"Located directly on the Intercoastal, Billy’s has gorgeous views, fresh seafood, and an old-school vibe. Dine directly on the water, upstairs in the dining room, or dock your yacht (or dinghy) at the restaurant’s dock to enjoy fresh, local seafood options like Key West pink shrimp, lobster, and grouper. The main attraction, of course, is Billy’s stone crab (in season), The restaurant offers a unique all-you-can-eat stone crab or king crab experience, so you can gouge on crustaceans to your heart’s desire. Billy’s also has a seafood market on the first floor, so you can grab some claws to go on your way out." - Laine Doss

Not sure if they offer anything other than Valet but we did pull into the valet spot. There were also individuals who came on a boat and docked at the restaurant to eat. Immediately greeted by several individuals who were super friendly. We came here close to when they opened on a Sunday and were offered several options, inside, outdoor patio or the dock little cabanas which we opted for. We were shown the seafood options on a tray and the pricing. We chose to get the side of Brussel Sprouts and the Half Seafood Tower. The Brussel Sprouts were nice and crispy and had a delicious bacon flavor with a bit of spice. Seafood Tower was amazing and Jason M was absolutely amazing. There were a handful of individuals who waited on us but Jason was personable, friendly and top tier service. He went above and beyond. Stone crabs, crab legs and shrimp were exceptional and the oysters had a good flavor. I didnt love the crab meat and the lobster was a smidge overcooked but they replaced it with no issues. There were also individuals who came on a boat and docked at the restaurant to eat. Beautiful spot for a weekend afternoon, I definitely recommend and would come back!

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary last night and we had an amazing evening. Franco General Manager was professional attentive, very helpful, and a consummate professional from start to finish. Our server Giselle was equally attentive and provided great advice for our food choices. Everything we ordered was delicious. The next time we are in town, we will return.

We made a reservation in advance, and our table was ready by 8:30, just as expected. The food was delicious, featuring fresh seafood with plenty of options. I believe that anything you try here is good. There are two downsides to the place, but they won’t stop me from returning. First, it can get quite noisy when the restaurant is full, making it difficult to hear the person at your table. They could easily address this issue by installing acoustic panels to reduce the noise. My partner and I had to speak loudly to hear each other. Hence my 4 stars under "atmosphere" The second downside, which is unusual for an upscale establishment, is that at 10 p.m., the valet parking staff comes to your table to hand you your car keys as their shift ends. This felt a bit off. When the waiter welcomes you, he brings a large tray showcasing all the five-star options available and explains each dish and its price. It is a bit too "auction-like" for my taste, but ok 😎 Overall, the food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the view is fantastic if you're seated by the window. This restaurant is definitely on my list of places to return to! I 100% recommend it. We spent USD 170 (tip and tax included) for two people.

First and foremost – Our server BRANDON was one hell of an entertainer – simply the best server I have had in a long time. Dinner here was like seafood heaven to me – Boy I had a feast. From the seafood tower, to the lobster roll, to the blackened scallops – I can’t begin to express how much I enjoyed dinner here. I visited here with some family member and we had a blast. We were seated inside by the window – over looking the water! What a view! Yes you pay a pretty penny! BUT IT IS WORTH IT. This is definitely going to be my dinner stop in Hollywood Florida when I’m here!

We arrived at Billy’s Stone Crab a little early due to a time zone mix-up on my part, but the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. A gentleman greeted us warmly, let us choose our table, and even got us drinks before the restaurant officially opened—truly a great first impression. Once the restaurant opened and our server changed, the experience became a bit more uneven. Simone, our new waiter, wasn’t nearly as attentive. He passed our table several times without checking in, and my wife’s water glass sat empty for much of the meal. It was a noticeable difference compared to the warm welcome we received when we first arrived. That said, the stone crab itself was the clear highlight—fresh, flavorful, and everything we hoped it would be for our first time trying it. The calamari was also solid, but the conch soup felt underwhelming and lacked flavor. The dinner salad had several pieces of wilted or soggy lettuce, which didn’t quite live up to the rest of the meal. If we were just rating the crab and the first server’s hospitality, this would be a five-star review. We’d definitely come back for the stone crab, but hope for a more consistently attentive service next time.

