I always came to eat here, the place is good, but the person at the checkout with a stain on his face is aggressive and in a bad mood and always kicks you, obviously I told him that when he did it to me again when I arrived he was rude to the first people I didn't give an opinion until he did it to me, I think he should learn to treat people and not be such a loser. It's a gray cloud in a big place...

I visited Berry Bowl on 9/15/23 around 11 am. I had decided to take a chance despite some of the negative reviews pertaining to customer service. However, what I discovered was nice, friendly, & helpful employees. I was indecisive on what Acai to get so I was offered a samples. After my sample I still could not make a decision. The young lady at the register informed me that I could get both & mix my bowI with both flavors. I believe it was Tropical Acai & Acai. Let me back up. I asked the staff several questions prior to sampling because I am lactose intolerance & need to know what is mixed into the bowl. She explained everything to me in detail. There was another young man who placed my toppings. He also was just as nice to me as the other staff member. He calmly explained to me all the different types of granola. I was reluctant on the coconut topping because I don’t like dry & hard coconut shaving. He told me that it was not hard & it was in fact soft. All of my toppings were fresh & as you can see it was plentiful. There are three sizes to choice from.Yup, I got the large and ate every bit of it all to myself. They have seating inside & out. There is a choice if available, to sit at the table with more shading/privacy. The other option is the typical table in the open, which is where I sat. I plan to go back soon.

love this place, but they changed their reward program and now i lost the free small bowl reward that i had earned from visiting 10+ times. used to be one point per visit, now its some random app and who knows how they’re adding points

Best açaí/berry bowls in all LA area 🙌🏻 highly recommend the pitaya base, and they have gluten free granola! My bestie loves the Nutella bowl! We have been here about 5 times this month!

I really like this place. All the food I’ve tried is fresh and flavorful. Wish they had some umbrellas or shade sails for the tables outside but it could be a city ordinance keeping them from doing that. Also of note they do have a B rating as of the last time I was there on 6/12/18 but the place looks very clean to me!

Service is great! The only think I wasn't happy is that I couldn't try the CBD infusion poured on coffe or whatever is named and it's not coming back 😭 juices are great and the different acai bowls are amazing, thank you for been in the neighborhood ❤

The lemonade was a little sour, but they added more agave and it tasted better. You can't go wrong with the catchy music on the speakers.

2022 update. Upgrading to 5 stars. I've been about a dozen times and it's consistently good, *fast*, and prices have stayed reasonable. I like that you can choose all your own toppings. I've been twice and had peanut butter bowl both times. No problems ordering, bowls ready in about 5 min, and they look and taste great! Backyard Bowls is the best acai bowl place I've been to, but Berry Bowl takes second and the HP location is great. Beats the bowls from other juice places like Nektar or Jamba. They also sell all sorts of snacks and herbal supplements in this shop. Reishi extract, ashwaganda powder, that kind of stuff.

I love Berry Bowl and so do my two kids. Their options are fresh and delicious. My only complaint is that sometimes, they are understaffed and the line can be very long to just order and then you also have to wait till receive your order. For a wonderful place to get fresh smoothies or acai bowls, i hope they staff appropriately and are prepared for how much the neighborhood loves them. we will continue to come and enjoy our healthy snacks! the store is typically clean and inviting.

I have been coming here for a couple of years from being in high school to now graduating college. The taste has always been the same and the service as well. Super hip and helpful people. The fruit is always fresh and the toppings are always great in taste. Nothing has ever tasted old to me. The actual açaí base is always such a hit. I have been to the best neighborhoods (OC, Beverly Hills, Key West, Northshore Hawaii) I have truly never had an acai bowl that tastes like my local berry bowl! Will come and again and again.

Great quality açaí. I love that they have different size options because I can never finish my bowl. Good toppings options. Want to try their smoothies too next time. Super friendly staff. Nice outdoor seating. Will be back for sure. Highly recommend!

Berry Bowl has been a new go to spot since they opened up in the neighborhood. I love that this place offers quality and healthy food options. The prices are very reasonable considering the demographic and income of the area. (Myself included) The açaí bowls are always made with love, the staff members are such a joy. I always love getting to chat with the workers! I always come here, especially during the hotter days when I need a quick snack. Thank you!

My sister and I came to this place and were stoked to see their ube option! I would say the prices aren't outrageous which is good. The music? Firee. The staff could be a little more welcoming though.

Such good açaí bowls! There were so many options for toppings and I like how you can add as many toppings as they can put in the bowl. Service was fast and friendly. It was a little pricey but that's LA for you! Will come back again the next time I am craving an açaí bowl.

The BEST açaí bowls I've ever had with the WORST customer service I've ever experienced. And it's like this every single time I've come here LOL.

First time customer. The name alone had us wanting a smoothie or a bowl. Full menu of speciality bowls, drinks and smoothies. We received our drinks quickly and prices were as expected. I was happy with our choices. I'll go back to try another yummy option. They also sell other items like chips, and bottled beverages. There was a-lot of traffic so I'm guessing this is a local favorite, I can see why.

