Not worth your money. In all truth: (1) the food is mediocre, but (2) great setting for small groups specially in the summer when the outdoor seating is available. The wannabe German bits are much less satisfactory then any expectation.

Excellent choice for German cuisine, in Central Harlem. Loved the sauerkraut (warm and buttery). All beer were authentic and high quality. Smiling servers, willing and knowledgeable. Not expensive, also. Definitely, coming back.

Great place with a decent selection of beers on tap and solid food options.

Great spot to grab some German beer. Great bottle selections and the draft beers are available in several sizes, up to and including 'das boot'. Good food, the truffle fries are like crack. Cash only! ATM inside though. 4 to 3 STAR UPDATE: call before visiting, they have a tendency to close before posted hours depending on business level. Last two times I went they were closed more than an hour before listed close time.

Good selection of beer and has a variety of german sausages on the menu. The deco also screams hipster. HOWEVER, the service was absolutely horrific. Despite reminding them 4 times (yes 4), I waited over 1 hr for my food, which I eventually gave up and cancelled. They also failed to clear up broken glass on the table, which was outright dangerous. Better options out there, not coming back to this one.

Small biergarden that's quaint and friendly. The beer selection is pretty large, the waitstaff is knowledgeable about each beer, and the food is great (especially the catfish tacos). Communal tables, and it gets packed when it's nice out, so try to come a little early.

Best Beer Spot in Harlem. The food, drinks, and music are great! The owner, Chris is very welcoming and on-point manager making sure all guests well-attended to. Highly recommended, it's no doubt, one of the top spots in Uptown New York .

Came here today (on a beautiful and sunny Saturday afternoon).. it was pretty empty, the doors/windows were all open... the breeze felt wonderful. The place was airy, the vibe was nice..African tunes played in the background. The brunch menu is $13 and up which comes with a drink (Bellini, Mimosa, Beer, Soda, Juice) and nice options for meals. I believe they all come with salads and for that price, you can't beat it. I had the crab cake Benedict which came with the salad, bread and I ordered a side of truffle fries. I wasn't crazy about the fries but they were pretty basic fries.. not much flavor to it so be sure to ask for the chipotle mayo... The service was pretty darn good.. everyone was friendly. I'd go back!
