"An elegant ambience complements an elevated menu of exceptional steaks and an array of dishes at Chef Jeffrey Stout's newest restaurant, BE.STÉAK.Ӑ,located a minute's walk from his other very popular spot, Orchard City Kitchen. Here, the menu meanders through the Mediterranean before focusing on high-quality and well-prepared steaks and sides. Kicky clams casino substitutes pepperoni for bacon, while rigatoni all'amatriciana delivers another spicy hit, but really, you're here for the meat. Good thing too, since bacon-wrapped filet in a horseradish crema with king oyster mushrooms and finished with a "meaty" demi-glaze is first rate. The Sunday Supper menu, featuring four courses for the whole table, is a draw for families and groups." - Michelin Inspector

We arrived early for our 7:30 reservation but didn't get seated until 8. Minor delay, but they handled it well by bringing out this amazing warm chicken broth in a tea cup, I know right - the class, while we waited. Fresh, flavorful, and honestly a great way to be kept on standby prior to the meal. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was this open kitchen with these huge windows where you can watch everything happening, from the Michelin award-winning chef to support staff - which is always fun. Once seated, they were great about our non-dairy request, though there was a small hiccup with the bread at first that they fixed right away. Now the food. Almost everything was phenomenal. The Kerwei rib eye and steak tartare were incredible, but the roasted bone marrow? That was the absolute showstopper of the night. The asparagus was the only thing that was just okay (granted, relative to the other offerings), but notably, it was the only non dairy option we had. We like some heat, so the chillies we requested on the side complemented the dishes beautifully. Aside from the food, the little details really impressed us: heated toilet seats and a salt scrub for your hands. It's those little thoughtful touches that remind you why this place has a Michelin star. Our server was fantastic and ensured our glasses were always full. Highly recommend Be.Steak.A if you're looking for a really special meal and celebrating something meaningful. They've earned that star. Tonight, I award them 5 more.

Classic steakhouse that serves delicious cocktails and food near downtown Campbell. As soon as you walk in, they offer you a cup of warm tasty chicken broth. Cute cocktail menu has a lot of enticing drinks, so definitely try a few. Steaks were perfectly cooked, and the homemade pasta was amazing. If you’re not in the mood for beef, there are plenty of seafood items to choose from as well. Efficient and super friendly service. Large shared free parking lot. Great spot for a special occasion meal, or for an important business dinner!

The aesthetics and decor are absolutely beautiful and set the tone as soon as you walk in. Everything feels intentional and stylish without trying too hard. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which always makes a big difference. The food was delicious across the board. Everything we ordered was flavorful and clearly well prepared, making it worth the visit for the food alone. Overall, Be.Steak.A is a great spot with amazing ambiance, great service, and really good food.

On Saturday, Jan 17, 2026, my wife and I dined at BeSteak.A for lunch at 2 pm. Let me start off by saying the restaurant is beautiful and very well designed. The huge door at the front entrance looks really cool when you walk in. The decor, vibe, and atmosphere are all on point. Everything inside of the restaurant from the tables, chairs, bar, and kitchen are all high-end. They even have heated toilet seats that'll spray, wash, and dry you after you go number 2. Pretty cool! We made a reservation through OpenTable and were seated right away. I made a reservation through OpenTable about a month prior. On the day of my reservation, I received a call from the hostess at BeSteak.A asking if I would like to come in earlier to enjoy the whole dining experience and so things don't get cut short due to the kitchen closing a little after 2 pm. I found this strange and odd. Why would BeSteak.A allow you to make a reservation through OpenTable at 2 p.m., but then the hostess calls and says your dining experience might be cut short due to the kitchen closing after their lunch service/hours? It doesn't make sense. If the kitchen closes at a certain time and they're not willing to make and serve dishes after a specific time, a 2 pm. reservation for lunch shouldn't be available then. We kept our original 2 pm. reservation and were served every dish we ordered, and I saw kitchen staff members working the whole time in their open see-through glass kitchen windows, so I'm not sure what the issue was or why the hostess called offering for us to come into the restaurant at an earlier time. Here's what we ordered. The Arancini small bite was good. It's beyond small so order 2. The Cappellacci di Zucca was probably the best out of everything we ordered, in my opinion. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the flavors were all on point. Very well executed. The BeSteak.A burger fell short in many ways. The burger wasn't seasoned at all. The meat tasted bland and lacked flavor. The 3 slices of cheese had no flavor and you could barely taste the secret sauce because there was barely any sauce on the burger. It definitely wasn't worth the $30 I paid. Hard pass on the burger! The Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection. Very tender and juicy. The pork sausage fried rice was a huge letdown. I was looking forward to this dish the most, and it fell short in many ways. First of all, it was so damn spicy that it was literally inedible! The heat of the peppers 🌶 they used were too damn hot! My mouth was literally on fire within a few seconds after taking a bite, and I can tolerate spicy food. It was so spicy that you couldn't even tell what type of meat was in the pork fried rice or what you were eating. It was painful and unpleasurable to eat! I mentioned to our waiter Paul that the pork fried rice (which he said is his favorite) was way too spicy and inedible and Paul said, oh yeah, the heat of the peppers inside the dish varies. They could've at least comped the pork fried rice, but they didn't. The rice was burnt, too, which added more salt to the open wound. Huge let down! The Yam Stones were decadent and beyond good! A must order. The chocolate souffle and Toffee Sticky Pudding were excellent. They both hit the spot. Overall, the dining experience at BeSteak.A. was good. It's a really beautiful restaurant. Some of the dishes fell short, like the burger and inedible pork fried rice due to it literally burning the entire inside of your mouth and lips from the super hot peppers 🌶. If the restaurant would've comped my pork fried rice or offered to make us another one without the peppers or chili oil, I would definitely recommend BeSteak.A to others, and I would also come back and dine here again. I'm really into spending my hard earned money on food, and I'm a true foodie in general. But I honestly won't be coming back to BeSteak.A anytime soon or in the near future due to the above reasons, which is a shame because this restaurant has some huge potential. 3.5 stars at best.