Been coming here for literally 3 years now, not very frequently though! Bowls are the BOMB. But the few times I've come, I have never had a good customer service experience. It almost always seems like I'm bothering whoever is helping me with either my questions, or taking my time to order. Today was no exception to that with the gentleman that helped me. Plus, the chia pudding literally tasted terrible as if it was old... I've tried to hold off on leaving a review but I can sincerely say that this morning will finally be the last time I go to this spot.

Solid açaí bowl, great prices. $8 for a small. In this economy that is a good deal. The açaí base itself was a bit soft for my liking but had a nice flavor. I liked the array of interesting toppings. I love when they top it with almond butter. The store vibes were good, clean. The guys working were friendly and helpful. Solid joint for a nice snack.

An amazing açaí shop with a unique way of ordering. My first time experiencing. The attendants were so helpful in explaining their options. A little outdoor seating with a green wall to create space between you and the street.

I am in love with the bowls from Berry Bowl! They have a variety of base options and a huge toppings bar where they allow you to choose as many toppings as you want to the top of your bowl. Alex was super helpful when giving me recommendations! Will be back for my mid day snack.

There Pitaya Bowl is just amazing! Tastes so fresh and organic. I literally have this at least once a week if not more.

Berry Bowl's Açaí bowls are a delightful symphony of flavors and textures. The velvety smooth açaí base, topped with a yummy fresh berries, granola, and a drizzle of honey, creates a harmonious blend that's both satisfying and energizing. I highly recommend coming here and trying for yourself.

I like their classic açaí bowls a lot (love the amount of almond butter they'll add on for free!) and was excited to try the ube sorbet but was confused as to why they call it a purple Japanese yam, since ube is indigenous to the Philippines, "ube" is a Tagalog name, and it's a beloved flavor iconic of the nation. I think this is a pretty silly mistake given it's Filipino American History Month and neighboring Eagle Rock has a notably large Filipino community. Hope they update their info, especially considering the history of Japanese occupation of the Philippines. I know it's a relatively minor detail but this history matters!

Solid açaí bowl, friendly staff. I decided to try the peanut butter blended açaí bowl. Each bowl comes with unlimited toppings. Offering a variety of fruit, and other dry toppings. There are four sizes you can choose from for your bowl, and a few flavor options for your base. In addition to the bowls they sell fresh squeezed juice, and wellness shots. During my visit I was unable to try it as the juice machine was down. They also have several smoothie options. Overall, a solid spot with a cute seating area in the front.

My girl friend brought me here because she has been raving about their acai bowls. She was not lying about the quality. The flavor of the two bases I got tasted so good! I got the classic and white coconut base topped with flax granola, blueberries, bananas, and goji berries. They had so many other options for toppings, but I wanted to play it safe since this was my first time. Next time, I want to get a little more creative because I looked at their Instagram and they have pictures of different types of bowl concoctions that look so yummy. Will be back again soon. This is my second time here and they have not disappointed. The Nutella acai base is so good! I love nutella, so I always ask for a little more on top. They have a Nitro tea on draft, so you pay for the cup and serve yourself. The employees are really cool and laidback. I haven't had any issues and they have willingly given me topping recommendations, since there is quite a bit to choose from. There is limited seating inside and outdoor seating as well.

For a business meant to offer refreshing, cool, and tasty pleasures, I perceived the staff as rather unfriendly and uncool. I am sorry, but I was not familiar with what I had to select from, and no relevant help was offered. So I took a while to come to finalizing the choices (which was not a problem as there was nobody behind me). Ultimately, I was not overwhelmed with what I got, it lacked flavor and I could easily have just bought some frozen berries form TJs with a better result. Clearly overrated, and no need to come back.

On the corner of an intersection, this açaí spot has multiple options for anyone. Order on the right and wait on the left for your turn to choose the toppings. A great spot for açaí bowls or smoothies. Comments: small açaí bowl starts to melt quickly. By the time you get your bowl, the consistency will no longer be thick. I would recommend the medium bowl because it melts slower. A lot of choices so there will definitely be something you'll like. Order: medium and small açaí bowl

My gf and I love berry bowl! It's a little pricey but it's worth it. We came here yesterday and I got a regular sized bowl with pitaya, mango, and white coconut as my base. The toppings I added are chia pudding, vanilla granola, bananas, strawberries, toasted coconut, goji berries and agave.

Ok, I'm not really one to visit a very nice fruit spot, but my wife was craving this. I was intrigued by the menu. Everything looked so good. I ended up being basic and ordering a Strawberry Banana smoothie. I didn't even realize until after that they added dates to it. I'm not lying, that was so good that I had to grab something for the road. I ordered a green bowl and ended up finishing it on the way home. This spot doesn't miss! The worker who helped me out was very helpful and knowledgeable. I know my orders were basic, but they know the benefits of what I had and I appreciated the knowledge as well. 10/10 I will be back for sure!

