"You can’t mix flavors at The Lemon Ice King of Corona, so you basically have to get two ices. We like that logic and so does your friend’s dad, the Queens native who grew up coming to this cash-only, corner spot near the Queens Zoo. They’ve been serving Italian ices from a walk-up window for over 60 years, and you’ll find a steady stream of lemon ice enthusiasts every night of the week. In addition to ices, large jars of beans line the wall, and not even the regulars seem to know why. The lemon ice is obviously a good choice (as is the cherry vanilla) and once you’ve got one of each, head to the park across the street and watch some bocce—there’s always a game going on." - Willa Moore

Incredible. Hard to describe how good this is on a hot NYC day. The best flavors. Cherry 🍒 is the best! Tangerine 🍊 is perfectly balanced. Really helps beat the heat. Good prices too. Bring cash, tip well.

I went to visit for my first time. I’ve always known about this place but goddamn my first experience was terrible. First, the person serving me was mopping the floor. He took my order and I waited to see if he was going to was his hands. He didn’t. I said whatever, I took my chocolate icey anyways. I enjoyed my icey until I got to the bottom and I found a roach! I didn’t even want to mention this to my family but I could not share this. Smh Do better Lemon King!

Best ice ever. Had the mago, strawberry banana and cherry. All good. Fruit cocktail is always sold out.

The Lemon Ice King of Corona is a hidden gem in New York that serves up some of the best ice cream I've ever had. The shop has a fun and inviting atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. But what truly sets The Lemon Ice King of Corona apart is their almond sorbet. It was rich and delicious, with the perfect balance of almond flavor and creaminess. Every spoonful was a delightful treat and left me wanting more. In addition to the delicious sorbet, the service at The Lemon Ice King of Corona was outstanding. The staff were friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend The Lemon Ice King of Corona to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable ice cream experience in New York. Whether you're in the mood for sorbet, ice cream, or something in between, this shop has something for everyone. Overall, The Lemon Ice King of Corona is a must-visit for anyone looking for an exceptional dessert experience.

Came here on a nice warm day and I definitely need to go back to try more flavors. I got the peanut butter one and really enjoyed it. I also got it medium size for $4 and it was enough for me, so expect a good serving and great-tasting ice!

This place has been here for many years and the ice Italian there are freshly made like they have Italian ice of many different flavors like pistachio, pina colada, peanut butter, and so on. Also they sell candy apples and sugar free ice. Many people will come to this place when the weather is nice and service is fast and atmosphere can be busy during good weather like summer time.

Very very average. There are lots of flavors but it's literally colored water. Maybe I just "don't get it" but I just don't get it. Also folks are not very welcoming and abrupt. If you in the area - there's somewhat of a cult so try but otherwise I wouldn't bother.
