Great service, amazing outdoor vibes with tons of seating under the trees, and good, fresh food (loved the breakfast bagel in particular). Only two complaints: 1. They ask you to pay $5 for parking on the weekends, which is fine but unexpected. 2. Their matcha was pre-made with whole milk, so if you can’t have whole milk, no matcha for you. Will be back here again for a nice, relaxing breakfast. Just get my matcha ahead of time.

Such a beautiful coffee spot!! Lots of outdoor and indoor seating, there was live music, and nice area to walk around outside

From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was special. The family dog came to greet us at our car - belly open, looking for scratches. Walking onto the property, we felt a sense of peace and ease amongst the giant shaded trees and buzzing garden. A jazz trio played softly in the background, adding another level of ambiance and vibe. The breakfast menu was perfect. Something for everybody. Fresh coffee, bagel sandwiches, smoothies, pancakes, sweets, and more. The staff was friendly and our food came out quickly. It was the best meal I’ve had on my long road trip so far. Everyone here was relaxed, nobody in a rush - how refreshing in a world where everyone’s racing to get to the next place. After breakfast we walked the garden which was full of fresh produce, a flourishing field of flowers, and insects getting their fill of pollination. If you’re in the ABQ area and you have a free morning, I HIGHLY recommend spending a few hours here and enjoying the finer things in life.

Google
This is my favorite place in all of Albuquerque. Seriously! I have been going here, always on bike or foot, since it was just a trailer. I am dumbfounded by the people complaining that they charge $5 to park. Look at the name! It is called “bike in coffee” not “drive your big dumb SUV in coffee”! Go back to McDonald’s, they don’t charge for parking there! This place would be actual heaven on earth if it weren’t for all the clueless people driving their giant SUVs across the walkway to the parking lot and contaminating and endangering my small children on the weekends! Sorry, rant over. Bike in coffee is just the best. Food always great. Live music and farm environment are delightful. Great to be around so many cyclists of all ages.

What a cool spot! Such a unique experience riding a bike, sitting outdoor in that pretty garden listening to live jazz music and eating a nice meal!

What a great find and an amazing idea! Trails, vibes, food, music. Thank you for creating this space. We will be back for sure!

As Hubby and I were driving around Old Town area, we happened to stumble in this spectacular oasis. It is quite a historical gem. Restaurant with delightful menu meal and dessert choices. Lively entertainment. It has a beautiful ambience. On the premises is an 80 year old barn that has been turned into a venue for events. GORGEOUS AND UNIQUE PLACE. You will not be disappointed 🥰

Yelp
We are still exploring breakfast places in town and recently saw Bike In Coffee on instagram. At just a few minutes from Old Town, Bike In Coffee is a little magical oasis. This place has a lot of space for parking cars and bikes. We were also gladly surprised at the amount of shaded space dedicated for seating all over the farm. With the addition of a small vendor market, a dog adoption booth, and a jazz band, the experience was quite relaxing. Even though the line to order was long, the service is efficient without sacrificing friendliness. Being our first time here, we had some questions and they were nicely answered and requests were accommodated. From ordering to getting our food, 5 minutes passed; just the blink of an eye. Now for the food: we ordered the chilaquiles with egg and added chorizo, the green chile bagel sandwich with bacon, a berry green smoothie, and cafe de holla. The chilaquiles had a good amount of crunchy tortilla chips with a nice red salsa on top. The egg was perfectly over medium. The chorizo was perfect in texture and delicious in flavor. The cream and pickled red onions gave it a nice contrast from the spicy tones. The bagel was great with plenty of protein with the egg and spicy green chile. Because it didn't have enough bacon, we requested more and they gave us a goooooood bunch of bacon that was crunchy and delicious. The cafe fe holla was rich and toasty. The berry green smoothie was fruity and with a refreshing alfalfa flavor. Overall, this place offered a very nice and relaxing experience with delicious food options. We will return, especially when outside friends come visit .

