The Best Restaurants on Seattle’s Capitol Hill | Eater Seattle

"The hand-pulled noodles, the recipe for which comes via co-owner Sia Zhang’s grandmother, are obviously the big-ticket item — they’re chewy and at their best topped with a piquant, tongue-tingling vegetarian take on mapo tofu. But don’t miss the dumplings; the same level of dough finesse is evident in their slightly springy wrappers. You can sip on a limited lineup of interesting drinks downstairs, but it’s worth ascending the mezzanine to Paper Fan Cocktail Bar before or after dinner for the moody, slightly kitschy atmosphere as much as the tea-infused drink list. (Paper Fan is tiny and trendy, so reservations are a good idea.) To cap off the night, duck next door to R&M Dessert Bar for a takeaway tart that will ruin you for all other shortcrust pastry." - Sophie Grossman

Biang Biang Noodles in Cap Hill was on my list to try for hand pulled noodles — and it delivered a satisfying, flavorful experience that stood out for me in Seattle’s vibrant food scene. The hand pulled noodles— were perfectly cooked with a wonderful texture that was both chewy and tender. Our table tried both the dry noodles and the soup broth version, and both were exceptional. The dry noodles were flavorful on their own, while the broth added an extra layer of warmth and depth. The cucumber salad on the side was a refreshing touch, with just the right balance of acidity and flavor, offering a nice contrast to the richness of the noodles. The only downside was that it was a bit crowded when we visited, but thankfully the wait wasn't too long. The vibe was lively, but not overwhelming, which made the experience pleasant. Overall, this place has earned a spot on my list of go-to spots in the city. The food is flavorful, the service is quick.

The food was really tasty! We had leftover sauce after finishing the noodles, and they let us order three more. The scallion pancakes were good as well as the veggie roles. The curry sauce was tasty, but I don’t think I’d pay the $2 upgrade charge to get it next time. I definitely want to come back to try the other flavors. Vegan options clearly marked, and I love how they can open the windows in the restaurant to give you the fresh outdoor air.

Google
We tried the dry beef noodles not bad but not that good, and the portion was quite generous. The salt & pepper chicken wings had great flavor, but most of them were drumsticks rather than actual wings. The dumplings were just okay. Overall, a decent experience.

Google
Really big plates for $18! Large amount of chewy noodles and crispy, crunchy cabbage. I don't even like cabbage, but theirs was nice and refreshing! The mild sauce is flavorful and not too spicy. The lamb was good, but I wish there was more lamb and that it was sliced thinner. If you like meat and don't like veggies, make sure to pay for extra protein! My wife enjoyed her veggie noodles. Do note that some of the "vegan available" options need to be specified as vegan when ordered, as they may come with fish sauce, for example. The service was pretty fast to the point that they were shooing people to leave when they finished eating, but I didn't mind since I eat pretty fast. I thought the value and taste were very good! My only complaint is that the wide bowls cool down the food quickly. They arrived warm but cooled in less than twenty minutes.

Google
Amazing spot for food in Cap Hill. Can get pretty busy even outside of regular lunch/dinner hours so expect even a short wait. Service is great, very proactive. The food is exceptional as well, noodle is very tasty and the meats are tender and well seasoned. The wings were great too. Also had the salad which was refreshing to have on the side to complement the mala taste of the noodles. Been here multiple times and always hits!

If you’re looking for a dining experience that delivers flavor from start to finish—Biang Biang Noodles is the spot. This gem in Seattle doesn’t just offer incredible food; it’s a full-on feast for the senses, from the first bite of noodles to the last sip of liquor. The Noodles: Let’s talk about the star of the show—those famous Biang Biang noodles. Made fresh and hand-pulled, these thick, chewy noodles have a perfect texture that’s hard to beat. Whether you go for the classic spicy pork or the more mellow vegetarian option, the noodles themselves are mouthwatering, soaked in rich, savory broth, and topped with a mix of chili oil, garlic, and a variety of seasonings that hit all the right notes.

