"Fried scallops, mahi mahi fingers, and the “world famous” oyster shooters demolish any pompous vibes that customer might usually associate with oyster bars. There’s no yuzu mignonette or caviar sandwiches in this dive." - Andre James

The oysters were shocked perfectly and they were delightful. Husband got the fish fry with grouper, shrimp and scallops. Everything was great except for the grouper lacked seasoning. The scallops were our favorite on the fried platter. Bimini has a store next-door, we went in to look for fish, but the market was closed for the season. The young lady that worked in there was super sweet! Did not catch her name, but she had brown hair and dimples and probably one of the nicest Persons we met in Myrtle Beach. She is definitely a keeper :-)

Visited Myrtle Beach South Carolina and got there late. Most restaurants were closing at 10PM. Found Bimini’s where they had conch fritters. Being from CT, we found their New England clam chowder watered down and bland. Maybe it’s just us, we are used to a creamier version. Mozzarella sticks were great. They have indoor and outdoor sitting. We also prefer our chicken wings crunchy and the wait staff was quick to attend to that. Service was good. Happy to eat before we call it a night from the long ride from CT.

Google
This is an awesome restaurant! Tried it for the first time yesterday. It has a great chill atmosphere, delicious food at affordable prices & great service! I had the hushpuppies, fish/calabash shrimp tacos (one of each) and a blue-colored margarita (I can't remember the name, but it was amazing). I'm definitely going to bring my family here when they come down to visit. Highly recommend!!

Stopped in for a late lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, and it couldn’t have been better! The place wasn’t crowded at all—just a perfect beach bar vibe with friendly, attentive service. Noell was my server and she was super nice and personable! I ordered the blackened grouper sandwich with hush puppies. Let me tell you, that grouper sandwich was AMAZING! The hush puppies were just okay, but I’d absolutely come back again just for that sandwich. Highly recommend!

Google
We were looking for a great spot to grab fresh seafood while waiting for our hotel room to be ready, and the front desk supervisor didn’t hesitate—he immediately recommended Bimini’s Oyster Bar & Seafood Market. And wow, we are so glad we listened! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was laid-back, beachy, and full of good vibes. We sat at the bar and had the absolute pleasure of being served by an incredible bartender (I’m kicking myself for forgetting her name—I think it started with a “T”! We were there on 6/21/25 around 2:00PM if that helps Bimini’s Mgt. give her a shoutout!). She was super friendly, welcoming, and gave us excellent drink recommendations. As for the food—it was delicious. We ordered the catch of the day (Mahi-Mahi) and the ¼ lb peel-and-eat shrimp, and both were incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You could taste the quality in every bite. Between the food, drinks, atmosphere, and standout service, this place easily earns a 10/10. If you’re anywhere near Myrtle Beach and love seafood, Bimini’s is a must-visit. We’ll absolutely be back!

We got here at 4 on Tuesday, just as they opened. There was already a line out the door. We were also told when we sat down that it would be a hot minute before our server got to us. However, the server was right there almost immediately. We had our drinks at the table and food ordered within 10 minutes of sitting down. If that isnt fast service, I don't know what is. The server also was extremely helpful with any questions and suggestions for our orders. I ordered a dozen raw oysters, new england clam chowder, hushpuppies, and Mahi catch of the day. The soup was pretty good, not the best I've ever had but good and chunky. The hushpuppies are however probably the best I've ever had. The oysters are average size. Fresh oysters though are soooooo good! I definitely enjoyed slathering them with horse radish, cocktail sauce, lemon, and hot sauce. The fish was delicate and delicious as well. Everything was overall just amazing. I barely managed to finish everything when our server asked if we wanted any dessert. I wish my stomach was bigger! Fantastic spot to eat. I live in Georgia, so I wish I could come more often and try different things, or at least get some more of those hushpuppies.

Google
Typical beach restaurant. I ordered the Mahi Mahi, and it was great. The hushpuppies are perfect! Other members of our party were not happy with the food for various reasons (lukewarm, overcooked salmon), but I liked it. Daniel was our server and he did a great job. Very personable and helpful.

Bimini's is a great local seafood place. You know you are in a good seafood restaurant when you walk in and there are long slated wooden tables with paper towels on them. Everything we had went from very good to excellent. Standouts included the snow crab legs (really sweet and delicious), steamed shrimp and the fried grouper sandwich. Homemade potato chips were great. Grilled grouper was good and fresh. Hushpuppies and coleslaw were solid. Our server was very nice and it was a relaxed, easy and fun meal. It's definitely kids friendly in there. We recommend this place over the ginormous seafood restaurants that are all over Myrtle Beach.