Yelp
I hate that I am leaving a negative review about a local business, but there were too many negatives to ignore on our visit today. To start, they charge $5 for car parking. I understand that they are hoping to encourage people to cycle instead of drive, but it seemed a bit much to pay to buy food at their establishment. Next, the line was Looooong and moved at a glacial pace. While chatting with others in line, the wait time seemed to be pretty typical for weekends. Waiting over an hour in the sun to place an order is too long yall. It's time to open a second window to take orders quicker. The food was truly sad. :( We ordered an oatmeal cookie (flavorless), the Green Chile bagel sandwich (which wasn't really a bagel? It was a roll and it was super greasy.), a lemonade (so watered down it was basically lightly flavored water), veggie and fish tacos (both of which needed seasoning and were cold, PLUS the veggies on the veggie taco were those pre mixed vegetables kits you buy at the grocery store that come frozen in the bulk section. So soggy, cold and not appetizing.) and an iced coffee which was fine but weak. The location is doing all the heavy lifting for this place, because it is truly stunning. Green trees everywhere and lots of outside space to sit. But with all these negatives, plus lots of up-charging on the menu, we won't be back. Sorry guys, Albuquerque knows good food, and this ain't it.

Yelp
Bike In Coffee is one of those spots that feels like a true Albuquerque treasure. The property is absolutely beautiful shaded by trees, surrounded by farmland, with live music and a relaxed, eclectic vibe that makes it feel like a little escape from the city. It's a great place to bring friends, family, or just enjoy some solo time outdoors. The casual, down-to-earth atmosphere makes it easy to settle in and stay a while. That said, the coffee and tea selection is nothing to write home about. It's perfectly fine, but not the main reason I'd come here. The real draw is the setting, the community feel, and the experience of enjoying it all on a peaceful New Mexico morning. Still, it's a spot I'll keep coming back to sometimes a beautiful setting and a quiet moment outside is exactly what you need.

Yelp
Been here a few times, traveling by bike. However, I went with my family this weekend, and got there in our car :) It's such a beautiful venue, full of trees, plenty of seating, and friendly vendors. For the restaurant itself, I would describe the food as gourmet and savory. The dishes were plated beautifully and the taste was delectable. The prices reflect this, but it was a great treat for a weekend breakfast with loved ones!

Yelp
Finally made it! It's been on my bucket list for a while. I'd say you go for the ambiance. The locations is really cool and I'm sure even better in the spring when things are green and blooming. It's great how close it is to the bike/walking bath! We went on a Sunday and the line was not too bad it started to get even busier after we got in line. It was around noon. Service was friendly and helpful. You order at the front window and walk around and wait for your name to be called out at the side window. I got a breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito was good. My husband got the avocado taco and the veggie tacos and they were not bad. I also got the Coffee de olio (not sure if I am sleeping that correctly..) I should have passed once I heard it was self serve.. but oh well. I'm more of a latte girl myself so it was just not my cup of coffee... all the coffee is self serve and they have an assortment of milk sugar etc to add. If you are a black coffee kinda drinker you will be just fine. If you are looking for fancy coffee this is not it. They do have an iced matcha that I wish I had tried instead. But again oh well. They do have several vegetarian options and could make a few vegan if they leave off the cheese. They do sell these delicious coffee smelling candles and we got a few, I can wait to burn them. Other things to note. There was live music, little venders set up, books, jewelry and adopt a pet. So again the location is really what you come for the space is beautiful with lots of trees and lights and fun little spots tucked away to sit and enjoy the weather. The food is wholesome and filling good but nothing supper awe dropping. Coffee is a no for me. So I would say set your expectations medium on the food and high on the ambiance and you won't be disappointed. I'd go back again, try some other menu items and try the matcha. I don't think they live up to the name bike and coffee though.. since their coffee is so limited but that's my personal opinion... lol

Yelp
A hidden gem in albuquerque. It's worth the bike ride. They have been expanding and have plenty of seating in shaded areas. On the weekends they have bands playing. Their menu rotates so the food was super fresh and delicious. They have a variety of yummy coffees, teas and sodas.