William Zhang

Google
Went to the store around 6:00-no line and quick seating. The noodles were good, wished they had a bit more noodle and meat instead of veggies though. The service during the meal was fine, but when we asked for some of our leftover noodles to-go, our server packed a paper box to the brim with chili oil, which ended up leaking through the box and everywhere. Worst of all, my chair turned out to have chili oil all over it, which stained my pants and shirt. I feel like this was something that could have easily been avoided if proper care was taken to ensure each table’s cleanliness.

Google
I had the dry mix of mapo tofu and added an egg. Mouthwatering, excellent, hand-pulled noodles. My boyfriend got the Sichuan honey wings and raved about them. We also split scallion pancakes. Come hungry and prepared to eat a hug bowl of delicious spicy hand pulled noodles!

Yelp
I've been here so many times and always get their malatang beef - both the dry and soup version. I think I like the soup version more since I'm a soup girlie. But the dry version is good for days where I don't want to drink soup Service: Always so fast here! Once you order, it doesn't take that long to get your food Parking: There is street parking, but really depends on the day/time...if you can't find street parking, then there are some paid parking lots around

Yelp
3.5 The noodles hit the spot and served up a large portion, but I could taste the excessive MSG in them and the meat was too hard. The service was alright. Having liked Xi'an Famous Foods in NYC and terra cotta warrior in SF, I was excited for this but I prefer those other places.

Yelp
We waited only a few minutes for a party of two around 6ish on a weekday. Walk-ins only at this spot. Service was friendly, despite restaurant filling up and getting were busy. It did get a bit loud but I was able to still hear my friend. I felt that the noodles were a bit too greasy sitting in the hot oil. The noodles, although very chewy and hand-made, didn't absorb the sauce much at all. The veggies were doused in the oil. Meal felt very heavy. The beef was very good. I think the pork and chive dumplings were very delicious and I enjoyed the sauce that came with. Scallion pancakes were good but average.

Yelp
The interior was open and welcoming. Lots of red and beautiful signage throughout. We got seated relatively easily during a late afternoon time, we both ordered the signature biang biang noodles dry format my husband got the lamb and I got the pork. The portions were very large & the waiter explained to us that it was 4 loooong wide noodles for the dish, super interesting! The taste was flavorful, I should have ordered with some spice as my husband did and it actually tasted better. It isn't too spicy so I'd give it a go if you have some tolerance. All in all the service and food was prompt, easy to follow menu and the portions were value add!

Yelp
Walked in during dinner time as was sat right away. Everything looked good on the menu so it was quite the task narrowing it down. I went with the pork rib dry noodles and I was not disappointed! Such a huge portion with tender pork and delicious hand pulled noodles. It's a casual environment so it was a tad bit loud but still enjoyable to chat with friends at dinner. Would love to come back to try their cumin lamb noodles.

Yelp
Biang Biang Noodles was on our list of places to try for our first time in Seattle for one of two reasons! We wanted some really good noodles, and we wanted homemade noodles, and this place had some excellent reviews. We also knew that Paper Fan was a bar on the second floor that we wanted to try, so this was a win win! The group that I came with is all about trying pretty much anything and everything, and in order to eat the amount of food we wanted this trip, we decided to share everything! We were already full this night, but we did not care!!! We were getting some noodles! We were visiting Paper Fan first for cocktails and realized that we were getting close to closing time, so we ordered our dinner on the app, which was great, bc we could quickly decide what we wanted, pay out be done! We went with the Chive and Pork handmade dumplings and Mala Spicy Beef Dry Mix Noodles. Both were outstanding!!! The dumples were just delightful! They were light, and the texture of the dumpling was just beautiful and flavorful, and was just enough for the 2 bites I wanted so that I could have what little room I had left for the noods! The handpulled noodles, super fresh, loved the texture of them. The broth in the bowl, I could literally drink, but since I was sharing, decided against that!! Each bite was just better than the next. At one point, I thought, man this is really spicy, but when I looked back at the pictures, one of the first bites I took was all spices/chili, something!! So just need to mix that in a bit better next go round! If you are looking for a place that has lots of flavor, great options, and even though it looks like a lot of food, well it is, you don't leave feeling overly full! I will always have this place on my go to list when visiting Seattle!