D L.

Yelp
Amazing food. Awesome service and really nice atmosphere here. Love their hush puppies

Tina P.

Yelp
Had a party of 12 who had been not been accommodated at other restaurants. We ended up at Bimini's as a last minute option and were met with impeccable service. Scotty was a very hospitable waiter! Checked in with us many times and was very attentive. Would recommend the hush puppies, the best I've had. Very nice local place.

Candice S.

Yelp
Having grown up in Charleston, I can confirm this place is great for low country boil. This is a great little place for fresh and well seasoned seafood like the way locals would eat. It has a bit of a dive bar vibe but amazing service and great food in a family friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Lolly S.

Yelp
If you have no food allergies this is an okay place. Unfortunately for me I do and I should have taken our servers advice and gone elsewhere, because they are not that fo Even though we were asked if we had any questions about the menu, after starting to ask the normal GF questions, had I not been with a large group we would have walked out. According to others the white clam chowder was wonderful, while the red was just okay. Crab cake was small but tasty. Both the fish tacos and the fish and chips were good. The bottled white sauce for the sea food was yummy. The seafood skewers I had was a meal best forgotten. The scallops were okay but everything else was so overcooked.. I could barely cut the tuna with a serrated knife. The shrimp on each end were very dried out. If you like mushy rice that was perfect. Had we not had such a long wait and not been with a group, I would have sent it back. If you eat outside be sure to not get the table right next to the smelly trash can.

Yelp
Visited Bimini's while staying in North Myrtle Beach in May. Had been there a few times years ago and was pleased to find the nothing has changed much in the past six or so years! Still has it colorful, beachy decor, great service even though the place is packed, and the food came out quickly and each dish or group had was great! Ewe had to wait 20 minutes for a table but the tiki hut bar and chairs in the parking lot were perfect!

Charon R.

Yelp
This is always our first stop when we arrive at the beach. I am a southern girl and trust me, I know my hush puppies and these are the best I have ever eaten. We usually sit at the bar just to keep it simple because there is almost always a wait. Plenty of cocktail options and we are always fully satisfied sharing one of the large combo plates and an extra basket of hush puppies of course! Nice local feel when we are here which we appreciate.

Karen H.

Yelp
Back again for the steam pot, the food, service and overall experience was very good! Will go back!

Fula O.

Yelp
First the positives Friendly attentive staff Open past 9 pm Nice pours on drinks Healthy portions Reasonable Maybe it was an off day but the food was just ok. Whoever was cooking was heavy on the salt The chowder was too salty. The conch was fried well and tender I wish it was less salty. We ordered the 1-2 steamer pots with crab legs, oysters and shrimp. I was happy to see that it was streamed and not the annoying overly seasoned boils I've come to dislike but this went the extreme opposite and was bland. I would have liked some flavor with the steamer pots

Brandon L.

Yelp
A++. From the tiki bar in the parking lot, all the way to the service, food and friendly atmosphere, highly recommend this place if you're looking for a local spot. A 30-min wait for us turned into 5, and our waitress, Noelle, was incredible. Will be back next time in MB!

Valerie V.

Yelp
Outstanding seafood in a "hole in the wall" kind of place. It's always crowded and there's a reason. Staff is friendly and attentive. The fried oysters are perfect and lightly breaded and crispy and their horseradish cream sauce is great with them. Huge portion.

Amberly L.

Yelp
This is our second time eating here this vacation and both times we've been blown away by the food and service. Noell has been our server both times and I don't think we've ever been so happy with a meal and been so well accommodated and served. We will be back! Ask for Noell!

Deanna P.

Yelp
This place is legit! It looks small from the outside, but there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Inside is a good atmosphere... loud but not annoyingly so. The service was great. Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food is delicious. Seriously, delicious. We had the fried oyster platter, the famous fish platter, wings, and the steam pot. The seafood was all fresh and perfectly cooked. We can't wait to return here on our next trip.

Mike C.

Yelp
This has become our go to place for seafood, we split the large grouper plate you get 8 pieces plenty of fries three hush puppies and coleslaw,we did order a extra coleslaw for a dollar, we have never been disappointed in the grouper. We also got a piece of key lime pie it was ok but not that wild factor. 5/21/24

Kayla F.

Yelp
Let me start by saying, if you don't like loud environments, this is not the place for you. However, if you love good seafood at decent price with amazing service, it's the best place I've been to in Myrtle. The portion size was perfect. The waiter had great recommendations and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with friends. It's not a huge restaurant, so that's where the noise comes from, everyone enjoying themselves.

