"Belle and Lily’s is an all-day, every day brunch restaurant that gives the meal a Caribbean twist. Look for conch fritters, fried parrot fish served with sweet plantains, and halal jerk chicken and buttermilk pancakes served here. Pair brunch with a passionfruit mimosa or order bottomless mimosas for $16 a person for 1.5-hour increments." - Beth McKibben, Sarra Sedghi

"Taking over what we vaguely remember was an old Blockbuster in a Chamblee shopping center and adding walls of framed green plants, Belle & Lily’s serves all our favorite Pan-Caribbean breakfast staples. We’re fans of the St. Lucian saltfish with subtly sweet and airy fried bakes. Bring some friends so you can also share other items like Jamaican ackee and callaloo and french toast made from coconut bread. The space never gets too packed, so securing a table for a mid-size party over the weekend will be easier than getting all your friends on board for that group trip to Negril you’ve been trying to plan since 2017. Just order a couple of sorrel mimosas, sink into a wall booth, and listen to the soca tunes while you wait." - nina reeder, juli horsford

The restaurant is in a shopping plaza with free parking. The decorations were beautiful. You are only allowed 1:30 at your table. The service was good since we went during the day for lunch and the restaurant was mostly empty. I loved my mango French toast it's huge. One friend had shrimp and grits and she found hair in her food. They took care of it and remade her food. They didn't really like the chicken wing appetizer. They also ate beef empanadas.

Walked in with no reservation 12pm on a Saturday and 3 of us were seated right away. FRESH ISLAND FOOD, nice relaxing atmosphere and friendly service. Ordered: Sorrel Rude Bwoy Saltfish & Bake Codfish Fritters Seafood Tostones Jerk chicken & Waffles I gave it 4⭐️ simply bc there was slim to NO saltfish in my SALTFISH dish. Just big, bold peppers and onions

Good Curvy Life

Google
Nice and tasty... I loved the bakes and the empanadas and the beef patty... I would have preferred a cream based sauce for the empanadas... And I really don't think saltfish should be served without ackee... 😂😂😂 Great music selections... Pretty comfortable decor... The mimosas were yummy! The service was good. I will definitely go back to try other menu items.

Due to my work schedule and the restaurant's operating hours, I waited months to finally try out this restaurant. I visited for brunch on a Sunday after church and surprisingly there was no wait for a seat, although I made a reservation ahead of time just in case. The interior gives a nice homey vibe and the staff is nice. The food was a bit underwhelming in my opinion. I ordered a mimosas carafe, beef empanadas, and Island Tings for my entree. The beef empanadas were tasty and my favorite part of the meal. The Island Tings entree fell short of my expectations around flavor. It wasn't nasty, just not as robust and flavorful (callaloo and eggs) as I hoped for. They were also out of turkey bacon. The passion fruit butter was amazing though.

Google
Overall it was a 3.75 for me. The food was good, the atmosphere was great, but the service was slow and a bit unorganized. We had to ask for a menu, water, and something else. This was not my 1st here but probably will be my last. Nothing against the place but the food to the price point isn't it for me! $86 est for breakfast for 2 is just Atlanta, Atlanting! Liquid Tax on soft drinks! 😳

Google
The food used to be delicious. I came a few times throughout the last two years, and everything was phenomenal. I returned again to get the same items, and it was just not the same. I really favored the pancakes, but now they are completely different. The first picture was from a past visit, and the second is the most recent. The flavor just wasn’t there how it used to be. The service was really good though!

Google
The portion was small for $20, and I was surprised by the 20% gratuity charge for a takeout lunch. On a positive note, the gentleman at the front was pleasant, and the ambiance was beautiful. However, the food lacked flavor the jerk chicken was just okay.

Wonderful little Jamaican/ Caribbean brunch place. Great to go with friends and family. Food and drinks taste great and the presentation and are beautifully presented.

Yelp
Cute brunch spot tucked in a plaza in the Chamblee area..easy to miss but glad I found this place! The decor & music was a vibe.. very chill. Good for a date or a simple girls brunch which is what I did.. Started out with a hibiscus mimosa..yummy! I then ordered the fried filet fish, creamy grits w/spicy herb sauce. The flavor was delectable just the right amount of spice.. even with the sauce on top, the fish held its crisp. My friend ordered an egg omelette w/home fries & side of mixed green salad. She added on French toast that was packed with flavor! 5 out of 5 I'm looking forward to trying out some of the other carribbean based dishes which is their specialty.

Yelp
The seafood tostones are bomb and I highly recommend you try them. The buttermilk pancakes are cake like and delicious. Soft and fluffy. I also drank sorrel which was good but I wasn't impressed with the whole red snapper. For the price ($36) I expected a much larger fish. It was also dry and over cooked. The plantains are also really good too- highly recommend! They seemed to only have 2 people working but after our appetizer came, our food came pretty quickly which was nice. There was a large group in front of us which probably delayed them a bit. The ladies seemed nice. Free parking in an open lot.

Yelp
The good: All of the food was good, from the beef patty to the jerk chicken. Our group came for brunch, this time i had jerk chicken but I've been more than a few times. The food is always good. We had craft mango and strawberry mimosas which were delicious. I love the aesthetics of the place, the art and ambiance is calm and fits the compact space. Area for improvement: Pretty small place and the wait staff require a bit of patience. At times you can tell the volume of guests overwhelmed the staff. Also it would help to be able to split checks. With technology today everyone shouldn't have to pull out calculators

Yelp
Was looking for yummy food after church and stopped in with my mom. The place wasn't too crowded when we came but they were starting to fill up by the time we walked out. We were greeted and quickly sat down. Service was great and they consistently checked in on us. Mom ordered the Ital Vital and I ordered the St. Lucian Breakfast. Everything was delicious. I wish the portions were a little bit bigger but I eat too much so that's my problem. Solid place for some yummy food!