Yelp
This is my first time coming . for food i would give it a 3/5 stars but for overall thats why i gave the 4/5 stars . First off i understand the whole concept of this place is for bike riders to come after or pre to grub up and relax . with that being said non bike riders , to drive and come it's $5 to park which i didnt know about till i got there . once ordered the food everyone was very friendly and helpful as staffing goes . the apple crepe was well. . let's say i'm never ordering it again . it was a very cold crepe , not even luke warm. the apples were straight up just cut and placed in the crepe and not cooked or warm as well. along with the sauce which was there but didn't shine . over all the crepe was maybe a 3/10 , for those wanting simplistic its a good idea . but for those who have had crepes before and like a warm apple caramelized sauce , it would be a no for me . Now on the other hand . That taco was AMAZING ! 10/10 would definitely order again and multiple next time . This was my very first time coming so i didn't know what to expect but the flavor was amazing in the taco ! lots of meat and overall delicious . Along with the iced tea . i know it's just tea but it was sooo good ! and it's your basic unsweetened tea but it is indeed a great tea . the vibes amazing! location was nice secluded and very comfy ! lost of outdoor and basically only outdoor but with lots of shade and even an area with fans . Would def go back again!

Yelp
What don't I love about this place!!! That's not really a question but rather a proclamation! I would have snapped a photo of what I ate last weekend but I couldn't wait to dig into it. Next time. For the first time, I ordered and gobbled up the Fried Avocado taco. Yum! I also ordered the Caprese Salad. The sign says 'you pick your own tomatoes'. I took that to mean that I'd be on my hands and knees in their community garden, picking. That's not what happened. Someone got up early to sow the fresh tomatoes and placed them in a basket next to the ordering window. So, I was encouraged to 'pick' a large tomato from the basket. Cool idea. The pesto sauce surrounding the mozzarella and tomato was to die for. Chef David has raised the bar. The tree ladened garden is beautifully peaceful even while listening to live jazz. There is usually a line but small umbrellas are available to block the sun while waiting. Now, there is a $5.00 fee for parking and the sign states that it all goes to charity and that seniors are free. I was greeted by owner, Linda who was giving the regular gate keepers a break. She told me that they had raised about $10k that went to children to learn the violin, purchased right-sized instruments for young kids who found regular sized violins too large. They had some $ left over to have Mariachi clothes made for them as well. They don't talk community but live it! Yoga on certain mornings to help start the day. There's room for weddings. Special shout out to the kitchen staff and the owners, Linda and Lanny! A hidden paradise.

Yelp
I absolutely loved visiting this magical, delightful place! It's a farm and a restaurant tucked away. There is often live music. You just have to ego experience it first yourself because it's hard to describe!!

Yelp
Came here at the end of a 10 mile morning ride along the Paseo del Bosque with my teenage niece. We had read up on the coffeehouse beforehand and it was everything we expected and more! A delightful setting to enjoy food and drink, surrounded by the flowers and greenery. The coffeehouse is counter service with lots of seating all over the farm. We had tacos, a giant burrito, a cold summer soup (cucumber mango) that my niece still talks about a week after the fact, and an iced matcha latte. There is a water station in the main coffeehouse area. Lots of other cyclists lounging around on a Friday. As we were leaving a musician was starting to play in the garden area. A fun and unique experience.

Yelp
Bike In Coffee at Old Time Farm is the first bicycle -focused coffee hangout on a farm in Albuquerque. Under the trees, on the deck, or in a flower garden, one can relax, sip coffee, spoon delicious homemade soup, savor both sweet or savory crepes, plus other delicacies all while reading your favorite book, tossing horseshoes, or listening to live music.
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome spot! The space is large with a variety of different areas to convene. Bikers galore! My group was able to bring our bikes close to the table we were sitting at- so it was easy to watch them. The menu was very expansive with a variety of vegetarian options. They offer yoga on Friday & Saturday. The cherry on top was the BARBIE inspired Mac & cheese. Can't wait to return!
google avatar

Jimi H.

Yelp
Contrary to its namesake, neither bike nor coffee required to enjoy this place. A positive attitude and a form of payment might help though. Turns out people often forget to bring forms of payment to places where you buy things. Bizarre! Everything was great except a patron at a nearby table kept tapping their table like a nervous tick. Drove me crazy. Wanted to scream "Stop that!" but Jimi held his tongue. 5 stars

Danielle M.

Yelp
After a long bike ride this place was inviting, shady and the food was delicious! Probably one of the best tacos I've had in a long time! And the Red Posole was so damn good! The music also added a wonderfully inviting vibe like I just stepped into a relaxing haven.
google avatar

James G.