Yelp
Overly greasy, bland, and a waste of money. The hand pulled noodles here are amazing (bouncy, chewy, and satisfying), but the preparation is utterly disappointing. The "sauce" is just oil with a bit of heat - there is no depth of flavor or salt. Just a heavy greasy mess. The vegetables are ABHORRENT. Chunks of haphazardly chopped bell peppers and onions used to obviously "bulk" up the dish. They provide no flavor or color and serve as a sad attempt at incorporating texture. The meat itself is also chewy and flavorless - if you can even excavate what little there is. The only saving grace of this place is the popcorn chicken and the noodles themselves (not the dish but the literal noodles). I genuinely do not recommend this place unless you want to actively waste your money on an inauthentic, overpriced, oily grease-fest that leaves your wallet hurting as much as your stomach.

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't reviewed Biang Biang yet. For my one year in Seattle, I came here at least a dozen times. It wasn't even close to home, maybe a 30 minute walk away, and I guarantee you -- it was worth it. Every. Single. Time. As proof, I've attached a bunch of photos I have of my food here. I've tried each of Biang Biang's types of dishes. Tips: The mala soups are the star of the show. If this is your first time, order this. I specifically recommend the Beef or Pork Rubs Mala soup. If you have the add-on pork ribs option available, definitely get it. The extra meat is 100% worth it. Also, for your first time, get the lowest spicy to start. You want to enjoy the food, not cry your way through the first time. * The hand pulled noodles are so good. The meat is tender and falls off the bone. The veggies are fresh and crispy. And the broth. Ahhh the broth. My mouth is watering as I type this. I cannot stress how amazing the broth is. If it's too spicy, wait until it's cooled down to drink the broth. * The fried chicken bao is quite delicious. I highly recommend for a second visit. Because the first visit, you will be way too full off of the delicious noodles. The second time, you'll know to save some belly room for the other items on the menu. * I also tried the fried chicken wings at some point. These were decent, but they weren't quite as standout as the bao and noodles! I will come back to Seattle specifically for this very Biang Biang Noodles. Gosh, it was so good. Massive plate of food, prompt service, and the best hand-pulled noodles I could ask for. Still on the fence? Let me tell ya -- it's worth the wait!

Yelp
Food was awesome. If you want to pace yourself do not order all your food at once as it all comes out at once. Sadly! But all in all it was delicious and the service was friendly and prompt.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday evening, expect to wait in line for dinner! Inside is a little tight and bustling but the service is super quick and efficient. They accommodated our large party, make sure to have everyone present to be seated! I ordered: - Pork ribs dry mix noodle: very chewy noodles, loved the marinade. idk why I thought it would be a powder marinade but it is like a concentrated sauce/soup situation. The meat slid off the bone real nice and they serve very large portions. Veggies were a refreshing crunch too. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Was looking forward to try the noodles here but sadly it didn't live up to the hype. The place is cute and menu was helpful with pictures, but the noodles are quite cold and taste just fine (not good or bad, just regular).

Yelp
Legit. This place is a 30 minute walk from the waterfront / Pike Place Market. We were in the mood for some good, hand pulled noodles and found a place NOT in Chinatown. We made the trek on a Wednesday early evening and were able to get seated at a table of 4 immediately. (We called to make a reservation ahead of time but our party was too small.) They have a fairly extensive menu but since we were first-timers, we ordered their Top 4 menu items to let the restaurant put their best foot forward. Man, it was good! The hand pulled noodles with beef and pork ribs is huge, but I'm almost certain it's meant for 2 people as it costs $25. The noodles were fresh, and the mix of flavors was spot on. I was most impressed with the Sichuan Hot Wings. While not cheap, they were huge, the right amount of spice, extra crispy, and perfectly cooked. The green onion pie and dumplings were also great as expected but not the best I've ever had. Service was good (not spectacular but not bad either) and ambiance was nicer than a hole in the wall and decently spacious given the location. If you're in the Seattle area and craving hand pulled noodles and wings, give this place a try. Start with the Top 4!