Yelp
I had brunch here yesterday with my brother. Parking is ample and free in the shopping center lot just outside. The vibe here is cozy, welcoming, and beautifully Black. The food is authentically Jamaican with some more eclectic influences. I was surprised to see empanadas on the menu. The hosts were so kind, knowledgeable of the menu, and their services are tailored to ensure everything is to your liking. I started with the beef patty. I've actually had a real beef patty in Montego Bay and their version is very authentic. It was served hot and was truly savory. The Sorrell was the perfect drink to accompany my brunch as I love the taste and flavor of hibiscus. The spicy chicken bowl was so good and lives up to its name. I like it spicy, and if it doesn't make me couch at least once it ain't spicy enough. This dish surely understood the assignment. The chicken was tender and juicy. Black beans are my favorite and their were not too salty with the yellow rice. This was without question a dish made with love. And now for those damn amazing pancakes. These have got to be the absolutely best pancakes I've had outside of those my mom and wife make, and these might even rival theirs . They are crispy. Fluffy. Buttery. And they have the audacity to serve them deliciously with both warm maple syrup and a caramel sauce. I felt loved eating them. If I had to change one thing it'll be the wait for version things but they are a small establishment with a small staff. The food was certainly worth the wait. Check 'em out.

Yelp
Liked - Liked - Liked - Liked - Liked - Liked - Liked - Passionfruit Mimosa was delicious and balanced just right Spinach and Cheese Empanada.... Delicious!!!! The shell was so crispy and fresh and the filling yummy and seasoned! Mojo sauce that came with the dish was great Veggie Empanadas Service was good Quick To-Go was easy and fast Disliked / Disliked / Disliked / Disliked / Disliked / Disliked / Hey... they're growing.. but it's small in there. There isn't really any bar area. It was freezing outside so when ordering to-go it was a little be awkward. They have bongo's she told me to sit on... but... they're actual bongos so..... kinda shaky at first but I made it lol

Yelp
I'll start by saying that Belle and Lily's had been on my list to try for a while. I'd seen reviews here, on TikTok, and Instagram, so I was looking forward to trying it out. I recommended it to my friend for her birthday brunch, and she went with it. The restaurant is located in a strip mall on Chamblee Tucker, so there's lots of parking. We went to brunch on a Sunday, and were surprised that they weren't very busy. We did have reservations, but we had 2 reservations for our party since you cannot reserve for more than 6 people. We ended up with a party of 10 and originally, they did not want to seat the 4 people for the second reservation. They allowed us to sit near the entrance to wait, but it was awkward because they didn't let us add more tables from the empty space to accommodate the full party. There's fault on the people who didn't show up for sure, but it felt weird because we were essentially ignored even though we were sitting with the 6 people as they were getting served from reservation #1. There are no physical menus nor QR codes to scan to get to a menu. We were directed to go to the website and find the menu. Not the end of the world, but not convenient. The 6 people who were seated were told explicitly by our server "We need to get this party started because we have other parties coming". I understand having a time limit on reservations, but saying it this way felt impolite, bordering on rude. Now to the food: Jerk wings - the wings served looked dry compared to the images on the website, but the flavor was still good! Some sauce or extra "juice" would've gone a long way. Seafood tostones - tostones weren't fried too greasy, but the plantain wasnt smashed thin enough to get the true crispness that you expect. The seafood tasted very good though! Would recommend Big batty gal - very very fluffy pancakes. Good flavor, but they are super filling. St. Lucian breakfast - the bakes were very good (they're fried fyi). I love all types of bread - baked, steamed, or fried - so this was gonna be a winner no matter what lol. Empanadas - very flavorful! The sauce is very cilantro-y Peach lemonade was good. I love a flavored lemonade and this didn't disappoint! When it was time to settle the checks, we were told that only up-to-4 payments were allowed. This wasn't communicated at the beginning of the meal or anytime during. Reservations for parties up to 6, but only 4 payments/split. The server left the machine for our party to sort out the checks and walked away for 20+ minutes. She didn't attempt to offer any solutions, no assistance with how to calculate, just put the machine down and left us. The reservation and check system left a bad taste, BUT all the food was enjoyed by our party, so i'd like to give them another try - maybe solo or with a smaller party. I'll willing to try again

Yelp
This is my second time at belles and I will definitely be back ! They literally never miss ! They do tend to get busy on weekends so I recommend making a reservation. I never realized how much I love Caribbean brunch. They serve bottomless mimosas too! The wings on appetizer menu were just okay but the seafood tostones and pancakes were the bomb! But the best thing on the menu is the fried snapper omg !!! It was so good I was mad I didn't order one to go. The service was really good as well.

