The Best Spots to Eat at Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) | Eater Chicago

"A Lettuce Entertain You fried-chicken concept serving crispy chicken sandwiches, chicken strips with dipping sauces and Nashville-style hot chicken for spice fans; its other regular-location is at Navy Pier." - Jeffy Mai

Where To Eat At Midway Airport - Chicago - The Infatuation

"Located in Concourse B, near Gate B7 There’s no McDonald’s in Midway, so Big City Chicken is your main option for the universally mandated travel meal of chicken nuggets. You can get the fried chicken in tender or sandwich form, but either way, the chicken is a little dry so make sure to get some extra sauce. If you go the sandwich route, it has a smooshed bun and comes with surprisingly crispy seasoned waffle fries—like eating a slightly better middle school lunch. And if it got you through fifth-period math back then, it can get you through a six-hour delay now." - veda kilaru

The chicken was fresh, juicy, and flavorful with the buffalo sauce. It was a great value for the money, my four strip meal with fries was only $15. It was busy but they got everything out in a decent amount of time. Order ahead for pickup if you have the opportunity. I would definitely recommend it if you have time to make a run to the B gate area at Midway, they don’t have many options but this is a good one!

Chicken was bland and mediocre at best. This place is a real canes wanna be with extra rude customer service. I stood in line at the cashiers for nobody to really even give me the time of day until I asked and they told me to go wait at the kiosk since I was using a credit card. Then it took forever to get the meal. When I got it, I had ordered chicken tenders and waffle fries, a Nashville, hot chicken sandwich and a grilled chicken sandwich. All of which really had no flavor and didn't look anywhere close to what the pictures on the menu looked like. I love fried chicken, I love fried chicken tenders and fried chicken sandwiches. Popeyes chicken sandwiches totally blow these things away and for $15 for a sandwich with some fries, it's totally not worth it. I understand that they were busy, but that doesn't mean you have to be rude at the same time when you're talking to customers. Unfortunately disappointing

Big City Chicken at Midway Airport was a great stop! The waffle fries were crispy and delicious, the chicken tenders were flavorful, and the service was impressively fast. Perfect for a quick and tasty bite before a flight!

Chicken was fast, fresh and 🥵🔥. Seems very popular if you're in the Windy City. Make sure to order extra ranch... The lemonade is refreshing after the heat leaves your mouth 😁. No place to sit... But I'm at the airport. Enjoy

Google
Big City Chicken just didn't live up to the hype. The chicken wasn't as flavorful or impressive as I expected-not anywhere near Chick-fil-A or Raising Cane's in terms of quality or taste. The waffle fries were also disappointing-not fresh, no salt, and overall pretty bland. That said, the service was fast and the ordering process was quick and easy, which is the main reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1. Overall, not a place I'd go out of my way for.

Google
Ordered the 4 “spicy” chicken strips with waffle fries and the big city mayonnaise sauce. The waffle fries was actually good, the chicken was freshly fries but was dry on the inside. The difference between “spicy” and not spicy seems to be just them sprinkling some chili/paprika powder on top. Overall it was not bad, but the store was very crowded!

Food was fresh and hot. Fries were very good! Idk why the ratings are so low, it's fast food at an airport - not sure what people expect. I got a meal and bottle of water for $22 and my food was hot, fresh, and ready fast.

Google
Spicy Chicken not crispy. Flavorless. Soggy bun that smelled. Disgraceful food for a food city to be honest.
