"Don’t limit yourself to the row of gorgeous pastries or fancy sparkling waters—Billie’s has some really good and substantial breakfast and lunch options. We’re talking about their salmon mezze bowl and the beet burger that’s been described by our vegetarian friends as “the best in the freaking world.” While it closes at 6pm, it’s a perfect place to meet for a casual coffee and a gluten-free, dairy-free pastry. Seriously, try the Blue Majik bar with blue spirulina or one of the candy bar imitations and see if you taste a difference." - ryan bernsten

One of the best gluten free places I’ve ever been! The location is very open and airy with a space for classes and lots of table. The food is both yummy AND gorgeous which, if you know gluten free, can be pretty difficult to achieve. They have TONS of variety for bakery treats and meals. I would recommend getting there early as they seemed pretty popular especially on the weekend. A must do stop for any gluten free people in KC!

This place is too cool for school. Super eclectic menu, amazing looking pastries, and a super cool vibe. Place is super busy but service moves fast. The one and only disappointment was my food wasn't exactly hot... especially for a skillet meal.. it was tepid at best. Still tastes good but the food temps kept this from being the best brunch I've had in KC

Check out the menu online before you go so you don’t have to take up time looking in line. Everything looks good so it’s hard to choose. You walk in and go order. They give you a number and then you’ll find a seat. They will bring the food to you. All the water and silverware are by the bar. Bakery items just wait to get until after your done eating. Unless there isn’t many left then grab it. Once it’s gone it is gone for the day. They rotate what times they have all the time so there’s always something new to try. Great gluten free options as well. Definitely will be back again and again. They also have some cooking classes you can take. Staff is knowledgeable of the menu and so helpful with helping you make a decision and feel welcome.

Amazing! Loved this place. Ordered the grilled caesar and soup of the day, which was a chili. Both were delicious. Shared a carrot cake and peanut butter chocolate chip cookie sandwich with my sister and both were amazing. Loved the carrot cake though.

Nice, clean and simple atmosphere. Gives a cafeteria feel but more upscale. I did enjoy my food very much. I got the carnitas breakfast buritto. I want to return to try another dish( the crab scramble). I actually found Billie's by accident as it's kinda hidden on the side of the building. But I'm always happy to try a new place! The sweet treats in the bakery case all looked delicious. The service was very good.

I loved grabbing brunch here with my friend! Definitely take a look at the menu before arriving but there’s tons of options! Delicious food, aesthetic atmosphere and don’t forget to grab a pastry or dessert item! Highly recommend. Parking is limited so I parked on the side.

Wow! As you enter the establishment it’s very impressive. It’s bright and airy with a lot of space and a very nice patio. Wait staff is all very pleasant and the dining room is pretty clean. My husband had the brekkie and said it was wonderful ( he’s had it on two separate occasions). I had the chicken and waffles and they were not good at all😟. The chicken was nice and hot but the breading was so hard and crunchy and completely void of flavor. The waffles were cold! The whipped butter didn’t melt at all. I’m not a coffee snob, but the coffee was sour? It may have been the cream but I didn’t try any more. My meal was disappointing. If I stop here again I’ll just stick with some pastry. The cookies were delicious.

Second time here and the service and food are fabulous. I had the Crab Scramble and Sanzo sparkling water. Nice that I'm in walking distance.