We made the reservation at 6 pm. And got there right before the sun goes down. The restaurant has 2 floors. The first floor is a small bar, and there are a lot of seafood options you can choose. If you are seafood lovers, you definitely come to the right place. The server is very top-notch, and the food and drinks come out very fast. Also, the portion is very big, so we kinda ordered to share everything. The oysters are very fresh and also the food. The view and ambient are magnificent. Love the desserts. Kinda pricey, but it was worth it.

Food and service were excellent. We could not finish our food the portions were generous. Make a reservation you will get a better table. We loved sitting on the deck but the reserved tables have shade. We even enjoyed the 80s soul music playing outside.

Google
I made a reservation and asked for a table for 1 along the water and was told they had an opening at 5 or 9, so I took the 5:00. It was perfect and beautiful right on the intercoastal. I asked to open the shade slightly as the sun didn't bother me and I wanted the clear view. I ordered the combo platter which was $40. It came with oysters, shrimp, lobster tail and stone crab. Everything was very good except for the lobster tail. It was tiny, maybe 3 oz if that, and incredibly tough. It tasted like it had been cooked 3 times over. It was seriously nearly inedible. I really should have said something as the only reason I ate it was because I paid for it.... yikes. For this type of a restaurant I was surprised how awful it was. That aside, everything else was very nice. I also ordered a side of the hashbrowns as I had read a previous review how good they were. They were deliciously crispy!! Very yummy with the onions. I did feel slightly rushed and would have enjoyed taking my time enjoying the view, but I understand there were other reservations coming in I'm sure. It was a busy Friday night. The mustard sauce was great of course. Butter might have been nice for the tail. I spent $64 before the tip which was reasonable.

Yelp
Oh myyyyyy! The all you can eat Stone crab at a such a reasonable price for south Florida. Michael the manager so accommodating, even though they don't take reservations. The inside market bartenders gave us a good laugh while we waited for our beautiful table by the water. Server Rich...chefs kiss, a real gem. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Ericka G.

Yelp
I still can't get enough of this place. Service is still wonderful and stone crabs fresh and delicious. From the complimentary bread with key lime butter, to the creamed spinach, and to the ever so popular stone crabs with the mustard sauce. They crack it for you so you can just go to town on them. My rule is if there's crab on the table, no talking, just get to eating. The valet parking makes parking carefree. The elevator to the restaurant gets cozy but we're all here for the same purpose. Make sure to make reservations as it'll make your life easier and seating right away. It was a packed house so I was grateful I made reservations months in advance. We saw people wait over 30 minutes. But a packed house is a good house. Just in case you're not a seafood person there are plenty of meat options, along with pastas, and some chicken. But let's be real, you don't come here for the steak, it's the crabs!! Enjoy

Yelp
It's sad to see such a longtime favorite cave to the tourists. Billys has turned into your typical tourist hit and run model. 1. Lets lie about the size of the stone crabs since tourists have no idea. (Selling selects for large) 2. Sasha is the only bartender that can make a drink, even tough you request a drink from Sasha you end up with a water downed version of what you wanted because of either laziness on the wait staff or just incompetence. 3. When you are serving previously frozen crabs is locals can tell. Save the scam for tourists and NOT your repeat customers. 5 @ $500 for an two orders of select stone crabs ( that were ordered and sold as large ) no sides and two lousy drinks and 6 of the smallest oysters I have ever seen. I won't be back after 15 years of history, last visit was a nightmare with a lost reservation and meh food with the same issues. Thought we would give it one last chance and once again disappointed. Leave it for the dumb tourists to get ripped off.

