This one had been on our list for a while, and we finally got to order it. No disappointment at all! The burritos are big and stuffed, highly recommend Belly Burrito (marinated steak and Korean kimchi.) We also really like Korean Cali Fries that comes with egg, kimchi, meat, and more. It’s a bit pricy, but worth a try.

Google
Everyone from friends to my grandmother loves the food here. While the bowls are great, I definitely recommend getting a variety of tacos so you can try everything! Our favorites are the fish taco, grilled chicken taco, and then for the bowl the Korean fried chicken! The reality though is you can’t go wrong with any option. Service is also super quick and the servers are really nice. Good options for beverages too (and I love the chocolate chip cookies also).

Google
I found Belly by accident while I was on my way to the New Parish. I boy and I glad that I did! Their food was a much needed change in my stable of eateries. The shrimp and avocado burrito is sooooo good!! And they make them thicc!! I’m a big guy and most burritos don’t faze me, but 2/3 into the burrito I was asking myself if it was a good idea to finish it. I did and then I had to go sit on the couch for a half hour and catch up on emails. Their tater tots are excellent and the pork belly burrito is also very tasty option. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean.

Google
Food has interesting flavors, but if you're wanting the sweet sticky korean fried chicken, skip that and get the pork belly. The spicy fried chicken tastes like southern fried chicken, good if that's what you're expecting. Also not sure why i expected the cabbage to be kimchi, but I did. Maybe I expected Mexican Korean and what it is more is american-korean. The bowl is large, easily 2 meals for me and the Jamaica cider was amazing.

Google
First time eating here.definitely won't be the last. We ordered the fries to share, a burger and a burrito for my girlfriend. We ended up walking away with half of it because it was so much food.

Alan W.

Google
Super busy small restaurant. You order before you sit down, but once you order the food is brought to your table within 5 minutes. For the amount of customers, I really dunno how they do it?! We got the fries and tacos, and everything tasted very fresh and delicious! I would love to go back and try their burgers next time. All in all, great service and delicious food. I really can't ask for more.

Google
Mindblowing tofu tacos! Their fish and shrimp/avacados are also fantastic, but the tofu taco is the clear winner in flavor for me. They were even able to accommodate no meat on the Cali belly fries by adding tofu to the order! Their tofu is some kind of fried batter silken tofu, so they taste amazing whether on a tortilla or paired with saucey fries. My dining companions also greatly enjoyed their popular steak/egg taco and pork belly combo. They have multiple alcoholic beverages to choose from and have a tasty seasonal lemonade they make which changes on occasion.

Google
I got the belly bowl, add avocado, and it was amazing! The steak was perfectly cooked and the kimchi sauce was the perfect topping. The rice and lettuce complemented it well. It could have been nice with a little acidity but otherwise, a great dish! The shoe string fries were also super good. Overall, a great spot! The tacos looked amazing too.

Joey T.

Yelp
I love Belly! Been a huge fan since they opened. Perfect location in downtown Oakland and there always seem to be parking. The interior is super cute for dine in and they have outdoor seating as well. Must try the sauces they give. The habanero is good but super spicy. The steak & egg burrito is my all time favorite. Pork belly burrito is really good. And the Korean hot chicken is 3rd on my list. Also 10/10 for the packaging **

Christopher K.

Yelp
... just MEH this time. I remember when this place first popped up and everything was on point. The latest trip here felt a bit off. The steak was overcooked and super dry. The pork belly was also overcooked, dry and extra chewy. When you arrive with an appetite and have food leftover, that speaks volumes. Service was good and the venue is cool but this time was disappointing. The flavors and potential are all still there but the execution was not. Hopefully its better next time.

Aravind V.

Yelp
Pork belly burrito was interesting, the pork belly was delicious but perhaps had a little too much gochujang flavor on it for my taste. I also think the burrito could've used a few more veggies, but those are small complaints. The bowl was huge, and seemed to be a far better bargain for the amount of food than the burrito was, and tasted even better. I do think the food is a little pricey, especially the burrito (which compared to the bowl felt like a lot less food for the same price), but overall still worth trying!

