Great dining experience, friendly staff, good food. It is at a good location, to have lunch after spending day at one world observatory and 9/11 memorial museum. Their portion sizes were good too.

We had an amazing experience working with Benares for catering on our film shoot. They helped us organize food for a 30-person crew, and everyone was thrilled with the delicious spread. We served butter chicken, white rice, and vegetable samosas—everything was flavorful, comforting, and super satisfying. The staff was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating throughout the process. Highly recommend Benares for any event catering or to dine in! Great food, great people, great experience!

Google
Absolutely delicious Indian and Southeast Asian Cuisine! The butter chicken is moist and flavorful. The samosas have a flaky yet tender crust with a fresh and well seasoned potatoes & peas filling. The garlic naan is so fragrant and soft, the perfect vehicle to dip in the butter chicken. Oh and their sauces are freshly made and among the best we have tasted. Don’t forget their mango lassi, it’s a winner every time.

Went for my 25th birthday dinner and though it was a Friday night, they weren't too busy. The service was attentive, thoughtful, and honestly just a very pleasant time—not to mention the incredible food. Spicy, well-balanced, and probably some of the best Indian food I've had in the city. Definitely the best Chicken 65 I've ever had in my life. Also ordered a cocktail and the tropical flavors paired perfectly with the cuisine. Will be back, and I recommend you go, too.

Great Indian food. Aldi was our server and very friendly service. Will come back again.

Google
Dined in on a Friday and had the lunch special - samosas, chicken Andhra curry (curry leaves and coconut milk base), garlic naan and a small rice pudding for dessert. I was stuffed! I loved the atmosphere, it was calm yet lively. Lots of Indian families eating lunch (always a good sign) and it’s a huge airy space compared to most other restaurants in NYC. I felt very comfortable dining solo. At 3pm they have drinks specials and would definitely come back for that! The staff were kind, courteous and so sweet!

Honestly, this place is such a hidden gem! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food is amazing, the drinks too. Plus, it’s halal. I love how comfy the seating is, and the whole atmosphere makes you feel like part of the family. They remember their customers and always go above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Google
Benares has become one of our favorite places to dine, and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. My partner and I have been several times, and each experience is just as special as the last. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and intimate. Would be perfect for a date night or a quiet evening out. The staff is always welcoming, attentive, and professional. Their hospitality truly enhances the experience. The food is phenomenal. Every dish is beautifully presented, perfectly spiced, and full of flavor. Whether we stick to our favorites or try something new, the quality is always consistent and impressive. The drinks are just as memorable. The cocktails are creative, balanced, and pair so well with the food. You can tell the bar program is thoughtfully curated. We’ve enjoyed everything from their signature cocktails to the well selected wines. Benares continues to impress us each time we go. It’s a place that never disappoints, and we always look forward to our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates amazing food, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere.

Yelp
Food - impeccable Service - unmatched Truly unreal experience, 12/10 Got Tikka masala and butter chicken - waiter recommended korma instead, it was banging.

Yelp
We were a party of 3 adults and 1 child, here on our NYC trip recently. We ordered a kachori, a paneer dish, roti, naan, and a yellow daal - basically, quintessential Indian fare - nothing out of the ordinary. Yet, service took forever. When the food came in, it tasted decent, nothing to complain about, but also nothing to rave about. I will say that the kachori shell was not crispy. But what took the cake is that the bill had an added 18% gratuity. For 4 people. I am a person that usually tips at least 20 %, and if you do something as simple as pay attention to refill my glass of water when it is almost empty, I'll gladly give you a 25% tip. I'm super easy to please, really. But this 'automatic' 18% 'gratuity' rubbed me the wrong way. I went ahead and questioned the wait staff why they would do this. The waiter actually said, "because there are some people who will just not tip". He even mentioned a race of folks that 'usually don't tip', but I don't think it's worth even talking about here. Another waiter said, "The system adds it randomly. If you don't want to pay, we will take it off". I call BS on it. I ended up keeping my standards and ended up paying the 'automatically added 18% gratuity' anyway. In one sentence: go here for passable Indian food, but be careful about randomly added gratuities and fight for your rights as a customer.

