This Idyllic Mountain May Just Be New York's Best-kept Ski Secret

"Big Slide Brewery & Public House in Lake Placid serves a variety of house beers on tap, including sours, pale ales, IPAs, and stouts. The hybrid 3.5/5 barrel brewery is a unique centerpiece of the bar, offering beer flights for patrons to sample." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Everywhere to Eat and Drink in the Adirondacks - Eater NY

"One of the North Country’s premiere breweries now operates a family-friendly taphouse on the outskirts of Lake Placid. Brick oven personal pizzas and sandwiches are always on offer, and recent dinner entrees include dishes such as the Chop It Like Its Hot (a tomahawk pork chop with cornbread, braised fennel, and an ale redeye gravy) and fried chicken and grits (a fried chicken breast with creamy cheddar and pork belly grits, pickled apples, and maple chicken jus). The perennial favorite Pretzel Bites appetizer features locally baked pretzel bites served warm with a beer cheese sauce or maple mustard. Wash it all down with one of Big Slide’s many brews." - Matthew Lardie

Outstanding beers...and remarkably awesome food options! And dog friendly with a very social outdoor patio. Luv this place. It is a confirmed stop every visit to Lake Placid.

Google
5.16.25 we loved our drinks and the vibe here, but we just didn't luck out with our dinner. Maybe it was just our bad luck that our wings were undercooked (not fried enough), and the pizza was extra greasy. But that happens sometimes. This place was busy, and it seems like the locals love it too. There's indoor and outdoor dining and a bar, so if you're not into beer, you have many other options.

Google
I came here twice this week and thoroughly enjoyed both visits. The place is open, industrious, and does a great job highlighting their kitchen and brewery. Our waiter Caleb was super attentive, accommodating, and did well getting around to each table he was serving. We ordered a beer flight, house salad, pizza, and Snapper entree. Beer was phenomenal and the food delicious, especially the Snapper. I loved that they provided information about their local suppliers right on the menu. I don’t mind paying a premium knowing all of the ingredients are locally sourced and that they have an actual Chef running the kitchen.

Google
To be completely honest LPB was not our first choice that evening. We are so glad our plans changed!!! Always a favorite of ours in Lake Placid the brewery came through with flying colors!!! The food was delicious!! Beer.. Amazing as always!! Service was perfect!!! Never change!!!

Google
I had doubts about goat cheese on pizza when I ordered, but they were quieted by an amazing lunch that you'd never expect in the high peaks. Riley, my server, was attentive, knowledgeable, and expedient. What a great experience! Thank you very much, I will be back!

Google
I would put this place in the top 5 restaurants in the Lake Placid area. Our server was a little miserable but the food and atmosphere more than made up for it. Our spicy pepperoni pizza was amazing, but the star of the show was the poutine. Their craft beers were tasty, and the laid back sports bar atmosphere was on track. Highly recommend.

Google
This place is incredible!!! So much space, employees are hustling hard to serve you all with a smile on their face!! I came here with a party of 6, we were sat immediately. Our server Iz was very personable and accommodating. Our flights of beer were delicious and our food not only had a lovely presentation, but was incredible! Will absolutely be back!!

Google
The atmosphere is your typical brewery with outdoor seating, there is also a pizza oven behind the bar which is a nice touch. The food is amazing, the fries are pretty much perfect, as is the chicken sandwich, and their GF pizza is very good, which was surprising. The service was also very good, overall I would recommend, just for entrees it’s about $20 a person.

Yelp
We visit Lake Placid twice a year and always go to Big Slide. It's one of my favorites! Keep the jalapeño beer year round!!

Yelp
Great atmosphere, great service, great beer, great food. We sat at the bar and planned to wait for a table, we changed our mind after we met our bartender, she was so nice and funny and super on top of everything! Actually the two bartenders that night were an amazing team. Order the pretzel bites! ... this is advice I never thought I'd give to anyone, pretzel bites are what you order when you're more interested in the cheese dip....but these aren't just ANY pretzel bites, they are the best ones you'll ever eat! Crunchy, salty, and ever so slightly sweet on the outside, soft on the inside and the beer cheese was delicious. There were a few dishes on the menu that I was interested in but the one I finally settled on was the chicken and grits. Seems like someone's twist on chicken and waffles a-la shrimp and grits... and it was absolutely delicious! The chorizo grits were just a little spicy, the chicken was crunchy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside and the sauce and apple chunks made each bite a delightful combination. The hubby and I were both happen with our beers, the Hefeweizen here was (to me) better than the one over at Lake Placid Brewing. This was the best night of our trip to the Lake Placid area -- definitely recommend going here!