Yelp
The posole is fabulous as is the fruit crape. Coffee alone is worth peddle. Atmosphere is relaxing and they have winterized more space.

Brent M.

Yelp
Great dining spot, scenic, good good and outdoor atmosphere. You feel miles away from the city.

Charlene S.

Yelp
When I return to Albuquerque for at visit, I always include at least one stop at Bike in Coffee. Why? I love sitting outside under the ancient cottonwood trees enjoying to humidity free fresh air. The outdoor venue is located in the scenic bosque along the Rio Grande. It is a very special outing as I love listing to the live performances. My favorite band, is my friend, Chris Cordova's jazz band. I have enjoyed all the live performances I have seen Bike in Coffee. Now for the food! All I can say is it is absolutely delicious. I have never had anything but 5 star food. Just thinking about it as I write this review causes my mouth to water. The service is too-notch.
google avatar

Heidi A.

Yelp
A big group of us were walking by the rio grande this morning so after the walk, we decided to walk over to bike in coffee to have some brunch. I enjoyed walking into the area. It was like entering into a little farm town. I ordered green tea coconut latte and a tempura avocado taco. They were both very tasty. I liked how the green tea latte was creamy and smooth. The taco had good crunch to it and was very tasty as well!
google avatar

Santiago M.

Yelp
Amazing hidden spot for a great run/bike spot! Definitely recommend, easier to find than originally thought.
google avatar

Joshua L.

Yelp
Relaxing atmosphere with two live bands playing in different sections. Lots of shade and places to sit for a warm or hot afternoon. Only serves black coffee so don't expect more. But a good variety of food and other beverages. Pozole was yummy along with our carrot cake dessert. If we were from the area this would definitely be a fun breakfast brunch place to bike to. If they served beers.... I think they would add a ton to the foot traffic! Beautiful place.
google avatar

Melissa G.

Yelp
Unexpectedly magical here. Food is top notch, and the environment is perfect. That elote and fish taco were legit delicious.
google avatar

Monica F.

Yelp
After riding our bikes for 10 miles, we were ready for a break and how wonderful it was! Love this place! Food and atmosphere is phenomenal! They had live jazz playing too. The ambience is a slice of heaven. I had the blueberry crepes and they were delish!! It was a bit of a wait but worth it! It was just what we needed. Felt like I was in another town. Can't say enough great things about this place !ride or run there!
google avatar

Marie S.

Yelp
Doesn't look like much on the outside, but after riding down the dirt path it opens up to a barn, cafe, and grassy seating area to what looks like what once was an old farm. Accessible by bike or car, the cafe offers crepes, burritos, carrot cake, and tacos on Tuesdays. They also have socially-distanced yoga on Saturday mornings. I had been stuck between the avocado coconut smoothie ($6), but the girl at the register recommended the best-seller watermelon mint refresher ($3) and my friend tried the cold brew ($3), which he said could've been a little stronger for him. The seating area was shady, cleaned regularly, and had a gazebo. There was even a couple taking maternity pictures in this garden area. Overall, a nice hidden gem in the North Valley. 2020 #18

Yelp
Delicious food and beautiful location. Prices were reasonable and waitstaff was very polite and accommodating. Coffee was "eh".
google avatar

Jen W.

Yelp
This is a little bit of paradise. If you were dropped here while blindfolded, you would never know you were in ABQ. The food, coffee and desserts and delicious and very reasonably priced. There was live music, DOGS and art vendors. Plenty of shaded seating, bike parking and clean restrooms!
google avatar

Kelly S.

Yelp
What a great place! Bike In Coffee serves anyone, but caters to the bicyclist. It is an easy ride into this hidden gem from old town, Los Ranchos, or the Bosque Trail. As you can see from the menu board, they serve a number of items and everything we have tried has been outstanding. We recently won a curated meal for two and were so thrilled with the phenomenal, multi-course meal provided. The photos of the meal here represent the curated meal, not necessarily daily menu items. Chef David Reyes and Julia.Not.Child are excellent hosts and their flavor profiles in the food they prepared was absolutely on point. Add to all of this the ambiance, outdoor seating under cover on the patio or in various little gazebo areas or scattered throughout the property shaded by mature cottonwood trees and on many days, entertained by live musicians. You can drive in but parking is $5 on weekends to further encourage you to ride your bike. Bike In Coffee is worth your money and your time!! They also have clean restrooms!
google avatar

Tochka R.