Yelp
3.5 stars, but rounded up to 4 because their lunch specials are a good deal. Masala chai was super watered down, but the chicken tikka masala was tasty. We also had a shrimp curry that was really delicious and full of coconut flavor. Garlic naan wasn't buttery or garlicky enough for me. I do love that the lunch special comes with a lentil soup or samosa. I picked the soup and flavor was good, but wish there was a little more texture. I also enjoyed the dessert. Service was friendly and we had no trouble getting a table during the weekday lunch hour.

Yelp
Great neighborhood Indian food spot with good lunch special. Food and service are very good. Takeout is good also. Lovely minimalist decor inside although the exterior door doesn't reflect inside. Great booths for groups.

Yelp
This wonderful Indian restaurant is worth frequenting often. The relaxed atmosphere, the attentive service, the delicious food will bring me here over and over again. The maitre d made us immediately feel like we were family. My son was excited to order a rose lasse, drink that has become rare to find but is on this menu and we were not disappointed -- it was perfect. As were the samosas, the best tikki masala we've had so far in Manhattan, and the tandori chicken was moist and flavorful. Plus the prices were very affordable, especially since the portions were so generous we'll be having left overs in our salad tonight. I HIGHLY recommend. There was absolutely nothing to complain about and a wonderful time was had by all. Enjoy!!

Yelp
Entryway and bar smell like sewage which wafts through the dining room. Don't dine here if you are sensitive to bad smells. Food was competent Indian food at downtown prices ($15 small apps, $25 regular-portion entrees with no naan included). No deal to be had here. Service was very good.

Yelp
I dined at this delightful Indian restaurant with a large group for my belated birthday dinner. Upon entering, the hostess gave me a warm welcome and wished me a "Happy Birthday." The interior was spacious with a bar area in the front and comfortable booth seating inside. There was low lighting and a sophisticated air to the place, along with a calm, peaceful atmosphere. Of course I started with the Mango Lassi, which was wonderfully thick, smooth, creamy with true mango taste. For sides, I had the Masala Fries and Garlic Naan. The fries were amazingly crispy and well seasoned with a bold mixture of spices, including garlic, chili, and more. I wasn't really a fan of the Garlic Naan, because there wasn't enough garlic. I got to try my friend's Poori made with wheat flour, which was oh so addicting. It had a perfectly golden brown, crunchy exterior with irresistibly puffy soft interior, along with a wonderful savory flavor. I ordered the Mixed Grill for my entree, which came with tandoori salmon, lamb, shrimp and chicken. The salmon was my favorite. It was tender, flaky, and full of flavor. The lone shrimp was tasty and definitely would have liked more. There were 2 types of chicken (with and without bone), which was slightly charred, juicy, as well as succulent. Last, the ground lamb was pretty good, but the way the lamb was prepared is not my favorite. I think there could have been a bit more shrimp, and less chicken. Dessert was Rose Ice Cream Meltdown, which was accompanied with chocolate lava cake. This was beautifully plated with raspberry syrup surrounding the ice cream and cake in the shape of a flower. I simply loved how pink the ice cream was. The only thing it was missing was a lit birthday candle. The rose ice cream was velvety smooth with delicate taste, while the cake was rich, sweet, oozing with warm chocolate center. Service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and took care of the group with ease. Pricing was surprisingly reasonable, especially for the area. I would definitely return and would like to try the Goan Salmon Curry, Lamb Korma and Rose Lassi.

Yelp
Benares Indian Restaurant, in Tribeca, NYC, Located in the heart of Tribeca, Benares stands out as an exceptional Indian cuisine jewel in the vibrant culinary scene of downtown Manhattan. named after a city in northern India, the restaurant centers on the lush spices and abundant diversity of Indian cuisine. We tried Drinks Lychee lover - alcoholic Mango lassi - non alcoholic Appetizers Khasta Gobi Chicken 65 Entree: Saag Paneer Chicken Dum Biryani in clay pot with naan in top Lamb Rogan Josh Garlic naan Plain naan Peas Pulao Dessert Rose ice cream The robust menu is almost overwhelming, and yet authentic serving contemporary Indian cuisine. Do not skip chicken 65 , Lamb rogan Josh, Chicken Dum biryani or the saag paneer they have an ample selection for both non vegetarian, vegetarian and couple of vegan options like Khasta Gobi ( cauliflower) all are stand-out options that deserves attention. Finish off with refreshing rose petal ice cream. The ambience strikes a perfect balance of serenity and sophistication. Staff's knowledge and recommendations are much appreciated. With its flavorful food, attentive service, and tranquil setting, Benares has carved out a niche for itself as a must-visit Indian restaurant in NYC.

