Bergeron's Boudin & Cajun Meats

Stopped in to try some local food and this place delivered. The friendly staff helped me figure out what to get. Ended up ordering the 3 piece steak wrap combo. I got the Mac & cheese and green beans as my sides. Looked so good I got corn machoux as an additional side. Overall the food was spicy. Unfortunately the meat had been under the heat lamp a bit too long. I was most impressed with the corn and rice machoux. The atmosphere was clean and family friendly.

I love that smoke smell! I tried the bacon wrapped chicken ball and a fish Po Boy everything was fresh hot and good. The Blackberry lemonade was tasty also. If I lived in state I’d definitely be a return customer 🙃

I ordered the steak rollups with macque choux and potato casserole let me just say this is and was the best I have ever eaten. The bread pudding is phenomenal, I think I need a whole pan of it the next time I go there. I bought some Alligator sausage for my son, which he devoured quite quickly after putting it on the grill, he couldn't speak and his eyes glazed over like he was in a coma finally when he was able to speak he just kept saying Oh My! Now he wants to go there and buy all they have in stock so he can have it whenever he wants. Plus the Deer Burritos are equally delicious, the meat is flavorful, the spices are perfect, the perfect amount of cheese. All I can say is if you haven't tried their food you are missing out! Sorry no pictures the food didn't last long enough to have its own selfie!

Great food ! Customer service is really good. Answered my questions. They have all types of Louisiana foods. There's something for everyone to love ! If your traveling on I-10 it's a must stop place ...

If I could rate this place any higher, I would. The food is like no other. Prices are reasonable for what you get. We got the steak wrap, chicken bites, and jambalaya. I definitely recommend this place and will be back.

Great place with interesting things. Their food is delicious. Definitely a place to stop by and get some of their meats and sausages. Highly recommend it.

Amazing food and staff! I called ahead of time to ask if there was truck parking. Alth on gh there isn't any, the lot is big enough for one truck. ! I ordered enough food for a few days! I'm from California and don't have this great food there. Thanks for all The love you can taste in the food! Great chef, that knows what they're doing! Ambiance was awesome as well!

My family and I stopped in into places to go order. There are so many different items to choose from. You have things like Boudin balls, and Boudin wraps you have DEER burritos and wraps. You have mac & cheese. You have different kinds of grains and rice and gravy and beans. Really, there's so many different things to look at and to choose from one of the things that I took Interest in was the different kinds of jams and jellies. You have things like your usual old-fashioned strawberry but you also have more exotic things like a carrot cake jelly that I had to buy. They also have a variety of jalapeño jellies. Everything looks so good. I Didn't really know what to expect when I walked in. It is pretty much a market. It's a small one, but they do offer a lot of their meats and things preseasoned but also refrigerated or frozen for parties and to take home. Prices were very reasonable. And actually, our hotel receptionist has been nothing but amazing. So, we stopped in to get her a treat as well. We cannot wait to try things. The store was super clean. The people were very friendly. Even the customers, they were very helpful in assisting us to make decisions about what items we might try. One of the other interesting things that I saw was bottled quail eggs. I feel like I've seen that somewhere else, but I can't remember where.

This place is awesome. The gumbo is excellent. The steak poppers are amazing. The boudin balls are stellar (especially the pepper jack stuffed). You won't regret getting anything from this place. Can't recommend it enough.

We have been to both Bergeron's locations multiple times while traveling through the area. They have the best Andouille!! In their counter cases the offer fresh meat, sausages, and a wide variety of prepared items including boudin, Tasso, fried boudin balls, and a while array of prepared ready-to-take items. They also have fresh pork and chicken cracklings. In their freezers they have prepared packaged items such as red beans, gumbos, stews and more... and we've tried several items and always enjoyed them!

Food is great! Service is good! Ambiance looks lovely and like Cajun food ! Yummy. .

I have been to this establishment a couple times and never was disappointed. This is my 1st time getting this salad after calling in the order. The cashier that answered was very polite, helpful and funny she really enjoys working here. The place was very nice and cool. On the other side they have smoked everything lol I would recommend this place if you're in the Port Allen area

Everything we got was delicious. I recommend getting a taste of it all before you purchase. Then buy what you want to eat now and buy frozen for later. You won't regret it.

I tried a Moonie's Chicken Sandwich and the jambalaya. Both were flavorful and I plan to revisit to try more items.

Love this little market I come here for the delicious smoked pork andouille and handmade sausage selection. The cracklings are great also. They also have fresh hog head cheese and boudin as well as ribeyes steaks and just about anything seasoned Cajun and ready to cook. They also have delicious cooked deli items like bacon wrapped cheese stuffed Jalapeño peppers, Cajun eggrolls and much much more. If your hungry now or if your looking for something different to cook for supper this is the place to come. There is also a Cajun and bbq joint next door owned by the same people and they have great Poboys. I got cracklings today to snack on and some pork andouille sausage I'm going to chop in my food processor and add to the red beans I'm cooking for supper and I also got a pound of green onion sausage links that I'll slice up and cook in my red beans n rice for supper tonight. Thanks to Bergeron's Cajun meats my supper is gonna be so delicious tonight.

extremely disappointing food! what happened? 20 years ago they were great today they are awful. I spent $80 of various meats. so far what I have tasted it's awful. Will never go back.