James Y.

Yelp
Still good food, but downgraded a star because it's just hard to pay 2x to eat here vs a taco truck. One very good local taco truck will run you $30 for two burritos and a large nacho. Meanwhile, same fare here would be about $75. The food and sitdown experience just isn't special enough to justify that price premium, and I don't think I'll be coming back. Even if you're just doing takeout, you're paying $60 before tax/tip. That just doesn't make sense to me when we're talking burritos and nachos. I understand food prices have gone up, but Belly needs to update its menu/pricing somehow.

Patricia Y.

Yelp
This Asian fusion restaurant in uptown Oakland offers Korean-Mexican cuisine served in your choice of taco, burrito, or bowl. They use the Korean multi grain rice and a selection of sauces to go with your protein. Customizable menu, fast service, indoor and outdoor seating. Weekend parking in the street is free, otherwise metered.

Kaelin N.

Yelp
Belly has never let me down. Sure, it seems a little pricy for a taco but it is loaded and amazing! We came to Belly from a few doors down, not satisfied with our lunch outing. Belly was the solution to that! Flavors are great and have so much umami! You must try!

Stacy H.

Yelp
I ordered the Korean Hot Chicken Burrito because all the ingredients seemed very unique to the tortilla as a vessel and with this spot being Korean-Mexican fusion. But I was slightly disappointed, especially since the total for a burrito is about $20. The flavor was not there, korean fried chicken usually has this amazing punch of sweet and savory that I was not getting. It also wasn't that crispy. I was depending on the salsa verde that I chose for my sauce for more flavor. The service was quick! You order from your phone and for me it came out in less than ten minutes. I came at a slower time.

Kim O.

Yelp
Belly is a casual, quick & delicious spot serving Mexican-Asian fusion eats. This was a perfect dinner before heading to a comedy show at the Fox Theater since it's a 5 minute walk from Belly! We loved the Surf & Turf bowl, the Southwest taco, the Korean Hot Chicken taco & the tater tots with garlic aioli! The service was great, quick & friendly!

Yelp
Belly is a Mexican Korean fushion spot. You wouldn't think it went together but Belly totally made it work. I always get the steak and eggs taco, belly taco, and tempura shrimp and avocado taco. I've gotten the California fries and yum that's good too. The egg on the steak and egg taco is cooked perfectly (sunny side up and the yolk is runny just how I like it) and the steak has so much flavor, they add fries. Together with this egg and steak in a flour tortilla is perfection - to me! The tempura shrimp and avocado taco has so much flavor and crunch. Can't forget about the belly taco - the signature dish. The pork belly is cooked perfectly and mixed with the coleslaw and aole sauce...whoooooo hooo! I love it. You need to try this. It doesn't disappoint! The restaurant is a cute little spot on the corner - inside and outside seating. The people who own and work there are so nice so you know the service is even better. You're not waiting forever and they even bring the food out to you! Only thing is, parking sucks so give yourself time or if you work in downtown maybe walk. Also, be aware of your surroundings - it's still oakland. Not pictured: belly taco because I didn't order it this time. My stomach only allowed 2 tacos versus the 3 I usually get

Jean B.

Yelp
Ordered delivery from Belly and the packaging was great with everything neatly wrapped and tacos in a box. We got the pork belly burrito, fish taco, Korean hot chicken taco, shrimp tacos and truffle fries with garlic aioli. The tacos were pretty bland. I was disappointed with the hot chicken taco as the chicken itself didn't have much flavor. The pork belly burrito was decent. I feel everything could use more punchy flavors especially since with the Korean/Mexican fusion, I expected more spicy/sweet or salty/tangy and I didn't get any of that. The sauces did the heavy lifting to make the taco or burrito. The shoestring truffle fries were really good and so was the garlic aioli. The elote was too saucy and just ok. Overall this was a decent meal but not very memorable.

Jeanette L.