Ashley V.

Yelp
Visiting Myrtle Beach for the second time and let me tell ya I am NEVER making the mistake of eating near the boardwalk again. If you're visiting and looking for fresh seafood, look no further, try this BIMINIS! They have great food, great service, indoor and outdoor seating and even a little tiki hut bar outside. we came in on a Saturday evening at 5:45 and we were able to get 1/4 lb of fried shrimp and crab Rangoon for $7 each thanks to their happy hour and I LOVE a good happy hour with food and drinks! The shrimp was fresh and hot! We ordered two crab clusters and more shrimp and everything was delicious, including the homemade hush puppies that came with the crab legs! Definitely will be back next time I'm in Myrtle!

Debbie K.

Yelp
Great oysters and grouper basket ! Yummy! Excellent service ! Always a good time here! Cold beer The environment is easy going and casual !

Yelp
While traveling it is VERY rare that I return to a restaurant more than once, especially while on a shorter stay. Well, Bimini's you have earned that honor for me (heck I would go a 3rd time if I could!). I feel lucky we found this place off season because from what I hear wait times are up to 2 hours during high visit times. Biminis is everything you hope and dream for from a beach town seafod restaurant, only its not just for tourists, the locals love it too! Its warm, friendly, tasty, and fun! The decor just puts you in a good mood the moment you walk in. Plenty to choose from on the menu and might I say very reasonable prices! My friend and I got the steampot for 2 and it was chock full of delicious seafood, the highlight being the simply steams crab legs. Great now my mouth is watering thinking of it (side note, it comes with slaw which was just ok but OMG the hush puppies that it comes with, holy goodness). On our second visit we tried the friend pickles. Our server warned us it was a bit salty, but the ranch it comes with was delish and homemade so we gave it a go. She was right on both accounts. After we wrapped up dinner the second night we got to chatting with some of the staff and a few folks at the bar. I have to tell you, this place is such a gem and perfect for what it is. Dont miss visiting the little store right next to the restaurant, its run by one of the staff members sister-in-laws! Thank you for 2 wonderful visits!

The R.

Yelp
This place is awesome. I'm not sure if it's a local hangout but it definitely felt that way. The service and the food were amazing. Probably the best crab cake I've ever had. My husband got the oyster shooter which was a fun (and spicy) experience. The fries are sooooo good.

rickpat a.

Yelp
We tried Biminis on a recommendation from someone we played golf with. We arrived around 630 and there was a line to get in( always a good sign). We got our buzzer(told 15-20 minute wait) and visited the gift shop. After making our purchase we were pleasantly surprised to get a buzz that our table was ready. We were seated at a table for 2 near the window. The place was packed and very loud. Our server promptly took our drink orders and was back very quickly with those. My wife ordered shrimp tacos and I had the blackened Mahi. My wife loved her tacos and my mahi had a good flavor, but was maybe a little overcooked(dried out the Mahi). The hush puppies were great. I would go back, but if you are looking for a quiet place to have some good seafood this is Not the place for you.

Jay S.

Yelp
Great spot to watch a game and eat some raw bar. Service was great. Food came out fast and hot. Menu is straightforward and bare bones but in a good way. Highly recommend.

Ashley C.

Yelp
Our food was awful. As new englanders, we were excited to try some southern raw oysters and fried clams. This place was rated well and packed when we got there. We ordered a dozen raw oysters and I cannot properly express how awful they were. Practically frozen, no brine and no taste. The fried clams were crumbled of breading, had to hunt around for an actual clam strip. I couldn't leave fast enough.

Alvia Y.

Yelp
Family-friendly locals favorite laid back shack-style restaurant and was just perfect on our first night visiting Myrtle beach. The crab leg clusters were reasonably priced and very fresh. The kids loved the original island fried shrimp. Husband said the oysters were super fresh and asked the waiter who shared they come from Virginia. Salmon grilled was also great. Recommend a side of their house made chips. We will most definitely go back for the crab legs! Also, for a quick family walk afterwards we walked from the parking lot past a miniature golf to the surf souvenir shop and then to sugar kingdom.

Tom A.

Yelp
Great food and great service. Very reasonable in price too. Hush puppies were excellent.

Jerry T.

Yelp
Ate there with my wife tonight. Food still good and reasonable. It's a local favorite. We had oysters and fish all cooked well. It packs out at 4:00 for happy hour . We had bar seats great service. Been here in the past... will return.

Lori B.