Yelp
An absolute gem on the waterway in South Florida! Absolutely the freshest stone crab claws and knuckle seafood; great service with a waterfront view along the channel! Ordered the stone crab claws (literally so delicate and fresh)! They came with fresh melted butter and their house mustard sauce. I am not a huge fan of mustard, but the delicate mustard flavor combined with the other ingredients in the blend made it the perfect topping for the stone crab claws! Added a Caesar salad ($12) and the warm rolls with honey butter (complimentary with the meal) - and you will enter into taste bud heaven! Loved the service, so attentive and responsive. They even bring you a warm towel to your table at the end. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area! They also deliver overnight shipments of seafood! Check them out!! I am sure I will be ordering a shipment to my home.

Yelp
I've been to many places for stone crab and there's always something that turns me off from bad mustard sauce to improperly cracked claws but Billy's was excellent. We came early for dinner, around 4pm and there were a few people inside but plenty of space. We ordered large claws with creamed spinach and hash browns. Everything was delicious. Ordered a slice of key lime pie at the end which was great. Only downside is the ambiance and service aren't as excellent as the well known competitor on south beach. If that's too far a drive, this place is a close second.

Yelp
I want to take my team out for a nice lunch for the holiday season and one of my Yelp friends recommended this location. When we arrived, we were able to valet the vehicles. We decided to sit outside as there was lovely weather, and there was a great view of the intercoastal. we started with a bunch of different appetizers. The conch fritters were nice and fluffy. The oysters Rockefeller were tasty. And the stuffed mushroom were juicy. For the main, I decided to go with the grilled shrimp. We shared a bunch of sides with the brussels sprouts and the lobster mac & cheese being the two favorites. It was a lovely lunch. Service was amazing. Be prepared for a big ticket but it's well worth it.

Yelp
We kicked off our anniversary celebration at this restaurant, and it exceeded our expectations. I recommend making reservations via OpenTable for a smooth experience. After valet parking, we took the elevator up and were promptly attended to. Our waiter, Zarathustra, was outstanding and ensured we had a memorable evening. We started with the calamari and stone crabs, which were incredibly satisfying--so much so that we ended up sharing the Seafood Alfredo. For drinks, I enjoyed the Floor Old Fashioned while she loved the Strawberry SoFlo. The ambiance by the windows, with the sunset as our backdrop, was absolutely perfect. As well as our anniversary dessert! Thank you so much!! High recommend this place for any occasion.

Yelp
Billy's Stone Crab Restaurant is a waterfront establishment where you will enjoy views of the ocean while eating fresh seafood. I visited for a sponsored presentation, and I had a wonderful time! The portions were plentiful and delicious. I had 6 stone crab claws which were already chilled, cracked upon presentation and were so fresh. The side dishes (calamari, spinach and stuffed mushrooms) were to share for table, and were flavorful (especially the creamy spinach!) The staff was so pleasant and provided only the utmost attentive service possible. The only downside to my experience here is the parking. You have no choice but to valet park your car, and the parking lot is quite tiny - every inch of that lot is utilized to accommodate all the cars coming in.

Theresa C.

Yelp
I Always stop by Billy's when I'm in Florida and stone crabs are in season. Recently shared the seafood tower with 4 other people. A bit pricey plus sides etc but such a delicious feast!

Yelp
I was craving some Stone Crab and saw that this place did all you can eat. I took my family here for a nice brunch on Saturday. When we got there, we were lucky enough to get a glider table right by the water. They are cozy little booths that rock right next to the water. We started the meal off with a bowl of lobster bisque soup. It was a little more tomato based than I would like but still pretty good. For my entree I went with the All you can eat select stone crabs for $160. A little pricey but I feel I got my moneys worth. They definitely aren't shy about bringing you out more crab when you need it. My gf got the Honey Ginger Salmon which she enjoyed. My daughter got the chicken tenders off the kids menu. Service was super attentive and friendly throughout the meal. Overall we really enjoyed our meal. It is a bit pricey but we were prepared for that. Will be back next time I'm craving some Stone Crab.

Victoria L.

Yelp
What I love about Florida is that you could have a linen & crystal dinner and show up in beach ware, which is exactly what this place offers. You'll get the wining and dining you're looking for in celebration, but the attendance is all dressed pretty casually. The prices are fair and the stone crab is great! I would recommend getting the individual offerings other than the party platters/mixed fish offerings simply due to price per ounce, but to each their own.