Yelp
This place is one of a kind--a small restaurant located in a remote corner of West Old Town, with access off of the Bosque Trail (and Montoya Ave), inside Old Town Farm. Very nice rural ambiance in central Albuquerque. Food is good, with the crepes and red chile pork posole very tasty. Coffee is ok, but would be better with an espresso machine. Now open during winter Wednesday-Sunday 9 to 2.
google avatar

Eric R.

Yelp
What an excellent experience! I was happy that they serve their tacos in the morning, but I didn't expect anything special. But wow! Their Al Pastor taco is a big delicious mess that really pops! And their Carnitas taco is really good too - both a far cry from the skimpy street tacos that might be fine, but really need to be part of a set of three or four. I hadn't heard about the food before, so this was a beautiful surprise. What I'd heard before was mostly about the place and its atmosphere, and while all that was right, it didn't go far enough. It's a sprawling section of Old Town Farm with at least three places to gather: the main building with the coffee and food and a covered porch - that I'm sure I'll be back for (someone will want to stick around there if you order food - they have a pickup window). There's what I might call a back patio with tables interspersed with small beds for the farm. The main gathering place is across from the food and has a variety of tables, a water "feature" and often a band (today they had Chris Cordova Latin Jazz - and they were great). The crowd is family friendly and diverse. I was actually happy to see a few tech/developer folks around too - for reasons. A last mention or two: I found the parking for cars confusing (it's not the priority!) but there is some parking. It's very bike friendly. For a place with coffee in the name, the coffee is fine but not remarkable. They have options for tea and other beverages, but... I liked the little vendor spots - and that Room to Roam eBiking had a little corral. Overall a great experience - looking forward to trying more, different food next time!

Yelp
Are you as creeped out by COVID as I am? Still stuck sheltering while the neighbors scatter? Do you regularly bathe in hand sanitizer? And do you consider outdoor excursions the sole silver lining of this pandemic? If you're getting my drift, you need to drop into Bike In Coffee. The place was practically built for this moment. Accessible by car but meant for cyclists, Bike In Coffee offers an extensive farm-to-table menu underneath the shade of a Cottonwood grove, overlooking the farm that sources the goods. You'll place your order wearing your mask, get your food when they call your name, and retreat to an outdoor table to eat. Sound like an absolutely perfect recipe for VPS (Virus Paranoia Syndrome)? Yup yup. And this seems like an afterthought, but the food's good, to boot! When they launched this adventure, seven years ago, they generally specialized in healthy, bright soups, breads and quiche, and that's still the case, but they've added a wealth of heartier options, and plenty of specials. Great smoothies. GO. Credit only, no cash, open Thursday through Sunday, 8am - 2pm. Your bike-in access point is just east of Gabaldon road on the path next to I-40.
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
We used to frequent a lot but after today NO MORE. The establishment is NOT FAMILY (CHILD) friendly as we were told to keep our 2 kids near the table because they were being loud. Which btw we're not being loud as we asked the patrons seated next to us if they were being bothered. If you want to bring your kids, I recommend leaving them or just not visiting the establishment all together. Very disappointed it's such a beautiful location.

Yelp
Tacos were pretty good love the avocado tacos but the el pastor was way to sweet and unfortunately not the vibe. Patio is lovely with music. Staff was new so did not know a lot about the menu overall I think it was an okay experience pricing is a little high for the amount of food. Breakfast burrito was way to mushy and needed something to freshen it up.

Mereat A.

Yelp
Looooove this spot so so much ! It's really cute and outdoors with plenty of covered patio. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but I LOVED their vegetarian tacos, very delicious! Everyone was so sweet and made wonderful recommendations

Yelp
Went for a nice bikeride this afternoon and decided to ride to Bike in Coffee. The yogurt with fruit and granola provided a nutritious energy snack and topped it off with a nice sun tea. Although it was hot outside, the shade and cool breeze made this stop a joy to a bikeride on a Sunday afternoon! Nice couple of vendors and we missed the animal adoption event & music. Could be a little more clean around the Cafe.

Delaurentis 1.

