"A fairly new addition to downtown Bellevue, this bright and airy cafe serves classic espresso drinks as well as a number of specialty brews, like the spring time latte and pink sky, that benefit local and international charity organizations. There’s also an assortment of tasty grub suitable for various dietary restrictions, such as acai bowls, salads, and gluten-free quiche." - Maggy Lehmicke

My go-to are their breakfast toasts! I like the beet one and the avocado of course and the salmon. Actually, all their toasts are pretty good! What I like about this Cafe is that they have hemp milk which I enjoy and hard to find this milk alternative at local cafes. Indoor/Outdoor seating is spacious. Great little neighborhood cafe!!

Amazing breakfast place with amazing vibe! Decor was really warm and friendly! For the breakfast - we really enjoyed the pink avacado toast - it well presented and was one of the best toasts we've had around the area. On the other hand, Coffee was decent. Parking is inside the building and they validate parking for 2 hours!

Honestly when I came here, I thought it would be the typical aesthetically pleasing cafe with decent food. What I got instead was beautiful and comfortable, clean space to meet with friends, amazing customer service, delicious drinks, and a filling breakfast. Came with a friend around 9:30 on a Sunday and the place was already packed, so make sure to go early or on off hours if you wanna stay there! I ordered a PNW Toast, sub the cream cheese with ricotta (the barista was so nice about this), and a Home for the Holidays Latte (condensed milk, cinnamon, cocoa and clove (also part of their Charity Drinks Line where they donate a % of their proceeds to a specific charity!)). We were told our stuff would be ready in about 20 minutes, but it honestly came within 15. My toast was a lot bigger than I expected and had a satisfying crunch, and the smoked salmon wasn't too salty either. The fruits seemed fresh and were sweet. Overall, very filling meal with a coffee that I attempted to copy at home, but was unable to make quite as delicious. Will absolutely be coming back.

2nd time here based on the PNW Toast I had the 1st time. I ordered with extra salmon. So so tasty. I can only speak to the food as I did not get coffee this time or last time. The first time I had the GF biscuit in the display because I recognize it from years ago going to Bluebeard in Tacoma. I think they are sourced from Macrina. Anyways back to the toast - I don’t know where they get the salmon. I’ve had smoked salmon a million times but never this good. Maybe because it is sitting atop the best cream cheese I’ve also ever had, then drizzled with lemon and sprinkled with seasoning/herbs. Service is little slow just to get toast so don’t come in a rush. Sit and enjoy the flavors.

Pitaya bowl tasted amazing. Clean, open space. We’ll need to come back for the waffle as we missed the time cutoff. Service was super friendly, but it took quite a long time to prepare… worth the wait, but seemed odd it would take so long.

Gluten free waffles are INCREDIBLE!! Had a cortado, coffee was perfection. Loads of food options, including gluten free bread and granola so plenty of brunch choices for me! Can’t wait to come back again.

Very slow service, ordered when place was as good as empty but still waited 27-30 minutes for a toast (arrived cold) and some oatmeal (arrived luke warm), meaning coffees were cold or gone long before food arrived. Taste of food was fine, just a tad bit expensive for some oatmeal. Coffee was not that good to me, with clear liquorish notes - but that is personal preference.

Decent coffee. Ambiance is below expectations. Great Instagram-able dishes. Tasty as well.

Yelp
environment was fantastic. we had a 5 course menu and the dishes were all fantastic. the Unagi Brioche Delight was the highlight of my dinner. the desert Panna Cotta was not as good as everything else. service and environment was far above my expectations. looking forward next opportunities to come.

Yelp
This cafe is kind of off the beaten main Bellevue path, tucked in a commercial building across from Broiler Bay. Parking was underground and simple. It is paid parking. There is some limited free street parking on the west side of the building. Nice interior but like most restaurants these days, the chairs are really uncomfortable - metal and low. Those of us with infirmities will only be able to sit for a short time. They also have private rooms for rent and I saw a few people working on their laptops. Had a delicious mimosa along with the ACAI bowl and PNW toast. They have a variety of toasts and bowls. Both these dishes were delicious. I'd return to try more of their toasts. Prices not too outrageous plus it adds an additional breakfast/brunch place to Bellevue which is lacking in such restaurants.