I went here for my birthday dinner with my friends and it’s a total five out of five for both service and food! Bob was amazing, he guide us through the whole dinner including making our dessert at the end. Very high quality Japanese wagyu beef, the whole piece was literally melting in my mouth. Would definitely recommend for gathering!

I had a great experience at Be Steak A. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome right away. The food was delicious and nicely prepared, though a little on the salty side for my taste. Overall, everything was good.

Google
Very good upscale restaurant to celebrate with friends and family. The price seemed appropriate for the service, ambience and food. We enjoyed most of the food we ordered. Their starters, small bites and pasta were great. That spicy meatball, tiny onion soup, fish crudo, pineapple jam, yam stones and crab garganelli were very good. Filet mignon, kirwee ambassador and bread basket were decent. I would skip the bread basket and choose a premium steak if we were to visit again.

Yelp
I've been in the industry for quite some time and I am thankful for Aaron and Paul for their level of service. They are second to none I don't go out much but they make me feel better about leaving the house.. thank you.

Yelp
We came here to celebrate an anniversary. From the moment we entered to the minute we left, it was a fabulous time. The hosts in the beginning were so nice and offered us a warm broth to drink to prepare ourselves for the amazing meal we were about to have. We ended up ordering family style and shared all the dishes we ordered from the small bites to the HUGE porterhouse steak. I thought it was so cool to see the steak before they cooked it. I of course had my partner take a few pictures of me before we saw the final product. We loved the atmosphere and how genuinely friendly everyone was. I would come again!

Yelp
The food itself is okay. In fact, it's good. Not good enough that my partner or I have ever been craving it or felt that we needed to go back, but it's fine. The service is very good, staff is very polite, and I felt as though our orders came out relatively quickly. The vibe of the place is classy. The bar is beautiful, and while the decor is not imaginative, it fits the space well. This all said, the pricing is insane. We once came for a special tasting menu and paid $400 per person. I want to say there were 5 courses or so? In any case, we both left hungry. We have done tasting menus at other restaurants that were half as much and had a much better value. Overall opinion of both myself and my partner: it's fine, but neither of us feel like we need to go back.

Yelp
Been here twice for the Sunday brunch buffet. First visit was amazing except for the service. Went again a year later and still a bit disappointing about the service, but food was great. The server was not as attentive as we'd hoped in both visits. Food didn't disappoint though, had a selection of caviar, crab legs, and oysters which were delicious. Definitely pricey to come here, it mentions 135 per person but its more like 185 per person when adding in tax, tip, and a weird 3.5% surcharge of "Living Wage." I would say it isn't worth the money to come here but it may be worth it to try out once just for the experience.

Yelp
We had an overall positive experience and most of the food was delicious but for a steakhouse, the $210 chateaubriand was beyond disappointing. For a cut known for its "extreme tenderness," the outside was too firm and chewy even though the inside was definitely medium rare. This was worse than a typical filet mignon and we "unfortunately" got 20 oz of it...it also came with two sauces (aerated Hollandaise and maybe au jus or something), both of which were basically flavorless. Most of the sides and appetizers we ordered were great though. - Steak tartare: Strong start to the meal. It came with 6 pieces of soft and buttery brioche, a plate of whipped beef tallow, and a huge bowl of steak tartare. We actually ran out of bread before we ran out of the tartare! - Lamb chop appetizer: Also amazing! The meat here was more tender than the chateaubriand and we loved the flavors of the jalapeno jelly + aioli on it - Yam stones: Reminded me of mochi donuts. Mildly sweet - Hasselback potatoes (complimentary dish that came with the chateaubriand): Potatoes were soft (perfect texture). Came sitting in a pool of watery sour cream that also didn't taste like much though - Pork fried rice: One of the servers called this "our twist on the Asian classic" but it didn't seem like a fusion dish. From the Calabrian chilis (very different from chili crisp) and spicy sausage (more like breakfast sausage than Taiwanese or Chinese pork sausage) to the pool of oil the rice sat in, nothing about it reminded me of typical pork fried rice at all. We ended up ordering the sticky toffee pudding for dessert (flambeed next to our table) but also got a free baked Alaska for the birthday dessert (with birthday/funfetti ice cream inside) and a sparkler. The sticky toffee pudding was very sweet (mostly because of the syrup)!

Yelp
Very good service and food here! It was getting cold outside and nice to have a chicken broth when you entered the restaurant. All the chefs worked busy but happily inside the open kitchen made me very excited to have my first experience here. We were there for our anniversary and they took us a little bit darker( good mood) and I saw the message card on the table. The server gave us good recommendations and all the food we ordered were delicious! This restaurant made our anniversary special and we definitely come back again!