Yelp
I absolutely love hand pulled noodles so I made sure to visit this restaurant when I was visiting Seattle from Houston. They only take reservations for parties of 9 or more, and since my party was too small I had to walk in. There was no wait and I was seated promptly on a Wednesday evening. The decor was basic and clean. I very much appreciated that they had a menu that highlighted their top 4 dishes, which is what I ended up ordering. The waitress was friendly and bought us water and extra bowls. The Biang biang noodles were spectacular! The dry mix with the beef and pork perfectly complimented the chewy seasoned noodles. The wings were also quite delicious with a unique honey and sichuan peppercorn seasoning. The green onion pie was piping hot and crispy. The only dish that was not great were the dumplings. The filling was okay and the skin was too mushy for me. My diagnosis: this is a must try if you are craving hand pulled noodles!

Yelp
Delicious hand pulled noodles that is true to their spice level. Ordered Cumin lamb soup noodle with medium spicy Lychee martini Lychee beer Curry chicken dry noodle Bowls present in a large plate with a shallow-ish bowl. Ambiance is modern and the staff are attentive.

Yelp
When I saw one of the yelp Community managers check in here this morning I added this place to my collections of places to try. Late in the afternoon I attended an elite Yelp event, but traffic was an hour drive back home. Come to find out Biang Biang was just a mile away. So glad we stopped to try this place. So tasty! My hubby loved his curry dish, and I loved the six piece wings, and hand made dumplings. Dumplings were so soft it was delicate. Loved the sauce it came with. My fave was the crispy chicken wings so much flavor. Decor was cute, and the gals were so sweet. Mei told me I needed to come back to check out the speakeasy upstairs.

Yelp
If you like sichuan mala spices, you will love this place. The extra wide noodles were chewy and SO delicious. I highly recommend the beef noodle soup. It was better than the dry version. The cocktails were fun and also pretty tasty too. The onion pancakes were good but the portion was much smaller than expected. We had a group of 8 for dinner on a Thursday evening and we only had to wait a few minutes. Parking was another matter. We drove around for about 15 mins before finding a parking spot.

Yelp
"BIANG-BIANG-BIANG.... Biangin' biangin' biangin'!" As a fire-breathing OG-Dragon might say. This place was Biangin'! Yup, it's worth it. The wide noodles were so good. The soup and the dry options were good. The spiciness was perfect. Ugh, I still dream about these noodles. Vibes: on fleek - heh. Is this still in use? There was a whole range of music, but I just remember the KPop. It was packed with a bunch of different humans of all walks of life all at different tables. It was like a harmonic balancer with noodles being the crux at this hip, American establishment. Historically, this is a shift away from "exoticism." We were all enjoying a big fat bowl of noodles!

Yelp
Biang biang noodles Full of goodness you oodle Your house noodle dry dish was so on point Gonna have to make ensure you visit this joint Their dumpling and sauce were amazing And their cucumber salad was great with their dressing. Ok this place is solid! Delicious noodles (got the signature noodle dish, cucumber salad, and dumplings. You can even order double noodles if you want to share. Their dumpling soy sauce and vinegar sauce was out of this world though. I even dipped my regular noodles into it because it was so good. Also the decor and music made the place vibe. Love it here.

Yelp
So upset that the popcorn chicken was so mid. :( The chicken itself was dry and bland, not even the seasoning powdered on top or the sauce on the side could help it. Definitely pass on the popcorn chicken when you come here.
google avatar

Yelp
Biang Biang noodles were pretty good and I wouldn't mind coming back again. Portion sizes were huge and the pork noodle dish was pretty tasty. We went to the Capitol Hill location and were able to get in right away without a reservation. The atmosphere was casual and the servers seemed nice. Overall, it was a good lunch meal.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Hand pulled noodles chewy and delicious. Would have like a little bit more noodles in my bowl could have honestly just eat those and little bit of sauce. The flavors from the beef and sauce spicy delicious. Limited seating indoors but it is decorated nice.. service was good. We went during the day it was relaxed and quiet inside not sure if evening it changes. Maybe more of a to go place at different times.
google avatar