Yelp
Love this place--unique concept, want to see it succeed but the food we ordered was horrible and a total rip-off. a small burger soooo dry, tasteless, no seasoning, a blue cheese burger with no blue cheese, a few tiny apple slices. Dry tasteless small and $12. Yup $12. Not even worth $2 no side! just a small tasteless dry burger for $12.

Bj G.

Yelp
Just couldnt put 4 stars for food - as it is most always superb. Best fish tacos iin town - and green chili breakfast bagel, and....I could go on. But slight disappointment in the onion soup today . Photo on Facebook (attached) drove me to try it but...today... the small piece of bread was not toasted so became soggy mush and the dollop of cheese (2nd photo) was almost insignificant . It was seasoned well, but for $12 , what was essentially boiled onions in broth was disappointing
google avatar

Terry X.

Yelp
Not a coffee shop! It is an outdoor Cafe that happens to have brewed coffee. It's super nice and outdoorsy, but not what you're expecting from a coffee shop. No espresso at all.
google avatar

Doron A.

Yelp
What a cool place! Tucked down a small private road, this place is an absolute hidden gem. We liked the food, especially the fish taco. I wasn't wild about the actual coffee I had, but this place still gets five stars because it is just so darn lovely.

Jim M.

Yelp
Been there many times now. The coffee is downright terrible. weak and usually not hot. There's only one cashier so ordering can be painful. oatmeal cookie $4!! Food looks good and reasonably priced but ....,
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
This place is awesome and a great peaceful experience! You don't HAVE to bike there but it's in the name right!? So my wife and I did and did not regret it! Nice farm style setting, horses, garden, the food was great and custom drinks they make there too!
google avatar

Anna W.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Live entertainment is hit or miss. Some groups are great and others aren't. Expect a long wait time for your food, 35 minutes for a party of 3 at our last visit. They also tend to run out of menu items a couple of hours before closing time. Overall, a must do if you are in the area.
google avatar

marie s.

Yelp
Wow, this place y'all! Love the atmosphere here, surrounded by beautiful huge shaded trees with small tables and chairs to sit and relax and listen to whomever is playing their acoustics that day. Ypu can drive here or even cooler, ride your bike to this working farm, what a great idea! Check online for when they are open. The food is pretty darn good as well. I had the lavender honey lemonade, delicious!
google avatar

Tiffany M.

Yelp
A little piece of paradise in the middle of ABQ literally off the beaten trail. My brother and I took our weekly 15mile bike ride to grab breakfast, but didn't know there would be a pop up market and live music! For a second there, all felt right in this Pandemic world! The agua fresca took me straight back to the beaches of Mexico too! The food was good but the portions were small for the price and all covid safe practices were enforced. Im definitely coming back and enjoying the amazing ambiance!
google avatar

Joseph H.

Yelp
Very nice coffee shop. I rode my bike (but you can park as well). The strawberry lavender chiller was very refreshing. It was nice to sit under the trees and listen to the live band. Overall a nice and cool to hangout.
google avatar

Jenny S.

Yelp
Can't speak for the coffee because we were stopped at entrance to pay $5 to park! Seriously we were there to buy coffee and breakfast and then you want to charge us to park! Sorry that is not consumer friendly. You lost our business.
google avatar

Valerie L.

Yelp
Biking onto the farm feels like an oasis in the Bosque...AND IT IS! Under the trees, sitting at least 20 feet from the next table, sipping on coffee, listening to live music, and eating the delicious menu selections that change daily, it's great motivation to get on my bicycle and ride down here! We'll be back tomorrow!!!
google avatar

Jennifer G.

Yelp
A great place to stop in while cycling! Such a wonderful ambiance and the food is terrific. Today I tried the avocado toast with bacon.
google avatar

Iain C.

Yelp
Was only visiting for the weekend but this became our favorite place. Such a beautiful location with amazing breakfast burritos!
google avatar

Yelp
Another beautiful day at Bike In Coffee! Cold brew was excellent. Watermelon salad is one of my favorites as well as the lemon Carmel crepe and chorizo crepe.

Brad B.

Yelp
First time at the bike in coffee and what a surprise. We bought fresh greens from the farm and the carnitas taco was the best I've ever had. Great, fun place.
