pizza was amazing And we had great service by Ryland, he was polite, and on top of it.

Yelp
At Bellatrino I ordered the 12" margarita pizza and it was quite tasteful. It wasn't anything out of the normal but everything was done perfectly with every bite. The basil also was very fresh. Would come back.

Yelp
In downtown for a convention, I was looking for a quick place to pick up pizza on the way out of town. I really love the food at The Farmers Market building. Growing up, I loved the old farmers market and I am pleased with the reimagining of the historic space. Anyhoo, I called and ordered a 16" pepperoni + pepperoni rolls. The guy was so nice and pleasant, really helpful. It was ready when I arrived, so I paid and drove home. A chunk of pepperoni roll was absolute heaven as I fought traffic on I-30. The pizza looked very minimalistic, so I wasn't sure there would be much flavor. But there was! It was really good! And not so heavy that you feel like crap after eating it. Highly recommend! Parking was easy in and out. Really a perfect stop to pick up a meal on a busy weekday!
google avatar

Malik M.

Yelp
Best brick oven pizza I've ever had. I ordered the inferno and I couldn't believe how great the flavor of the crust and salami was on the pizza. The mozzarella pull was great and had great seasoning on the whole pie as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Finally found the perfect piece of pizza in Dallas. The dough is fresh and still slightly soft. The crust is chewy. The cheese is so fresh it is stretchy and you need to use your fingers to tear it away from your mouth. Yummy!

A A.

Yelp
I had really high hopes for this place, but it fell far short of my expectations and the hype around it. I went for a classic margherita. It lacked the charred bread taste and was too doughy without even the slightest crisp. You can see underneath that there wasn't any leoparding either. It just tasted sub-par and was unimpressive, and this is after having driven over there once in December around the holiday season when it was disappointingly closed, although my online order initially went through, and they weren't listed as closed, and then coming back again to give it a shot. I think Cavalli Pizza is much better.
google avatar

Michele D.

Yelp
First of all the staff is amazing, kind personable and accommodating. The food is so delicious as well. Now i ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich and it was perfect from the cheese to the bun to the chicken and sauce. The sandwich was so fresh and delicious i couldn't stop eating it. I also got the cannolis and they were perfect as well. I was not disappointed in anything at all. I will definitely be back and will be getting some pizza as well.
google avatar

Sumi J.

Yelp
Best pizza ever!!!!!! The tomato sauce is so savory. The crust is thin but not flimsy. The pizza was done in less than 10 min. I will fight with parking just for this pizza!

Yelp
Freshly Made-To-Order Neapolitan Pizzas right in the center slot of Dallas Farmers Market. Having tried many, this is by far my favorite in Big D! Instantly hooked I am with Bellatrino's "Four Cheese". Not pretty to look at, but on first bite, beautifully burnt and tasty was their crust, and, marvelous were the ooey gooey cheeses - YUM! Service was fast and efficient. Hard it was to read the menu board. Lucky in making the right choice and jaded I am now with their "four cheese". Time will tell if I try anything else here next - HA! CHEERS!
google avatar

Trina W.

Yelp
Located inside the market. Tried the inferno 9in. pizza that's topped with sauce, soprasatta, spicy sausage and mozzarella. Called in the order for pick up and it was ready super quick. The pizza was good, little burnt on the bottom but the actual flavor of the toppings were tasty. The parking can be a little tough on the weekends but during the week it's not too bad.

Yelp
You know what, I'm giving the pepperoni pizza a 5/5. It's fresh and damn good pizza. We ordered over the phone and paid at pickup. Best served hot so we nuked it in the microwave since we arrived later than expected for pickup. Love the crust. Love that the pepperoni isn't greasy. Love the fresh mozz. Only thing missing for us? More mozz. It was sad that some pieces had empty spaces only filled with fresh tomato sauce. Maybe that's the authenticity of actually handmade and hand tossed pizza, maybe I just like a lot of cheese. We fixed this with loads of parm. Bon' appetit *chefs kiss*
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
Delicious Neapolitan style pizza the dough was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside the sauce was fresh, just simply a very good pizza
google avatar

Hajir A.

Yelp
The guy who took our order was not friendly and unwelcoming. Not sure how they can win customers by having this guy taking orders. We asked about what's in their famous pizza due to allergies and said to look at the menu. We barely can read the tiny writings on the menu so we just went with the basic margarita and was alright.
google avatar

Gabrielle E.

Yelp
Simply put, 10/10 Neapolitan style pizza. They currently have a great weekday $10 lunch deal with a 9" pizza, side and a drink. Surprised by the 3.5 stars. Had several different pies from here and I'm always more than happy with how they turn out. Owner is around most days and staff always provides quick and polite service. Farmers market has plenty of seating if you're planning to enjoy your food there. I took time out of finishing my lunch from there to post this bc it's that good and should be recognized as such- if you're looking to support a local business this is the spot.