Yelp
Intimate, Classy, Top Noch Service, Excellent seafood!!! I came to Billy's for a birthday dinner for a friend of mine. We were seated right on the dock overlooking the water. It was a quiet, charming, and beautiful scene. The swing tables were relaxing. It had curtains for added intimacy. We ordered the seafood tower, lump crab cake, ribeye steak, and seafood bouillabaisse. Everything was delicious. The bouillabaisse is a variety of seafood in a robust tomato based stew. The seafood tower is a variety of oysters, stone crab, king crab, shrimp, and lobster. Everything was fresh and tasty. I especially enjoyed the Canadian oysters, they were delectable! The crab cake was delicious. The ribeye steak was tender and savory. For desserts we enjoyed the Key lime pie which was creamy, sweet, and tangy. This place is amazing for an intimate date night, birthday or anniversary, or a simple lunch date. You wwill absolutely enjoy the food and service

Yelp
Oysters and stone crabs were super fresh and delicious! Filet mignon arrived perfectly. Hungarian slaws, mushroom w/ onions were very good. White sangrias were also a pleasant surprise - yummy with decent amount of fruits! Server was superb and knowledgeable.

Yelp
This was one of the best meals I had in Miami. We did not have a reservation on a Thursday night but we were seated on the patio in a semi-enclosed booth like table that provided netting if bugs were an issue. It also had space heaters, so this is still a great place to eat, even when the weather changes in the winter. The enclosed booths that you sit in, have the ability to slide slightly back-and-forth, giving you the feel that you are eating on a boat. The food was amazing. However, the best part of our meal was our server. Jason, from beginning to end, was truly part of this amazing experience and it would be negligent of me not to elaborate in detail on the experience that he provided for me and my friend on one of our last days in Miami! Jayson started off with a platter explaining all the different types of cuts of meat and fish that were available. He was able to speak knowledgeably about everything at one point I had ordered the crab and was nervous that the dip had mustard in it as I am highly allergic to mustard seed, and Jayson instantly jumped into action. it was comforting to know that he took the situation very seriously! Throughout the evening, there was a constant follow up of asking if we needed anything or if we had questions about the food that was brought out! When he talks to you while at the table, he's able to read the room perfectly! He knows what is too much talking and what is not enough talking to keep the guest entertained and engaged. This is no easy task and requires years in the customer service industry in order to be able to find this healthy balance , we truly enjoyed his company as we ate our meal. The owners of Stone crab need to see the gem they have in Jayson. Onto the food, which was nothing short of amazing! My stone crab claws were to die for! My broiled lobster tail was brought to the table as my main course served Oscar style! This is with a hollandaise sauce and lump crab meat on top, which was absolutely amazing! The lobster mac & cheese is extremely seasoned of tarragon and garlic to create an amazing combination that complements the lobster very well. My friends New York strip steak was cooked to perfection and was one of the best meals she had had on our trip. Even the french fries were amazing. When it was time to leave Jayson graciously wrapped food for us at the table, which I like! I like to see them wrap the food rather than bring it to the back where I don't know what is going on while wrapping my food ! At the end of the evening, we were waiting for our Jason came out and thanked us for coming and offered to have us feed the fish located inside of the restaurant to add to our amazing experience! Unfortunately, we had already ordered our Uber and it was on the way or we would've taken him up on the offer . Jayson, if you get to read this, I want you to know you gave us a truly amazing evening! When I travel to Miami again, I'm going to come and ask for you and hopefully I'll be lucky enough to hear that you are still there! If you ever decide to move to New Jersey ithere is a job waiting for you at my business ! Your customer service skills were truly amazing, and, I hope the owners of this restaurant read this review and understand the true gem that you really are!

Paul Z.

Yelp
My wife and I went to several higher end restaurants during our recent stay in the area . While most were a bit disappointing we were very happy with Billy's ! Attentive service , great food in a beautiful atmosphere. We both agreed this will be a regular go to for us on future visits. Very solid !

Tim H.