Yelp
The sichuan honey wings were immaculate! Not spicy at all but the most perfect crisp. The noodles also were really good but I would opt for a different protein than chicken. Also ordered the watermelon cocktail and it was super refreshing and easy to drink. The staff here were super sweet and attentive for how busy they were. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Yelp
Came at like 12 on Thursday -- right after we came in, it filled up with people who came to eat during their lunch break and others We ordered 2 orders of the sichuan honey wings, 1 of the green onion pancakes, and 1 of the mala spicy beef dry mix noodles. We added one more noodle since it was a party of 4 and the original dish comes with 3 long noodles. Green onion pancakes were pretty standard -- it was also good dipped in the sauce of the wings. My sister and I came here 4 years ago and tried the wings so we honestly came back because we wanted our parents to try them too! They were just as good as we remembered -- crispy, fried like chicken I can only find in Korea, despite being covered in sauce. The mala noodles were good as well, we got them in medium. Service was good, food came out quickly (the noodles came out first), but it was kind of slow when the restaurant got busier (which is to be expected)
google avatar

Elaine H.

Yelp
Got curry chicken dry noodles, popcorn chicken, and pork and chive wontons. The noodles and wontons were great but felt like the popcorn chicken needed more flavor. Overall the vibes were great and food came out in a timely manner.

Yelp
This place ALWAYS delivers! Food, service, and clean atmosphere never wavers. I love this place. It should be rated as a 5 star restaurant without question. Keep coming back because this consistency you is hard to find.

Yelp
Staff were attentive and friendly. We were seated right away for a weeknight dinner for 2 and got drinks and appetizers ordered right away. After drinks came out, we ordered a main noodle dish. It was huge, so we shared the main dish and two appetizers which was plenty. The pork ribs were AMAZING, soft & tender, fall off the bone. The hand pulled noodles were ginormous and delicious. The broth and veggies in the dish were also excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant. If you like spicy food, there are plenty of spicy noodle options!!
google avatar

Lee W.

Yelp
Wasn't feeling great so I got some spicy soup & wings delivered. Food was delivered in a timely matter and was delicious Wings were good but the show stopper was the Mala Spicy Beef Soup Noodles The beef and hand pulled noodles were the star within the dish. That being said, the spicy broth was good and what I wanted tonight. If you are nervous about spice I'd recommend the mild and ask for extra spice on the side. The medium was pretty spicy in my opinion

Yelp
I really wanna like this place because I'm a huge fan of biang biang noodles and noodles in general. But I really can't! I feel like the noodle texture is just not QQ enough. Flavor profile of both the dry and the soup dishes is...odd. I don't like the bell peppers. I think they detract from the dish. I think the sauces are like overall too sweet. I think that the portion sizes are too small for the price! I know Seattle is an expensive place - but at the same time...I'm unimpressed. Maybe I've been spoiled or just have strong opinions based on similar types of dishes and other metros? I'm just not a fan. Ambience and service wise - it's a nice place. Servers have been normally attentive and helpful. For what it's worth, the dishes come out very quickly.
google avatar

Dan P.

Yelp
Mala beef dry noodles - strong numbing Mala flavor, meat is super tender and slid off the bone easily. Noodles are chewy yet soft, they might be wide but are super easy to split in half with chopsticks. Served in a huge bowl but portion perfect for 1, could share btw 2. Soup version is just more comforting, perfect for a rainy day. Staff friendly and service super quick. There's a row of paid street parking on the side of shop.
google avatar

Marti L.

Yelp
We got here a little after 5pm and were able to get a table right away. Not soon after, the place was packed. We were excited for these hand pulled thick noodles and ordered one dry and one soup noodles. The cumin lamb dry mix noodles was so flavorful. My fave! The pork rib soup noodles was comforting. We left the restaurant full and happy!
google avatar

Sorn Anusorn M.