Yelp
A somewhat hilariously bad restaurant. The Big Slide into Disappointment. The beer would be better if they let Anheuser Busch cater. You'd think after hiking 13 miles any food would taste good. Certainly a lukewarm hard boiled egg or a handful of almonds tastes great after a hike. But what the Big Slide puts on a plate? Disgusting. And the food tastes like something your drunken cousin would cook up after assuring you they can make anything those pretentious "chefs" think. The cheese plate has perhaps 5 grams of grocery store cheese. I personally cooked a better vegetarian stir fry at 4am in my college dorm room by pouring peanut butter on my ramen noodles. There is truly nothing good to say about this restaurant except that it is open on Tuesdays while most of Lake Placid's restaurants are closed. In researching Lake Placid restaurants on this very site, someone noted a different place as being "Yet another example of the confusingly terrible Lake Placid restaurant scene". I guarantee that The Big Slide Into Heartburn is worse than that restaurant that I read that review on because if it was worse, the Health Department would have to step in. It should be no surprise that the front staff has a grumpy attitude being tasked with providing their customers with food poisoning on a nightly basis. I can hardly blame them. But whoever puts the menu together, and whoever hires the prison chefs, needs to find something else to do with their lives. Go clean up the parks or something. Stop hurting people with this terrible restaurant.

Yelp
Finally went for the Friday oyster night tonight after wanting to go since at least early last summer, since I *love* oysters! The entire place was chaos-- no parking-- only one tight bar seat and one sad seat near the hostess available. Seemed very understaffed. Hostess explained the busyness was due to the holiday, which I hadn't thought of beforehand... not sure how the busyness level compares to other weekends. Was told the CPA was aggressive in towing, so waited 20 minutes for a woman putzing around with her dog in the car to go nowhere, before finally getting permission over the phone from the CPA who turned out to be really nice and allowed me to use her small lot at that hour. Once inside with a seat, ordered my 12 oysters and a marg. The bar seemed limited also. They couldn't make a margarita with blue curaçao, and told me themselves they were limited. Oysters tonight available were "blue point" ones, and were also the most bland/ tasteless ones I think I've ever had. I don't put that up to being the restaurant's fault, but I usually expect oysters to have some saltiness, which I did not taste at all. Everyone's palate is different, so again can't really fault them, but I was very disappointed in them. Looked over the rest of the menu and saw maybe two or three items I might try, but wasn't there for that. Otherwise menu also seemed a bit boring. Hope to go again someday, for some hopefully more flavorful oysters, since this seems to be the only place to get them up here. Overall, 3/5.

Yelp
We were in town for hockey tournament and our team decided to stop here one afternoon for lunch. The staff was accommodating and was able to get us seated in an area all together. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Very nice place. My husband and I shared a pizza and had some beverages. I had the cider definitely recommend it and my husband had a blueberry beer which was good also. Lots of items to choose from. Definitely give it a try.

Yelp
Which visit should I review the first second or third? OK I'll start with the first we didn't plan to eat so we just had drinks the beer was fantastic and also I had a margarita. On the second visit we decided to eat and we shared a peach Caprese salad along with YOU NEVER SAU-SAGE A PIZZA. Everything was delicious and quick. So we decided to come back one last time because the food was so delicious. We created a tapas menu with 2 appetizers. We had AHI TUNA CRUDO and ELOTE FRITTERS. Take note the wine comes out of a can but that guarantees freshness.

Yelp
Lively place with excellent food and beer in a casual setting. Way more interesting menu than you'd expect at a brewpub. They have great vegetarian options, including creative salads, tasty poutine, and interesting entrees. Haven't tried the pizza yet but will have to come back!

Yelp
Cool brewery vibes. Great staff friendly and inviting. Top notch service. Food was on point. Brunch is also fantastic here as well. Great local spot. The new addition of River trail is awesome too.