Yelp
Visited on a Sunday for brunch for father's day. We were checked in and seated. Our server, Fatima, came to the table and introduced herself. She was patient and able to answer all of our questions to help us make a decision. We ordered 3 bottled waters and the elixir mimosa, which was different but a nice, light flavor. We also ordered a chicken and cheese & spinach empanadas for our appetizer. We continued to look over the menu and asked our questions. We received our empanadas which were a good portion size. We preferred the sauce that came with the chicken empanada which had a little heat whereas ours was more of a vinegarette. It took them a while to come up with their entrees, lol, but in the end I settled on the Ital Vital with a side of bread, dad ordered the Rude Bwoi, and my sister ordered the Shrimp Kweyol with a side of grits. We also ordered the Hibiscus mimosa. We sat, talked, and drank while we waited for our food. Quite some time had passed by and we still hadn't received our food while some of the other tables had received theirs. Turns out there was a wifi issue which caused a huge delay. It would have been nice to know that. More than 30 minutes (at least) had passed and our food finally arrived. Rude Bwoi - snapper was smaller than we assumed and slightly overcooked. Flavor was good. Ital Vital - ackee and callaloo was really good and flavorful. The rice was slightly undercooked with little flavor. The side of bread was hard and stale. Shrimp Kweyol - cream sauce and shrimp were flavored well. The side of grits were way too salty and inedible. Hibiscus mimosa - needed a little sweetener which Fatima fixed by giving us a small serving of passionfruit to mix with it. I ordered the Big Batty Gyal to go for my husband. He said the chicken lacked flavor but the pancakes were cooked well and had a nice golden crust. Overall, food was ok. Service time could be improved. We enjoyed Fatima, she was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Lisa M.

Yelp
I didn't care for this restaurant at all. The food was tasteless and lacked flavor. The waitress was inattentive and not very personable at all. The ambience was nice and presentation was good, but that's about it! I won't visit again for sure!

Jasmine J.

Yelp
Was on the Yelp hunt for a good brunch spot, and came across Belle and Lily's. It's located in a Big Lots shopping plaza, and doesn't look like much from the outside, but we were certainly in for a treat! Our waitress, Fatima, was absolutely excellent and gave us great recommendations. First one was starting off with the seafood tostones, which were phenomenal! The tostones were fried just right and topped with marinated crab and shrimp. Yum! We also got a carafe of passion fruit mimosa, with the Ruddock Tings (peach, blueberry, and lime) to follow. I ordered the Rude Bwoi, which was fried whole snapper, along with a side of yellow rice. Talk about fried and seasoned to perfection!! I also tasted the silver dollar pancakes and mango French toast, both very tasty. We wanted to try everything, but our stomachs could only handle so much. So if you're looking for a Caribbean brunch with a twist, you gotta check out Belle and Lily's. They will not disappoint! Everything was 5 stars without hesitation.

Ashley C.

Yelp
Belle and Lily's has been in my list for a while, so I was excited to come for Sunday brunch. The place was almost empty, which was surprising for a weekend brunch. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, so there's plenty of parking. There was a dj playing a great selection of Caribbean and Amapiano music. The restaurant is very pretty, so all the vibes were there! Our waitress was ok. She wasn't bad, but she wasn't fully present and could've given us better service. I would've appreciated it if she explained the menu, gave us her recommendations, etc. I ordered the St. Lucian (bake, cucumbers, and salt fish) and a side of callaloo. The baked were delicious, and the salt fish was good. The cucumbers lacked flavor and the callaloo was stringy and had a lot of tough pieces. My Jamaican friend said that it needed to be cleaned a bit more. My other friends got the ital vital which looked delicious. I would come here again and try that along with some other items.

Monique' M.

Yelp
Exceptional customer service! Food was all prepared to order and served piping hot. DJ was playing a great selection of songs. The quality of the food was good. Where I was disappointed was in flavor. Seemed as though all my food choices were a little on the bland side. I used the dipping sauce from my friend's beef patties to season my ital vital and requested syrup for the mango French toast. The syrup isn't sweet, it's more bitter because it's hibiscus based. However, it was oddly good. Overall, I would return and select other menu items as my friend thoroughly enjoyed all her items (beef patty, chicken sausage, peach lemonade and mango French toast). The atmosphere and service definitely warrants a return.

David W.

Yelp
From the beginning to the end of our date, we really enjoyed ourselves. The service was very good, our server was friendly and listened to what we were saying and heard what we were really looking for and she didn't fail with her recommendations! And the food; they know what they're doing! My wife ordered this delicious fish dish (can't remember the name), but it was huge and soo good! I ordered a shrimp dish that'll make you want to slap everyone, lol! The drinks were on point as well. You can't go wrong giving them a shoot; we're definitely coming back more than once!

Bruce K.

Yelp
Caribbean brunch. Ive never had it before, so when searching for brunch places for a beautiful Saturday we settled on coming here and checking it out. When we got here it was packed! Luckily there was outdoor seating that we got to sit considering it was packed inside and it was nice outside. What ensued was a long time wait. I think it's also because of how packed it was inside, but also since we were the only table outside it seemed as if we were sort of forgotten. But when a waiter finally did come and ask for our order it then took a bit of time for the food to come out. Understandable though. The appetizers, empanada and the Jamaican patty were great. The sauce was awesome. I really enjoyed that for sure, so much so that when I ordered my Jerk Chicken sandwich that also came with fries I dipped it in that sauce. However, let's get to why I'm rating 3 stars. The thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the automatic gratuity (20%) which is added to bills during the weekend. On weekdays any party over 4 people it's automatically added as well. This is well advertised everywhere, but I thought that was kind of weird. The brunch itself was a bit pricey though for what it was I thought. The jerk chicken sandwich with fries was $14, but it wasn't even that much in portion size and the meat itself was alright. There was flavor to it, but I thought it came out dry. For $14, I was expecting more, but it is what it is... businesses have to survive one way or the other. Appetizers were $5 for one Jamaican patty and $6 for 2 empanadas. Belle and Lily's is targeting a high end Carribean brunch spot with high end pricing. But I always think does the service have to go along with that high price, especially if you're automatically charging gratuity? That's where it fell short for me. My brunch took about 2 hours an hour of it just waiting or so. The appetizers were great, the entree, okay? If you're looking to get bottomless mimosa with Carribean food, this place should be on your list! I'm okay with going to other Carribean restaurants to get Jamaican patties.

Danielle W.