Yelp
I came here with a group of 4 on a Saturday and there was plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. I had the Cali steak taco which had a handful of shoestring fries. I appreciated the flavors and sauces on this taco. The fish taco lacked flavor in my opinions--perhaps a little salt and pepper would help. The kimchi was very yummy and added the much appreciated fermented umami. The menu seemed very extensive and I wouldn't mind coming back to try different menu items.

Amy C.

Yelp
Had a great experience here! All of the flavors looked so interesting and I love fusion-type food. They have a variety of tacos, burritos, and bowls. I got 3 tacos in order to try different flavors and it was a ton of food. The surf taco was delicious, and the fish was tender and soft. The pork belly was also very good. The Korean hot chicken was a bit too spicy for me but I still enjoyed it. Overall it was a ton of food! The only thing I was not impressed with were the garlic fries, which were soggy and very oily, and also quite expensive at $8 for a small bowl.

Gail J.

Yelp
We've been eager to try this new restaurant on College. So glad we did! Liz guided us through the menu, making drink recommendations. We started with with the LA COB grilled corn with a Mexican flair. My husband thought his Surf and Turf bowl was tasty with more meat than he expected...a definite plus for this carnivore! I was very happy with my shrimp taco. Delicious! The food here is solid; the personable service sets it apart.

Kaitlin T.

Yelp
Here, I had the opportunity to try Mexican/Korean fusion for the first time, which was quite interesting. Opted for the pork burrito and found it to be quite tasty. Had the option to choose my own sauce and got the salsa verde -- definitely a good decision as it complemented the burrito well. However, the price of $20+ for the burrito seemed a bit on the higher side for my liking, but that's typical for the Bay Area. Overall, it provided a distinct culinary experience, although the cost was somewhat less appealing.

Jessica V.

Yelp
10/10 It's as good as it looks! My friend and I split the Belly Cali Fries and we still had trouble finishing it. The portion size is very generous and the toppings are piled ON! The picture speaks for itself. You have a delicious blend of flavors and you'll definitely be satisfied! I want to go back and try their tacos next time!

Alyssa D.

Yelp
Okay first off, I was hesitant paying $6.75 for a taco, it goes against everything I believed in. BUT LET ME TELL YOU. The pork belly was thiiiiick & seasoned so well. Everything was so balanced & I honestly got full from just one. I got the hot chicken taco as well, I feel it fell short compared to the pork belly(less meat) but the batter was light & crispy - not overly spicy. It's rare for me to say my life was changed by a single taco.. but I'll admit it, that pork belly was worth it. Parking - street parking & a close by lot Price: pricy, but high quality Service: I got it to go & only took 10 minutes Ambiance: they have places to sit & take out

Karina G.

Yelp
Huge portions, fantastic flavor and quick service were the three standouts at Belly. It may not look like it from the photo, but they are serving up the biggest plate of loaded fries I've ever seen. I also got the chicken rice bowl with added avocado (obviously) and could hardly finish half because it was so filling and rich. I was also pleasantly surprised with the beer selection. My meal was accompanied by a delicious, and strong, Tripel. Ordering was a breeze and I don't know how I managed before. Phone ordering is really one of my favorites features that has come out of all the safety measures put in place. Also, they have lots of great, and distanced, outdoor seating for those still avoiding indoor/enclosed spaces. Parking can be a bit tricky, but it's worth circling the block once or twice to dine at Belly!

Steven L.

Yelp
Belly was an okay spot you should try out. This is Korean and Mexican fusion. Food was good but kinda pricey. I don't think I would come back here but definitely worth a try.

Loreto D.

Yelp
Deliciousness! I had the Surf Bowl and I liked it. It was light and it was just the right amount for me. I'll be back!

Jess G.

Yelp
I have never ate tacos like these! They are out of this world! My coworkers and I were completely blowed away and our worlds were open to new flavors! The fusion of Mexican and Korean flavors are heavenly! My taste buds are watering just thinking about it!

T B.