Sally L.

Yelp
The cafe is relatively spacious with a decent amount of tables. Went on a rainy Monday and there were only two tables filled. Ordered the PNW toast. It was alright. I think the lemon zest was too much for me and overpowered the taste of the toast. It was filling. The tropical sunshine smoothie was tasting mostly like coconut. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't amazing and I wouldn't order this again. I like thicker consistency smoothies, but this one was very liquidy. I wouldn't be dying to come back, but I would be willing to try their other toasts if I were to come back.

Mei Jie W.

Yelp
Ordered a hot Americano, sommer sunshine, and berries toast. There was a lot of seating inside, outside, and rooms inside great for getting some work done. We ordered through the app and got 20% for our first order! It came out exactly at the time it said. Love that they also give back a portion to the community and host community events! I really enjoyed the Sommer sunshine breakfast sandwich. The croissant tasted freshly made and the garlic aioli was delicious. The berries toast with ricotta cheese, and hot honey was okay. I would've preferred the bread to be a little more toasted, but they definitely loaded up on the berries and ricotta cheese. It was not too sweet.

Alex N.

Yelp
Good place for brunch or a quick bite. There is plenty of seating and good service. My only complaint was that we waited 20 minutes to find out that they ran out of solid for the day but overall the food was good and refreshing. I would come back.

Shelby D.

Yelp
Cute cafe with delish coffee, yummy food (including vegan option - pink avo toast), and chill vibes.

Erin W.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday for brunch with my friend! It was a cute little restaurant that was perfect for friends to hang out at or for a person to work/study at as they also had 2 individual rooms that you could go in and work. The staff was friendly. I enjoyed the Spring Time Latte and the Pink Avo Toast. Parking was easy as I could park in the garage in the same building. Just needed to bring my license number, and Bellden Cafe would validate my parking!

Andrew S.

Yelp
Bellden consistently has friendly service quality coffee and a clean store, maybe the only negative is they do put a lot of ice in their drinks but they taste delicious so I'll keep coming back

Michelle M.

Yelp
Super cozy ambiance, but limited seating. We got lucky and found a table for two. Ordered the avocado toast and the Pitaya Bowl. Both were really good; however, it took so long to place the order and get the food (about 45 minutes), we had to get them to go and eat them in the car. There was one register and the line was out the door -- not sure if they were purposely slowing the ordering process down to let the rest of the staff catch up or if this was normal. Just give yourself a lot of time if you plan to go.

Sunil N.

Yelp
Absolutely love the food and drink here. Bellden consistently has friendly service quality coffee and a clean store. Their drinks taste delicious so I'll keep coming back. Recommended

Yelp
By far the best coffee/brunch spot in this area. Absolutely love the food and drinks here. Top notch service and ambiance. It's perfect for getting work done or hanging out with friends, but most of all it's such a great addition to the community and I absolutely adore everything they stand for. Come by and try the charity drinks!

Dena F.

Yelp
Love Bellden Cafe. From their beverage and non dairy House made milk options, food, and all they do for the community - truly a fantastic business. Ordered the turmeric waffle yesterday and loved it (tho it could have been a bit warmer when I received it). Definitely will have this again.

Leo S.

Yelp
This place was a total delight! Great Coffee and great food! Good Service and awesome environment! If your in the area you gotta try it! The menu is pretty diverse and much larger than I imagined. They even have booze : ) We parked in the underground parking as there was very limited street parking around the corner. We paid for parking and found out they validate once we were in : ( oh well now we know for future visits. The prices were a lil high($40ish for 2 toasts and 2 coffees), but for what you get and the experience- it's worth it. Remember you get what you pay for in life. It appears they put a lot into their food. We got both a savory (avocado toast) and a sweet toast(sweet almond toast). The sweet toast was my fave! We also ordered the home for the holidays and and the spring time lattes. Both were real good, again I leaned toward the home for the holidays as it was sweeter and complimented the sweet toast better. The people there were real friendly and the layout was great. They even had conference rooms. Bring the meeting there. They have a refillable water station to get to own water. Restrooms were clean. All in all gotta say it was a great experience.