Yelp
This is my second time at this place on the third visit to Seattle. The quality of food is consistent. The price is reasonable. The waiter is very friendly and polite. The food comes out quickly. We all order beef noodle dry mix special. The portion is quite large for one person so if you are not super hungry or eat a lot, sharing is a good idea. The vibe is good. Plenty of space and it was not crowded when we were there.
google avatar

Yelp
Highkey would eat here everyday if i could! Incredible flavors, lively atmosphere, and prompt service - Definitely one of my new Seattle food obsessions :) Their hand-pulled noodles are wide, flat, and wonderfully chewy! The Stewed Pork Belly Dry Mix has melt-in-your-mouth tender meat with superb seasoning - a total crowd pleaser. The Mala Spicy Beef Noodle Soup has an amazing broth that's lightly numbing. Don't skip out on the appetizers! Loved the Sichuan Honey Wings - Juicy, umami chicken with a crunchy exterior, covered in a sweet and savory glaze! House Chili Tofu comes as crispy fried cubes with a soft center, yummy. Maybe skip the Fried Chicken Bao & Xi'an Popcorn Chicken - They're okay and paled in comparison to the rest of the meal. Highly recommend adding Biang Biang to your Seattle bucket list!

Yelp
For some reason Seattle nearly killed me with allergies. Day 1 & 2 were spent with a raging sinus migraine - something I'm not quite used to. The fact I can breathe better in Bakersfield really says something. After a really lazy morning we made our way to Capitol Hill for a quick lunch. We needed something spicy - to get the sinuses cleared! - and came across Biang Biang on Yelp. We arrive during lunch and found this corner location relatively easily. Although where you would park I have no clue. Inside, we were helped right away and seated. As soon as we sat down we noticed a flurry of activity with takeout and delivery orders. We could tell this place does a good amount of business! My partner and I perused the menu and opted to share a variety of their signature dishes. We started with cocktails and I opted for the special cocktail celebrating Cherry Blossom season, the Cherry Blossom Baijiu Highball. Maybe I'm not a fan of Cherry Blossom essence but something in the drink reminded me of wet rag, it kept throwing me off. I would definitely try it again because it could have been just an off drink. We ordered their Top 1-4 dishes which included: - Mala Spicy Beef + Pork Ribs Dry mix: The STAR of our meal and the real reason you should be coming to Biang Biang. With THICK hand-pulled noodles and a savory & spicy broth. Complete with a large helping of porb ribs, veggies and half a soft-boiled egg. 5/5 - Sichuan Honey Wings: These were almost forgotten! We did have to remind the waitress, but so glad we did! These were perfectly crispy. I can't even explain it! But it is by far one of my favorite wings I've ever had. 5/5 - Green Onion Pancakes: Don't skip these inexpensive tasty treats. it just completes the meal and is fantastic as soaking up the excess broth from your noodle dish. 5/5 - Chive & Pork Dumpling: 12 of these was a little too much for us, but we still managed to finish them off. Perfectly steamed with tasting filling. While these were great, they didn't compare to the amazing other dishes we ordered. A potential skip for me next time. 4/5 Mid-way through our meal my sinuses started coming back to life. This was obviously just what I needed! So glad we came to Biang Biang and highly recommend for a quick, casual dining experience!

Yelp
Went up north for the day, we ended up coming here for some carbs. Thick, plump noodles with amazing broth and veggies. Theres a reason why this place has so many reviews, good ones at that. The meat was plentiful and the broth was refreshing. A bit spicy for me but cleared up my sickness. Great music and very kind staff.
google avatar

Jennifer W.

Yelp
The ambience of this restaurant is lively with upbeat music. There are red lanterns hanging and a beautiful large mural against the wall. The service was quick and water was filled promptly. Mala Spicy Beef Dry Mix Noodles: The handmade noodles were the perfect amount of chewiness. The beef was thinly cut and a little on the dry end. Mala flavor was strong and a good amount of spiciness. Would 100% come back for the noodles and trying the other dishes.

Yelp
We visited Biang Biang Noodles three times in a row while in Seattle -- yes, it's that good. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming Jane, who works the front. She made sure we were seated right away every time, even during peak hours, and somehow made us feel like regulars from day one. Upstairs at the Paper Fan Cocktail Bar, Mini is a cocktail artist. Every drink we tried was incredibly balanced, unique, and clearly made with care. She gave us the best recommendations and you can tell she truly takes pride in her craft. Her assistant Sita was equally sweet and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The whole bar team made the experience feel personal and elevated. Alex, who worked the floor, was outstanding. He checked on us just the right amount -- always making sure we were taken care of without being intrusive. You could tell he genuinely cared about our experience. As for the food? Unbelievable. Their most popular dish, the Mala Spicy Beef Dry Mix, had the perfect level of heat and numbing spice with meat cooked perfectly with a broth so flavorful it melted in your mouth. The Sichuan Honey Wings were crispy, sticky, and so addictive. Get some scallion pancakes for broth dipping! We honestly couldn't stay away -- Biang Biang and Paper Fan Cocktail Bar became our comfort spot during the trip. The staff, the flavors, the vibe -- everything about it is dialed in. Do yourself a favor and don't just go once. You'll want to come back before you leave town!