Yelp
I'm a burrito snob from San Diego. First off this Cali burrito wasn't terrible. It was not larger than normal. But the worst part was the price, so I had to give extra scrutiny. The good part was it had a quality tortilla wrapped in wax paper. The cheese, cream and fries went together well. And no unnecessary beans. As you're eating it, you notice the guacamole has a so strong citrus flavor. Some people prefer that but I like a little less. You taste cheese, cream, fries, then strong citrus. The steak blends well with enough fries, but on its own it had a strong flavor. Some bites were mostly meat. Altogether the flavors didn't blend together well enough. At least the ingredients didn't taste cheap. I would have preferred it bigger, less spicy crema, and for them to go a little easier on the marinade and the lime. Easy to eat though. 3.9/5 I can confirm that it was a San Diego-style burrito. But more La Jolla than Chula Vista or Clairemont Mesa.

Music. J.

Yelp
Fast service, delicious food. Will definitely be back again! The pork belly tacos and Cali fries were amazing

Brandon T.

Yelp
I live really close to this place and I've always walked by but I had never ordered from them. I decided to give them a try today and I ordered the steak and egg burrito. I was a little bit sad that I forgot to order fries but much to my surprise the burrito has delicious fries inside. The ambience inside of the restaurant is particularly friendly and very very clean. Will definitely be back for more.

Sammy T.

Yelp
This place is good, don't get me wrong. If I could, I'd give it a 3.5 but I don't think it's good enough to warrant a 4 star experience. The Belly Cali fries are tremendous and huge (so don't get sticker shock for the price). For reference, I had it with 2 friends and after eating this, we all couldn't eat our main meal lol. Because the Belly Cali fries had a lot of the ingredients for the Belly Taco and Cali Taco that I wanted to try, I opted for the Surf burrito. It was filling, tasty, and overall great flavors. But idk, I felt like something was missing to give me the oomf that prevents me from voluntarily wanting to come back shortly after. Overall, I'd come back for the fries and maybe try a taco but probably not any time soon.

Cathya L.

Yelp
came in and ordered a takeout meal by phone and changed my mind to eat at the establishment since I realized I had more time and was disappointed to hear that I couldn't enjoy my meal there. The reasoning being that "you cannot eat your takeout meals here anymore because we're trying to eliminate waste". So strange, did anyone hear about this new rule anywhere?

Selena L.

Yelp
Solid Asian fusion spot in downtown Oakland! Came here around 2PM; place was rather empty but I was seated and served quickly. Food was flavorful; I ordered the Korean hot chicken bowl and the chicken was crispy on the outside but tender on the inside, and the sauce was the perfect amount of spicy. Price point was a bit steep IMO, but solid eats here!

Mario W.

Yelp
Shared a pork belly burrito. Had the steak and egg taco and a tempura shrimp and avocado taco. Probably the best Korean Mexican fusion I've ever had. Amazing flavors and good portions.

JackJeanie L.

Yelp
Interested in the Korean-Mexican fusion cuisine, we came here around 1 PM...place was quite busy. The food was good. Yes, tacos are a bit more expensive but substantial. We barely made it through 4 tacos. The shrimp avocado, pork belly, and steak and eggs are must try. We also got the Korean inspired fries....enough to feed a party and very delicious. We will go back if we are in the area again.

Anna Vy V.

Yelp
I was surprised at the me u! A lot of interesting options. It's Korean fusion food and its done very nicely. Pork belly bowl was my favorite.

May Z.

Yelp
I returned to Belly yesterday and was even more impressed this time. The service is always friendly, and the food is impeccable. We tried the bowls this time and they were perfect. So many delicious and fresh flavors. The shrimp tempura avocado one was amazing. The tempura batter was light and fluffy, exactly the way you would hope for. Seriously better than some sushi restaurants! Love this place.

Daryl N.