Yelp
4.5 STARS Date: Friday, September 5th, 2025 Time: 7pm Party of: 8 Meal: Birthday Dinner Reservation Thru: OpenTable made I believe about 1.5 weeks prior *Affogato ($12) *Prime Rib ($76) *Espresso Martini ($21) *Crab Garganelli ($46) *Ribeye ($110) x2 *Xanadu ($21) *Altos Las Hormigas, malbec, Meteora, Mendoza 2021 ($100) *La Spinetta, Sassontino, Toscana 2006 ($185) *Burrata Pugliese ($27) *Steak Tartare ($30) *Caesar Salad ($21) x2 *Pork Fried Rice ($25) x2 *Truffle Fries ($30) x2 *Grilled Asparagus ($18) *Porterhouse 51 ($252) *Sullivan Coeur de Vigne Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 ($36 glass) *JL Chave Selection Cotes di Rhone, Mon Coeur 2023 ($19 glass) *Espresso ($6) *Loving Wage: 3.5 % ($42.74) *Gratuity: 20% ($244.20) For my birthday dinner, I gave a girlfriend some options and she landed on Be Steak A. (My group always takes each other out and treats the bday person.) I've actually always wanted to try their Sunday Brunch, but I am a steak lover. Dinner as an alternative was fine with me. We were seated at a table off in the corner which felt more private. So I'm not gonna lie, I'm super extra. Tho sometimes without realizing it. I can never eat a full steak. And I like my meat rare. When a friend who likes the same temp agreed to share, he mentioned he wanted the namesake steak. I agreed without really thinking about it or realizing the price. Holy cow! I have the best friends ever cuz that steak was expensive! And for two people, huge! (Go on with the TWSS jokes.) It was so tender and juicy tho. The perfect yum! There was an issue with the first steak. It was way overcooked for rare. Our server apologized profusely and sent out another one. And he let us keep the overcooked steak so others in our party who prefer a higher temp got to try it. Definitely a splurgy spot, but I had so much fun. A great special occasion meal. REVIEW #3853

Yelp
Always a wonderful experience here, staff was excellent very attentive and yet not disruptive, top-class staff. The food is well prepared and delicious, very tasty. A nice selection of appetizers, soups and entrees. The 'hamachi crudo' had a lot of complexity with a lot of herbs and stuff that made it a little too much for our pallet. There is ample seating in both the dining and bar areas, with enough spacing to make it feel spacious and intimate.

Yelp
We had the most wonderful dinner, here last night. It was our first time here. We were celebrating my birthday, which was indicated in our reservation. When we arrived and checked in, we were offered house made chicken bone broth in small cups to take with us to our table. It was actually pretty good. We were guided to our table. The restaurant is very elegant inside. Our table was beautifully set for us with a birthday card for me on the middle of the table. I thought that was so thoughtful. When I opened the card a $2.00 bill fell out, to my surprise. What a nice touch. Our waiter, Juan, gave us each a damp cloth to wipe our hands. He guided us through the menu. He let us know the specials. He also gave his recommendations, which we appreciated. We started the night off with some cocktails. My husband ordered the Amari old fashioned and I ordered a vodka dirty martini. That martini was the best I ever had. It was presented beautifully on a silver tray with a tiny chilled bowl with the garnish for the drink. It also came with a tiny cup of extra olive brine if you desire a bit more salty flavor. I thought it was made perfectly. For our starter we had the wedge salad. We also decided to try the focaccia di recco. The salad arrived chilled and delicious. We were given chilled forks for the salad. With each course a fresh plate and silverware were given. The focaccia was absolutely delicious and a must try. The melted cheese gave it a bit of richness. It's a very thin bread nothing like the usual thick and dense focaccia we are used to. We both loved it. We both ordered the tiny French onion soup and it was the perfect size. It was delicious. The chef sent a tray of veggies and garlic dip for our table. That was very nice. For our pasta, we decided to share the Agnolotti. It's a pasta filled with braised beef and topped with roasted hazelnut nuts in a Demi glaze sauce with Parmesan on top. Very delicious. We also tried the rock shrimp gratin. It was a bit watery but full of flavor. The shrimp were perfectly cooked. I'd get this again but ask for it to be less watery. For our protein, we shared the chateaubriand that is served table side, seasoned and cut in front of you and served with a Hollandaise sauce. This was done a perfect medium rare. The meat was so flavorful and seasoned perfectly. It was a lot of meat. We took the rest of it home. The chef also sent a dish, to our table, of roasted potatoes in a parsley butter sauce that was really good. We really enjoyed that. For dessert we tried the mixed berry cobbler. The filling was tart and the crust was sweet so it paired perfectly together. They also brought out a mini baked Alaska for my birthday with a firework like candle. That was so nice and fun. The baked Alaska was very good. Before we left we were given an after dinner liqueur, that was very strong. I could only have a few sips. I was also given a treat bag with two Italian amoretti cookies. That was so sweet. They really went out of their way to make my birthday extra special. Our leftover food was packaged for us in a nice black bag with red tissue paper, and placed on the hook under our table. We were there a total of three hours and the time went by fast. It was like being on a culinary excursion. All our food was spaced out so we could savor it and prepare for the next course. The bathroom is beautiful, by the way. They have salt scrub for your hands and all the toilettes are automated bidet toilettes. Before you leave they have little candies you can take for the road. The customer service here is exquisite. Everyone is very professional and polite. It is a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it for the quality of food, service, and experience. This was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. I highly recommend coming here for a special occasion.

Yelp
My husband and I dined here on an early Wednesday evening to celebrate my birthday. It also happened to be our first date night out after I had given birth to our daughter 2.5 weeks ago. We mentioned both occasions to our server, Paul & he made sure we had an incredible dining experience. He was attentive and engaging without being overbearing. He provided a really great mocktail recommendation for me after he noticed I wasn't enjoying my selection. (If you don't like aperol spritz, don't make the same mistake as me. Avoid the Puppy Love mocktail & opt for First Base instead. It tastes like a horchata.) Hubs and I shared the bone marrow, crab garbanelli, wood fired ribeye & asparagus. The wood fired steaks here are always phenomenal but we particularly enjoyed the crab garbanelli. We finished off with another excellent recommendation of Paul's - the sticky toffee pudding. If you like a dessert with a little flame like myself, do NOT pass on the sticky toffee pudding. All in all, we had a really great night out and couldn't ask for better service or food for our first night out as parents. HUGE shout out to Paul for a truly incredible night.