Yelp
This place was packed on a chilly Saturday afternoon! There was a 30 minute wait for a table but we grabbed 2 seats at the bar and ordered a late lunch. The steak sandwich comes with wither soup, salad, or fries. I got salad but asked for no additional toppings due to allergies. There was some confusion as it came out with tomatoes, cucumbers, radish, and pumpkin seeds.. The bartender was extremely apologetic and the issue was fixed quickly. The sandwich was nice and juicy and I loved the horseradish sauce. It was very much like a French Dip sandwich in terms of flavor. Mom got a pizza which she enjoyed. The use fresh and local ingredients and you can taste it in the food. There were a few other options on the menu that I was considering so I'll be back to try something else.... Or maybe go for brunch which (based on the reviews) seems like it will be tasty! Update-- we went back for brunch the following weekend! It was delicious! My mom did need to have her eggs remade as she ordered over hard but they came out over easy. Luckily, it wasn't too crowded so it didn't take long. My eggs Benedict were great- the Bearnaise was nice and acidic! We both loved the tater tot spin on hash browns. The cinnamon roll was a perfect treat to share. The orange glaze made it feel a bit more like a holiday breakfast item and made it even more delicious. The overall brunch menu had a great selection and I'd recommend eating here over somewhere downtown!

Yelp
I've always wanted to visit Lake Placid so hubby and I ended up driving up during our stay in somewhat nearby Wells, NY. After we walked around a bit, we figured we should probably get dinner before the drive back. Hubby saw Big Slide on Yelp so we headed over. Immediately, it felt like one of those memorable breweries. The interior was trendy yet welcoming. The menu was off the charts unmatched for a brewery. We started with the bread & cheese plate. It was a nice assortment of homemade breads and local cheeses topped with a variety of excellent ingredients such as orange fig spread and local honey. I was blown away by how creative and delicious this appetizer was. I paired this with 3 small pours of their brews - perfection! We each ordered a burger for dinner. I chose the chicken soup for my side and he went with the fries. The burgers were simply delish! Cooked perfectly, freshly baked bun, thick pickles and an amazing patty. The chicken soup was warm and so yummy. The fries were phenomenal, crispy and nicely salted. I was pleasantly surprised by Big Slide and I would highly recommend it!

Yelp
Great brewery with fantastic sandwiches and burgers. Had a chicken sandwich that would buckle your knees. Wait staff was super nice. Overall great spot if your in Lake Placid

Yelp
Was here once for dinner during the pandemic and it was good so we came back for brunch this time before heading back home this trip. We came around 11am and was seated immediately with a choice of indoors or outdoors. It was busy but service was on point. I love how we can pay with the barcode on the receipt so it made checkout very easy. My partner ordered the biscuits and gravy with scrambled egg and the Cilantro Lime Gose while I had the Hangover Club with Lemon Meringue Mule. My partner enjoyed the gose so much he bought a crowler for home and the lemon meringue mule tasted like a real lemon meringue pie. The food was good and portions were huge! My partner finished his but couldn't eat more than that (he usually finishes off my food for me haha) and I took half of my club to go and ended up having it for dinner with a side of fries we bought at a drive through.

Yelp
The food was great but the atmosphere was awful. Unfortunately it was soo hot and loud, reminded me of that old college bar where you have to yell to talk to others at your table. It's an open kitchen and open brewery so all that noise on concrete floors and walls just bounces around. The AC wasn't pumping enough and the big fan turned slowly. The fried chicken sandwiches were really good. Everyone else's food looked good too. Just too hot to enjoy it.

Yelp
Excellent vegan pizza & ipa non alcoholic beer. Terrific service and a very nice atmosphere , the pretzel bites & French fries were also fabulous

Yelp
We arrived with a large group, so I always take that into account when reviewing. The server was nice, and surprisingly the food came out very quickly considering our group size (14). Everyone was pleased with their food and drinks. Some of the tickets were messed up, but I would definitely give it another go!

Yelp
Food is okay, service was a little slow, restaurant wasn't busy. Cute spot! Quick spot to get to in Lake placid
google avatar

Yelp
My husband and I sat on the patio which was pleasant. I think it could get very loud inside which is nice surprising due to the layout. Food was decent, not outstanding but nothing really to complain about. Service was good. We would go again.

Lia V.

Yelp
Thank you thank you thank you Big Slide for the fabulous vegan options. The pizza is amazing, and the noodle stir fry really good, too. The service was friendly, the atmosphere warm and convivial, and we had a great experience. Sometimes restaurants forget that if one person in a family or friend group has dietary restrictions, then the entire group has to go somewhere that can accommodate. This is a perfect place because there's something for everyone, including vegans

Linda V.

