Bigalora Wood Fired Cucina

We recently visited Bigalora Wood Fired Cucina and had a good experience. We tried the Mediterranean and Pesto Genovese pizzas, the ricotta-stuffed shells pasta, and the focaccia. All of the dishes were delicious. The service was also good, making for an overall great dining experience.

This place menu is quite diverse in salads and pizza. I have tried it several times and the food is ok in general. Anything I tried never wowed me but it was delicious enough to go back. Bur I live the many seating options both in summer and winter. Really spacious and nice atmosphere, good for big groups. One problem is they don’t split checks. They say they take multiple payments but it becomes way to complicated and we always end up paying each our companies.

Solid place for wood fired pizza. Food here is on the pricey side. The pizza is delicious and there are pasta and salad options so it’s a good option for a “nicer” dinner for a birthday, for example. We appreciated the quick service and food delivery. The place wasn’t too busy when we came, but I imagine sitting under the glass enclosure would be a mood killer if it was crowded, as the sound echos and it can get loud quickly. Overall, would recommend and will be back.

Ordered 2 pizzas, their special of the day soup(kale sausage and potatoes). Also the tiramisu. The mortadella pizza hands down is my new obsession. The pistachio pesto is the perfect pairing! Extra done with red pepper flakes easily made this the best pizza I've had. The funghi pizza was meh. I added caramelized onion and zucchini to mine. It's missing something and I'm just not sure what. I had ordered red sauce on the side but sadly got food to go and it wasn't included. The soup was not great. Very bland. Definitely not worth the price. Also container was half empty... Tiramisu was solid and a decent sized piece. I'm very happy with it. Very fresh tasting. Strong coffee flavor that was extremely pleasantly balanced with the cream.

We visited Bigalora to celebrate our anniversary. The 3 season outdoor seating was pretty good and warm for the winter. Good presentation with the food, atmosphere, and service. Our server was great and very attentive as we are vegetarians. We ordered the Crispy Brussels sprouts and Wood roasted sweet potato from appetizers. Brussels were good but the glaze on sweet potato was not tasting great. The veggie pizza was pretty good except it was a bit oily and did not have the crisp crust one would hope for from a wood fired pizza oven. For the dessert, we ordered Salted caramel parfait and was ok. Overall great atmosphere and good food.

The restaurant is beautiful. Nice space outside to enjoy watching the park during your time there. Pizzas are delicious. The rest of their Italian foods need more taste.

This place is just all around great. We had the ancient grains salad, the prosciutto di parma pizza, and the Brussels sprouts appetizer. The salad was great, healthy and fibrous and filling, with a flavorful light dressing. The pizza toppings weren't as integrated into the pizza as I personally would prefer but they were quality ingredients and the dough was DELICIOUS. The Brussels didn't look the most appetizing but they were honestly the best I've ever had in a restaurant.

pizza is incredible. also gelato is house made and a must!! we came in while our power was out and they let us charge our phones and a lamp at the host stand. so glad we came in and we will definitely be back.
