Beyond Restaurant

Beautiful location, but otherwise just ok. Service friendly and attentive, but kitchen seems to have issues, some courses come after 5, some after 20 minutes. On a Sunday visit, very noisy. I rate it significantly below Waterside or Coy, not worth the drive.

By far the best restaurant we visited in South Africa. Every detail was impeccable — from the warm, attentive service to the exceptional food, wines, and cocktails. Each course was a standout, and the luxurious vineyard views were truly the cherry on top. A must-visit for anyone coming to South Africa if you’re looking for a memorable, elevated dining experience. A quick shoutout to Jarred for his service! Highlights for us were the duck liver parfait, tuna tartare, beautifully crafted cocktails, Chardonnay, dessert wines, and of course the outstanding service paired with breathtaking vineyard views.

My overall food experience at Beyond was Incredible. It was flavor packed and well presented. I would say it was pretty much faultless with most of the meals being above an 8 or 9 out of 10. We were seated right in the corner which partially blocked our view of the beautiful vineyard and asked to be moved to another empty table that was situated better but were unfortunately denied said request. Not sure why this was the case, given that the table was empty, but perhaps someone had specifically booked that table(something to keep in mind). The only other dampener of the experience was that there was couple of fly's that flew around our table and we constantly had to shoo away, after having landed on our food, which was a bit of an annoyance but otherwise the room temperature was nice an cool, especially on such a hot day.

Definitely amongst my favourite wine farm restaurants. Very reasonably priced for lunch, where you can choose 2 or 3 courses. The duck starter was outstanding, especially the duck liver parfait Service was excellent, with good wine advice Beautiful setting outside

Been to some star restaurants all over the world but Beyond is definitely under the top 3. The whole composition is outrageously good and in total for an absolut fair price. Can't really picture that they ever did less than 5 stars

I booked a Christmas Eve lunch here to end my family's 2.5-week holiday in South Africa, and I could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we first stepped in to our goodye to our waitress, every bit was wonderful. Amanda and the other waiters were very considerate and took their time with us. All of the food was delicious, you could really tell a lot of attention went into selecting and pairing ingredients and the plating of the dishes. We went for three courses, plus the opening "chef's course" which was a delightful tuna amuse bouche. We had such a brilliant experience, that I would definitely come back here if I were to visit Cape Town or Constantia again.

We had the most incredible dinner at Beyond for our wedding. The attention to detail in every single dish was out of this world, and the food was truly something special. We had the entire restaurant booked, and every table was so impressed with both the food and the service. It’s rare to find a place where everything just works seamlessly . Literally from the setting to the staff to the presentation, everything was out of this world and Beyond absolutely nailed it. I’ll definitely be back many more times because this is one of those places you simply have to experience at least once in your life.

Brought my mom for a bday treat and the Spring Special which is fabulous value for money. The space is so lovely and comfortable. The food is impeccable. Beautiful on the eye and the palate. Very kind service too. Highly recommended.
