Google
Way better than all the major Korean BBQ spots in Duluth. Can’t believe this kind of quality is right here in Buckhead. We had no idea this place was just 5 minutes from home. This place is Korean owned. The chef is from the original 9292 team from a comment I read on here so we already trusted the food would be good before walking in. As soon as we stepped inside, the smell of the cooking meat was amazing. The decor is super clean and well done. We’ve always had to make the drive to Duluth to get our Korean BBQ fix, but this spot honestly blows them out of the water. All the side dishes and marinades are made in-house by the chef, and you can really taste the difference. The meat was cooked perfectly, the portions were generous, and the service was fast and friendly. Bathrooms were spotless too, which is always a good sign. They’ve got great lunch specials starting at $11.99 which is a steal for the quality you get. Now that we found this place, we’ll probably be coming back weekly.

Came for my birthday & was not disappointed! Best Korean BBQ I’ve had 🤤Everything is cooked & seasoned for you. Rob was excellent & made the experience 10/10. The ice cream with honey smackers & orange marmalade was unexpectedly delicious & I will be attempting a recreation at home. Skip all the other places & come here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Google
Grade = B+ We went for lunch and selected the $49.99 all-you-can eat option, which includes a wide variety of beef, pork, and chicken cuts. While not spectacular, Bene delivered a good experience. The BBQ was well seasoned and flavorful, and the sides were fairly abundant. Their ambiance is modern and stylish, and the service was courteous. Our favorite option in the all-you-can-eat menu was the fruit-infused Bulgogi. Very good! We were only disappointed by the one extra appetizer we ordered – their Korean Fried Chicken (sweet soy option). Bland and nothing special. Ultimately it was good value for money – before tipping, we paid $125 for a two-person meal (AYCE for 2, one extra appetizer, only water, no alcohol or dessert).

Google
This Korean BBQ spot offers a stylish, modern atmosphere with high-quality meats and flavorful sides that make it a standout spot for Korean barbecue. I had one of the lunch specials; the brisket box, which was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. While I usually steer clear of salads, their version, was topped with sweet fruit pieces, which was was surprisingly good. This also came with soup and a couple other sides. The service is attentive, and the overall experience was satisfying. Just a heads-up: tackling the all-you-can-eat meat alone is a challenge—tjere is a minimum of two required so you might need to bring a friend for backup! All-in-all, this was my first time here and it was a great experience - I'll definitely be back!

Google
This place amazes me every time I visit! I live in Duluth, and whenever I head to downtown, I always stop by this Korean BBQ restaurant. It has a luxurious atmosphere with stylish interior design. The side dishes are always fresh, well prepared, and absolutely delicious. The quality of the meat is top notch, and everything tastes incredible! The servers are all friendly, and the owner is exceptionally thoughtful and kind. I highly recommend this place!

This place was extremely delicious. We chose the “all you can eat” option and it’s great value. Our server Theresa was excellent. The staff was super nice. I will go back to this place.

Only had a chance to get takeout today, but the food is great! Honestly, I wasn’t expecting too much since they are in Buckhead, but their food is authentic and tastes delicious . I ordered the galbi box, beef & seafood tofu soup, bulgogi bibimbap, and beef short rib stew, all were amazing. Their banchan is 10/10. I was kind of thrown off by the pink/purple salad dressing but it’s addicting 🤤 The gentleman in the front was kind and even helped me bring my order to my car, which i thought was very sweet. I will definitely return to Bene KBBQ for a team dinner!

Came for dinner with a party of 2 and couldnt of asked for a better service experience. Excellent staff with excellent food. We ordered the 49.99 all you can eat and got brisket, pork belly, seasoned steak, stew, and corn. All dishes and proteins were amazing.

Yelp
My 10 yr old wants to give it 6 stars even though he knows it's it possible. The enthusiasm from him is overwhelming and I'd ask him to stop but he's got some solid points. The service here is amazing. They go above and beyond to ensure the experience is top notch. Shout out to the entire team. The quality of meat is great it's by far the best Korean BBQ inside the perimeter. The others inside of Atlanta usually struggle with quality of meat and quality of side dishes. The prices are definitely higher than other bbq spots but it is in the city the atmosphere is much more upscale and the service is much more attentive. My kid says it's definitely worth the money as he walked to the bathroom as the check was dropped (cheap ass). The fact that they have a full bar now is nice and will definitely start to draw more people to the Korean bbq world. Lindbergh is headed in a nice direction. Little fancy Buford highway in the city.

Yelp
Really wanted to LOVE this place because I LOVE Korean bbq and was so excited to try out a new spot outside of Duluth. Here's my breakdown on why I felt like I had to leave such a low star review: For starters the price of the set we ordered was $329.99 all beef to serve 4-5 people. We had 3 people and ate almost all of the meat. The meat quality was not bad and they had a great selection of cuts included, but for the price of it... I would have rather gone to kangs kitchen or 9292, you can get sets there for the same quantity and quality at a much lower price. The banchans were disappointing and dishes such as rice, stew, corn cheese, and egg soufflé were all an additional cost. Again, I just do not feel the cost was justified. Our servers were great and the interior was aesthetically pleasing, but I don't think I would visit again.