Waiting in line someone cuts in front of me. I tell them they cut in front of me and they ignore me and continue to take their order. Peaced out right there. Edit: saw the response. Favorite place to go for açaí the service there is always great and chill, very appreciated, it could get busy there at time and they still manage great! They hook it up y'all ! Worth the money, fresh fruit all the time, seeds, different varieties of granola and sauces Berry Bowl over Jamba Juice

I was headed to work and saw this spot on the way ! So happy I stopped because I got the coconut deluxe bowl , not only is coconut my fav but so was this açaí bowl ! I will be back to try more items on the menu ! I also do like that you can add supplement booster shots to stuff !

This place is the "real deal!" I've tried many a -Green- smoothie Most taste really yummY, BUT NOT A TRUE GREEN & HEALTHY smoothie which leaves me wondering??? How healthy they Truly are...??? This WAS, "OUTTA THIS WORLD!" IT WAS "PERFECTION IN A CUP!" If you're in L.A. on YORK St. This is Defly a Place for an "Orgasmic Smoothie!" Hahaa!

This place is fire. Tropical bowl + Yerba everytime. You can pick ingredients that you want in your bowl just like Chipotle but for Acai. What I love about this place is that they're very time efficient and never stingy with the ingredients. They always play good music too. Definitely check it out for breakfast or post-workout.

I just pulled a long hair through my straw and out of my smoothie. This is disgusting. This is the second time I have been here and I have been disappointed. The peanut butter smoothie is so thick and chalky I can barely suck it through my straw. Do not spend your money on these overpriced smoothies. There are SO MANY other, better places.

I hate leaving a one star during these times and I don't know if I hit them on an off day but the pitaya bowl was not good. Very strange texture that I've never encountered in a pitaya bowl. The base had a gooey texture that was super off putting and it didn't have that delicious tropical taste that I love in pitaya bowls. The staff are unfriendly and slow moving. There was only one couple in front of me and I waited probably 15 min to start my order. Then when I asked for blueberries the container was pretty empty and gross looking and the employee just scraped the last of them into my bowl. They should have changed out the tray and I never would have known. It was offputting. Overall this spot was a miss for me. Great setup, love the topping options but the quality of the bowl is just not there.

My bowl was full and delicious. I loved it, definitely returning again. It's worth it. I think it's priced right. My daughter and I were full. I orde the large and it was more than enough. Thank you Berry Bowl.

tried and true açaí bowl spot. a fan favorite amongst my friends and a treat to brighten anyone's day. whenever I go here I am required to bring one back for the boyfriend. the unlimited toppings is a plus and while the bases are pre-made they always taste fresh. mango base is my personal favorite. pricing is the main drawback at berry bowl, which is probably why they introduced a mini size at a lower price point. sometimes I feel bad spending so much money on a berry bowl, but the feeling quickly dissipates when the joy of the bowl rushes in.

Is this place ever open? I've been several times and it has just been closed. No warning to anyone. Sunday 12/31 just closed at 11:30am. No notice on the door nothing.

I loved the recommended combinations. I wish I lived closer so that I could enjoy these bowls often. Once you have tried their recommendations, go ahead and be adventurous and create your own.

I highly recommend this place. Walking in I knew no matter what I order I was going to walk away with something Fresh & Healthy. I decided to make my own and pick my favorite bases. Of course I order the biggest one to share. I had some coconut,matcha,Dragonfruit,etc.... All combined together was perfect. I definitely like that they had pre set açaí bowls with all the right ingredients (bases) so you don't have to over think what you want on your bowl They have smoothies ,wellness shots. I will have to come back,so many more healthy Choices to chose from. I appreciate the staff being helpful and their recommendations.

Berry Bowl is one of my favorite places to go to for a healthy treat. I always like to order the York Classic Bowl. There are lots of toppings you can choose from and they give you a good amount. From all the times we've been there, the service has been great. It is a small place and you would need to find parking on the street. There is usually a lot of meter parking or you can park in the residential area.

Came here the other day and ordered the white coconut deluxe bowl + bananas, hemp seeds, almond butter, strawberries, vanilla granola.... Delicious!!! My friend got their detox juice, which I tried as well and is surprisingly crave-able! Serving size is great for the price and service was friendly and prompt! Will definitely be coming back whenever I'm in the mood for açaí bowls or juices!

I absolutely love the bowls here. They don't charge you for additional toppings, it's one price and you get to choose as many as you can from the toppings bar. They have a limit of 1 butter so I always get Nutella, cannot go wrong!! Definitely try this place out if you are in the area.

Good quality product but horrible customer service. I'm leaving this review after covid. I have purchased before as a customer and as a delivery driver and the customer service is always trash. Workers are unfriendly

Best Acai Bowl in Highland Park. I ordered the small one, it was a generous size. The consistency was smooth and it tasted really good, not too sweet or overwhelmingly. The fruit toppings were fresh and surprisingly they even have chia seeds pudding (I love it).

Called on this hot Labor Day and asked how late they are opened till. Came over at 5:28 and the closed sign was up with the door locked. If you tell your customers your open till 6pm then you should close till then!!!