Yelp
I had a Groupon so we had to order something. My husband likes pizza that has veggies and meat. There was no pizza on the menu that came close. I picked an offering; then I ordered anchovies, too. They turned out to be the worst anchovies ever for pizza. So .... The young lady at the counter couldn't have been nicer. But unfortunately this counter service restaurant needs two people up front on busy Farmer's Market weekends. One to take orders and one to send them out. She can't be two people. Eventually she has to make somebody wait and that makes her a little tight. I'll never know if I could have ordered all of the appetizers and salads on the menu. I do know that they didn't have all the sandwiches on the menu. A cold choice was in a cold case that she pointed to up against the wall. Hmmm. Pre-made. The hot one was sausage and something else. Not really what I wanted. Now the pizzas offered are many. Many. Most average 4 ingredients with 2 sizes and no pizza higher than $14. I settled on the Inferno. A pizza with soppressata, Jimmy's Italian Sausage, Fresh Mozzarella and Chili oil. The large was $14 plus $1 for the added anchovies. The anchovies turned out to be salad anchovies. A pickling brine, bright and almost sweet - not salty - assailed my nostrils and the flavor did not go well with the salty meats. I ended up scraping the mushy anchovies off of the pizza to try and enjoy it. My husband definitely hated it and the floppy not crispy but still burnt bottom crust. The top crust rimming the pizza was soft bread, slightly charred and tasty. It just wasn't meant to be. They look like they're doing a banging business on weekends; concentrating on cranking out pizzas with minimal ingredients at affordable prices. They could work on that bottom crust, though, and get a better anchovy for sure.

Yelp
YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2017 - PART 3: 62/100 Dallas Farmer's Market: 4 of 4. This review is mainly about the pizza. We had a group of peeps who decided to do a "pot luck" type of meal here at the DFM. So everyone went their own way and it was no surprise that someone ended up getting something from here. Can't go wrong with pizza, right?! They had a pizza on display... ... and that's exactly what we got. The only difference is our pizza was hot. They didn't skimp on the pepperoni or the cheese. (And boy was that cheese creamy!) The crust was doughy and crispy at the same time. Every bite was pretty delish! Whoever had it enjoyed it - we emptied out that box pretty quickly. (Can't comment on the cost or the service since I wasn't the one who made the purchase.) But yeah... can't go wrong with the pizza!

Jada G.

Yelp
Located right inside the food hall within the Dallas farmers market is a very tasty pizza place. All the pizzas take about 90 seconds to cook because they are wood fired and its gives them a little char on the crust. We ordered the Italian sausage & mushroom pizza, the fresh mozzarella on it was DELICIOUS. I noticed that they had lobster ravioli on the menu, maybe i'll get a chance to order that the next time.
google avatar

Rich R.

Yelp
Damn I love Neapolitan pizza done right. This place was legit. We had the margarita pizza and it was everything i wanted in a pizza. Slight charring on crust, generous cheese and great flavor.
google avatar

Lewej W.

Yelp
Such a good spot mixed amongst the other great spots in the Dallas farmer's market! I order via the Ritual app during their $1 lunch promo. I had the 9" inferno pizza which is the perfect personal size pizza. The spice level isn't as high as you'd think from the name. It's more of a little kick (no Elaine Benes ) on the backend thanks to the spicy sausage and soppressata. The crust could also be crispier. Most of my ingredients kept falling off and by the last slice, the bottom crust was soggy. These are somewhat small trade offs given how great the flavors are! Will visit again and likely have the inferno again.
google avatar

Christy M.

Yelp
The pizza was made fresh and exceeded our expectations in terms of flavor and size. The pizza was good enough to share with 4 girl friends along with other snacks from the neighboring restaurants.

Joe M.

Yelp
Best Pizza in the DFW! The staff is great and the pizza is amazing. I eat a lot of pizza but this hands down is the best pizza I've ever had. Also tried their spaghetti and it was delicious. Very clean place and great quality food
google avatar

Richa T.

Yelp
We came here the other day in the food court and found this place a -okay Pros: + The variety is incredibly large - they have such a huge variety + Decent portion sizes + Slow service - there wasn't a crowd, but it still took over a half hour to have our food ready. Cons: - Price is a bit expensive for the quality of the pizza you are getting.
google avatar

Alena M.

Yelp
I'm very very disappointed the food I got ! I ordered delivery pay 40$ and I aspect something nice. Food was cold Looks ugly and inedible. I ordered Ravioli... bad Meat lasagna...very bad. I would love to get my money back...

Natalia D.

Yelp
My top pizzas in town! Absolutely love them. My favorite is the marg also the staff in super cool and friendly
google avatar

Yelp
Great pizza every time. Ordered mozzarella/tomato as a side. Love that it is so close. Customer service is wonderful. Staff cares.

Yelp
When the child wanted pizza, this place fit the bill. The lunch special was a good deal with most pies being $9 already. Had the Rocket e Prosciutto pizza and 4 cheese. The crust was nice and crispy. The prosciutto though could have been cut up a little more to evenly distribute across the pizza. It did seem to take lot of time to get the pizzas we ordered on a slow day. That is the only complaint. Cashier was very friendly and accommodating. If we're in the area, this will definitely be an option.
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
Delicious food that we wish had been better explained ingredient-wise. If it had our diner who ordered the mushroom ravioli could have finished them. BUT -- the other folks at the table tried the raviolis and found them to be tender, filled with a flavourful filling, and dressed with what we thought was an excellent Alfredo sauce. Our sensitive-palated person detected Gorgonzola in the dish, which is way too strong for her. Unfortunately they ran out of pizza dough, but the pizza offerings looked delicious :) We will be back to try the pizza next time, which is cooked in a woodfired oven. 4 very solid stars!!
google avatar

Marvella C.

Yelp
The service was ok... the pizza wasn't crisp as I like from a brick oven... the sauce was pretty good... they weren't stingy with toppings. Wasn't amazing but I'd go back one day because the sauce was good and I think another baker could make it really good.