Yelp
Beware on getting ripped off, just read other reviews where they don't tell you gratuity is included. And never shows your receipt. Food is ok

Vanessa N.

Yelp
Overpriced, slow service, ok food. I really wanted to like this place. Unsure if the reason for our slow service was due to us sitting outside, but I did notice people who came in later placing their orders before us. The empanadas and patties were my favorite, I particularly loved that sauce. The jerk chicken (dark meat only!) and pancakes were dry. The chicken didn't have much flavor and wasn't spicy. Plates were rusted in some parts. Our waitress was scrubbing our plates with a napkin in front of us. Maybe do that behind the scene? The hostess was really nice. There seemed to be only 1 high chair available. 20% gratuity is already included, no matter your party size! Brunch is generally overpriced. In some places the price reflects the experience, while in other places, not so much. My experience here was the latter.

Kien H.

Yelp
So I've been in this area quite a few times and never really look twice at it. But boy, this one was the move. I really love enjoy Caribbean food, and this was pretty good when it came to that. It's not like you're in the Caribbean, that much is true, but the food definitely will be good and satisfying. I came on a weekend, at around noon or so, and it wasn't crowded. And you know anything about Atlanta brunch times, it's always going to be crowded. And I thought that was actually pretty cool because the last thing you want to do is wait for 2 hours to try to sit down and have some pancakes lol. The staff that was friendly and got seated almost immediately. Now you need to have your full party there so just keep that in mind. The decor is pretty dope. A lot of grass and greenery and island type vibes when it came to the decorations. If you want something that sets off a vibe, this is probably it. It's a really small spot, but it has a really Island homely field that makes any sense lol. There's some outside seats as well, not that many so don't actually bank on that. The food was good, the food was super solid. The meat patty was good. Felt a little harder than it should or could have been, but it had a good flavor to it. The wings, the jerk wings are pretty good as well. Only gripe within was they had a multitude of different wing sizes. So you Make it a really full huge winger that you make it a wing that's a size of half of your thumb. It wasn't consistent. So it was kind of a waste if they counted that as a actual wing. But it was good flavor. It wasn't super spicy or at least spicy to a Caribbean seasoning lover, but it was good. I got the jerk chicken and pancake, now the jerk chicken was the same as the chicken wings, the sauce was good and flavorful but it wasn't hit you in your face Caribbean spice. But it was definitely savory. The pancakes were about a half inch thick and they were good and fluffy! The only thing that I didn't really go for was the syrups that they gave for the pancake. One of them had a rum in it, at least would have tasted like, the other one had a little sweet finish but not really sweet as you would normally expect if you were going to do maple syrup. So I guess it makes a difference, but they were crispy and fluffy at the same time. I actually use both syrup dipping sauces and I actually made it pretty good. I would recommend, I would definitely check it out. It's in the middle of a strip mall area so you may actually miss it if you don't know what you're looking for but I thought it was good. And I would go back and try some other things as well. You got portions there that we're not overpowering you as far as giving you too much foods where you couldn't function after you ate lol and I appreciate it that. It's definitely worth the visit! Especially if you needed a hint of Caribbean in your life!

Tierney J.

Yelp
This place was an amazing vibe! Great service! (Request Necia she's the best!) Great Drinks (Get Zoë's Elixir: Elderflower, passion fruit, champagne, orange zest) enough for about 6 glasses, also Belle's Essence: Riesling, Belle's Essence. Dis a Nuh Bumboclxxt Peach Sangria 4 glasses) Parking was plenty. It's in a shopping center. It's worth every penny! ($50-$100+ food+drinks party of 2) Great atmosphere Small homey vibes! Best pancakes I've ever had in my life! Jerk Chicken delectable! 10/10 A Must Try! Black Owned

Corey B.

Yelp
Stopped by this establishment during the week to support a black owned business. Heard about it from a friend and it had its positives and negatives. We got there as it opened and there was only one person working so our experience required some patience. We started with the mimosas to drink. I had strawberry and my wife had passion fruit. There was maybe a drop of OJ in these drinks with mostly champagne and flavor syrup. We started with the seafood tostones and the empanadas chicken and beef. The tostones were good, and fresh, the empanadas were pretty good, a little dry but the beef was my favorite out of the two. Entrees we shared the Big Batty Gyal which was their take on jerk chicken and pancakes. The pancakes were amazing, light and fluffy. I had the St. Lucian breakfast which was salt fish with a cucumber salad and cakes. It was so good!!!! My wife had the shrimp kweyol which had a crispy sweet potato and sautéed shrimp over a seafood gravy. That was pretty good as well. I liked the mix of textures between the crispy potatoes and soft shrimp. My friend had the fish sandwich which came with fries and was a good size sandwich, almost a foot long, cut in half. I would return to this eatery because there were a few dishes that really stood out that I could eat on a regular basis. I am sure the weekends are pretty busy so be patient. Can't forget to mention the Caribbean theme decor that whisked you into the islands. It was so nice, I had to take a picture.

Nik S.

Yelp
Small establishment so not a lot of space for indoor dining. Be prepared to wait on the weekend for brunch so make a reservation. Food was amazing and so were the drinks.

Nicole J.

Yelp
If you're looking for great sorrel this is your place. Other than that, the food, location, service, and ambiance are lacking. I wasn't impressed at all.

Rita C.