Yelp
We were looking for a nice restaurant with a few vegan options around Lake Placid. We took a chance on Big Slide because the menu listed some promising items. So glad we did, because the vegan pizza was very tasty, with crisp, chewy crust and a sweet/tangy topping, and another dish, a stir fry, was equally good. We were happy with the beers on tap as well. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and cheerful but not overly noisy. There were many small groups of people (families, groups of friends) dining both indoors and out. We appreciated the fires blazing from the pizza ovens because it was a slightly chilly September evening. Services was friendly.

Yelp
It's so popular there that you may have to wait a bit but it's worth it! Beer selection is good and the food is awesome!

Yelp
Modern brewery vibes, overall a very nice dinner. We shared a salad to start whose name I can't remember but had roasted carrots and sweet potatoes with goat cheese and candied pecans -- it was amazing. The burger was delicious as well, the bacon and onion jam that comes on it is so good! We went on Tuesday night and got the Taco Tuesday birria tacos and I can't quite say the same for them -- the meat was good but the birria was too thick and tomato-y and just didn't taste like proper birria. The beans that came with it were runny and not proper refried beans either. Wait staff was lovely and very kind and attentive. Beer was very good -- I was delighted to see more than one sour on tap and tried them both. Overall, will definitely consider returning during our short time here!!

Yelp
Been to LKP a few dozen times but finally made our first visit to Big Slide! The place was packed at 11:45 am on a Thursday but made our way to the bar where the service was exceptional. Started with a lemon meringue mule which was delish (not too sweet) and shared some pretzel bites even the small order was too much for 2 of us to finish but great flavor. Tried the caprese sandwich's which came with the choice of soup todays was tomato basil and both were homemade and delicious. My boyfriend had the Marco Bolo pizza with a venison bolognese and fresh mozzarella on a GF crust and said it was very flavorful. Great conversations with other patrons at the bar (Lake Placid is great for meeting others everyone is so friendly) and our bartender. So wish we had visited sooner but we will be back!!

Kathy H.

Yelp
Dinner outing while in the area. Absolutely delicious pizza and salad. Unique pairings in the salad- preserved lemon? So good. Same with the pizza's. I got one of their specialty cocktails-also very good. Beer choices are not my taste overall, but my husband got a crowler of one of the IPA's to take back with us. The place was busy on a Monday night- wait staff was pleasant, checked in about our meal, and readily available.

Yelp
Tucked into the heart of the Adirondacks under the towering heights of the Lake Placid Olympic Jumping facility, the Big Slide is huge on all fronts. Excellent food, brews and friendly service with fair prices, quality ingredients and large portion sizes. Good thing I live 2000 miles away in Texas, or I would be here all the time! Locally sourced and unpretentious food sets the casual dining tone perfectly with an open seating area right next to the glassed in brewery. Had the Marco Bolo fired pizza with venison, meatball slabs, and fresh mozzarella dollops. We also split the hefty "small" poutine, which is the best I've ever had. The fresh-cut fries are drenched in tangy brown peppercorn gravy with onions and a slight burgundy finish, perfectly melding with the delicious artisanal cheese curds scattered on top. Danger Warning! Pace yourself for hearty eating. As a brewer, I really appreciate the in-house brewing. I did a flight with the Hazy, NEPA, DIPA, Porter, and Barrel Aged UBU. All were very good, with the UBU and DIPA being outstanding!
google avatar

Alora N.

Yelp
Came here on a Monday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. My husband got a flight and for the most part liked the ones he tried. The price for a flight is very reasonable. We also ordered some apps and pizza. They do have some interesting menu options so if you aren't food adventurous I don't know if you'd like it here. The service was very good, everyone is very friendly and things came out very quick.
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
Off of Main St but worth the drive. I'll admit, I'm a sucker for breweries with good food and this place nails it. Now, first to the liquids - there's always a nice array of beers on tap from sours to Germans to IPAs - they might not be 4.8s on Untappd, but they get the job done. As for the food, the menu ALWAYS slaps! They used to have a flatbread pizza with pickled blueberries that was outstanding but still have awesome sandos, flatbreads, apps, and even a great brunch. Service has always been good and the patio feels great after a day on the peaks.

Mcconnell L.

Yelp
Great food and drinks here! We had the chicken and grits, steak sandwich and a burger. Everything tasted great!

Jenn B.

Yelp
We stop in over 4th July weekend. The food was amazing. The staff was friendly and gave us great recommendations. Big parking lot. Outside of town which was nice .

Al T.

