24-hour coffeehouse with fair trade coffee, locally sourced food

"With three locations in Austin that are all open 24/7, Bennu is an excellent choice when you need to get some work done at any hour of the day. Our favorite is the original location on East MLK. Set in a big, open room packed full of old dining tables and chairs that look like they were collected from a series of estate sales and Goodwills, the space has an eclectic, old-school Austin feel, with power cords dangling from the ceiling. It’s close to UT, meaning it can get pretty packed when school is in session, but with plenty of seating, Quack’s pastries, Hoboken Pie slices, and a wide variety of caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks, it’s not hard to see why Bennu is so popular." - nicolai mccrary, matthew jacobs
"There are decadent mocha caffeinated concoctions at the all-hours coffee shop, including a whole bunch of mocha options, alongside Taco Mex breakfast tacos, Rockstar Bagels, and pizza slices from Hoboken Pie. Its locations on South Congress and Fontaine are also open 24/7. The aesthetic is college coffee shop chic — low tin ceilings, ‘90s furniture, and a generally studious atmosphere." - Nadia Chaudhury

"The cafe mini-chain’s three locations — this one in Blackland and the other two in Travis Heights and Highland — are open 24-hours, seven days a week. Enjoy the high-quality, fair-trade coffee and locally sourced food like migas, tacos, bagels, and pizza. There are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas." - Darcie Duttweiler

"Generations of University of Texas at Austin students have camped out at one of Bennu’s 24-hour locations to study and drink caffeine to study some more. The super-sweet Iced Bennu is an Austin staple. Get an Iced Pecan Larry for a nutty twist. There are two other locations in South River City/Travis Heights and Highland. Takeout orders can be placed online or in person; there are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas." - Eric Webb