Yelp
Church and Brunch, yes, indeed! We came from the exhibition hub, looking for some food. Lunch or brunch would do. The concept looked interesting and we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed!!! And what a gem we found! The hostess was super friendly and seated us promptly (you can also make a reservation), and our waitress was with us quite fast, letting us know how to access the menu. And there were so many fab options! We chose the Belle's Essence to start (matches my nails perfectly!), Cheese and Spinach Empanada, Seafood Tostones, Mashup Fritters and Shrimp Kweyol (this was my favourite!) A little bit of heat and a lot of flavour!!! (And we brought home a Cuban and the Mango French Toast... because... yum!) The room felt like home, having a meal with family and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something a bit different, delicious and served with love and a smile! (Hate to sound like a broken record, sorry Elite people, still don't have anything to say about the bathrooms... can't imagine they're anything but impeccable, these ladies don't kid around)

Janelle J.

Yelp
The top thing here is the bottomless mimosas on a Friday! Can't beat that nor the price which was less than $20. I got the pineapple except was disappointed that it wasn't fresh juice being used instead was the syrup. The food was ok, I feel the Island Ting dish was a small portion and needed more seasoning. The beef patty has a very nice spice to it and filled with meat which is what you want at every bite. Service was good as there was only one waitress and not many in the restaurant. The ambiance was very cute and this is a small and quaint place so you likely need reservations. I just happened to be in the area and don't have a reservation on Friday when they just opened.

Yelp
Not worth it. The laundromat next door was quite busy. Reservation or not you won't be seated w/o your party (1 other person). Sorta invalidates the reservation. But whatever.

Yelp
This place is ahhhmazing. I was super reluctant to try it. Because as a Jamaican and Guyanese woman from New York, I'm not impressed with Caribbean fusion... especially in atlanta. But THIS PLACE?! It was the best Caribbean fusion spot I've been to in a while. Here is the run down: 1. Empanadas. Yes. Use that sauce that comes with it. It adds a kick that really compliments the beef filling. The empanada is light and flaky and good. 2. Tostones. Get the grean plantain with the seasoned shrimp. You will not be disappointed. The marinade makes the food nice and red. It's also really flavorful! It is a great appetizer and totally worth it. 3. French toast. The French toast is massive and so good and flavorful. I didn't know what the coconut bread would be like... but it was a sweet coconut flavored bread. Almost like a nice coconut brioche (if I had to compare). It's served with a delish mango spiced syrup. You are going to love it. Get it with a side of chicken sausage for a full vibe. 4. Pancakes. Hubs had the pancakes with jerk chicken. The jerk chicken was tender and juicy. For a baked jerk chicken it was nice a flavorful and authentic tasting. The pancakes came with a hibiscus syrup... listen. Vibes You gotta visit.

Yelp
Great excellent and GREAT AGAIN!! My girls and I had the pleasure of coming here to celebrate and discuss our book! Yes I'm in a bookclub! Lol 10 years PLUS! But this place was highly recommended. When arrived under our reservation and was seated once everybody arrived. B and L is located in a plaza right off the highway which was convenient. We order a carafe of Mimosa, which was ok, not enough libations but it was still good. I ordered the grouper sandwich with fries and DANG!!!!! They knocked it out the park! They we're celebrating their anniversary so, the music was playing and the DJ was on point. I will most definitely be back to support this black sister doing her thang!!

Yelp
My friends and I were in the area and were looking for something different. We saw this place and figured we would give it a try. The service was great and the food was delicious I had the st Lucian breakfast and it was delish the salt fish was well flavor and the bake was soft the dish went well together. My friend had the seafood tostones. I managed to get a pic before she inhaled it. We topped it off with some passion fruit mimosas. Everything was delish definitely recommend

Yelp
Let me start from the top and say if your don't like Caribbean food as it it's don't say anything about the taste. This is authentic Caribbean food. Including the Hispanic parts. It's all there. The place looks like a modern beautiful relaxed version of a what you imagine when you hear Caribbean. The staff was super friendly from entry to end. When we had questions the waitress had answers. But my favorite was the way they made love to that shrimp. Ugh!! Generous amounts and delicious all the way trough: will be back at least one more time.

Yelp
I brunched here with my fam yesterday morning finally and it was definitely worth the wait. I live all of 10 mins away and have been trying to get here for some time now. We did have to wait until all members of our party were present in order to be seated. Inside was quite small and didn't leave much room to wait, esp if it gets busy. We were served by Rochelle who was very attentive and overall made sure we were well set, so thank you Rochelle! We started with mimosas, as they had a July 4th weekend special - $15 bottomless mimosas. We ordered the mango and passion fruit (Passion fruit was my fav; so fresh and tropical). For appetizers, I ordered the "Yahd Wings" which I really enjoyed. After reading other reviews, they sounded like the way to go; they did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the mango on top paired with the spice. For my entree, I got the "Shrimp Kweyol" - also a well put together dish. I really enjoyed the textures - the crunch and char of the shrimp, the sweet potato (idk HOW they did it, but the outer layer was crisp while the inside was fluffy and delicate - 10/10) and the best part, the creamy gravy it sat in that brought everything together. Absolutely delicious. I would order this exact meal again, appetizer and all. Overall, I had a great first experience here. This is a small, intimate setting, and luckily wasn't incredibly busy when we went. I can't imagine this place at its peak hour, however! As someone who is Caribbean myself, I really had an appreciation for this spot. This was my first time eating St. Lucian inspired dishes and definitely won't be my last. Few things to note: this spot is nestled in a shopping mall, so plenty of public parking. Sometimes, they post specials on their IG so be sure to check before going (this is how we found out about the mimosa special). Make reservations online prior!

Yelp
Wow! The presentation is unmatched! Glad I decided to get off my block and venture to this location. It's a small establishment and the food took some time to arrive BUT its totally worth the wait time. The love poured into each dish is unreal.everything had a unique flair and everything was spot on delicious! It's island vibes inside were cute. Nice ambiance. It's a great place for smaller groups not so much for a larger party. Prices were on the higher end but it does make sense since quality is not subpar. I'll be back for sure!