Katherine Y.

Yelp
-Pink avocado toast was delicious! Crispy edges with a soft middle on the bread. Lots of avocado and the pink hummus gave good flavor. Unique and enjoyed it! -Took 40 mins to get 2 toasts... -Berries toast was completely cold which is confusing why it took so long to get our food? It wasn't that busy. -Berries toast was underwhelming and dry. My bf hated it. Overall, food looks gorgeous but probably won't be back.

Vikram K.

Yelp
We tried multiple Toasts. They looked fancy, but taste was not good. We won't be coming back.

Chi N.

Yelp
Right in Main Street in downtown Bellevue. Parking lot next door. They validate for 2 hours. Just give them your license plate. So not pay for working before hand. Cafe was cute and quaint. Order first and then sit down at any open table. Buss your own table after you're done. everything we ordered was delicious. We had the Nutella muffin the Belgian waffle the ABC toast and the Mr. brioche sandwich and acai bowl. Also ordered a cappuccino. My kids loved it. Everything was flavorful. Presentation was beautiful slightly higher price but likely due to location. Great spot for brunch. Service was quick and friendly. They even help clean up some water. My kids spilled. self-service water station.

Yelp
This was our first visit today!! We were so happy to find this place on Yelp. Impressions: Food was so fresh and beautifully presented! It was a work of art and I took some pictures of our brunch. We ordered the açaí bowl, smoked salmon and cream cheese on delicious bread, and waffles. The food just melted in our mouths!! Ambiance: Hipster. Clean cafe. Roomy where you don't feel cramped. Service: Cordial. Polite. They don't answer their phone though which we thought was odd. Tried several times during their open hours. There wasn't even a recorded message. Parking: They validate parking. Be sure to learn where the garage is because it isn't that obvious and there are other garages in that area.

Vance L.

Yelp
Wanted to love this place but unfortunately the service is a bit slow. Not that many people when I was there but the server was working by herself and was the one making the drinks and heating up the food. Although there was 2 other people in the back I would assume could help her if there was just a few people out. Took about 15 mins from order to getting our two drinks. I know they have Coava coffee from Portland but was a bit disappointed in the coffee. I had a flat white and an iced pumpkin spice latte with homemade pumpkin spice puree and almond milk. Seemed a bit thick for coffee but after the ice melted it was not as thick anymore. Inside is nicely decorated to hang out, read a book or do some work.

Huong L.

Yelp
We been here a couple of times now and we have to say, overall it's a solid 4 star. 5 star: validated parking, staff are really nice and informative and knows what they are doing. 4 star: drinks are solid, we tried a couple of their charity drinks and have like them a lot. They also offer smoothies as well. 3 star: waffles were ok. We tried the buttermilk and the turmeric one and they were good, but nothing spectacular. Another 3 star is their takeout process. For people who dine in, they get a number after ordering, and can find a seat and wait for food to come out or their drinks to be called. But for the take out process, people just randomly stand wherever they can (place is not super big) and wait for the food to come out from the end, but the coffee drinks come from the other end... Overall, a good place, food does take a while to come out but aesthetic is nice

Sharon F.

Yelp
Cute cafe with a purpose. Some proceeds are given to various charities when you purchase their house drinks, and their coffee drinks are worth it! Tried the salmon toast with fruit, açaí bowl, and the GF fruit waffle. They can accommodate a party of six with the long table in the center of the cafe. There are 2 separate rooms to the side to do computer work as well. Parking is free for 2 hours below the cafe in the garage, which makes it easier to grab and go, or sit and stay.

Areej A.

Yelp
Yelp asked me if I recommend this place. My answer is yes without second thought. Amazing service, beautiful cafe and holy moly the food is so good. Coming from a gluten free picky eater :-) I have finally found my cafe in Bellevue :-)

Geneva S.

Yelp
Still thinking about this incredible breakfast toast I had over the weekend. It was perfect. Delicious. Wouldn't change a thing except I would have gotten a third piece! Sat outside under their awning and enjoyed!

Julienne P.