Yelp
Ok so the service was excellent. Our waiter was great and very accommodating. Food was ok. We def enjoyed the dal Makhani, it was very flavorful but again lacked spice. Malai kebabs were tender but lacked salt spice and flavor. Butter chicken was good with garlic naan. The Naan after 5 min of being on the table, became crispy and hard to break. I think this is catered towards non-Indians and/or who cannot endure spice. Oh and by the way we did request for food to be spicy and with assurance I can say it wasn't.

Yelp
We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday - so I'll start with the service first. One of the fastest service I've experienced. The food has always been good - a bit oily sometimes - but hey, all good things are oily! ;) Ambiance was pretty nice too, given it was a weekday! Quite for most of the time with good Indian background music.

Yelp
Wow! This is a restaurant not to miss. From the amazing food to the server Harish C., our experience was amazing start to finish. Service was wonderful and Harish our server even put a candle on the rasmala for desert and sang happy birthday with me for my sisters birthday. Such a fun and special touch! Food wise. Appetizers (pakoras and samosas) were so good and fresh! Chicken tikka masala with lemon rice was fragrant and hit the spot along with a beautiful light and airy poori! Comfortable and homey neighborhood vibe. Clean and you could hear yourself talk. We had a fabulous experience and can't wait to be back. If you want unpretentious, delicious Indian food with warm service and a cozy atmosphere... this is for you. Thank you for making our night special, Harish!

Yelp
Is it the greatest Indian in nyc? Far from it. Does it get the job done? Sure. Honestly, its probably only worth it to order to home from here, not eat in house. We didn't really have one waiter which made it hard to order. Once our food came out, within 10 minutes multiple serves didnt even ask but tried to take our plates away. We literally had full plates and full mouths and they asked if we were done. Then different servers continued to do this every 5 minutes. For a pretty empty restaurant, it was weird. They didnt need the table but proceeded to rush us to finish our apps and entrees. At first it was odd, then it was rude. The food was simply not good enough to come back and endure that again.

Yelp
Delicious meal with so much flavor! Currently there is construction outside so kind of missed it. Inside is pretty spacious, bathrooms downstairs. My friend ordered the goat curry and I tried the okra & saag paneer. I definitely recommend the saag paneer and the laacha paratha bread, so good! Staff were really friendly, it was my friend's birthday and they gave complimentary rose ice cream with candle. Made the night extra special!

Yelp
Not good. Go to any other indian place for actual decent indian food. Had the chilli chicken and garlic naan. Service was extremely slow for a weekend evening. Sad. Hope to see this one go in place for something better. Bye

Yelp
came for dinner on Holi with some of my desi girl friends to celebrate the festival of colors! we choose Benares since they had a reasonably priced menu and could accommodate a large party! the restaurant was relatively empty so it was great for us as it was a monday night. immediately upon entering we were seated at our table. one of my cons is the servers took forever to initially get us water we started with aloo tikki and chaat - portions were quite small but we ordered 2 of each for the table. food was exactly what we expected so no surprises here - all very delicious for mains we got lamb biryani which had all the flavors plus tender lamb. chili paneer which was my fav - remotely spicy and tons of veggies - so so good. this plus raita and garlic naan was mouth watering. i really wanted a dal makhani but it wasnt as flavorful as i had in previous places so i would say skip that. chicken tikka masala also wasnt as flavorful, but the lemon rice and butter chicken we ordered were totally worth it. would def return and recommend to friends!

Yelp
This place was a gem! We stumbled upon it when looking for a quick reasonable dinner option near city hall on our way home. Very roomy restaurant, with mostly Southeast Asian clientele, which reassured us. There was no need for reservations on a Sunday evening. The two of us shared the baby eggplant curry and coconut crab curry with naan and rice. We ended up ordering additional naan because there was a good amount of food. Flavors were sharp, nuanced and well balanced. I was especially happy with the crab curry which is not a common dish offered in local restaurants. My only complaint is that the baby eggplant was cooked whole, which is well and good, until you get a really tough stem and you have to fish it out of your mouth. I'd hope they remedy this in the future. Or maybe your date will understand.