Yelp
Being that I am an Afro-Caribbean women I was beyond excited to try this place, however I believe that I got food poisoning from this establishment. By the end of my meal I started to feel queasy and about an hour later I was throwing up what felt like my entire insides. The positives: the pancakes with Hibiscus syrup was amazing, the beef patty comes with some kind of herbs in olive oil that adds a tasty twist to the traditional beef patty. Cons: * FOOD POISONING! Duh. Also, the bakes where the nastiest tasting bakes I have ever had in my life! All you taste is the yeast.

Yelp
True West Indians will love it here because it tastes like home. Baby where do I start?? I'm from Brooklyn, NY and one thing that pisses me off about these "Caribbean" restaurants in the south is that they never get the jerk chicken right. It's usually just grilled chicken with spicy BBQ sauce. Annoying!! But not here though. Everything is authentic. We order the following. Empanadas: we had chicken and it was well seasoned. It comes with 2 and I stole bites of the one I gave to my son LoL It was so good I might come back and order a half dozen just because. It was an appetizer but could very well be a stand alone meal. So satisfying. Fancy Omelette: With seasoned potatoes and arugula salad. The potatoes were delicious and could be eaten on their own though they tasted amazing with just ketchup too. Salad was bomb. It looked naked but after the first bite I could taste the dressing. Nice and light but full flavored. The omelette itself is supposed to be stuffed with crab meat and cheese. I got a hint of it but not much. I'm finicky about eggs but these were good. Just disappointed that there wasn't more meat in it. I honestly never got a "bite" of the meat while I was eating but could taste the flavor. Big Batty Gyal: pancakes and jerk chicken. REAL jerk chicken. Tender fall off the bone and make your nose run jerk chicken. Loved it and the pancakes taste like porridge. I'm already making plans to go back. This is about my new favorite brunch spot.

Yelp
Took a little trip to Tucker for a Caribbean breakfast. Arrived close to opening - 11 AM on a Saturday so this is a certified brunch, lunch and early dinner spot. The plates are from all your favorite islands - Jamaica, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico. Trinidad, St. Lucia, Bahamas and more. They even serve fresh juice blends for mimosas - pineapple, mango, passion fruit, hibiscus and others. Service was delightful and casual. Reservations are recommended even though it's located in a Big Lots shopping plaza. Decor is nice with plenty florals and art on the walls. My only advice is to come ready to eat because you'll want to sample every course. Pancakes, patties, oxtails, snapper and other dishes are heavy so come hungry!

Yelp
I was super excited to check out this new restaurant and take my niece to brunch for her birthday in late March. I love that they accept reservations, so you don't' have to deal with a ridiculous wait time if you plan in advance. It's located close to 285 and it's in North Hills Shopping Center which means you don't have to pay for parking. I'm not sure if the sign has been updated, when I went in March the sign on the building said Havana Soul Café.  It's a small boutique style restaurant serving creative Caribbean dishes Wednesday - Sunday in a beautifully decorated spot that makes you feel like you're on a tropical island. Everyone was super friendly and had smiles, our waiter had recommendations which is always helpful and appreciated.   If you're planning on having more than one mimosa, I recommend ordering a carafe for $26; hibiscus was perfection. To start we had seafood tostones (marinated lump crab and shrimp on fried tostones $16) and mashup fritters (conch fritters with ginger vinaigrette $12). Each dish was beautifully served and the perfect portion for two people, packed full of flavor.   For my brunch entrée I decided to order the mango season aka mango French toast $18 ( spiced coconut bread, fresh mangos, whipped cream and rum caramel sauce. It was a very tasty dish full of tropical flavors, it could have used a little more rum caramel sauce to moisten the bread a little since it's pretty thick. I was missed having a protein, the only meat I eat is fish and unfortunately there wasn't a plant-based sausage option to order as a side. I enjoyed both appetizers but would order a different entrée next time.   I'm already looking forward to my next visit and trying different items.

Yelp
Went on Sunday 12:30pm. Good atmosphere and customer service. Ordered jerk chicken/pancake and some wine. Waiter asked if we "minded" waiting for the jerk chicken to be done. We were not really given an option lol ... 1.5 hours later we received our food. Food was fine but not big enough portions and 1.5 hours wait for food is exactly why I cook at home lol .... Beef patty was also good but I won't be back. Way too disorganized for me

Yelp
Bomb! Located in a shopping plaza..no big sign so ride slow. Also the area is known for break ins so be vigilant. The restaurant itself is so cute and clean. I love the decor and family style round tables. Very welcoming staff. I did come around 11:30 so there was no delay in being seated. QR menu is convenient. I ordered the orange juice which tastes like it was picked right after I ordered...so fresh! I had the Ruddock Tingz as well..very yum! Had a little punch but that's the champagne. Started with the fritters and the ginger sauce. YES MAAM! Nice crispy crunch and soft middle. So good. Food came out a little slow but I was in no rush. For my brunch I ordered the French toast and a side of cheese eggs. In my Ginuwine voice...my whole life has changed. THE BEST French toast I've had. Super thick and fluffy with the essence of coconut. Could have used more of the syrup but I didn't mind. Cheese eggs bussin...cooked like your granny would. Overall I will be back. Kinda pricy...very pricey.. but the portions are decent and the quality is worth it. I overheard there is only one older woman cooking in the back so have patience and relax!

Yelp
Very good brunch. If you crave something different for brunch give it a try! Just know the music is loud. Passion fruit mimosa- yum. Get the$8 version. Conch fritters- fried bread - good but dont get this if you order an entree with fried bread. Salt fish bake- very good Jerk chicken and pancakes- very good! Overall like this place! Good brunch destination.