Yelp
We made a reservation here for our anniversary and had a great time. Upon entering, we were given 2 cups of hot chicken soup which was so perfect for the chilly weather that day. On the way to the table, the kitchen had a giant wall sized window to watch the chefs at work. This is definitely a pricey steakhouse so if you come with that expectation, then it's not too bad. The porterhouse was $4.95 per oz and to be honest, we did not expect a 49.6oz steak because it ended up being $$$$ but it was very well cooked. The overall meal was wonderful. My only complaint is the lobster risotto came out pretty cold already but I'm not sure if that was intentional. I also wish they had more green veggie options for their sides. Our waitress was great and didn't hover. She checked on us just enough and gave us a complimentary anniversary dessert at the end. There were also small candies on the way out that you can grab yourself. I also loved that they had little coat racks and purse hooks at the tables. The booths were also very comfortable. Parking isn't so great as the plaza gets packed during dinner time. We had to park a little further and walked over but it wasn't too bad. I definitely recommend this place if you're celebrating something!

Yelp
3.5% surcharge. The menu says you can ask to have the surcharge removed - so I did. I stopped by for Happy Hour, 5-6 PM: - 4.7/5: Wagyu slider. Great but salty. - 4.0: Be.Dip. OK. Get the wagyu slider. Dessert: - 4.0: Chocolate budino: There is lot going on here. Gelato, marshmallow, chocolate, cherry stuff. I also got two Negroni Week cocktails that were on the savory side.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. However the service was pretty slow, the food was just okay, and the worst part was that the steak was cooked inconsistently. My table ordered a ribeye and a filet mignon medium rare, however the ribeye was cooked rare and the filet mignon was cooked medium (see the photo). Super inconsistent and the water never came around to check on our food until we were basically done. The ambiance of the place was nice, but there were also some strange things: the bathroom was wet and dirty with used hot wash clothes around the sink, the pen they gave us to sign the check was dead and out of ink, the staff wasn't by the door when we went to pick up our leftovers (I literally had to pull a Larry David and walk behind the counter to find my leftovers amongst the rest). The drinks and the tortelli pasta were both delicious and extremely well presented.

Yelp
I had to complain so many times, and I do not want to complain anymore. We had reservation at 7:30pm, seated at 7:45, server came to order drink at 8:15. One of the server took our bottle after we sat and never came back. We made our first complain, one manager asked, said would check, and never came back. Had to return two drinks (those ramos fizz) because they were too bland. I asked the serve if the kitchen would be able to cut the megahawk for me, he said he would ask, then he never came back During our dining, he rarely asks. He never introduced his name. This is my forth time here. And looks at the red wine glass (manager said they would waive the cockage fee $50 for us since they had to use different kind of glass). The bread and small dished stayed until the end. Nobody cared to clean. Server did not come to ask how it was even once (and even after he gave the cocktail menu at the 2nd time). This is not 4$ restaurant. I gave up, feel like cheap restaurant.

Yelp
Came here for sunday brunch and the experience was great. Our server was super attentive and helpful. There was a lot of selection of food, but also not really. What caught my eye was the caviar bar. Which buffet has a caviar bar?! It's pretty cool and typical for what you would expect from a buffet. The desserts were mini size which is good so we could try everything. The highlight was probably the clam chowder! At this price point, it's ok! i'll come back if my friends want to but probably will not choose it myself

Yelp
Hands down one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, the hospitality is next level. Our server Paul went above and beyond to help us have the best dinner possible. On top of the service, every dish was beautifully presented, explained, and delicious. If you want to splurge for a celebration or just enjoy a really nice dinner, Be.Steak.A is a must visit. We went on a Thursday night to celebrate a birthday and made a reservation a few days before. The parking is packed so plan on arriving a little early to find parking. The meal took just under 3 hours but the pacing was perfect. Our water was always filled and the food came out swiftly. I loved every dish but the Ribeye and Rock Shrimp Gratin was next level. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Everything here was good, but nothing was outstanding. If you do go there, you should definitely go for the meats like the prime rib and beef wellington. The caviar is all you can eat, too, but it tastes like cheap caviar. The vibes are nice -- an upscale "Sunday brunch" vibes. The staff were very friendly. Would go back, but maybe like once a year.

Yelp
This restaurant will always be hard to be when it comes to service. I still love when you enter they give you a nice, hot cup of bone broth! That sets the tone. Actually when they open the door for you automatically before that, that sets the tone. When you come, then they spend a minute or two to set up the table and then take you back and you pass by the kitchen, which has these huge windows and you can see the whole operation. Very cool. The service is extra extraordinary. You will feel really well taken care of. The waiters will chitchat you up for sure they'll find some topic, trust me I'm sure they're trained. Good management. The food is delicious. and the drinks are quite good as well. Bravo to the bartender. I admit, it is a bit pricey, but the experience is fantastic and you feel just a little bit special during this meal.

Yelp
My friend and I came here for a birthday dinner date. We had a reservation and were seated upon arrival. Please note that the restaurant is by the Pruneyard in Campbell where parking can be scarce. Food: Please note that the menu changes seasonally. We were given a crudite platter to start, and we ordered the bread service. The crudite platter was good. The bread service as great. The parker rolls were my favorite. I ordered the Corzetti for appetizer. It was pretty good. I would order it again. The restaurant being an Italian inspired steakhouse is nice, gives more options for entrees! My friend and I also shared the fries, the yams, and the mashed potatoes. All items were standard. I would recommend them all. My friend ordered the Hot Stone Trio. This came with 3 types of wagyu beef and you were given a hot stone to grill your slices of wagyu. It was a fun experience they enjoyed. For dessert, we received a smores cake to celebrate the birthday. We also then ordered the chocolate molten cake and every ice cream flavor they had. It was a sweet time. The smores cake was good. The ice cream was delicious. The molten cake was a big portion and also good. Service: Service was good and friendly. Our server told us ahead of time that he was new to the restaurant and apologized for any lapse in service. It was overall good service though. The food came out at a good pace from the kitchen. TL;DR - Good restaurant with a good selection for entrees.