Yelp
I was first introduced to Belly in 2019 and have returned 7-8 times since then. This location, to me, has always had curb appeal along with the proximity to downtown Oak and its famous local landmarks. What first stood out to me was the eclectic fusion menu. Secondly, the service, third, the ambiance, and lastly, the food. This Kor/Mex menu offers 9-10 Korean fused tacos/burritos, which are all tasty, unique, and filling. 7 well-priced, yummy little sides that tantalize the palette even before the entrees. There is also a plethora of beverages to choose from. I won't even get into the burgers, salads, and bowls, because I haven't tried them. This place, menu, and staff always deliver, on service, execution, and personality. This place deserves multiple visits. The price is high for iconic Americana classics but it is well worth the experience. I recommend you analyze the menu well and pre-mediate your options each time. A little interesting hear-say I heard from my friend who introduced me to this place. The owner also has/had a bakery that was or is located at the Chase Center!

Jen-Jen B.

Yelp
A few of us in the mood for pork belly came to this place and maaaaaaan, it hit the spot. Had myself some pork belly tacos topped with a fried egg each and some truffle fries. Soooo good! Pork belly lovers delight! Just the wait of it all was my peeve of the day..but it was worth the wait..cause I was hungry!

Lalo T.

Yelp
I can't even lie I loved this place. We would eat here a lot and it's not cheap but I'm ok with that. But this is absolutely ridiculous. How is this acceptable. I'm really disappointed. I hope y'all do better. But y'all might have lost a customer.

Jedith S.

Yelp
I had the pork belly taco and shrimp taco and the shrimp taco was amazing! The pork belly taco was meh- don't come for me! Lol. I know that pork belly is supposed to be fatty but this was just TOO much. :/ I still give it 5 stars bec there's a certain spice that I'm sensitive to that I don't like- maybe it's 5-spice(?) idk but whatever it is it's in the pork belly taco sauce. Next time I'll just opt for the shrimp/avocado tacos. The service and ambiance were really top notch. The girl at the counter was so sweet! I wanted to order everything from that menu and I could not decide- she was incredibly helpful. Def coming back to this place, it's def worth the hype.

Hillary H.

Yelp
Get in my BELLY! I love myself some Asian fusion food. This spot serves more than just tacos and burritos! They have burgers, salads, and a variety of fries. I ordered the Korean Cali Fries (steak, sour cream, lime cilantro crema, pico de gallo, salsa, fried eggs, kimchi, Pork Belly Taco (pork belly, Korean slaw, pickles, kimchi aioli) and Surf Taco (tempura fish, sesame slaw, avocado, pico de Gallo, aioli, spicy crema) the meat is tender and the shrimp pieces are big compared to other spots. The Korean Cali Fries were delicious with the fried egg & kimchi slaw adding so much more depth to the fries. If you like shoestring fries, the Korean Cali Fries are for you! I loved all of the flavors in the tacos. The sauces and crunchy slaw made everything come together so well!

Stephanie N.

Yelp
I have been meaning to try this place for SO LONGGG I'm glad I was able to stop by for lunch with my cousin at long last. For now, they have some outdoor dining and you scan a QR code to look at the menu and order too! You pay through your phone so its all contactless and very efficient. There's some street parking but it's a meter so you have to pay and it can get a tad crowded. They're also dog friendly and I love to see some furry friends! I ordered three different tacos: veggie, pork belly, and surf - veggie: 4/5 I don't usually order tofu but my cousin had suggested it and I'm glad he did! The glaze on the tofu was so scrumptious and left me wanting more. - pork belly: 3/5 The sauce is a bit spicy in a way that you don't notice at first but it really sneaks up on you! The pork belly was a little more tough than I expected it to be and was overall a bit heavy - surf: 5/5 probably my favorite of the bunch!! The fish was crispy and the sauce on top was a perfect complement. it tasted really light and yet was filling at the same time I love how you have the option to get a bowl, burrito, or taco. I believe the bowl is a new addition - my cousin got it and it looked sooooo good. I'm so glad I stopped by and I would love to come back to try other flavors

Tu-Anh N.

