The Best Break-Up Spots In Philly This Summer - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Eventually, they'll have to pick a new place to live. Why not start by scanning the neighborhoods atop one of Philly’s burgundy tour buses? The tour guide's microphone will probably drown out the embarrassing bits and at least you would’ve taken one last trip together. Since there’s a 100% chance that you’ll stop at Reading Terminal Market, comforting dishes like roast pork sandwiches, stuffed pretzels, and creamy clam chowder await their sorrow. Plus, there’s always an old guy out front singing love songs, if they need to publicly sob and let it out." - candis mclean

App doesn’t not track Philly tour bus. Tour guides are great but busses do NOT pass every 10-20 minutes as they say, it passes every 45 minutes. I have taken big busses in the past with no issues, but not in Philly. Take another type of tour bus.

The views were stunning. Perfect option for a limited visit in Philly. Buses were clean, staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Stops were well placed.

SCAM ALERT - DO NOT RIDE! Absolutely horrible experience. We bought tickets for the weekend. Arrived at 10:57 at Independence Hall and the trolley - not a double decker like all the photos show - had already left! The website said the busess ran every 30 min, but after we purchased the tickets, we were informed they ran every HOUR. How can you hop on/off if you have to wait an hour? Especially when the times at each stop are just estimates. We didn't have time to wait an hour for the next bus, so we took an Uber to our next destination. Since we had already purchased tickets, we thought we'd catch the trolley on the way back. We consulted the approximate map/time chart they gave us as well as looked at the website. Waited another hour *past the listed time the bus should have arrived* AND NO BUS! We even saw one of their trolley passing on the other side of the street thinking that all it had to do was loop back around at our stop BUT IT NEVER CAME. We waited and waited and waited. Eventually, we gave up and took another Uber. Complete and utter waste of time and money. Really ruined our day, especially with two kids in tow who were so excited to ride a double decker bus. Unless you plan on doing a full loop and manage to catch the bus at Independence Hall, there's absolutely no way I'd ride this bus. Felt totally scammed.

Save your money and use public transportation/attraction tours. After tickets were purchased, we learned that the routes would be ending two hours earlier than advertised. We were also told the buses come every 20-30 minutes, but wait times were exceeding longer than that. If you haven't bought a ticket, save your money. If you have, take the tour start to end and skip the hop on/hop off as you'll be standing around far too long.

Your driver almost hit me this morning and now I will be contacting my lawyer then when I said why didn’t you stop he said ‘I didn’t hit you did I?” I got you with this hit of a lawsuit

Visited Philadelphia with my wife and looked forward to the open top bus ride. It started great but traffic due to the labor day concert soon made the travel really bad. But they did the best the could. The guide talked constantly but had good info. He made the statement several times that the provide a bus at 5:30 from the 1st stop to the end so there are no stranded riders. We got off and later got back on to ride to Chinatown for dinner. We got back at the designated bus stop at 5:16 at sure enough the bus came by the stop at 5:40. But as we waved for him the light turned green and he never stopped. My wife, who had a foot disability, had to walk several blocks back to our car. I called and the guy said yes that was the last bus and while he was sorry there was nothing he could do. I sent an email but never got a reply. My thought is use at your own risk.

My wife and I enjoyed our ride. The tour was relaxing and educational. The driver Linda was sweet and had spectacular driving skills with the narrow roads. I will definitely recommend this tour to others.

Great tour today! Maggie was fabulous. We thought we knew our history, but she sure did school us today. Very knowledgeable and knew her facts. Made the entire ride so interesting, we made sure to wait and catch her as our guide after a stop. Well worth the wait, as she filled the ride with so much interesting information. So much better than the "jokers" we have had on previous tours with other companies. Thank you Maggie!