Yelp
I drove 9 hours and stayed in a hotel near the restaurant just to have my birthday meal there. They made my birthday meal the absolute best one I have ever had. Sebastian went above and beyond and everyone else treated us amazingly well. I was blown away by the service, the food, and the atmosphere. I am so grateful for everything Sebastian and everyone else did to make my birthday dinner so special. Thank you!

Daren R.

Yelp
Billy's Stone Crab on the Hollywood Intracoastal waterway is the place to go for delicious stone crabs with a nice bottle of wine. Attire is casual nice but some people are decked out... The staff are very friendly and try to approve requests for seating with a water view. Packed here on the weekends and its still busy weekdays but not as bad. Now, parking is very tight and you must valet or find parking across the street beach side in one of the pay parking lots or garage. I always go with the all-u-can-eat stone crabs dipped in the garlic sauce (i try to devour 30 or more) but now its super pricey, but so is food everywhere now.

Dan F.

Yelp
Wow, what a location! We were struck by the fact that the store is located right on the intercostal waterway in Hollywood. The main dining room is on the second floor and offers spectacular views of the water and passing boats. They also offer outdoor seating as well as seating at the bar. We arrived at 2:30pm which is a slow time and as such there were only 20+ patrons. We were promptly seated and welcomed by our waiter. He fully explained the menu and the specials. He was helpful in the ordering process and suggested what turned out to be the correct amount of food. We were there for the stone crabs and our waiter suggested two shareable sides (we chose creamed spinach and crispy hash browns) which was just the right amount. We decided to get five large stone crabs ($85each) rather than the all-you-can-eat option ($200 each) which would have been too much even for big eaters like me. For dessert we shared a key lime pie which, to my taste seemed either recently frozen or stale. Nonetheless it was quite tasty. By the way, I should have mentioned that the bread that was first served also appeared stale and the "highly recommended" key lime butter was not spectacular as other reviewers have suggested. As a comparative note to our many Joes Stone Crabs experiences, they have a variety of breads in the basket and they all are really delicious. Net net: yes we would go back but no it is not at the same level of Joes, thus the 4 star review.

Phyllis M.

Yelp
Wow! If you are on vacation in the Hollywood area you MUST put this on your list for an amazing dining experience. This is a high end beautiful restaurant with amazing view atmosphere and OUTSTANDING food! We ordered the crab platter to share, it came with 2 colossal crab legs, and 8 stone crab claws. Price 310.00. I HIGHLY recommend sharing the Hungarian slaw. It was sooooo good! I have never had Cole slaw prepared like this, we both loved it! For dessert we ordered the homemade key lime pie, one of the best I have ever had. If you are looking for a romantic evening, this is it! The service is outstanding! They also have outdoor dining as well. Highly recommend!!

Sarah K.

Yelp
The scallops were amazing! The New England clam chowder soup was good. The oyster rockefeller was ok. Too much creamed spinach on it. Mahi and oysters were decent. The service was great and the water view was nice.

LeAn H.

Yelp
I traveled out of town for work and my boss suggested this beautiful spot for dinner. We ubered because the street parking was unfamiliar to us but it looked like they had valet parking available. The she crab soup look and was told tasted great. I got the seafood Alfredo with a side of mushrooms. We also decided on splitting their cold seafood combination (Florida stone crab, jumbo shrimp, oysters and 1/2 Florida lobster). Everything was fantastic and our server was alert and took such great care of us. I will definitely need to visit here again when I'm in town.

Tim S.

Yelp
Finally. I made it back. It's been over a decade since I got a chance to stop back in to Billy's, a seafood icon of south Florida. We were driving by the other day and we were stuck at the light. a parking attendant was waiving us in thinking we planned to stop in. We agreed on the spot it was meant to be and we indeed pulled in and parked. It was early afternoon which must be the off hour as when we walked out of the elevators we noted quickly there were few people at the time. As I know usually its a spot that a reservation is needed to get in we felt a bit lucky. We grabbed 2 spots at the beautiful oak bar and exchanged hellos with the friendly bartender. I was quick to order the White Chocolate martini because, it just felt wrong in a good way. It was quite decadent, followed by a key lime pie martini that was at least as sinful as the first. We also got lobster stuffed mushrooms. We weren't hungry but they sounded so good. It was no surprise then when every bite truly was sumptuous. We headed out after that to make it to plans we had. But we will make it back for a proper dinner soon.