Yelp
Great spot with a good lunch prix fixe menu ($15.95) - lunch came with an appetizer (I got a samosa), entree, rice, naan, and a dessert. They have many vegetarian options as well as vegan and made it easier to ask for the vegan ones. Everything was delicious and the portions are a good size for the price. Very nice staff and quick service during lunchtime. They have a bit of outdoor seating but mostly indoor.

Yelp
I really wish I could give half star credits since I believe this establishment deserves a 4.5. The Goan Salmon Curry was absolutely amazing! Very smooth and seasoned well! Super filling, along with having an appetizer, garlic naan , and the dessert, Rose ice cream meltdown (flawless infusion of rose flavor and I think fried rose bits inside!). Points are deducted for the sheer number of mixed pakoras since it was very hard to justify the few number of (albeit delicious) veggie "tempura" style without other garnishes or decoration to hide the minimalism. The service was INCREDIBLE! I really appreciate Ramita and Damien for being super attentive and friendly (Ramita also had great drink recs!) The ambiance is nice and sleek - very upscale but still able to properly honor its Indian heritage. The Pulsd coupon was amazing to get to try so many great items off the menu (highly recommend using it for dinner).

Yelp
This was the perfect place to go after a long, cold, and rainy day sightseeing. We decided on this restaurant because we wanted comfort food and it had good reviews. This restaurant not only had the most friendly staff, but the food felt like a big warm hug. Harish was an excellent waiter. He gave us suggestions and brought us some dessert to try! Overall, a wonderful experience. 1000/10 recommend if you want some yummy Indian food.

Yelp
Incredible food and service! Everyone was so friendly and helpful and offered excellent suggestions!! Highly recommend checking this place out, you wont regret it!

Yelp
This our go-to restaurant for reasonably priced and well executed Indian food. The service and ambience are above average.

Yelp
I've come here a few times for their brunch and it's an amazing deal. If you have a puls'd account, the deal is even better - I'd definitely recommend the boozy brunch. I've had the paneer pizza twice and it's chefs kiss, the flavors are immaculate and the naan is so soft but also well cooked. Although I wish the bottom was a little more firm. My friend had the chicken version of the pizza and he loved it just as much. I also tend to love Indian fusion food, but I've had their traditional North Indian food which is also great. A lot of Indian restaurants dilute their flavor with heavy cream and butter but this place is not like that. I only wish it was closer to my apartment so I could go more often. I like their food so much I'm catering them for my wedding!! Service is great and staff is friendly. I've only gone twice and both times it was a bit quite so ambiance was fine.

Emily H.

Yelp
10/10 lamb korma and we tried another savory lamb dish. We got garlic naan and masala fries which were both excellent. The service was also very friendly and attentive!

Shaun F.

Yelp
The food is amazing. The service was great. I highly recommend it. Perfect for a family visit or a friend outing

Yelp
I'm surprised there weren't more people here because the food was REALLY GOOD. My friends and I came here yesterday and they had run out out of one of the drink ingredients. The employee ran out to one of the nearby grocery stores so that he could still make the drink which was really nice of him! My boyfriend and I shared the Butter Chicken, Spicy Naan and Lamb Vindaloo. Everything was delicious and super flavorful/saucy. The lamb definitely had quite the kick to it, but I thought it was delicious. They also provide free rice/peas which is great. Overall, really yummy!

Yelp
Lentil soup was devoid of lentils and samosas were incredibly dry. When I asked for a spoon, they seemed extremely put off and then gave me two forks. The entryway also reeked of urine. I wouldn't go back here even if it was to take a dump.

Yelp
Love the prix fixe lunch special. Came with a colleague and we both got the vegetarian option - a steal for $15. The lunch comes with choice of appetizer, an entree, naan, daal, and rice. Holy heck there was a ton to eat between the two of us. Among the favorites was the paneer tikka. Incredibly kind service but had to ask for a few things multiple times. Could've been due to the lunch rush. Will be back to try more options.
google avatar

Yelp
It was my first time here recently and left mighty impressed by Benares. They claim to have some unique cuisine from Benares. I tried the paneer tikka which was well cooked and soft. The baingan and Mirchi ka salan was spicy and delicious (it was a favorite). The garlic naan was soft and warm, raita was nice and I relished the peas pulao rice. Overall, an interesting restaurant that doesn't serve just the typical North Indian fare, but has some unique hard to find flavors. Service was friendly and polite. I left impressed and will come here again with friends and office colleagues.