Yelp
I was here last week to celebrate a good friend's birthday on a Friday evening. We we were seated in the back right window, along with another large party beside us who was also celebrating a birthday. They hand you small cups of bone broth before you are seated which is nice touch. First off, the ambiance is nice and what you would expect from an upper tier steakhouse. The group decided to share large orders of meat between 2 people per order, and we of course ordered more sides than we really needed. I shared the Ribeye and although we ordered it Medium, it was cooked closer to Medium Well, which is what I actually like. I don't know if it was just this evening, but another order at our table was also cooked warmer than they had ordered. The other standout for me was the Pork Fried Rice, but made with risotto. Some of us almost chuckled when our waiter highly suggested this dish but it pleasantly surprised almost all of us. It comes a bit spicy so be warned. Next time I came back, I think I would be happy with just the Ribeye and pork fried rice. As a bonus, there are small jars of unique candy you can pick from, as you walk out the restaurant.

Yelp
Paul is the reason I keep coming back to Be.Steak.A. I've been requesting him as our server for over a year now, and he never disappoints. His fun personality paired with truly first-class service elevates the entire dining experience. He's attentive without being overbearing, genuinely funny, and always makes us feel taken care of from start to finish. Hands down, Paul is the best server I've had the pleasure of being served by--he turns a great meal into a memorable experience every single time.

Yelp
The filet mignon was good! I liked it better than the fattier rib-eye. Sides were good (mashed potatoes, truffle fries), but would probably skip them if you get full easily.

Yelp
I've been to this place a few times since it's right down the road from where I live. The food is great, the steak is good. I've had a few of their dishes and I haven't been disappointed by any of them. This is a solid place to go for date night or for a celebration. A little on the pricier side, and maybe a bit more pricy than I think the food is worth, but still will continue coming back here. I am a huge fan of their mashed potatoes. The oysters are very unique. Love their pasta.

Yelp
On a whim, we decided to go here for my birthday dinner, called at 2pm and they were able to give us a reservation for 5pm, they sat us in the patio which was very nicely done with heatlamps and comfy seating. This was our first time there, as we arrived, we were given some homemade chicken bone broth to sip as they walked us to our table. Since we told them it was my birthday, there was a birthday card on the table signed by the staff that were to serve us along with a crisp $2 bill (this was a very nice touch). Before anything got started, our server came out with a tray and a couple hot towels for us to wipe our hands with before we started. My wife had the cocktail (Inuendo) and I had the mocktail (1st base), both were tasty and their naming was cute too. Our server Rosanna gave us the rundown on the menu after we informed her that my wife needed GF options and she proceeded to tell her all the options that were available to her (which was practically everything except for a few items on the menu). I said I'm into steak and was given the rundown on the different cuts that they have, I settle on the porterhouse (I expected it to be in the 24oz size or less) and wife ordered the lobster risotto, side of rock shrimp gratin, with the Steak tartar to start. They first brought out a nice little veggie dish with slices zucchinis and Belgium endives, edible flower and a garlic dip, all a nice start. Then came out the Steak tartar, they brought out some endives for my wife since the tartar came with grilled brioche. Then one of the servers came out with a tray and on the tray was a 49oz porterhouse and showed me that was what I ordered and they are now going to cook that! The steak/risotto/rock shrimp gratin came and we were delighted, the steak was cook rare to perfection and the lobster was grilled to perfection. All wonderfully cooked and super tasty. We did not finish it all and they boxed it all up for us to take home. Then came the dessert options, they said the Chocolate souffle was GF and we ordered that. They also brought out a baked alaska for my birthday dessert (did not expect this but was a nice little surprise to end the meal). Everything was rock solid, food and service. The servers were supper attentive but not too annoying. Talkative but not too much. Extremely professional and polite. If you do order the porterhouse or the tomahawk, be prepared, it's $6/oz but it was so worth it. I'd definitely go again to try the other dishes they have to offer, even though this is mostly a steak-house, their offering on how they prepare is what sets them apart from others. Special occasion or not, this is a great experience of a dinner!

Yelp
We were lucky enough to go to Be.Steak.A for Sunday brunch. When you walk up, the front door is so beautiful. We got to see it because we arrived a little early as they opened at 10 o'clock when you first entered they offer you, Prosecco or sparkling apple juice both were chilled perfectly and tasted wonderful. We were seated and I wasn't so crazy about the table because I don't like the kind of tables where you have to slide into them, but it is what it is as we're walking in the guy was explaining to us the different areas, the different foods and that was great. When you first walk in you pass a candy station once we sat down and got the layer of the lamb we started gathering our food will know first we stopped at the bathroom, which is exceptional they have those fancy toilets that open up when you enter and they're heated to 105° so you backside is very comfortable. Each of the door had a different name of a woman which I thought was very strange, but anyway, I used the Isabel where you washed your hands. You could do it inside the bathroom or outside and it had fresh towels to wipe your hands salts to make your hands nice and smooth. It was very luxurious. All the food was great and the people that were cooking in the room with the red carpet. we're so nice. I loved all the Latino workers they were really exceptionally kind and helpful. I loved that they had Nutella and fresh whipped cream available and my favorite food in that room were the avocado toast because the bread was phenomenal. I loved the steak and potato hash. I just kept eating the potatoes and the grilled vegetables were otherworldly. They were so good. I loved toad in a hole and the bacon! They were lots of options. Those are just my favorites in the main dining room area. They had so many things and I loved the deviled eggs, the crab, although I do wish it had been sawed open for me like in Vegas. I wasn't that impressed with their dessert selection to me. The chocolate chip cookies were burnt other than that, everything was just spot on wonderful. What was really kind is that the chef made us some fresh chocolate chip cookies that weren't burnt. Excellent customer care. We really loved the melon Boba drink drinks. I think we had like six of them. One other complaint, coffee is not provided you have to pay extra for it and that just seemed crazy to me when you're paying so much to eat there I think that they should give you a cup of coffee. Regardless, I can't wait to go again!