Yelp
I used to frequent Bimini's in the late 80's early ninety's. I don't know why it fell off the vacation radar, but I am so glad I found it again. Having an earlier disaster with another local joint trying to get some good fried oysters, I was determined that they were here at the beach somewhere. I remembered Bimini's and and we headed that way. Large crowd with a not too long wait. Excellent service and I finally got some good fried oysters! They were excellent! The BF got shrimp and oyster combination and although the shrimp were good, he was wishing he had gotten all oysters because they were better than the shrimp. GF got Fish and chips and said they were great also. Our waitress was very attentive. Definitely put Bimini's on your vacation radar. I'm sure you wont be disappointed.

A S.

Yelp
The best fish tacos and cold beer I've had in a long time. The homemade chips and ranch can't be beat. They offer xtra horseradish if you like your cocktail sauce spicy. Casual atmosphere with friendly service.

Tia W.

Yelp
Our Server, Bailey, was very engaging and helpful. This place reminds me of a place called Captain Steve's near me, where almost everything is fried. The atmosphere is very casual and there is a nice patio area that was filled with a group when we arrived. I think that perhaps the seafood here was overhyped to us, but it was just "okay," in my opinion. I would attend again if there wasn't a wait but it isn't something I think I'll be thinking about and making a point to come visit whenever we are in the area again.

Kathy M.

Yelp
Food was good, would have enjoyed a larger piece of fish. Off the busy street, busy inside.

Karen K.

Yelp
I had the mahi mahi basket and it was fabulous. I also ordered a chowder- not quite like the clam chowder I was accustomed to, but good. Little loud- but thats because this is a local hangout! My friend has blackened mahi mahi and she was bragging on it as well. Very very good! Will be heading back before heading back home.

Ron P.

Yelp
This place is wonderful best oysters on the beach Service is the best. Wonderful bartenders that handle the whole bar with drink & food. They always see to whatever your fancy. AAA+

Kimberly B.

Yelp
I have been going for years with my family. They have the best wings on the beach. The atmosphere is fun, and the best server is Natalie! Her personality makes the experience even better.

Aaron W.

Yelp
Lousy food. Hush puppies were dry. After the waiter forgot them. Never checked in ti see if food was ok. No drink refills. Also forgot cole slaw. Too many bar flies. Bunch if loud drunks my little girl was scared and wouldnt ear. Used to be very good and we came back every year. Not sure if i will ever come back after this time.

Doug L.

Yelp
This has been our go-to spot for years, honestly one of our favorite spots and we often eat here 3-4 times each trip. Unfortunately, our last visit was disappointing. Our waiter, Chad, was in his own world, and they weren't crazy busy. Our apps had arrived before he had gotten a chance to take our food order. Not a biggie but then when the our actual food arrived, he didn't come back to check to see if we needed anything (which we did, my wife loves mustard with her fish, weird, I know). Guy was no one I would have representing my brand based on my experience with him. Not friendly, not cool and not efficient. The biggest disappointment were the servings. We both got the two item fried plate, flounder and shrimp. My two pieces of flounder combined were smaller then a box of cigarettes, with around 15 calabash shrimp. Not remotely enough to get full on. I understand food costs have soared, but they don't have cheap prices to start with. I'd like to say I'll try them again, been there 20+ times but also don't feel it's fair to waste another $150 to expect an improvement. This last visit made me feel like they are living off their previous reputation and not focusing on preserving it. Definitely a bummer for sure.

Connie H.

Yelp
So a year or so later I'm back, this time with fewer people but nevertheless, when not thinking of the ocean, as usual thought of my stomach so had to rush back here! 2 of us got the fried grouper- yes I'm nothing if not consistent and my son got the grilled grouper, primarily because he couldn't chew because of his wisdom teeth being removed. We also added the Fried Mahi sticks. Love love this little place!

Mark E.

Yelp
This was recommended by one of our friends, I usually don't just go where someone tells me "it's good". But when I pulled up the review, things seemed to line up! When we got there, it was about an hour wait, for a party of 11, at peak dinner time. We were seated and promptly greeted by our server Willis (I think that was her name) and WOW, was she fun! She was very accommodating and understanding; answered all our questions and gave strong recommendations. We got conch fritters, oysters, oyster shooters and Bimini's Famous fish basket. Everything was delicious! My favorite, oddly enough was the hush puppies that the meal came with. The conch fritters were really good, great texture, good flavor (reminds me of a bit of stuffing with chunks of clams, but fried to perfection). Right at your table, there's a white-sauce, cocktail sauce and all the traditional condiments. Play around with it! Find the combination that works with you! The fish was good, chunky, meaty, but for me not a lot of taste. It's still very good tho because of all the fixings. The oysters....OMG!!! I like oysters to eat simply because it's something I don't usually get to eat on a regular basis. These were probably some of the best-tasting oysters I've had. I tried it plain, tried it with horseradish, tried it with horseradish, hot sauce and lemon.....it all worked out great. The shooters were something else tho! Fun to experience, a bit different to look-at! Overall, HIGHLY recommended! Not the most commercial-looking, can't make a reservation, but it's all worth-it in the end! Enjoy your meal!