Yelp
I first signed up with yelp when the Internet was soaring upwards, filling out my profile I was prompted with a question: what would your last meal on Earth be? Without hesitation I wrote, "Good Indian Food." Well let me just say it now-- this is as good as it gets and in the canopy of excellent Indian cuisine I have had. For starters we ordered the vegetable samosas and Chaat, both of which were outstanding. For entrees, my wife ordered the Butter Chicken and I-- my usual-- lamb vindaloo. Once again, both outstanding and I must say, this for me was my favorite of all time. Finishing off for desert we had to have the Kulfi, and this one was delicious. I was also impressed with the wine list and a Pinot Grigio paired so well. The restaurant is modern in decor, super clean with excellent lighting. Playing in the background was my favorite Pandora stream (MNDR). The staff is so accommodating, courteous, professional, and friendly that you never want to leave. Can't wait to return here.

Yelp
I love this place - it's one of my two go-to Indian places in FiDi/Tribeca. The Paneer Tikka is an excellent appetizer - perfectly tender but still flavorful. I appreciate the mint and tamarind chutney that accompanies these dishes. As a main, I always order the Navratan korma - it's a sweet and savory gravy with vegetables, and I always add Paneer. The naan is soft and fresh, with generous amounts of butter or topping. The garlic naan is perfectly seasoned. But my favorite is the Mint laccha paratha - super flaky with generous dried mint and ghee on top. For dessert, I always order the moong daal halwa - think sweet and rich carmelized prridge, with raisins and nuts inside. I always get a variation of this meal, and always leave feeling full and happy. The service is always on point, too - the staff are friendly, and some even have a sense of humor, which is refreshing. And the ambience is great for a date - with mood lighting, and soft instrumental music at a reasonable volume such that you can have a proper conversation without having to raise your voice. This place is a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it.

Yelp
Great location in tribeca. This is a great lunch option. Inside is a full dining room, but I got takeout. Service was kind and attentive. I got the chicken 65 and a side of rice, which was so delicious. The spice and mix of peppers were amazing. Would definitely go again

Jacqueline E.

Yelp
Incredible!!!!!! It's seriously the best Indian food and the servers were so personable and attentive the whole time and even gave us dessert on the house! They do takeout but I think it's worth dining in for the best dining ambiance/experience. My must-orders: masala chai, tikka masala, Lamb vindaloo, chicken biryani, and kadai paneer!

Pritam D.

Yelp
I am not sure what has attracted this place with 4 star yelp rating. Recently visited this place and found the food to be terrible in taste. Ordered chicken tikka masala, laal maas, onion and potato kulcha and peas pulao. Chicken tikka masala and laal maas was terrible. Both the curries had an aroma of raw tomato puree. I wish they used sone actual tomato/tomato paste in laal maas at the very least which was full of red food colour. Chicken tikka masala had dry chicken pieces, very less flavour and the same uncooked taste of raw tomato puree. Peas pulao was dripping in oil. We were hardly able to enjoy it with oil drenched at the bottom of the serving vessel. It might have been a bad day for the restaurant but I would avoid visiting this place again

Yelp
Awesome food. Gotten great takeout several times and went for a sit down meal last week. Everything we've ever had has been flavorful and delicious, and there are also a number of dishes here that we tried for the first time. The eggplant appetizer is absolutely amazing. Never had anything quite like it. The malai kofta is probably the best I've ever had. Tandoori chicken appetizer was flavorful and perfectly cooked. We'd never heard of Laal Maans and decided to give it a try - this was a good decision. Service was good, ambiance was pleasant. Definitely will go back.

Yelp
My wife and I lived in Asia for over a decade. Had great Indian food throughout the region. Finally! We found a great place in NYC! Highly recommended. Great food, great service. What else is there to ask for? Taj Mahal beer??? Well, they got it! And I must say the interior design made the experience comfortable.