Yelp
We enjoyed a beautiful dinner here to celebrate a special anniversary. With a last minute reservation on a Sunday evening, four of us were seated at a nice table in the side room. The bone broth offered upon entering was kind of interesting and unique, the broth was actually very tasty. Being a first timer here, and treated by our friends we shied away from the high priced items. We shared all our orders Appetizers/sides: Hamachi crudo (excellent but small), Truffle fries very addictive and well cooked in generous portion, Rock shrimp gratin quite tasty, caesar salad fresh, lightly dressed very sharable. The grilled asparagus was over cooked and partially burned, roasted mushrooms were a little too dry as well. Our main courses consisted of Filet , Ambassador /Australian wagyu ,duck breast and a Hot Stone Trio. Personally not a fan of Wagyu, I enjoyed my filet better than the hot stone trio. At $230 per order for 3X2oz varieties of wagyu that served with three different sauces and a hot stone to heat the meat; it was more for show imho. The Tiramisu at the end served at table side was very good we all enjoyed a lot. This is definitely a special occasion restaurant, great ambiance, services and décor. Next time we might try the sharable steaks.

Yelp
Overall an excellent experience! Decided to drop in here last minute for an anniversary. Service was top notch with a good balance between attentive and allowing privacy. Our server explained the menu, provided eucalyptus towels to fresh our hands before the meal, and was very informative. Also mentioned that the menu was recently updated after a chef returned from Italy. The ribeye steak hit the spot! Couldn't decide whether I liked it better with the truffle sauce or carrots vichy, which added a sweet touch to it. Nice interior, organized tables, clean bathrooms with bidets, and a salt scrub at the sink which really leaves your hands feeling soft, moisturized, and nourished! The only thing that I actually did not like was my chair. It was a bit large, slightly declined, and low--fine for relaxing back and lounging, but not for those with stiff hips or back pain. I sat at the edge of my seat with my feet underneath the chair, pressed on my toes and effortfully extended my back in order to eat comfortably.

Yelp
This is the first time to have a dinner there for celebrating our Anniversary. The service is fantastic and all waiters are nice and helpful, they gave us a free desert after dinner! The facility is good and environment is great. Wine is great! We ordered a steak and asked cook in mediem well but that is burnt! All steak is in black and tasted bitter. The chef use a grilled mushroom to cover the steak surface , In the dim light, we were already halfway through eating the steak when it started to taste bitter. We were too embarrassed to say anything.but felt not pleasant. Hi chief ,Don't you feel guilty about giving us this burnt steak and charged for $260?

Yelp
Amazing food coupled with outstanding service. Wish they had a location in my hometown.

Yelp
Came here a couple weeks ago for an early Valentine's Day dinner. Booking a reservation a few days prior was super easy. You can call them and book over the phone. When we arrived around 6:30pm, there were still plenty of tables open. Upon checking in, we were offered chicken broth to warm our stomachs as we were taken to our table. Our server, Bob was awesome. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the restaurant's menu. We ended up ordering a couple appetizers along with ravioli and the lobster pasta (I forgot what it was labeled as). For the appetizers, the French onion soup was delicious. The broth tasted rich yet light. The spicy meatball was one of my favorites during this meal. We ended up enjoying the lobster pasta more than the ravioli. The ravioli was made from veal (baby cow) but it had a smell to it that I couldn't get past while eating it. The lobster pasta was delicious and had a umami flavor. We also did order a side of truffle fries and oh my gosh, the side portion was humongous! We ended up having to take the rest home. The sauce it came with was sensational. A great dipping sauce to add to the fries itself. I would come back here again to try the other dishes in the future. They took fine dining with their service to another level.

Yelp
a long overdue review! we had a reservation at 8pm for a friday night (may 2025) and surprisingly, the place was not filled and a lot of emptied tables. we were greeted promptly with the host and they welcomed us with some warm broth right when you checked in. our server Aaron was funny and attentive. He knows how to make the room fill with laughter and make good suggestions. the restaurant offered complimentary crudites with their homemade mascarpone cheese dip. that dip was so good and different. drink: each signature cocktail has a very creative flavor so we each ordered two drinks food: caviar bump - a nice way to start of the dinner oyster - no word to be honest, just so fresh and the condiments really compliment each oyster burrata pugliese - cherry tomato confit, basil, sumac, and freshly made gnocco fritto. the gnocco fritto is the star of this dish to be honest, so soft and airy on the inside and lightly crunch on the outside. and when you put the burrata and everything else inside the gnocco, you have a little mini hot pocket. aka flavor bomb artichoke dip - looks heavy but very light appetizer. presentation wise isn't the best as it looks like it's very heavy and oily. not so much wow about this dish but we dipped the gnocco fritto just to try and it was okay grilled asparagus - calabrian chili crisp, fermented black bean, honey. we only ordered this dish because of the table next to us haha. this dish is giving asian flavors and the toppings added extra texture and flavors duck - lowkey raw-ish but still doable for us. the sauce didn't really help much. presentable needs a pop of green or something. overall lack of flavors and wow factors crab garganelli - yuzu, butter, kaluga caviar, smoked trout roe, creme fraiche. this is our favorite dish of all! having yuzu in a pasta dish really brings out the flavor and a touch of citrusy helps cut down the heaviness of the dish dessert: mixed berry trifle - the gelato and the berries really compliments each other. the roasted sesame seeds added texture over to the dessert. happy to end the meal with the suggestion from the server overall would come back!

