Yelp
I've started coming to this donut shop because it's awesome, and it's now beaten out Shipley's and any other donut shops I've been to in Houston. I actually bike 12 miles to get here, as it's right off the Braes Bayou Hike and Bike Trail and makes for a perfect post-ride meal.
They have a little bit of everything, which I love. Croissant Sandwiches, kolaches, breakfast tacos, a variety of pastries, and of course donuts. My only complaint is that I do wish for the jalapeno and cheese kolaches that there was an actual jalapeno and cheese in there. It's just not very spicy nor very cheesy. Both the ingredients I guess come inside the sausage itself, so I don't feel like I'm getting cheese or jalapeno.
I'm pretty sure it's family owned and operated, and the staff have always been very kind and helpful.
And since this is currently being written in a COVID-19 Environment, I have to note: They've done a good job marking out 6 foot apart markers, wear masks and gloves, have instructions written to encourage customers to obey their spacing, have hand sanitizer at the register, a door that pushes outward when I leave, and have invested in a contact-less credit card payment device that I believe is new. All the customers have also been good about following these rules and wearing masks. I really really appreciate all this. Again, since I'm biking, I don't really have sanitizing items with me, so I appreciate feeling clean walking out of the store.
I encourage you to check this place out :)