Yelp
Belle and Lily's serves an all Caribbean brunch menu highlighting different islands. Space: Place is small so, Rsvp is a must and they won't seat you unless your entire party is present. Food: Menu looks good. Couldn't decide what to have. We settled on: - Seafood Tostones - seasoned well and served with an herb sauce - Big Batty Gyal - perfectly cooked jerk chicken served with buttermilk pancakes. I loved the hibiscus syrup. - Rude Bwoi - listen, if you don't want to see the head, don't order this whole fried snapper but you'll be missing out. Fried to perfection, served with sweet plantains and salad. Drinks: we had mimosas. I wanted coffee but they didn't serve any. Server kinda said machine was down and it was not their best seller almost saying they may not serve any in the future. Well, that's weird as for brunch, many would order coffee. I had to go next door to Planet Hookah for my fix. Ugh. Parking: plenty as the resto is located in a shopping center. Overall, I would return but hope they fix their coffee machine. Will update if they do.

Yelp
Hey y'all we are back with this lovely place belle and lily's ! Let get into it ! Parking: parking is free yay! And has tons being that it is in a plaza. Location: I def didn't expect it to be in a shopping plaza like it was. I was looking more for a stand alone place. The inside was definitely smaller than I thought. From the front of the restaurant to the back by the bathrooms is was a good 12-15 steps (I'm tall so maybe more for others ). The front waiting space was little to none. They have "benches " I feel more for decor than functionality. Because if you sit there you will also be sitting at the window seat table . So if you have a wait it will be outside or at the bar (if available). Place: the decor was cute real Caribbean giving rainforest chic (I'm wild I know ). We made a reservation on a Saturday at 1 and it wasn't very busy. But just in case make a reservation. They had a dj come in and he was good just really loud due to space being limited. The sound bounced off all the walls. Kids are allowed from what I saw as well. (Yay mom time) Drinks : they had options of mimosas always for brunch ! They ask you if you want sparkling, or still water. I got still water which was the alkaline water in the picture below. It was very good. But cost you $6 or more per bottle fyi. They do have a full bar though for all drinkers to enjoy. Service : everyone there was super nice. They use the electric ordering service machine to place your orders and for you to pay your bill. Very convenient. The menu was listed on the table with a QR code. Food: Started with the Seafood tostones: it comes with 3 pieces. They were good. Had all the flavor and the perfect crunch on the tostones. Mash up fritters : this was different for me as a Jamaican my fritters are flat and round. These were more like round balls ( hush puppies shape). They were good ! Had a after kick of pepper ! The sauce is not sweet. More tangy and gave more of a vinegar taste than vinaigrette. For the main course : Island tings: The callaloo was good. For not Caribbean people this is our version of greens but not a savory taste because no meat in it. I chose the chicken sausage option which was good. Only comes with one link but it was thick. The passion butter gave me hints of strawberry but it was tasty difference from regular butter. St Lucian Breakfast: The salt fish was good. But needed more flavors in it seasoning wise. But the bakes were amazing and huge rounds ! Crispy and soft in the middle. I could of ate a whole basket of them. Big Batty Gyal: Jerk chicken. Was good and moist But those pancakes were sooooooooo soft and fluffy. Lord ! I loved how they melted in my mouth. They were a finger width thick. Came with three I believe. It tasted different from regular buttermilk but either way amazing ! Recommend. Mango season aka mango French toast : This was just as thick as the pancakes. They used coconut bread which gave a different flavor but texture amazing light and fluffy. The sauce was good I would of been happy with just syrup. The star is the French toast!!!! Recommend. I definitely recommend this place for a date, girls brunch , men's brunch , day out, all the above. It was again small but everything was great. I will be back.

Yelp
Completely WOW'd by this restaurant. It is small and unassuming in a shopping plaza but it is honestly such a delightful experience. From the decor to the service to the great food. You really can't go wrong with this restaurant. It's a brunch house so they close I believe at 3pm but come early because they get packed easily. I tried everything my heart desired and was not disappointed whatsoever. SEAFOOD TOSTONES: really good, I'm not a fan of fried, mashed plantains but the seafood topping was so delicious with the vinaigrette sauce YAHD WINGS: spicy jerk wings, not really spicy but super good HALF BREED: two super soft biscuits served with passion butter. Listen if you're a fan of Cracker Barrel's biscuits you will LOVE these biscuits which beats Cracker Barrel's any day. They are so soft and light, that get stuck at the roof of your mouth. I love my biscuits just like this! Ask for extra passion butter because the serving I was given was not enough. I like to smother my biscuits with butter. BEEF EMPANADA: very flavorful and you don't need the chimichurri sauce it is served with on the side either RUDE BWOI: whole fried snapper with three fried sweet plantains. Highly recommend. Was told this is their most popular dish and I observed a few other patrons order the exact same dish. IF you have patience to fish out the bones and get your hands dirty, this is an excellent dish. PEACH LEMONADE: so good I ordered two ZOE'S ELIXIR: It was good but champagne heavy, and served in a small champagne flute. Touchless menu, free and plenty parking They do charge 20% automatic gratuity FYI.

Yelp
spinach cheese empanada is 10/10!!!! (better than beef). the tostones are delicious too!! two great apps got the spicy chk bowl and it was a good proportion size got seated quickly, but the service was really slow; there's minimal servers... so understandable. i def recommend!!

