Big Deal Speakeasy Casino Events

Thank you to Wendy, Rebecca and all of the dealers and staff at Big Deal Casino! We had my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah at the “casino”. We were looking for a party that would keep the adults and the tweens entertained. Big Deal delivered. Everyone had fun the dealers made sure everyone knew how to play and was having fun. Lamont the DJ/MC/hype-man kept the party on schedule, built enthusiasm and made sure fun was had by all! Nina the photographer took great pictures so we can remember the fun in the future. Everyone had a great time and my daughter felt special. It was a 5 star party!

It's been a month since we had our corporate event at the casino and people are still coming up to me with big smiles wanting to talk about it. Let me try to paint a nice picture from start to finish. First, I did a google search for "fun things to do in NYC". Big Deal Casino was on the list. Having done "casino nights" at various hotel venues before for work, this place instantly drew me to it especially since the pictures on their website really did look like a speakeasy from the 1920's. I wanted to know more so I called them, left a message, and Wendy instantly got back to me same day. We had a great conversation and Wendy took me through the process explaining how everything works. Wendy was very professional and was able to give me a good range of pricing based on what I was looking for. It didn't take long for her to get back to me (think it was next day) and the contracting process was one of the easiest negotiations I've had at work. After we got the contract out of the way, I spoke with Rebecca who took me through some more details particularly what casino games we like to play, what kind of prizes will we give out since it's important to point out that this IS NOT a real gambling casino. This is strictly for fun events where you provide the winnings if you want to have your group win something after playing poker, roulette, black jack, etc. Othewise, you are just playing for the fun of it, but recommend bringing prizes for your group to win as an incentive. Fast forward to the day of the event, I got there about a half hour early just so that no one from my work would see the prizes. I also helped Wendy greet people as they came in which was really fun. I'm not going to give it away, but I like the build up that happens before you even get into the casino. And it was true, once you're in the casino, you feel like you were transported to a real speakeasy from the 1920's. The staff are all dressed up and interacting with my co-workers making them feel comfortable, teaching them how to play, and just laughing having a fun time with them. Also, the bartender was great, made some really good mixed drinks including my old fashioned. You and your group don't have to dress up. We all went there straight from work. This was one of the best corporate events I've ever had and others agreed. The atmosphere was fun and lively. Both Wendy and Rebecca really know how to through an awesome party and am looking forward to the invite when they eventually expand their casino. Book your next event as soon as possible as you will not regret it!

My husband and I hosted a birthday party of 50 people there and it was easily the best birthday party we have ever had. Wendy and her team bring the venue to life in an elevated, professional, and extremely fun and exciting way. We received so many compliments and multiple people are planning to book their birthdays there as well. The service is impeccable and seamless and everyone is brought together through the joy of table games. Have also hosted corporate events here and highly recommend for teambuilding and bonding. A perfect one-of-a-kind place!

This event was perfect and exactly what we were looking for! The staff is incredibly professional and hand on to ensure a smooth event. Wendy, Amanda, and Keila, along with the rest of the staff were a pleasure to work with from start to finish - extremely accommodating and communicative through the entire process. The sushi add on was a MUST - definitely recommend doing it for your event!! Everything was seamless and we did not need to worry about anything. I loved learning how to play the games as well, all of the dealers were very helpful in teaching and also making it a blast for all involved. I could not recommend Big Deal Speakeasy Casino highly enough - truly one of the most memorable nights and events to date!

Your generous donation of a poker lesson / party brought in the highest bid of the year! The kids had a great time at the lesson, and put their new skills to use with a poker tournament. They loved the pizza and mocktails, but it was the enthusiasm of your staff (especially the dealer) that made this a unique party. That was commented on by several parents. my company had a team building event here, and it was a blast! incredible atmosphere, service was phenomenal. the dealers were so knowledgeable and engaging- shout out Ronnie! it wasn’t like a real casino- it was better!!! a really unique, exciting experience. everyone on the team has been talking about it since our event. fun for casino-goers and non-casino-goers alike!!! thank you big deal!!!!!!! we will be back!