Yelp
What the heck happened here? When they first opened all was great food wise. A few years later, still ok. Today, 9/15/24, no UBU on tap #1. Poutine came out ice cold. My soup would have tasted more like chicken soup if I was home with bouillon, and she said chicken and rice. I didn't see one piece of rice! My burger was ok, and my guest was semi ok with her steak sandwich. Waitress kept agreeing that things weren't as good as they used to be. When she asked if I wanted another beer, and I said no, she just walked away without asking if I would like something else. Again, what has gone wrong here? I ate at The pub and brewery 3 weeks ago, that was great, food and service!
google avatar

Yelp
Be prepared to wait if you go on a weekend. Wait was almost an hour. Lots of open tables, but seating seemed a bit slow. Was told they give a large grace period (15 minutes) once your table is ready which at times left a lot of open tables. Was able to grab a beer at the bar while waiting. The pumpkin sour was delish. Once we were seated food was very yummy. One thing that particularly bothered me was when someone bumped into our table one of the kids soda spilled (a Shirley temple in a bottle). The server came over and cleaned up the mess on the floor..... so she obviously saw the soda spilled, however did not offer a replacement.... I then called over the next worker I saw and explained my daughters soda had spilled she said she would tell our server. Our server eventually returned with a new soda. When we got the bill I saw that she charged us for the replacement. I'm sorry, but I am a general manager at a restaurant and would NEVER charge a parent for a replacement for their child of something that had spilled. We paid the bill and did not complain, but I feel this is bad customer service. Unfortunately would not come back to a restaurant that penny pinches over a bottle of soda that a child accidentally spilt.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I came here on a Sunday afternoon after hiking all morning. Nothing better than cold beer after a long, sweaty hike! Of the three breweries we visited during our time in Lake Placid, (Great Adirondack Brewing, Lake Placid Pub and Brewery, and Big Slide Brewery and Public House), this was by far our favorite. The place is just outside of town, big and clean and modern. The most important thing to note is that the beer was incredible. Ten beers on tap with great variety. We each tried flights, five to a flight, then had a pint each. The sour cherry ale, the smoked porter, and the barrel aged imperial juniper berry blonde ale were all real standouts. The place was jam packed; we were lucky to get a parking spot and a spot at the bar. For most of our time there, the crowd was two-three deep behind us. There were only two bartenders working the crowd, but they worked quickly and efficiently. We did have to wait about 20 minutes between finishing our flights and being asked if we would like another round, but I can't fault them. I know they were busy and doing their best. We didn't try any of the food or cocktails, so we can't speak to that, but overall we were very happy with our experience here!

Robert M.

Yelp
Wait time was good along with updates on seating app. Busy time so service was a bit delayed but really no issues. Food & beverages were better than expected and enjoyed by everyone. Will return soon!

Yelp
Really liked this place. The hamburger with velveeta cheese was unbelievably good. Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well. Dessert was meh. Service was great.

Yelp
I've been to Big Slide several times while visiting the area. Their adjacent to the Olympic ski jumps. Their driveway, parking and seating can be a challenge during busier times but we've not had much issue during the weekdays. We've come with some large groups (+8) and they've accomodated. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and you can smell the fresh hops and fermentation as soon as you arrive. It's a fairly modern industrial decor on the inside with a view of the kitchen activities for your entertainment. During better weather you can enjoy the outside seating setup and games. For those that like souvenirs they have some cool shirts and other gear. Their beer is great with a good variety to select from that varies by season. We typically do a flight but I settle in on the Foggy Goggles IPA. The wood fire pizzas are delicious. I've tried several and all were really good with that perfectly crisp crust. Surprisingly, I even loved the vegan korean chicken pizza. I've had some other bar fair and it's all been hit. I wish I had pictures to post but while visiting we've had too much fun to stop and photograph.
google avatar

Yelp
Have made this a regular stop while staying in the area, always a great list of tasty beers. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us outside to enjoy the great weather. The waitress stopped by our table almost immediately and helped us choose our beers. On this occasion I did a flight of ALL the beers, and not one of them was disappointing. We then placed an order of poutine and the Send-A-Roni pizza. Food came out in a timely manner and we're both delicious. Would probably order these again. I would highly recommend this location!!
google avatar

Andrea R.

Yelp
We enjoyed a laid back meal with our kids among other families after skiing. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the ambiance of the fireplace and the wood fired pizza oven from the open kitchen.

Yelp
The Big Slide is a restaurant to make sure you visit while in Lake Placid. Delicious food, great beer selection, atmosphere is very casual- be sure to sit on the back area in the Adirondack chairs and enjoy your drinks. Staff is awesome!