Yelp
Came here for the first time for my birthday! And wow! When we first arrived they offer chicken broth that was DELISH! Then they walked us to our table, inside was absolutely gorgeous, fancy enough to dress up but also could be casual as well. Service was very attentive and everyone was on top of their game.... Okay so the food, we didn't order one thing we didn't like. We ended up ordering a 50oz porter and 50oz tomahawk AND DAMNNNN medium rare, perfection. The appetizers were great too! My favorite were the yam stones! They definitely know their steak!

Yelp
We have been to Be. Steak. A. for dinner but had been wanting to try their brunch. I am so glad we finally did! There were different sections for hot foods, chilled foods, and dessert. I really enjoyed the caviar bar, oysters shrimp and prime rib. The filet mignon was looking a little sad so we skipped it. Oysters were mini but totally fine since it was a buffet. The mini crème brûlée and lime pineapple juice were surprisingly good. Service was great as always. Candy bar at the end is always a nice touch.

Yelp
Upscale vibe as soon as you walk in through the large wood auto opening door and greeted by friendly staff and presented immediately with a hot cup of bone broth. Though the name emphasizes steak there are plenty of other options that make the menu intriguing. For a Monday night we decided to go the pasta route and some sides to accompany them. Tortelli Verdi- a pinwheel pasta stuffed with kale & spinach and prepared al dente. Visually appealing when served but slightly lacking in flavor on seasoning so looks were deceiving. Gnocchi Parisienne- Another visual presentation however the gnocchi was on the gummy side and not a pillowy version as I would have hoped. The duck confit with balsamic/tarragon sauce had a delicate blend as its pairing with currants were successful. Marinated beets- Was excited to taste the jalapeno but couldn't find that flavor profile as this dish was very similar to other pickled beet dishes. Grilled Asparagus - probably the best dish of the night as the fried calabrian pieces packed a punch and the asparagus were cooked to perfection. Overall, service & presentation were excellent but the dishes were underwhelming however since our gift card still has a balance a return trip is in our future and who can resist the bowls of candy that awaits as you leave.

Yelp
Celebrated husband's birthday on a week night. The restaurant was crowded. We were greeted by warm chicken broth, and hubby got a birthday card with a special $2 dollar bill inside. We ordered French onion soup, yam stones, Caesar salad, pork fried rice, and recommended 'The Be.Steak.A.' We received Baked Alaska as a complimentary birthday dessert. We enjoyed the food, especially pork fried rice and steak. Baked Alaska was pretty special, too. We definitely would come back for a special occasion. Note: the restaurant does a living wage surcharge

Yelp
We chose this restaurant specifically because we prefer outdoor dining, and they offer a heated patio. The patio itself was beautifully decorated and had a great ambiance. Service was generally good and very polished--everyone was in suits, presentation was sharp, and chilled forks were offered, which felt upscale. That said, there were moments when we weren't sure where our server had gone, with long stretches between check-ins. One moment that stood out: when we asked to see the wine list, our server asked what styles we liked and then disappeared. It seemed he was selecting a wine for us, which was unexpected--especially since there was no mention of price. I mistakenly assumed it might be on the house, but later learned it was $36 per glass, which felt like a bold assumption without checking first. The menu could also be clearer. We ordered the ambassador steak thinking it came with duck fat fries, but instead it arrived as three very small, unimpressive bites. The mushrooms were great but the mashed potatoes seemed overpriced for the portion size. Overall, though, the food was quite good. The Caesar salad was a bit heavy on the pepper for my taste, but the tiramisu was outstanding. One final bummer: I was very full and still had a small piece of steak left. We asked for our leftovers to be boxed up, but the steak never made it into the box :( In short: beautiful space, generally strong food, and polished service--but some communication gaps and value issues that added up, especially at this price point.

Yelp
The food was OK. The service was OK. The ambience was OK. It was an OK dining experience. But for the price point, it was underwhelming. After eating here once, I won't rush to come back. It just wasn't worth it for the price and there's plenty of other nearby restaurants at this price point that provide a better overall dining experience.

Yelp
With this being my first official review of 2025, I wanted to pick a special spot... Enter Be.Steak.A. For Campbell, this is one of my favorites. Definitely the best special occasion restaurant in the city. You'll immediately figure this out by the sheer number of birthdays that are being celebrated here on any given night. Excluding my own birthday, there were at least 3 others when we were most recently there for dinner. So why is this such a great choice. For the TLDR version, amazing atmosphere, service, drinks and food...not much else you can ask for right? To expand on all of the above: ATMOSPHERE - Tasteful without being over the top. SERVICE - Every single person that we've interacted with have been fantastic. As far as waiters, Enrique is truly amazing. He helped guide us from beginning to end and curated a meal that was simply delicious every step of the way. DRINKS - Totally on point. Amari Old Fashioned is a great whisky option. For mocktails, I highly recommend the Veni Vidi Vici (nice creamsicle flair). FOOD - As the name of the restaurant already implies, you really come for the steak here. If you want to enjoy a completely pure steak flavor like no other, the Kawami Duo (4 oz of delmonico & 4 oz of spinalis) is a must try. Not a huge portion, but oh so tasty. For more of a traditional, larger-sized portion, you can't go wrong with the 18 oz wood-fired Ribeye. With its truffle port reduction sauce, this is such a great steak. If you really want to splurge, go for the Japanese A5 Wagyu that they have. As far as sides & small bites go, the spicy meatball, deviled egg and especially the marinated beets are all awesome. And getting the Prosciutto Di San Danielle carved tableside is a really cool experience. And if you're a dessert person, you absolutely must leave room for the Chocolate Budino. The fusion of chocolate cake and banana confit/gelato is perfect. To wrap this all up, Be.Steak.A is not cheap...but you definitely get what you pay for and a truly memorable experience is delivered from start to finish!