Earl H.

Yelp
Came in early for lunch. First ones in the restaurant. Service was great Andrea took very good care of us. Started with the conch fritters. Very fresh and tasty. Large chunks of conch. I had stone crabs and it's a good choice. My wife ordered king crab legs. A bit pricey but very tender and good. I ordered Lyonnaise Potatoes as a side just because it's been so long since I'm had them. They were good could have had a little more seasoning but that could just be me. Background music was very nice to listen to. Only part that was disappointing was to have to pay $10 for valet parking.

Angela G.

Yelp
Good and Service were AMAZING!! The view was calming and pay attention to the mirrors as the boats pass. We saw dolphins and saw a fishing team catch a fish. The food was fresh I had the cold seafood platter and the blackened seafood platter with asparagus. The chocolate martini and Long Island were tasteful. Over all the restaurant is a nice experience.

Cindy B.

Yelp
I always enjoy Billy Stone crab. It's one of those places where you know what to expect. The seafood is fresh. The staff is great and it's paired with a beautiful view. What more can you ask for? They always have my favorite Chardonnay. My only complaint was that the calamari was fried a little too hard and was salty, but still really good. The king crab leg was so flavorful and absolutely delicious and those potatoes ......so good. definitely recommend!

Pam K.

Yelp
This place was ok, but I probably won't go back. The best part was the brioche rolls with honey butter- delicious! My husband got the grouper sandwich and it was good. I got the mahi mahi key west style and it fell flat for me, especially considering the price. We also got the key lime pie. Im torn on what to say. It is better than a lot of key lime pies that Ive had, but it was VERY cold and the edge of the crust tasted slightly freezer burnt. So I assume it was thawed from frozen which is a pretty big detractor for me. Also I didn't think the view here of the intracoastal was the best I've seen. Still giving 4 stars overall because all of the seafood was fresh.

Robert S.

Yelp
My friend, Deb, took me to Billy's on Saturday for a late lunch, early dinner to celebrate my birthday. We enjoyed the seafood platter which was absolutely delicious! Then we shared the ginger salmon which was fantastic! So moist! Later to my surprise, I was treated to a cheesecake with happy birthday written in chocolate syrup on along the plate. The service was outstanding. The view of the inlet was beautiful. We had an enjoyable day.

Samari B.

Yelp
I wanted to like my first experience at Billy's more given the glowing reviews and how much diners spend here, but it fell short unfortunately. The oysters were probably the best part of my meal. The calamari was okay, however it was drenched in oil, and the sauce was not marinara sauce, it was flat out pizza sauce, literally as if you'd tasted frozen pizza rolls. I had the lobster tail Oscar style for my entrée which was okay taste wise, but both my entrée dish and my partners dish came out lukewarm as if they forgot about it. And when we mentioned it to our waiter, he did not acknowledge it, and you could tell he didn't really want to be there and wanted us to finish dining so he could go home. The crème brûlée was actually really tasty and would recommend. The ambiance was very romantic and intimate and I appreciated that it wasn't packed for a Friday night. I just couldn't get over the lukewarm food and the lackluster of our waiter. Maybe I'll try again and go for the cold seafood which they are more notorious for.

M W.

Yelp
Excellent food , extremely professional service. Old school ambience with a lovely view as it sits on the inter coastal. Highly recommend !

Karl S.

Yelp
Outstanding. We had 3 orders of stone crabs, every claw was perfect. Hash browns, Hungarian slaw, key lime pie - as good as any in South Florida. We sat in a four-person cabana on the water, heated and protected from wind.

Hope R.

Yelp
Service was awful. Dining room appeared Not to have been cleaned since NYE.Waiter completely inattentive. Food was really delicious as always but service spoiled the evening. Have been to Billys many, many times prior and always an exceptional meal; however, we will not be returning.