Yelp
WHEN: Friday @6:45pm I'm excited to finally try to place! You can order directly from them on through the app ToastTab. Around 6:50pm I wanted to place an order closer to their closing time (8pm) at 7:45pm. But when I place the order, that was it. Says my food will be done in like 10 minutes, which was 7:07pm. There's no going back to change anything. In the app all you can do is call the restaurant. So I called and was immediately put on hold...for quite awhile. Okay so I'm guessing the Belly is super busy so my food can't possibly be done within 10 minutes! 5 minutes have gone by and I was still on hold. I use a different phone to call in but all I receive was a busy tone (not even a ring). Whelp, all I can do now is just head out to pick up my order because what if my food WAS don't at 7:07pm and it's just sitting there getting cold! It was a 15 minute drive to Downtown Oakland. My partner and I went, and with it being around dinner time and restaurant week, we expect there to be a good amount of people in that area picking up food too. Luckily there was one spot in front open, and when I went inside. There was about 2 others inside waiting for their food, and there it was, my order on the counter waiting for me! One of the staff looked busy. I was still on hold, haha. I'm just so happy to have my order and head home! Course with some sanitizing, and transecting everything to plates, I was able to enjoy my food an hour later! Here's what I had: TATER TOTS - $7 Crispy Tater Tots with Shichimi Aioli and Furikake. Whenever I see Tator Tots as an option anywhere I jump for it. It was so delicious even though I wasn't able to eat it until about an hour later, and there was a generous amount of it. The extra special thing about this is the Shichimi Aioli and Furikake topping. Wow it was good. Oh and you get to pick a dipping sauce, which I chose RANCH! This housemaid ranch sauce was so delightful and refreshing--lots of herbs you can taste! I was very happy with my side choice! BELLY TACO - $4.75 House Marinated Steak, Rice, Korean Slaw, Kimchi Aioli. So much wonderful flavors and so good!!! You taste every single ingredient! SURF TACO - $4.75 Tempura Fish, Sesame Slaw, Avocado, Pico de Gallo, Sambal Aioli, Spicy Crema. The tempura fish is a hefty piece and it was good. Crispy and all the sauces with the crunchy slaw made everything come together so well. VEGGIE TACO - $4.50 Fried Tofu, Sweet Chili Glaze, Sesame Slaw, Cucumbers Ahh fried tofu: crispy on the outside, mushy on the inside. Some don't care for it but I dig it! This taco may sound plain and boring its far from it. I really enjoyed it, especially that sweet chili glaze and fresh cucumbers. PORK BELLY BURRITO - $12.95 Spicy Honey Glazed Pork Belly, Sesame Slaw, Pickled Cucumbers, Multigrain Rice. It comes with a dipping sauce and I chose the Salsa Verde, which is mild so my wimpy self can handle. Wow, it was so yummy to dip my burrito in it! As for the burrito, I did expect more of the Gochujang sauce, but I think it was the right amount. I'd like more of that honey glaze though! All in all it was good! Here's a tip: Eat slow. Chew slow. You taste so much in every bite! I loved that these were made in flower tortilla, and I get the impression that no matter which taco I choose, it's gonna be a good one! I"ll need to make another trip soon to try other items...they have so many yummy sounding options!

Daniel S.

Yelp
Flavorful, moderately healthy, quick service! Great lunch spot. Shrimp and Avacado bowl was yummm

Tony L.

Yelp
Went and picked up some grub right after ending a long day at work. Felt like something fusion but also comforting. Being a San Diego native, I was super hyped for the fries (I was reminiscing on the carne asada fries) which ended up being rather lackluster. Average toppings. The corn was very random. The aioli was too tart and overpowering. The marinade of the meat was not particular strong tasting either. Will have to give bonus plus points for an enjoyable fresh guac however. The burrito definitely carries this meal. Shrimp was fresh and had that type of bite you always want. The pink rice was also moist and flavorful. Could taste some ginger in a few bites too. The Korean slaw tied the burrito together into a strong example of how to do Asian Fusion food correctly! Def recommend the burrito, would pass on the fries if I were to come back.

Casey F.

Yelp
Delicious, good grill marks in the tortilla, spicy habanero salsa was fire, chicken stayed crispy

Sasha B.