Yelp
I came in with high expectations, especially since one of my friends visited last year and spoke very highly of this place. It's unfortunate that we both left somewhat disappointed; with her apologizing to our group saying it was much better the last time she came. It wasn't terrible, but overall, there was a lot left to be desired. We were a party of 6 and booked in advance. When arrived though, we were told a couple times (before even ordering) that due to a busy evening and high expected number of bookings, we were limited to 90 mins - with the clock starting as soon as our food arrived. I understand the reasoning behind this, but it would've been nice to have known this at the time of booking, as we were a large group and wanted to take our time. In the end, we only spent 1 hour at the restaurant, but felt obligated to rush our food as soon as it arrived - not the best experience. Food servings were generous in size and I particularly liked the garlic naan. Note, rice is included with the curry entrees, so no need to order separately (this is not clear on the menu). The Goat Dum Biriyani looked incredible when it arrived. I've not seen biriyani prepared like this before but it was certainly a pleasant surprise. As for the negatives - the staff had forgotten about our drinks orders, so they came around 5 mins after we had started eating our mains. We had two orders of Chicken Tikka Masla and one Butter Chicken which we realized at the end, they were mixed up (they served 2 butter chicken and 1 chicken tikka masala). We realized this as 'butter chicken' was spicier than the tikka masala. The vindaloo was interesting - very generous amounts of vegetable, but I found it to be too sour and not spicy or fragrant enough. I think this place has potential and am assuming the food/service was off as they were catering to a wedding party that night. Next time I'm in the area, I'd be willing to give it another shot!

Yelp
Three and 3/4 stars. Looking for a different taste from hot dogs and pizza or fast food. Skipped lunch so I was starving. Found this little cute Indian restaurant on the way home and decided to just try it. The ambiance is nice as the staff. Very kind and accommodating. I ordered to my hearts content and in the end I was pretty happy. The food came out quickly and it was convenient to ask for take home of the leftovers. It was a good change up from your regular choices and as I said it was very near the house In addition please make sure to see that they already add a 18% tip. We didn't notice until we got home because we also added a tip. Usually I don't see a tip added for 2 people but they do here. I think the bathroom needs some uplifting. It was very scary to go downstairs and have holes in the wall and the light flickering on and off, mainly off. Please fix this for a bathroom is just as important as a restaurant for peace and comfort. Thank you

Yelp
I found this place close to my office. They had a prefixed lunch special. I chose the protein option and started with a chicken appetizer. My main course was chicken tiki and I upgraded to the garlic naan. The flavors were so delicious! The presentation was colorful and appealing. The naan was fresh and warm with the right amount of balance of garlic. The portions were perfect for lunch and I was starving so I cleaned my plate. I'm so full I definitely won't be eating dinner. The service was very fast and professional. My waitress was very sweet and filled my water glass for me because it was another hot and steamy summer day. I finished with the rice pudding which lacked substance, presentation and consistency. I'll be back because I want to try some other dishes because the menu is quite extensive.

Yelp
We had an incredible meal at Benares during our last NYC visit. They were able to accommodate our family of 10 (walk-in) right away. We ordered a bunch different items daal, palak paneer, butter chicken and a variety of naans. Everything was great and tons of leftovers for the next day!

Yelp
Great food, with lovely flavours and a twist on some traditional dishes. The Goan shrimp curry was delicious! The staff are lovely and after a couple of visits you're part of the family. A really great gem near Chambers St.

Yelp
From the time my online order was accepted to the time my food was delivered was only 12 minutes. So I definitely don't the food is made to order. And the chicken tikka malai was pink in the middle! Never again.

Yelp
I came here one night and it was quite crowded, so even though we had a reservation, they still limited how long we would be able to stay. The food took quite a while to come out, which I guess was because there was a very large wedding party here that night. The food was average quality and definitely on the more expensive side. I ordered butter chicken and my friend ordered Tikka masala and I'm almost sure they mixed up our orders.

Yelp
Went for lunch with my sister. The staff made sure we were comfortable and were very attentive. The food was delicious. I ordered chicken korma, samosas and garlic naan. We also loved how spacious the place was. I will definitely return for the happy hour deals.

Yelp
Great food. They recommended foods we've never tried before and we were happy with the choices. They were very accommodating helping our 95year old father who has limited mobility and vision. All in all a very nice evening and dinner.

Yelp
A pretty good deal for a work day lunch especially for the area. This is the most home-y Indian food I've had in the city so far. Even the rice and naan tasted less oily or seasoned compared to other restaurants. The saag paneer and chicken tikka masala were ok, but the papdi chaat was pretty good! Mango lassi was too thick though it was almost impossible to drink Overall I think the cleanliness and service can also use some improvement and it will become a nice option for lunch near the office!