Yelp
For the past few years, I've been rooting for the Uptown development to take off. Arguably one of the best locations in Atlanta due to the property being equidistant from the cores of Midtown and Buckhead AND it being a major transfer point along the MARTA rail system. For some reason (likely due to the high volumes of strip clubs and 24/7 happy ending spas) this area hasn't taken off... That is until Bene arrived I heard glowing reviews from this platform and I LOVE Korean BBQ. I starved myself for most of the day just so I could properly enjoy this experience. A friend and I decided to split the beef & pork combo ($119) and we of course got bottle after bottle of deliciously sweet and slightly minacious soju (they have every flavor you can imagine here!!). I know that seems expensive - but you candidly get what you pay for. First, all the sides came out. I'm a true believer in judging a Korean BBQ place's merit by the attention to detail an establishment places on its sides. The accompaniments here were the tastiest I've had out of any KBBQ place I've ever been. Special attention has to be given to the tofu stew - which had such a rich depth of flavor I almost shed a tear. You get 3 salads here and all of them were conscientiously dressed and varied in both texture and flavor profiles, creating a gradient from slightly bitter to moderately sweet. These salads provided an excellent caesura between copious amounts of meat eating. Now to the headliner - THE MEAT. I said previously you get what you pay for here. The $120 combo left me breathless in terms of both the variety and quality of the meat (and matsutake mushrooms!!) This is honestly one of the first times I walked away from a KBBQ experience and felt blissfully satisfied and not like I was hanging on for dear life like a bloated tick. The beef they use was succulent and lean (not the cheap stuff that's speckled in fat and tendon that you'll get at those $45 AYCE places). The pork belly almost brought me to my knees in a state of either intense prayer or passionate lust. Since we're in the Lindbergh / Cheshire Bridge neighborhood, it was probably the latter. Bene is a destination restaurant in one of the most convenient areas to get to in all of metro Atlanta. I urge everyone to visit this sanctuary of meat and Soju.

Yelp
I've visited Bene Korean BBQ twice for lunch, and both times have been great. The restaurant's elegant ambiance, with its minimal yet classy decor, sets a refined tone. Service was consistently excellent during both of my visits. I've particularly enjoyed the Dol-Sot Bibimbap with Spicy Pork ($14.99). The dish had a vibrant mix of fresh vegetables, and the spicy sauce provided a satisfying kick. I've also enjoyed the Chicken Bulgogi Box ($13.99) and the Korean Fried Chicken ($11.99). The chicken was juicy and flavorful in both of these entrees. My partner absolutely loves the Galbi Lunch Box ($18.99). The beef short ribs were perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection. All of our entrees were accompanied by a hearty soup, a refreshing salad with a wonderfully sweet dressing, and three flavorful side dishes. Personally, I think compared to the other options in Atlanta, Bene is an awesome choice for Korean food.

Yelp
Came here on our anniversary and it was a worthy occasion. The service was spot on and no stone was left unturned. Most K-pot places rely on the quality of ingredients and not seasoning the layers. This place is a wonderful exception. The marinated pieces were amazing and the sides (corn and macaroni salad) were of equal value. This can get expensive, but it is worth exactly what they're asking for it.

Yelp
The food was very fresh and the meat selection had a lot of different variety. The service was okay but our waiter burned our meat slightly at the start and it was a bit charred. I also wish that they marinated the meat a bit more because for the 2-3 people beef set, only 1-2 meats were marinated and the others tasted a bit plain even with the sauce because there was no flavor inside. The 2-3 set is enough for the 4 of us and we also enjoyed the sides.

Yelp
We loved this!! First time having Korean bbq it was so good!! Our service was great, and the restaurant was very nice! Definitely would love to come back.

Yelp
I think I was the first customer this place had. I love Korean BBQ, and I waited around a year for this place to open up. Good long wait. Was it worth it? Well, the service was excellent. Very eager to please. The food was tasty, but I could only order a few apps rather than the repast I had my heart set on. Even as a foody fan of the cuisine, I can't really see me being a regular. It is exhorbitantly expensive. I think the cheapest BBQ offering was $120, and the high emd goes past $300. That kind of flat pricing will not work here. To survive, this restaurant has to adjust its model. Charge by the plate or by the head. This will accommodate curious walk-ins rather than scare them away. Also, have more diverse offerings. Finally, push the liquor and accept that it is the real money-maker in a joint like this, with the BBQ being something of a loss leader. Lots of luck to this establishment. I hope they can pivot.

Yelp
Finally got to try this new elevated Korean Steakhouse in Buckhead! The meat was perfectly prepared, I tried cuts like the marinated galbi and tomahawk steak, and they are grilled to melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The butter shrimp is rich and flavorful, and the seafood pancake is a must-try, with its thick, crispy texture and generous portions of seafood, including oysters! Will definitely come back!