Yelp
Belly's fusion flavors blend so well, Asian cuisines mix and mingle, all for show. The dishes are good, the prices as well, But too much mayo, oh how it does flow. The flavors, though, they shine above the rest, A balance of sweet, sour, salty, and heat. Each bite a journey through taste and texture, A culinary adventure, hard to beat. Belly is a tasty choice, with value that can't be missed, In Oakland's bustling food scene, they'll impress. So if you're in the mood for something new, Give Belly's fusion a try, it's sure to please.

Paula W.

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch today. The food was delicious. I had the California burrito, but all of the options sounded amazing. It is fast and easy. You use your phone to place your order, and the waitress brings it over. She was kind and helpful. The only downside is the price. It is quite pricey for tacos and burritos, but it is what it is. Can't wait to come back and try other items.

Serena J.

Yelp
Belly scratches the Mexican-fusion-food itch, but doesn't really scratch the Mexican-food itch, you feel? It's fine as long as you know what to expect. There are lots of options for burritos and tacos. None of them are particularly flavorful, but the Asian fusion stuff is interesting. Honorable mention for the fries - shoestring fries have a great surface area:volume ratio.

Edwin F.

Yelp
Belly uptown is a nice joint with a nice deco & styling. The food... even better! I went with the shrimp & avocado and steak & eggs taco w/ Korean Cali fries. I gotta sat, the taste was phenomenal and flavor packed and not over the top. The Korean Cali Fries were nice with the egg & kimchi slaw adding so much more depth to the fries. I definitely liked the steak & eggs taco the most since the egg just gave that extra flavor & creaminess to the taco itself. Definitely would like to come by again and try the burrito since it looked so delicious.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Hurry and get in my BELLY I LOVE tacos! I'm always down to try new spots. When I heard about this spot I thought it was interesting and different. I ordered the belly cali fries, steak + egg taco, pork belly taco, southwest taco and surf taco. They were all different and unique. I love how each one had so much flavor to it. My friends all recommended that I go here and order their popular dishes. Which of course I did. Nothing disappointed me! Only thing was that it's a bit on the pricy end. Also this was before quarantine happened

Darien H.

Yelp
Belly is very consistent, they never get my delivery orders wrong and the flavor is always top notch. I've visited the other location too and it's always a welcoming peaceful, enjoyable meal. I saw some complaints about prices but I think they deserve their prices, it's tough to be any kind of business let alone in the Bay and I think I they bring a fresh take on this cuisine and fusion.

Teena N.

Yelp
This place does not disappoint. My friend actually recommended it to me. So glad he did! I came here twice, once to dine in (right before SIP) and another time during COVID-19 to take out, The food is so delicious. I've had the burritos, all the tacos, and the fries. The truffle fries are Phenomenal! If you like the truffle taste, of course. Definitely try their sauces too! I enjoyed the habanero one, it's sweet and super spicy. The green one is fresh and not spicy. And their seasonal lemonade, oh my gosh, their lemonade is just something else. They really got it down here. I will definitely be coming back. Customer service is cool here too. They got that chill vibe.

Yelp
This review is solely based on the food that I had. I ordered (1) shrimp + avocado taco and (1) surf "fish" taco. Both proteins were fried but not crunchy. The taco shell was too thick for my liking. The slaw would've been better if it had texture. The aioli's were okay. The taco needed some heat to amp the flavor. Overall, I wouldn't order again.

Yelp
I love my fries. I love carne asada fries. So naturally when I saw that this was Asian fusion, I had to try it! They are open during covid-19 where you can order take out on the Caviar app. Once you arrive you can walk in and pick up your order, or you can call them to bring it out curbside. The Belly Cali fries were an elevated version of carne asada fries. WOW! The lime flavor was such a great added tangy touch, and the texture of the fries were just perfect. Shoestring fries are my favorite version of French fries and that was what they used! My mouth is still watering just thinking about how delicious this was. The California burrito is not the biggest burrito I've seen, but it was heavy and filled with the goods! The flavor was also super delicious and it did not disappoint! Definitely will be back.
