I didn't feel good for two days after eating their scallop fettuccine. It was so heavy and smothered with the most heavy garlic sauce - no sauce needs that much garlic. Not sure about how fresh the scallops were - if they weren't fresh, the heavy garlic sauce would surely mask any fishy smell. The stone crab legs were good, but not worth the price. I ordered the clam chowder and that also was way too heavy and way too rich. I've had clam chowder all over the US, it's never this heavy.
What I had a real issue with was service - from top to bottom. Awful. The valet guy wasn't there when I pulled in and there was no sign, so I self parked then to have to see the valet give us attitude about self parking. This was lunch during the weekday and the lot was empty. Why can't people park their own cars and not be bilked out of their money by having to pay for valet? Then inside it took forever to get someone's attention and get a table.
Then we were sat in the section of a waiter who had two giant tables of eight people each and he got a new table after and was ignoring us and waiting on them hand and foot. Meanwhile we had to beg for everything, bread, water, someone to take our order, someone to bring the check. Totally felt like we were being discriminated against, even though we ordered a lot of food. If you're not one of their regulars, they could care less about you. He also made a mistake and brought a bowl of clam chowder instead of a cup that I ordered. He said he was going to fix it, but didn't and I didn't notice until I got home. To add insult to injury, he gave himself a nice added tip for the horrible service he provided. So incredibly shady to drive up the bill by accidentally putting in a bowl instead of a cup of soup and then not apologizing or correcting it and then pushing for the larger size snow crabs, not even mentioning there's a smaller size available that costs less, then having the audacity to add tip. When I asked for the check he went to get it and before he could drop it off, he got motioned by his other more important table and went to fetch their coffee instead, our check in his hand, while we waited and waited and waited.
This restaurant is set up wonky, and not for people with accessibility issues, you have to take an elevator up, but then take another set of very steep stairs down. View was nice, but not worth the horrible experience we went through. Go to GG's down the street, WAY better food, much better views and outdoor seating, and impeccable service.
