Billy's Boudin & Cracklins - Scott

Best boudin balls on the planet. I drove over 3 hours just to make it back to Billy's. Everything I've tried from here is outstanding. The flavor never lacks.

Every month, I drive the 216 miles from Houston, Texas down I-10 to Scott, Louisiana to Billy's. Food as always is good and Excellent Customer Service. This month, I decided to have Billys for Thanksgiving Dinner. I ordered what I always order, a dozen of pepper jack balls, a dozen of pepper jack wraps, a dozen of links and this time, I added a dozen of shrimp 🍤 boudain balls. So far so smooth, except today it was super packed at 8 o'clock in the morning when its always empty the previous months I have visited for years. Plus, a Louisiana State Trooper accosted me on I-10 heading back to Texas. I wish yall would open up a location in Texas because my days of driving through Louisiana are limited now especially with those crowds and Louisiana State Troopers hounding me. Sorry. Excellent food and Customer Service though. 😎

Easy to get to, good selection, and very often the cracklins are very fresh and hot. Pork cracklins always cooked right and never too hard. Could be more spicy for the seasoned but that’s my personal taste. Chicken cracklins are good and meaty. Nice spot to grab gifts for folks not from around here.

Best seasoned cracklings, boudin and breakfast boudin pepper jack cheese roll ups around. The staff are so sweet and helpful. No matter how busy they are you never feel rushed. This Texas gal will always come to Billy's for boudin and cracklings.

My husband stopped at Billy’s to pick up some boudin. He ordered both the smoked boudin and Billy’s signature boudin. About 20 minutes into our drive back home, we opened the container of Billy’s boudin to, only to be hit with a sour, unpleasant smell. Unfortunately, it also tasted rotten. We were really disappointed, especially considering it costs nearly $9 per pound. It’s a shame, and we’ll definitely make sure to taste any future purchases before leaving the parking lot next time. The smoked B was great though.

Some kind of deliciousness. Ate the shrimp, crawfish and pepper jack cheese boudin balls and a bag of seasoned cracklings. Pepper jack was our favorite. All were yummy. Glad we don’t live here, we’d weigh 300lbs!