Yelp
Excellent chicken sandwich here - moist, flavorful, and perfect size. I tried some bites of my friends' food and beers, and they were also fantastic. I see why this spot is so well-renowned.

Yelp
First of all, great service 5/5 and great beers 5/5 !I ordered a flight with wheat beer, sour, excelsior pale ale, IPA and DIPA, they are very decent, the sour is the top one. But the food, was terrible, everything is far too salty to a level you can taste anything but salt. Not sure if they try to kill people with salt or something. I ordered vegan pizza, the pizza dough is below average, I can make better one at home. It is so salty, beer can't even wash it off. I also ordered the tofu-au-vin, the tofu was spoiled, not edible. They changed to a salad for me, but is also so salty. The two sandwich we ordered were ordinary as a bar food, nothing outstanding. So food is 0/5. The Chef doesn't know how to cook.

Yelp
Great beer selection! Food was very good. Ambiance and vibes here were great. Enjoyed stopping in here, highly recommend

Yelp
Ahhh... so the story is, I had dinner at an amazing place called Top of the Park in the center of Lake Placid. I met a couple there - Gwen and Kevin. They proceeded to tell me that Top of the Park is the best restaurant in town (backed up by the amazing bartender at Big Slide) and that Big Slide is number two! First of all, service always trumps the food and I gotta say that Rachel the bartender was on point! It might seem a little crazy to say that it's hard to get a good martini anywhere. Yea, not everyone knows how to keep it simple. Rachel killed it with a local Vodka (no Vermouth), good olives and no random ice crystals messing with the smoothness. Let's start with the appetizer. Pickled Shishito peppers! Sounds great! But I have to add my personal preference. I will say I'm not a big fan of savory and sweet. Whomever came up with this appetizer needs serious props for creativity. Apparently many patrons here love this dish but for me it was not my thing. Next up was the Spanish Salad. I'd give it 9.5 out of ten. So crispy and with local farm stuff, just awesome! My only criticism is they said it came with Tostones. It didn't. It came with plantain chips. Not the same thing and I posted the difference. Next - the burger. I was hesitant with the Velveeta... but OMG. An amazing burger... seriously. Local farm beef too! The seasoned waffle fries were awesome too! Oh... and by the way, everyone seemed nice that worked here but Rachel made it next level.

Yelp
Food & Service were excellent! Our server was knowledgeable, energetic, and funny. Veal Chop was huge & delicious, appetizers were delicious and portion size was perfect for a group of teenaged hockey players. Highly recommended Big Slide.

Yelp

Yelp
Excellent brewery and food menu! Great to have local ingredients and actual vegan options that are not fries and a salad! Very delish tofu dish and pizza!

We randomly stopped in for dinner while in Lake Placid. Next time, it won't be random! A bartender, Racheal was amazing in suggesting drinks, appetizer and dinner choices. She was super attentive to us and many others at the bar. We truly enjoyed the Three Needs Appetizer. The holy trinity of beer, bread and cheese hit the spot. The atmosphere was quirky, clean, open and fun! The snow globes were a fun little reminder of days past. Parking was easy and we left with all the boxes checked for a great night! Thanks again for Rachael for all of the wonderful suggestions and for making us feel so welcomed.

Yelp
Pumpkin beer was nice too the taste buds. Oysters were a delight. I enjoyed the Greek squad pizza. It has all the Greek flavors. The sandwich is a great portion with lots and lots of chips. You'll be happy and full.

Yelp
I mean, who doesn't love a good brewery? But what a surprise with some really unique food! My husband and I made a reservation in yelp with waitlist so we had no wait at all. The hostess and all the staff we encountered really seemed to be enjoying their job and getting along. My husband and I shared a plate of oysters and pretzel bites. The oysters were fresh and the mignonette, yumm. I could've drank it all. The pretzel bites were pretty standard but warm and crunchy outside, soft inside. The cheese sauce was a standout which surprises me because I looked forward to the maple mustard it came with and wasn't blown away by it. Honestly, initially nothing on the menu called out to me so I ordered the "Getting All Jacked Up" which is the BBQ jackfruit sandwich with knuckle dusted fries. (We did ask what knuckle dusted meant and our waiter explained but I forgot by now, oops. But they were yummy!!) Wow, I've never had jackfruit before and after I tried a bit, I spent 10 minutes googling it at the restaurant because I'm now obsessed! My husband have the rib-eye Bahn mi and was also so impressed and cleaned his plate. Will definitely go back for that jackfruit sandwich if I'm nearby again!