Kiana V.

Yelp
Completely blown away! We called in just a couple hours ahead of time and were able to get a table outdoors and experienced a beautiful sunset. We got the tower to share and everything single item was phenomenal. The best was of course the Alaskan King Crab and butter. The oysters were my second favorite. Our waiter, Richard, was very attentive and helped with great suggestions. Will definitely return!!

Natoya V.

Yelp
Love this place! Every time I come to Florida I have to come here. 10 out of 10. Please go and the atmosphere is cute.

Ronald P.

Yelp
Did not honor our reservation. Waiter kept bumping into dates chair back, worst bread since Publix dinner rolls, awful Cesar salad, grouper served lukewarm and dry, key lime pie served cold and tasteless...Billy's is not the place, we are going back to Joes.

Richard V.

Yelp
Over priced and the food while plentiful just mediocre. Better choices in Hollywood.

Meme R.

Yelp
Nice, upscale restaurant on the beach with a great selection of seafood. The atmosphere was gorgeous. You could sit inside or outside. We opted for outside since it was such a beautiful day. We sat right on the water in little Cabos. The food was good $$$$$ and the drinks were made well. Great place for a date night or just hanging with friends.

Theo J.

Yelp
Made reservations for 8 people and somehow they didn't have it apologized and seated us, no problem. We sat on the second floor overlooking the water. Our waiter Michael was fantastic. He was a real pro. He listened, made some do recommendations, clearly explained the dishes and preparation. Everything we had was delicious. Apps - calamari, crab stuffed mushrooms, and mussels. All very tasty and good sized portions. For dinner I had pan seared sea scallops, 5 large perfectly cooked. Side of Brussels sprouts the 3 of us shared. They had a slightly sweet taste and a little spicy kick at the end. Others had broiled mahi key west style (served with avocado, crab, and shrimp). Spouse had salad and a large crab cake. Everyone raved about their food. We will be back.

Yelp
our food were good... The service was outstanding. It was about 20 of us and we had a good time. The mashed potatoes were, the calamari, the salad, the stone, crabs, the fillet. so they say this number one of seafood restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood area. I guess but the other nine places on the list looked good too, so I will have to try some of them. This was the prices to go along with it, but the food was cool. I don't know if I would ever need to go back, but it was a great experience. Oh, when it gets dark, you better have your cell phone ready to order because it's really dim inside.

Yelp
Excellent food and service for our party of 20. We had inside tables with a view of the intercostal. Our tables were ready when we arrived. Wait staff was very attentive to our needs. The manager checked in several time to make sure we had everything we needed. To start our adventure, we ordered two seafood towers, MP $550 each, and they were huge. You do not need a main course if you have one of these. See the pictures. The quality of seafood is fantastic. So fresh and ice cold. All of the sides and additional main courses were also very good. I would return.

Yelp
It is not 100% recommended, it is 1000%. The place is super cozy and elegant, the food is great, but the best thing is our attentive waiter Brandon who made our anniversary meal something very special. We congratulate all of his employees for their impeccable service and food.