Yelp
Showmanship at its best. Service was fantastic. The service is seamless, no interruption to ask if you need anything. The moment you walk in they offer a complimentary bone broth shot. After being sat at the table the server brings over a snack letting you know it is a gift from the house. (giving a gift and telling people it is gift is a age old selling tactic) We had the Tuesday Special and it was spectacular. The Wedge salad was different but perfect. Tomahawk was the star of the show. Pasta was very good. Baked Alaska was a very nice Anniversary surprise. only thing that was a bit of a miss was the stuffed squash blossom, It had very nice flavor although the texture was a bit soggy. If you are looking for a special place for a special occasion you should give this spot a try. We will be back.

Yelp
I recently came here to celebrate a double birthday party and we were fortunate that the restaurant were able to accommodate our party of 18 in a side by side table configuration. We had relatively early evening Friday night reservation and getting situated was a breeze. Once settled in, we began to order appetizers to share. The Bone Marrow and Burrata were the standouts for me. Shortly thereafter, the main plate arrived for us and that was their Porterhouse and their Mega-Hawk Chop steaks. They even provided us complimentary Baked Alaska desserts for the table. Throughout the evening, our wait staff were tremendous and everything was cooked to perfection.

Yelp
We came here for the Sunday brunch and it was truly amazing. It's one of the best buffet brunch I've had in the South Bay in recent years. There was a good selection of seafood, meat, appetizers, salad, pastries and dessert. The food offered at the buffet was definitely good quality. The individual portions were small enough so you won't end up wasting too much food while still able to try a variety of offerings. We also ordered coffee with the meal. Even though the coffee is not included with buffet price, it's really good quality coffee served in elegant glassware. Our waiter Aaron was friendly and service was excellent. Kitchen and dining rooms are clean. We love the experience.

Yelp
Very welcoming polite service/reception. Casual atmosphere although wait staff is well dressed. Say yes to the chicken bone broth -savory chicken flavor I would willing drink a bowl of. Caesar salad: one of the best I've had. Great texture, crunchy and soft with the different ingredients. A little salty but overall I was happy that all the salad was not wilted. King crab fazolleto: very light dish surprisingly. It's like a pasta wrap of king crab in a light sauce. Filet mignon: hubby ordered this. He wanted it well done so they butterfly it. It was too dry for me. Pan seared scallops: my favorite dish of the night. Scallops were seared well but soft inside. The polenta went well with it. Eggplant: innovative dish with thin crispy eggplant chips. Marinara sauce on the bottom as contrast with cheese. Nicely reconstructed eggplant Parmesan. Marinated beets: sweet beet in a tangy balsamic sauce.

Yelp
Delicious high quality food with amazing options! We got the waygu and some pasta and they were both made and plated beautifully. The fried rice and mashed potatoes were amazing. Bar seating was quick and it gives an amazing luxury experience. The service as just okay, one bartender was wonderful and the other wasn't too kind,

Yelp
The food here was so good! My partner made a reservation to go here for our anniversary and it was a great place. Started off with some oysters. The sauce that came with it made it 100x more better. For the main entrees, I ordered the Ambassador and my partner got the Koji aged center cut strip loin with a small dish of carrots with some sauce on it. Both were amazing, I just wish the Ambassador was a bit bigger than 7oz. We also got a side order of the mashed potatoes thinking it wasn't going to be spectacular, but I personally really liked it. It was flavorful and I kept going back for more. For the dessert, we ordered a Mixed berry trifle to share together. A little surprise came out and we also had a free smores treat for our anniversary! The Mixed berry trifle was good; angel food cake and mixed berries can never go wrong. The smores treat was good as well. The torched marshmallows gave it a lot of the flavor and I usually don't like marshmallows. Service was awesome, we were checked up on a few times and plates were immediately removed if seen empty. Vibes here is great, it was busy by dinner time. Lots of parties and mingling going on. Overall, I'd love to come back sometime soon, probably bring some friends as well!

Yelp
I'm giving this 5 stars even though we didn't have a full meal there, because based on our drinks and snacks at the bar, I am quite sure a meal would be fantastic (and expensive lol) The service is amazing. Even just sitting at the bar, the bartenders were super friendly and helpful and even the GM came by to talk to us. They have happy hour drink specials, which are an incredible bargain at $10. I don't think they're full pours and it's well alcohol but still quality stuff (i.e., not handles of vodka or gin haha). Not sure if it's because of HH or everyone gets this, but we were brought a wonderful crudite and we ordered hot pockets which were superb. Nothing there is cheap, but for a special occasion, it should be on everyone's list. I can't wait to come back for a full dinner and need to find an excuse to celebrate soon!

Yelp
Had a wonderful Christmas eve dinner here. You get a hot cup of chicken (?) broth when you walk in. The only reservations available were outdoor tables and we found that it wasn't too cold actually, with all the extra space heaters. They offered a complimentary veggies with white miso bean and cheese dip which was delicious. Burrata pugliese: 5/5 (So delicious especially with the gnocco frito they provide. The tomatoes and burrata paired so perfectly and wasn't tart at all.) Roasted bone marrow: 4.5/5 (I loved scopping out the bone marrow and it was so delicious on the bread) Mega-hawk: 5/5 (Perfectly cooked to a medium steak) Pork fried rice: 4/5 (spicier than we were expecting) Gnocchi parisienne: 3.5/5 (nothing too special about this pasta but it was still good. Just a little lackluster compared to the other delicious dishes.) Yam stones: 4.5/5 (I really liked the texture of these yam stones which were almost mochi-like.) Great experience at this restaurant and everything was so tasty!