Yelp
Food is so good!!! The noodles have the perfect chewiness and I love the vegetables they added, it suits the dish and sauce flavoring so well. Service was great, employees were nice and very efficient. The store is lively and packed on a Saturday night. The big plates for the noodles are also really fun and the store is well decorated!

Yelp
I am a sucker for hand pulled noodles and this place does not disappoint! We got into Seattle later Sunday evening and needed a place to get dinner on short notice. They have a waitlist you can join on yelp or in person and we got a table for 2 in about 15 minutes around 740 on Sunday night. It's a relatively small location so I imagine the wait can get long during popular hours. We started with the Green Onion Pancake with the curry dipping sauce. Super delicate and delicious and the curry dipping sauce was divine. We got the Mala Spicy Beef and Pork Ribs Dry Mix as well as the Curry lamb! I got mild and my wife got the medium spicy. The noodles are incredible! They are chewy and decadent and delicious. The mild still had a good amount of sichuan peppercorn flavoring which was awesome. Overall, a great spot to have some hand pulled noodles. Highly, highly recommend!

Yelp
Noodles were so good, fat noodles like this are my favorite kind so when I saw this place I knew I had to go here. The service was quick, I got my food super fast. It's also in a good location, nice walk after your done.

Yelp
We really like their soup and think their noodles are amazing! We wish the cumin lamb was more cumin-y and less soupy, even though we got the dry noodles (still wet overall). Maybe it's a different style from other places I've been to. I recommend the soup over "dry" noodles. Long lines at time, but you can walk around the neighborhood while waiting.

Yelp
Biang Biang Noodles is a culinary treasure for lovers of bold, authentic flavors. I ordered the Mala Spicy Beef Soup and my partner ordered the Pork Ribs Soup. The hand-pulled noodles are nothing short of extraordinary! Every bite is enhanced by the balanced kick of chili oil and the freshness of accompanying vegetables, making this dish both hearty and satisfying. I also loved how the windows were opened to let in the fresh outdoor air. The restaurant is on the smaller side, and filled up very quickly. Servers were very attentive. Definitely worth the wait! If unable to wait, I would recommend take-away and choosing one of Seattle's many parks to picnic! :) For anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience with authentic Chinese flair, Biang Biang Noodles are an absolute must-try. A true delight for the taste buds!

Yelp
Great place! Make sure to put your reservations in during dinner time. It was a 30 min wait for us. Once seated, it goes by really fast. The noodles were ON POINT. They were nicely chewy and had great flavors. The only disappointing part of the noodle dishes is that there's way too many cabbage/veggies. Literally it's a big bowl with 3 big noodles and lots of cabbage. The veggie dumplings were also amazing. They were nicely sized and the sauce wasn't too spicy or too bland. Just perfect for me. The servers were great although the host who took us in could do a better job at communicating. It was confusing because she didn't tell us to follow her or what's happening. She was in her own train of thoughts.

Yelp
This place is super tasty. I love the thick noodles. The lamb is not off-tasting as other places. The spices are good and numbing. Certain people might not like that flavor. The service is good. No complaints. We waited like 20 minutes for a seat for a group of 5. Nothing crazy. The inside is super cool to look at. It's located in Cap Hill so no free parking. Only street. Not too bad, but I struggle with parking lol. The prices are a little higher what I'm used to paying, but I think it's worth it if you like this kind of food.