Yelp
I didn't feel good for two days after eating their scallop fettuccine. It was so heavy and smothered with the most heavy garlic sauce - no sauce needs that much garlic. Not sure about how fresh the scallops were - if they weren't fresh, the heavy garlic sauce would surely mask any fishy smell. The stone crab legs were good, but not worth the price. I ordered the clam chowder and that also was way too heavy and way too rich. I've had clam chowder all over the US, it's never this heavy. What I had a real issue with was service - from top to bottom. Awful. The valet guy wasn't there when I pulled in and there was no sign, so I self parked then to have to see the valet give us attitude about self parking. This was lunch during the weekday and the lot was empty. Why can't people park their own cars and not be bilked out of their money by having to pay for valet? Then inside it took forever to get someone's attention and get a table. Then we were sat in the section of a waiter who had two giant tables of eight people each and he got a new table after and was ignoring us and waiting on them hand and foot. Meanwhile we had to beg for everything, bread, water, someone to take our order, someone to bring the check. Totally felt like we were being discriminated against, even though we ordered a lot of food. If you're not one of their regulars, they could care less about you. He also made a mistake and brought a bowl of clam chowder instead of a cup that I ordered. He said he was going to fix it, but didn't and I didn't notice until I got home. To add insult to injury, he gave himself a nice added tip for the horrible service he provided. So incredibly shady to drive up the bill by accidentally putting in a bowl instead of a cup of soup and then not apologizing or correcting it and then pushing for the larger size snow crabs, not even mentioning there's a smaller size available that costs less, then having the audacity to add tip. When I asked for the check he went to get it and before he could drop it off, he got motioned by his other more important table and went to fetch their coffee instead, our check in his hand, while we waited and waited and waited. This restaurant is set up wonky, and not for people with accessibility issues, you have to take an elevator up, but then take another set of very steep stairs down. View was nice, but not worth the horrible experience we went through. Go to GG's down the street, WAY better food, much better views and outdoor seating, and impeccable service.

Yelp
Billy's Stone Crab is a South Florida gem! The service was A+++! The Host & Hostesses greeted us with warm welcoming smiles. We decided to dine at Billy's for my mother's birthday this year and we had such a great time. We were seated with a beautiful view of the water. Alan presented the specials and Brandon, our server was such a wonderful ball of energy! Brandon was attentive, funny and so sweet. We ordered the Calamari, Lobster Bisque, Key West Conch Chowder, Salmon, Seafood pasta, Filet Mignon and Lobster Tails....everything was Fantastic! My mom got a special slice of their awesome Key Lime Pie! Get the pie...you won't be disappointed. This place is such a vibe. Thanks Billy's! See you soon.

Yelp
Food was great, service even better. Prices are high but I assume that's free market dynamics so it is what it is...

Yelp
Sebastian, our waiter, made our experience. The stone crabs were by far amazing, of course. We loved sitting in the "rocker" chairs right by the water. Don't skip the key lime pie! And I highly recommend the "Old Smokey" as a drink! Worth every penny!

Yelp
My favorite seafood restaurant in South Florida. No need to drive to Miami to go to Joe's. Billy's has awesome Stan crabs, attentive staff, and a great location on the intercoastal.

Yelp
The vibe, the food, the service was impeccable! This was the last day of my family's visit and my cousin raved about Billy's so we decided to eat here for our final outing. From initial contact, Sebastian was a pleasure. We were early for our reservation and wanted to sit near the water of course, so we hung out on the benches for about 10-15 min. As we were seated, surprise surprise at the size of the terrapin fish just hanging out near the deck - I love nature so this was my element. Now because we sat outside, I couldn't really tell if the vibe was fine dining or more casual based on other guests' attire but it seemed to be a mix that worked well. Sebastian was very knowledgeable & helpful when it came to making menu selections - the table shared oysters on the half shell, lobster mac (the best choice) brussel sprouts (glazed & crispy) & hashbrown potatoes. I ordered the special - rack of lamb which was so flavorful - while the family ordered fish - grouper (blackened w/ lemon garlic butter) & mahi (bretone). Not one complaint. The drinks were pretty standard but still tasty and we ended the evening with a surprise bday dessert - key lime pie (our bday is in July btw ;)) Overall, this place is worth the price when it comes to cuisine. I would consider this a date night or a great place to have drinks! I plan on returning soon

Yelp
What a beautiful dinner eating on the water front. Food was so good we ordered to much. It was so good I ate way too much much. Nick was a great server at took care of us without rushing. This was our fancy/special night out on vacation and didn't disappoint

Yelp
Pros: amazing food. Stone claws were perfect. Key West preparation of grouper was light and complemented sweet fish, shrimp and lump crab meat in dish. Key lime pie was the best I have had. Quality mixed drinks and cocktails. Cons: sat at bar-top and bartenders were working their tails off but over busy keeping up with drink demands of restaurant so service was very slow. Terrific Fresh Seafood!