Yelp
Simply stated, one of the best cafes you will ever go to - food, drink, people and atmosphere. Tons of gluten-free options (that are actually delicious). This amazing cafe is easy to miss as it sits in an apartment complex and doesn't seem like it would be much from the outside, but let me tell you it is one of the best I have ever been to and I have been to cafes around the world!!! After trying it once, I went there 2 more days in a row because I was addicted and had to try more! Then I went a few more times in the next week taking friends since I wanted them to experience it! I picked a drink off their charity menu which I modified to have oat milk and it blew my mind (which never happens), decided to have the avacado toast with it (modified to use the gluten-free bread) and it had so much flavor and the texture was amazing! Whatever avacado toast you have had does not compare to this, I promise you. On another visit I tried their waffles - soooo good! My friends tried their different toasts and were equally blown away. I quickly discovered, this is one of those places where everything on the menu is good which is so fun since you can keep trying something new and never be disappointed wishing you would have stayed with your "safe" choice. It is always so clean (including the bathrooms) and I love all the real plants inside - the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, especially with the friendly staff. They are really focused on charity and it is clear in everything you see on the menu and all the products they sell - so cool to give business to a place with awesome people, yummy food and drinks and who cares so much about giving back. I am so excited for you to try it! You'll love it!

Kayla D.

Yelp
Love this place, love Claire! Will always support when in town , a highly regarded recommend!!!

Mike C.

Yelp
This place is awesome. Stopped and grabbed a coffee. Good friendly staff, highly reccommend.

Jeff C.

Yelp
Tumeric and vanilla...in a waffle? Do those things even go together? Only one way to find out. First bite...interesting...a little tangy...a little sweet. The berry compote on top adds a earthy counterpoint to the tang of the tumeric. Yes, I like it! Not as exotic of a flavor combination as I originally imagined. Kudos to Bellden Cafe for having the courage to try something new. The location is a nice place to sit with large windows. Their WI-Fi connection is decently fast with a 36 Mbps download speed, because unfortunately getting some work done is a major reason why I'm often shooting in a cafe. Finally the staff is kind and attentive. All of their other reviews are right on. I'll be back!

Jinny C.

Yelp
Cute cafe with a community mindset! They donate 10% of all proceeds and have specialty charity drinks as well. I ordered the pitaya bowl which was tasty and light in flavor without being too sweet. It was a good portion and pretty filling with the granola. I got the let me love you latte, which is a orange/cinnamon latte but the flavor was a bit too mild. They have table seating but it got really crowded on Saturday so you will have to anxiously look around for open tables while placing your order.

Helene L.

Yelp
Parking Garage on 105th - slight up a hill and turn left immediately into garage. Have license plate number ready for 2hr validation. Go inside, to right of paying area there is an iPad you enter your license. Food and drinks are solid. Presentation of food is pretty. Ambiance is lovely. Not too loud. Plants everywhere. Service- nice, straight forward. Got my order in a timely manner. Location- on Main Street. Parking see above Value - fair Recommend - yes, if you're in the area.

Alex C.

Yelp
Went here twice to do work and was not disappointed both times. Got the chai latte with a shot of espresso and it tasted amazing as well as being consistent both times. The prices are still pretty much Seattle prices but nothing against them for that. Their Wi-Fi is good which already puts it above some other cafes where the internet is a little shaky. There are two rooms which you can slide a door to make it more private and seems suitable for 5-6 people if you have a group project. There are outlets in that room but I didn't really see too many outlets in the main area unfortunately Still great place to work and there are other people also working there so it gives that vibe iykyk

Mia K.

Yelp
I try to go to Seattle at least once a year because one of my best friends live there and one morning, we wanted to get some breakfast before doing stuff for the day. I really enjoy Bellevue and it's always nice to see more buildings being built with every visit. This cafe is a great addition and was fantastic to go to. They offer light breakfast options but also some a lil heartier if you are feeling more hungry. I didn't think my coffee drink I ordered was the greatest but it did its job and got be caffeinated. I ordered the sweet almond toast with a side salad. I was not expecting that much almonds on it, but I also didn't know what to expect. The toast was fantastic though! I really liked how it was light and was simple but in a good way! My friends liked what they ordered as well. This place was busy the whole time and wasn't too loud. So it was good noise. I really enjoyed this place and a lot of their food options they offer like toast, açaí bowls, and breakfast sandwiches. This place has good vibes and friendly workers! Definitely check this place out for your next breakfast place!