Yelp
Bene is located on Main Street in Buckhead, next door to 26 Thai, Bene will be one of the many new restaurants coming to this block, maybe a new restaurant row. Walking into Bene you are immediately impressed with the size and the elegant surroundings. It had a dark but inviting atmosphere. The place is new so not crowded, we had the owner help with our choices for dinner. Korean BBQ, is cooked in front of you on your own private table. We had the beef and pork offerings. Everything was tasty, we also had a good bottle of wine at a reasonable price, no gauging!!!. We had a party of four, and everyone left satisfied. Definitely will return!!

Yelp
My Korean friend said the Korean food in Atlanta tastes better than LA. I had to give it a try. Parking was easy in the garage (not validated). The restaurant is big and has a nice ambiance. The mgr (I think her name is Lisa) made me a really delicious lychee cocktail to my liking. We ordered a set for 2. They did not disappoint. The meat quality was good and they cook it for you. The executive chef came out and greeted us. He even opened the door for us when we left. Very courteous. We will return again when we come back to visit !

Yelp
It's a pretty space and staff were all nice. Came at 1:00 on a Wednesday.... There were two ladies lunching on BBQ... and me (solo). In the entire restaurant. That must seat 200. Gosh, I so hope they make it! The restaurant is located sort of between Buckhead and midtown (according to my server when I asked) --- in an area the developers are trying to brand Uptown. There is no on street parking. There is ample parking in several parking structures including the one attached to the restaurant --- the first 20 minutes are free and then it's $2 for the first hour. They don't validate parking so it's a good thing the rates are low. I had the galbi lunch box --- in the last month the price has gone up $2 (I'm going to add a picture of the menu for reference) but I'm not mad about that because $20.99 is more than fair for what I received. The quality of the meat was top notch and all the flavors were fresh and bright on the tray. 20 minutes into my visit two men came in, but the luncheon ladies left so there's still just the three of us here. I'm giving four stars because five is rare --- it's a good solid rating from me and high praise for quality/taste of food, ambiance of space, and gracious service. Come give this place a try -- I think most will enjoy it!

Yelp
Stopped into Bene for dinner while in town. We noticed it was a new Korean Steakhouse and read about the quality of the food so we were excited to check it out. Allen greeted us enthusiastically and explained the menu thoroughly. It is on the pricier end, but if you're a person who enjoys quality meat, you'll be very happy! We chose the beef set for 2 people. It comes with 6 different beef styles. We also ordered the dol soy rice, buckwheat noodles, corn cheese, kimchi fried rice, and the soybean soup. They also include an unlimited selection of salads, fermented veggies, and kimchi. It felt like a full banquet for two queens! We thoroughly enjoyed every second of the experience and food. The staff cooks the meat for you and are always ready to replace the items that are unlimited (the meat is not unlimited). The ambiance is sexy, romantic, and the restaurant was very spacious with a full bar (they are awaiting approval for their liquor license). I love Korean bbq, but this was definitely a step above the regular experience. It's a great place to celebrate something special or go on a date.

Yelp
Dined here tonight and my family and I had an amazing time. Everything from the service to food was truly enjoyable. We're not locals, but we wish we were just to visit again! Got the beef set for two and the beef tartare and it was chefs kiss. My son gives the egg soufflé an A+++. Everything was cooked to perfection for us at the table and we had a lovely time conversing with our waiter.

Yelp
Meat was fantastic as well as the drinks. Plenty of sides to go along with it. Service was quick and nice!

Yelp
I came here during lunch and I ordered beef soup and bibimbap. Beef broth was really good. Bibimbap was huge and had plenty of veggies. Place was very clean and modern. Service was prompt. I will come back for bbq next time.

Yelp
My wife and I tried Bene Korean BBQ for the first time and it was amazing! We ordered brisket and galbi off of the al la carte menu and the serving sizes were generous for two people. The galbi was soooooooo tasty! The interior of the restaurant felt upscale and comfortable. The servers were also super friendly and provided awesome service. Also, the grills are smokeless so you will come outside NOT smelling like smoke or charcoal (the usual KBBQ experience ) Will definitely be coming back!

Steve L.

Yelp
The ambience was beautiful, clean, and classy. The food was delicious and authentic and high quality. But the price was more than reasonable. Service was great. The galbi lunch set was really good. Loved the smoky flavor in the grilled marinated ribeye. The veggie side dishes balanced very well with the ribeye. We also got the galbi tang lunch set, which has the bone-in ribeye broth and stone bowl rice. After we scouped the rice from the stone bowl, the server poured hot water to get the crusty rice at the bottom of the bowl which added another layer of flavor to the rice. The soup had depth and seasoned perfectly. It really hit the spot on a windy, cloudy day. We will definitely be back to try some of their BBQ ribeye and tomahawk steak.

Yelp
Meat were fresh and flavorful. Service was awesome. The ambiance looks leek and premium. The yuzu martini is a must!