Yelp
I had brunch here today and it was a great time! First, it was super hard for me to find. I circled the Big Lots shopping center parking lot several times before I found it. It's right underneath the sign that says Cuban Cafe or something like that. Hopefully they can get a bigger sign in the future because they deserve it! You should definitely book a reservation though because it's a tiny place and it gets crowded. I was happy to see most of the servers wearing masks and they were thoroughly cleaning the tables and chairs after each guest. Once we were seated, we received a domino with a QR code to look at the menu. Too cute and very unique. We opted to try a bunch of different empanadas and a chicken patty. I enjoyed the spinach and cheese empanada and the chicken patty the most. We also had the hibiscus mimosa carafe as well as the passion fruit mimosa carafe (I preferred the passion fruit mimosa). I'm not sure if they have a full bar though. For my entree, I pieced together a few things, pancakes, eggs, and chicken sausage link. These were the fluffiest pancakes so bring your appetite! And they were GOOD!! They even had a slight crispness to the edges. The eggs were scrambled to perfection and the sausage was plump and very tender. I really enjoyed my meal here and the decor is a whole vibe in and of itself. Very friendly staff and reasonable brunch prices. Enjoy!

Yelp
I've been to Belle and Lily's twice and they did not disappoint. The vibes was good and the food was even better. Let's discuss the good! I haven't tried a menu item that wasn't good. It is too much to name from both visits but you won't go wrong with anything you tried. Each time we ordered drinks, appetizers, and an entree. My favorite appetizer has been the saltfish tostones and the spinach empanadas. I enjoyed the Lucian Breakfast and Big Batty Gyal. I do wish the staff was a little more attentive and came to check on us more because we waited a long time to leave on my second visit. I think our server went on break while we were waiting for our checks and to go containers. The music was really good. They played fairly recent dancehall songs.

Yelp
I came with my friend during brunch and it was absolutely popping, but we were seated with not troubles. The menu is amazing it was really hard for me to decide on one thing but I will be back. I got the Rude Bwoi and absolutely devoured it. However, I did see the French toast at another table and no I will be back to try that as well.

Yelp
We enjoyed a nice Saturday brunch at Belle and Lily's. It was our first time there. Upon entering the space was small, but the decorations were very lively and nicely decorated. We didn't have a reservation, but our wait wasn't long at all, I believe it was less than 5 mins. One sat our waitress, came over after a little bit and took our drink orders, which we started off with the pitcher of Belle's Essence it was good, but not too strong. Me and my three brunch companions were hungry so we definitely want it to try a lot of things. For starters I got the chicken empanada, which I didn't care for too much because the first bite of chicken I had a piece with skin and fat on it, and I'm iffy with textures. My friend got the beef patty which was good. For the table we also got the yahd wings I remember them being pretty small, but the flavor was absolutely delicious. For my brunch entrée I got the fried fish sandwich. It came with french fries. Everything was delicious but I think it needed a second piece or bigger piece in it because after a few bites it was gone and I was just left with bread. One of my friends got the. Big Batty Gyal and just looking at it as it was placed on the table I was instantly jealous and regretted my order. The dish looked amazing and is definitely big enough to take home. I'm assuming it was delicious because my friend never offered anyone a bite lol. My friends across from me got the jerk chicken sandwich she enjoyed her sandwich said the flavor was good. My other friend got the mango French toast and let me try it and that was also delicious as well. We ended up getting another pitcher but there was four of us so between the 2 pitchers we only got like 2-3 drinks between us so no one left tipsy. Overall the experience was great, food was flavorful and I look forward to going and trying something else.

Yelp
DO NOT GO, RIP OFF - YOU WERE WARNED!!!! The food is okay, but you must be aware of horrible business practice. Business lunch, requested bill, and was handed the wireless card reader which showed me the total charge and and option for adding a tip. I added a 18% tip and was told the receipt would be sent to me, but asked for a printed receipt. When driving away, though the amount was high and looked at the receipt and noted a built in gratuity and my tip of 18% added. The lunch charge went from $77 to $115, effectively 50%! The server did not tell me there was a gratuity built in, only an option to add a tip. Call to discuss and was told there was nothing that could be done. Food was okay. But we did ask about a recommendation. Was told the Tostones. Crackers with bits of meat... 3 pieces was $16. Between getting okay food that is over priced and getting mislead about charges, I cannot recommend this place to anyone and will say sorry if you go and this happens to you. When I shared with the restaurant I would dispute via AMEX and asked for the person's name, they hung up. Guess we were done, them talking to me and me ever thinking about going back. A copy of the receipt is attached. If the restaurant would have advised the gratuity was added or shown me the receipt with the charges, then this review would have focused upon the food.

Yelp
I truly enjoyed Sunday Brunch as my first visit with friends. The service was great, decor was chic, and the food was absolutely delish. The spot is small but really cute and gives authentic island vibes. When you walk through the door, the aromatic smells of the Caribbean permeated the spot. My only complaint is the use of aerosols and chemicals in close proximity to others while cleaning the tables. The smell of lysol began to overpower the sweet aromas of the food. Vinegar and lime/lemon are great natural disinfectants. Perhaps using those as alternatives during restaurant hours. Nevertheless, I'll be back again soon.

Yelp
Went to Belle and Lily's for brunch on a Saturday. There was no wait so that was nice and we had a friendly, attentive server. It's cute and quaint inside. Not a huge dining room and decorations fit for a Caribbean spot. The four of us tried the Belle's Essence drink that serves 4. You each get one drink each for the $34. The drink was good, all 4 of us enjoyed it. We then had the bottomless mimosas - mango, passionfruit, strawberry, and a seasonal mix of three flavors. We enjoyed all the drinks we had. Two of us ordered the jerk chicken sandwich. I didn't like it too much, I felt the bread was hard and chicken needed more flavor. However, our friend did enjoy the sandwich so it may still be worth a try. Overall, the service was great, food was decent, drinks were wonderful, and a cute ambience. Worth a try!