David C.

Yelp
Bellden Cafe is a cozy coffee shop in Bellevue that my friend took me to while I was visiting. I love that they have certain lattes on the menu that donate 25% of their proceeds to certain charities. I chose the "Home for the Holidays latte" that donates to the local Overlake Hospital. This latte is espresso, I subbed almond milk, condensed milk, cocoa, and cloves. The Bellden White Mocha, and "Let Me Love You latte" were really good also. The workers here are super friendly, and the vibes of this coffee shop are nice and cozy. If they ever want to expand, please bring a location to Houston, Texas please! I would definitely come back again whenever I'm in Seattle. Cheers!

Rebecca J.

Yelp
I decided to give this café another try as I hadn't been here in a few years. Let me just say that I am not impressed with the service. I stood here for three or four minutes before someone even greeted me and have now been waiting probably 10 minutes and still don't have my coffee, I didn't order anything it just seems. Everyone has been called in different directions with no one focusing excessively on the customers standing here waiting. Underwhelmed.

Jennifer K.

Yelp
First time here. The simple, bright decor was inviting. We ordered the matcha waffle, PNW toast and the açaí bowl. The waffle was delicious. It had some kind of berry compote on top and crème fraiche. It had just the right amount of sweetness and didn't need any syrup. My daughter enjoyed the açaí bowl. Not too sweet and lots of fresh fruit. It was cold and refreshing. The star was the PNW toast. So simple with just salmon and cream cheese but it was heavenly. Quality counts and this dish had it. Would definitely order it again. So great that they donate to local charities. I love supporting local businesses who give back to the community. It's also a woman owned business so that's an added plus in my book!

Krista T.

Yelp
New favorite place to get coffee and a açaí bowl!! Can't wait to come back to try a waffle or toast. This place is beautiful and the owner, Claire, is so kind. It's family friendly with high chairs available. Private conference rooms are available to reserve and look nice. They have validated parking available. Loved the macrina baked good options. Some of the drinks give extra money back to charity, which is cool. This location is great for walking to inspiration playground, downtown park, or Bellevue Square Mall.

Kasey G.

Yelp
Lovely coffee shop in Bellevue ! The staff is great, and they have free parking in their garage underneath. I had a pumpkin spice latte and they use real purée, I then had one of their toasts which was amazing. The açai bowl looked really good as well. I also love that some of their profits go to charity. All around amazing café, can't wait to go back

Jacq M.

Yelp
I went here bec I was invited to a Yelp elite event! I've visited this place once way back I think 7 or 8 years ago but I'm glad that I was able to visit it again bec I forgot how cute it was, so happy that they have retail parking for visitors. The food I wasn't able to try bec they ran out of freshly baked cookies but the charity coffee was delicious! It just took maybe 15 mins to prepare but maybe bec they had lots of customers too. The place or ambiance looked so cute for a coffee shop, it looks ig ready! What I liked about it too is that they accept service dogs.

Lola Y.

Yelp
Such a cute cafe, reasonably priced, and friendly service! Community minded owners are a huge plus. They donate 25% of their proceeds on "charity" drinks to local non-profits. Tried the Spring Time Latte and was pleasantly surprised how rich it was. The food looked amazing. Will be back to try! These types of cafes are hard to find nowadays. Lots of people with laptops working and enjoying food and drinks.

Tammy E.

Yelp
What a cute and cozy cafe - and with validated parking to boot! I had the opportunity to check this place out as a Yelp experience but of course wanted to try additional menu items. I was so impressed with the options and how kind everyone working here was. The space was busy and buzzing with people sharing time but didn't feel overly crowded. I enjoyed the ambiance and was in and out of there within about 12 minutes. Next time I will have a seat and stay awhile.

Smrithi S.