Yelp
I keep hearing good things about this restaurant so I was pretty excited to try Biang Biang when I was in the area! We got the fried chicken bun, pork rib soup, curry chicken dry mix, and the hong kong milk tea. The fried chicken bun came out first and I wasn't sure what I was expecting but it definitely was not a golden bun with chicken inside drizzled with a honey mustard of sorts. A very interesting combo! The chicken was nice and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, pairing well with the golden toasted bao. The honey mustard was a little out of place but I think still fared decently well with the rest of the dish. Since there were two of us, I thought it was nice of the server to cut it in half. 8/10. We go mild spicy for both the pork rib soup and the curry chicken dry mix. The portion size was insane and the seasoning was spot on. I love the rich broth and they definitely did not skimp on the meat because it was like a giant chunk! The curry in the dry mix has a slight tinge of sweetness that I would assume would cut through the spice if we had increased the spice level. The noodles were plump and cooked perfectly. It didn't even get soggy in the sauce or soup. 9/10 for both. I think the highlight of this meal was the hong kong milk tea. The tea and milk was well balanced and it was not too sweet! Would get again! 10/10 Overall really cute vibes! Seems like they decorated for lunar new year. It was pretty busy but the food came out quickly. I would say it's a little pricey but with the portion size and the taste, I would think it's worth it.

Yelp
We arrived around 8:50 PM on a Friday and found a long line. It took about 20 minutes before a table became available for us. The staff was friendly and patient while we decided what to order, and they graciously waited for us to finish eating, even though we stayed past their closing time of 9:30 PM. The restaurant was nicely decorated, though not very spacious. I especially enjoyed their recommended dish: Mala Spicy Beef Dry Mix with Pork Ribs.

Yelp
Biang Biang Noodles in Seattle was delicious. The service was fast, the vegan options were solid, and the Drunken Thai Iced Tea was hands down the best I have ever had. That drink was everything, perfectly balanced, creamy, and unforgettable.

Yelp
Get the wings! They are elite Asian wings. We got the lamb noodles and they were amazing. Can't go wrong here. The drinks looked tasty and decently priced. Would go back for sure!! The decor is so fitting!

Yelp
We went here for lunch today and it was honestly a bit of a mixed bag. The MaLa Spicy Beef Dry Noodles are exquisite. I cannot recommend this dish enough. I've have variations of biang biang noodles across the US and China and this definitely ranks in my top 3. I got the "extra spicy" and it was genuinely fire. Next time I'll probably stick to the medium. Unlike many other places that make this dish, it's not overly greasy here and also comes loaded with crisp and flavorful veggies and a generous portion of meat. Pro Tip: Ask for some black vinegar and add a little of it to the dish. It's traditional and really elevates the flavor of the dish. We also got the veggie dumplings were themselves were not bad, but nothing to write home about either. The curry sauce they upsell on the other hand is completely rubbish, don't bother getting it. It has no depth of flavor and feels like some generic store bough curry powder mixed in with mayo. The chili oil, black vinegar and sesame dipping sauce that comes by default with the dumplings is 10X better. And lastly, the Fried Chicken Bao. This was so very disappointing and honestly ruined what was otherwise a really good meal for us. While the bao, the chicken and the honey mustard sauce all taste nice, the chicken was so insanely dry and stringy and was positioned in the bao with the grain instead of against which made it so hard to eat and took forever to chew. I don't know if we just got a really overcooked piece of chicken of this is normal, because the dish does have potential had that been tender and juicy, but a hard pass on this one based on what we ate today. Overall the service is friendly, attentive, and quick, the restaurant is very clean and tidy, the food is made fresh to order, and while the noodle bowls are definitely worth the price, the fried chicken bao absolutely doesn't feel worth it for the portion size and quality. I'd strongly recommend going here for just the noodles and skipping all the other distractions on the menu.

Yelp
I am a sucker for hand-pulled noodles! They have a good variety of dry mixes and soups and a couple of vegan options. We grabbed a quick late lunch today and ordered the curry chicken dry mix and spicy pork rib soup. Both of them were so delicious and packed with flavor! The chicken was well seasoned, and the pork was so tender - it easily fell off the bone. Both were decent portions for the price as well. Overall, the service was fast, and the dishes both came out within five minutes of us ordering. The decor is cute as well! It was very vibrant and felt very lively. The place isn't too large though, so it may be a little harder to accommodate larger groups during peak times. Will definitely be back to try the other options!
