My husband and I stopped in for lunch. Our waitress took our drink order and brought them quickly. Then, she took our food order. I ordered the Caesar Salad with Parmesan Chicken and my husband ordered the Rib Eye with 2 sides. After about 30 minutes, she returns and apologizes and tells my husband that she went back to the kitchen to check on our order and was told by the cook that they didn't have any steaks thawed out! WHY didn't the cook tell her immediately when she put in the order? My husband then placed an order for Plain chicken wings (bone-in). After about another 15 minutes, she returns and apologizes again and says that she was told they are out of wings. Again, WHY didn't they inform her when she turned in the order?? My husband then asked, what did they have? She said any burger or any of the wraps or sandwiches. So, he ordered the Chicken and Bacon and Ranch wrap with a side of fries. After another 15 to 20 minutes someone brought out both of our meals. He said that his wrap was very good; my chicken on my salad, however, was dry and pretty tough (I suspect it had set under the heat lamp the entire time while his order was being straightened out). After we finished eating, we waited for about 20 minutes and had to flag someone down to get the check. It was like all of the servers had gone on break and IF we did see one, they weren't looking in our direction. Our waitress brought the check again apologizing for the delay and said that she had to get a manager to remove the charge for the rib eye. We realize that it wasn't her fault for the problems with his orders, but clearly something needs to be done about the lack of communication between the kitchen staff and the wait staff.