Yelp
We finally made it to Bellden Cafe for breakfast. I loved the interiors with all the plants. We got Pink Avocado toast, PNW Toast, Hot Cocoa and Mocha. We loved our drinks, it was among the best Hot Cocoa and Mocha we have had. The food was also great, we loved both the Pink Avocado toast and the PNW toast. The service is great too.

Phoebe C.

Yelp
This was the worst customer service experience we've had. I'm very disappointed because this was a cute cafe with good food. There was a lot of people and was told there would be a 25-30 minute wait, which was perfectly fine since we planned on working for couple of hours. However, we ended up waiting 1.5 hours for our food and almost an hour for our coffee. Halfway through waiting, a worker came to check in on our order so we were reassured, but then we ended up waiting longer. Our order got "lost in the system" which is confusing because the worker said they were making our food an hour ago. We tried to check up on our order status but no one would come to the counter. Fortunately we got refunded, but we will definitely NOT be coming again.

Yen D.

Yelp
Get the avo toast. Bread comes from Macrina bakery so I can easily recreate it at home. Would have loved to have it with a fried egg on top. Chocolate chip cookie was gooey since I asked them to heat it up. Didn't really care for the coffee drink since it was light it flavor and was more milk forward. Service was quick and the ambiance was very homey. Would be back if in the area.

Sammie C.

Yelp
I love it here! The coffee is great and they donate a portion of sales to local organizations. Service is great and while it does get busy and bustling, the ambiance feels safe and welcoming. Downstairs parking validation is available for 2 hours with a $15 purchase. I only wish they were open later!

Stacy S.

Yelp
Used to be decent, now super slow service (30+ min for a piece of toast on a non-busy mid morning), and coffee isn't great (also took 20 min for an iced latte). Gal made my iced latte hot and then poured over ice so completely watered down. Way too much sweetener. Just no sense of urgency at this place and they have 10 people working but no organization whatsoever and staff is not kind here

Sarah K.

Yelp
Chill environment and I had a nice time having brunch with friends, but not a fan of the food! I got the pitaya bowl, which was supposed to have dragon fruit and mango based on the menu but it didn't! And the portion was very small since the bowl wasn't deep. I very much prefer the same bowl made by jamba juice! If it wasn't because of the goods time I had with friends of probably give this a 2 star. I find it a bit overpriced and of low quality. I don't recommend the food. From the menu: Pitaya Bowl Pitaya (dragon fruit), mango, banana, melon, strawberries, house made granola, hemp seed, coconut and honey

Minna A.

Yelp
The springtime latte was not that good, I've had better honey lavender lattes before. But they DO donate part of the proceeds to charity, which I don't really see in a lot of cafes! The cookie though, was the worst part. It was crumbly and didn't taste great. HOWEVER, they have a cute ambience and would be a good place for a meet up!

Juz C.

Yelp
Nice experience. I got the home for the holidays latte and peanut butter cookies. They have validated parking for two hours but make sure to get it validated right away since the parking enforcer is so quick. We were just at the cafe maybe 10-15mins when we got back the garage the enforcer was checking the cars. The service was awesome! Also loved the nook inside where you could work. Overall definitely nice quaint place.

Ken S.

Yelp
Great find. Our new fav place in Bellevue! We split an asai bowl, and a sommer sunshine breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious! The latte was one of the best. The crew were super friendly. And it was nice that they contributed part of sales to worthy charities. A 5 star experience.

Iris P.

Yelp
I frankly don't understand the hype around Bellden. Yes, it's a cute cafe with friendly staff and nice lighting--a good place to catch up with friends--BUT it will leave you hungry if you're trying to get a brunch or lunch. The presentation is pretty but the portion sizes are small for the prices :/ Plus, the acai bowl was watery and lacked "texture." There isn't much variety or customizability in terms of toppings, fruits, and other add-ins like nut butters. Given the new cafes that have opened up in Bellevue in recent years, I would recommend going elsewhere!

Jillian L.

Yelp
Came here to get some work done and was really busy. I love the decor, it reminds me of a European cafe with the tiling and there's plants EVERYWHERE. The server was nice enough to ask me to transfer my drink to a to-go because they were closing and food looks delicious. I will come back to try the food.
