Beyond Restaurant

I booked a Christmas Eve lunch here to end my family's 2.5-week holiday in South Africa, and I could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we first stepped in to our goodye to our waitress, every bit was wonderful. Amanda and the other waiters were very considerate and took their time with us. All of the food was delicious, you could really tell a lot of attention went into selecting and pairing ingredients and the plating of the dishes. We went for three courses, plus the opening "chef's course" which was a delightful tuna amuse bouche. We had such a brilliant experience, that I would definitely come back here if I were to visit Cape Town or Constantia again.

We had the most incredible dinner at Beyond for our wedding. The attention to detail in every single dish was out of this world, and the food was truly something special. We had the entire restaurant booked, and every table was so impressed with both the food and the service. It’s rare to find a place where everything just works seamlessly . Literally from the setting to the staff to the presentation, everything was out of this world and Beyond absolutely nailed it. I’ll definitely be back many more times because this is one of those places you simply have to experience at least once in your life.

Boxing Day at Beyond. The gate was closed, not very welcoming for guests. Asked upfront for a table outside, ‘fully booked’, but just a few tables were occupied. Strange, the garden is very nice though. Too expensive for what you get. And upselling about the ‘waygu meat’ No X-mas decorations at all (anymore). Many better places and much cheaper.

Brought my mom for a bday treat and the Spring Special which is fabulous value for money. The space is so lovely and comfortable. The food is impeccable. Beautiful on the eye and the palate. Very kind service too. Highly recommended.

Extraordinary dishes. Excellent service. Beautiful estate. Driving up to the restaurant you do pass some industrial looking parts. Would be better if that were more tidy.

So nice to visit a top class restaurant that has not succumbed to sharing plates or set tasting menus. A six course tasting menu is offered but you can also choose two or three courses from a selection of starters, mains and desserts. The duck starter was perfectly cooked with a beautiful smoked flavour, and the beetroot salad accompanying it was full of flavour. I had the cape fish main, which was kingklip, again perfectly cooked with an amazing sauce. The team were friendly and attentive throughout, and a good selection of wines. A great experience.

Beautiful restaurant, great service. Good food.However they should offer a choice of wine by the glass especially when offering Chef’s choice menu for food n wine pairing.

Wonderful experience, great combination between luxurious presentation and cozy feeling with a beautiful and unique view of the vineyards and mountains. We went there for their 3-course lunch menu and were pleasantly surprised at the overall experience. The food itself was delicious, we tasted quite a few items of the menu and enjoyed the combinations of flavors. No super crazy over the top combinations, but well balanced and tasty flavors with some fun and unique twists in there. (Definitely try their waygu brisket starter if available 👌🏼). The cocktails and soft drinks were just as good with some delicious twists on some well knows classics. The atmosphere was a perfect balance between a casual and chique restaurant with a homey feeling. No need to take your best suit or dress, but a comfortable neat outfit works well. And this also showed in the staff, they were friendly, gave great high end service as you would expect in a fancy restaurant while keeping a more personal attitude (in a very positive way). Our waiter was lovely and you could see him enjoying his work as he presented the dishes with great descriptions, which made the experience only better. Thank you Robin! (I hope I spelled your name correctly). The price was nothing too crazy. You pay more than a restaurant downtown but you get so much more that it's definitely worth the price. Overall a great restaurant for a more luxurious experience for a good price, highly recommend going here! 10/10