Jeff D.

Yelp
Great meal at this hole in the wall. We were told this is where the locals eat. They were busy at 4:30 but we didn't have to wait.

Melissa W.

Yelp
Had the best sea scallops! Great service and very attentive. Seafood was all wonderful. Great local fare. Hidden gem of Myrtle Beach

Jim J.

Yelp
Great food and service. The atmosphere makes you feel at home and the entire staff welcomes you as if they have known you. Special place

Marcia M.

Yelp
Food was excellent especially the shrimp and oysters. Service was great and atmosphere was very beachy.

Diane D.

Yelp
Still my favorite place in Myrtle Beach. This time I was here with some of my family. They agreed that it was the best place we've been in 2 weeks here. My son got the steamer pot and said it was amazingly flavorful and everything was cooked perfectly. My grandson loved his burger and my granddaughter loved her NE Clam chowder. I forget what she and my daughter-in-law got, both seafood entrees, and we were happy all around. Thanks Biminis! They also have the BEST waitstaff!

Mitch C.

Yelp
Very busy place old school seafood restaurant reminds me of early days. Service was fast food was delicious grouper sandwich and shrimp po boy and hush puppies oh my just get there.

Karen J.

Yelp
Excellent food & service. We went last night, Tuesday, got seated right away and our waiter was immediately there. The food came out quick and hot. I had the shrimp teriyaki and it was perfect. The others said their shrimp, crab cakes, grouper & man I were perfectly cooked. Great atmosphere, very islandy vibe.

Robert S.

Yelp
We visit Bimini's every year while on vacation. It is always an amazing experience. Do not let the wait scare you

Robin H.

Yelp
Great service and good seafood.. great prices. Very busy during peak times and noisy. Worth it though

Ben L.

Yelp
Based on the recommendation of a friend, Bimini's was our first stop after arriving at the beach for a short fall break vacation. It certainly lived up to the hype. The food was both excellent and plentiful. I truly believe there was an extra dozen oysters in my wife's oyster roast and all were fresh and tasty. The fried seafood (shrimp and crab cakes) were not over breaded or oily. They were light and well seasoned. The house chips were great and a nice break from your typical seafood fries. We will be back during this trip!

Amy S.

Yelp
Food is great, service is good. The inside is loud, and they don't allow you to separate the check. Bring cash! Go early or late! There will be a wait. Delicious oysters and crab legs.

Lyndsey L.

Yelp
Best seafood I have had in Myrtle beach to date! Super fresh and delicious! The seared tuna was so fresh and delicious and the fried grouper was maybe the best fried fish I've ever had! Service was great and they went above and beyond to make sure our experience was great! Please go- you won't regret it

Everette Paul R.

Yelp
Everything at Bimini's is good. The only problem is even though they have inside and outside seating, they need more because there is always a waiting line but worth the wait.

Tiffany E.

Yelp
Everyone raved about this place but it is an easy pass for me next time. There's nothing remarkable about it and I do mean nothing! First impressions: it was dirty; the floor was dirty. There was trash on the floor. The flies were buzzing about. The table was freshly wiped, but the walls were even dirty. The plastic chairs and the unremarkable food were a waste of an evening of my vacation. Yeah, I can't imagine why I would try it again. The grilled shrimp kabob and coleslaw could be made at any seafood place. Certainly not worth the wait in line or the effort . The waitress was kind but she saved most of the charm for the end of the meal when we'd be leaving the tip so there's that...but we tipped well anyway. Times are hard.

Rodney D.

Yelp
Last year, when my husband and I checked into Myrtle Beach Travel Park, we asked about local favorites for seafood. The lady behind the desk immediately said Bimini's. It is now our go to place. The seafood is fresh and lightly fried, or deliciously broiled or beautifully blackened. The portions are perfect. The service is always great. They have a variety of folks that work there, from young teens to men that look like they probably golf together when the restaurant is closed...all of them super nice and attentive. They have indoor and outdoor seating and a small bar area over in the corner of the parking lot. Even in the heat of the summer, the dining area on the patio is nice with the fans on. Skip the buffets (unless you want the all you can eat crab legs) and go to Bimini's instead. You'll be glad you did.
