Funky and fun. Wine, cheese, charcuterie were all glorious. The fabulous antiques are from the original antique business that previously occupied this space. Happy 16th anniversary. 🫑🥂It is no wonder that they have been so popular as a must go location on King Street.

We had gone walking down the long stretch of the street on Easter and were struggling to find a bathroom. So we came in and offered to buy something to use their bathroom. The Lady working there (Mrs L.) was very nice and helpful. We were told we didn’t have to buy anything and she just let us go. She proudly proclaimed they had the cleanest bathroom in the city and informed us she cleans it every hour. She also informed us The Charleston Place has massive bathrooms but they dont have a sign. The place has great atmosphere and a good amount of history in it(Lots of art pieces as well). If I did drink wine it would be here.

Came in for a quick bite and a casual bottle of wine. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the coziness of Bin 152. The staff were also super nice and attentative. Great place for people watching in downtown Charleston.

Google
One of my absolute favorite wine bars. You feel like you’ve been transported back in time. The bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable and all the cheeses and meats and truffles are to die for. The perfect date night spot!

Google
A nice little wine bar. I believe the oldest in Charleston. Rustic interior with a couple of tables outside offer a nice experience. They have a huge selection of wines. Unfortunately I like sweeter reds and they really didn’t have any. The truffles we ordered were delicious. We were full after eating at other locations, but, I saw some of the charcuterie boards they were bringing to other tables. Wow… they were huge. Service was excellent and knowledgeable. Definitely check it out next time you’re in Charleston.

Google
Great little wine bar. Rustic setting with some outdoor seating as well. Huge wine selection and beautiful cheese and meat boards. You choose what cheese and meat you want and how many of each so totally customizable. Bread they serve with it is perfect, crusty on the outside and light in the inside. They also serve beer. Wine can be ordered by the glass or bottle and in either 3 or 5 (I think those are the two options) ounce portions. Highly recommend.

Google
pricey wine bar! the wine options were expansive, and there were light charcuterie bites (think meat and cheese). i was quite surprised to see slices of prosciutto for ~$20. coming from nyc, i thought this was pretty pricey. this is a good spot to get a drink w a loved one but maybe only one drink. it’s not very cozy because the space is quite big and doesn’t fill up with people but still very quaint and cute.

Google
This might be my favorite restaurant in all of Charleston. If you love cheese, this place is paradise! The cheeses here are really amazing quality— I cannot explain how much I enjoyed them. The staff was really knowledgeable about all the cheeses and was able to make strong recommendations based on our preferences. The boards come with plenty of fresh bread so it was actually quite filling rather than just an appetizer. We got 2-3 items between 2 people. I’d say the average price of one cheese is $12-13, with the most expensive being $20. The place is super cute with two lovely tables outside and two more inside by the windows. We really had an amazing experience here and came back for more. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Charleston.

Yelp
I highly recommend getting a bottle of wine, ordered a charcuterie board and sitting outside.

Yelp
The ambiance is funny... at first I was worried it was a western themed place... I quickly realized they were going for more of an old European vibe . The wines range greatly in price and they're extremely precise on how many ounces you get. The cheese and meat boards have a ton of options, but are pricy in my opinion. (The Bread that comes on a board is delicious!!). The man, who I believe to be the owner or at least the solminer was extremely knowledgable

Yelp
Great wine selections, knowledgeable staff. Michael took care of us for a quick pop in for a glass of rose. Need to come back and try more for sure. Had a good amount of seating, wasn't super busy during the week but I can definitely see this place being a great spot for a date, girls night or just to try some unique wines.

Yelp
Our favorite wine bar stop Don't forget to taste the chocolates Wow oh wow Amazing selection of wines and a really talented staff Ambiance super rustic and cute

Yelp
The other night we had walked past Bin152 on our nightly walk and thought it was so cute and quaint. We aren't the biggest wine drinkers or at-least I'm not but we thought it would be a nice way to spend an evening. So we went there last night, and it was just that. It was very peaceful and calm. They had plenty of wine options we got probably the second cheapest in the menu for the 5oz ones. I got the Domaine Gueguen Chardonnay and I don't know what red wine my roommate got but we both enjoyed our drinks. They had charcuterie meats and a plentiful of cheese and chocolates to choose from to pair with your wine. I would love to come again and get something to pair my wine with but it was a nice starter for us. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 is mainly because I didn't feel as welcomed, and again maybe I just felt that way because I am younger and a beginner with the kind of wine I drink. I felt like I was getting judged so we moved outside. I tried announcing the kind of wine and she just wasn't really having it and didn't even try to help me learn it. I might be overthinking the situation but it didn't ruin it for us cause we know we are 22 year olds that are beginners and not experts and probably not their desired customers. I will say the service other than that was nice, they were always checking on us and very quick! We will just be looking at the menu and learning how to pronounce things before we go back But we will be going back!

Yelp
It was good. Large variety to choose from & authentic. It was recommended from our butler & what stood out was the fact they are opening one in France. Reason why we decided to experience this wine bar only.
google avatar

Yelp
Finally made it here Saturday evening and it was incredible! Easy parking at any of the Queen Street garages. It's very chill but still sophisticated inside. They do have a couple patio tables that would be great on a good weather day. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. They helped us pick out the perfect cheeses to complement our wine and meat choices. So many wine choices and the meat/cheese portions are so great for the price!
google avatar

Clint S.

Yelp
What a great way to spend our afternoon enjoying some very generous pours of delicious, high quality wines at an outdoor table on a beautiful sunny day at a typical French cafe style table with the same authentic chairs. This place is a gem to the extent that Edwyn said several times "This is the life," with which I agree 100% especially because it felt just like we were sitting outside of a wine bar in Paris.
google avatar

Meg C.

Yelp
Super cute and cozy inside with a few tables outside. Their wine menu is huge! They dont have any tasting flights that I saw but you can get 3 or 5 oz pours. The staff was attentive and ready to help. I do wish they had an easier food menu, I found it a bit hard to understand the pricing of items, if we needed to pick items for our own charcuterie boards and a list of chocolate truffles in the back.

Yelp
Third time visiting Charleston, first time visiting Bin 152. It was hotter than Hades outside and I needed a refreshment, and we happened upon this spot. Not too crowded in the early-afternoon on a hot summer Friday, so we were sat immediately. Service was friendly and prompt. Ended up getting Piave Vecchio (hard cow's milk cheese) and Prosciutto di Parma, Domaine Weinbach Riesling (2021), and Chateau Climens "Asphodele" Grand Vin Bordeaux Sec, FR (Semillon 2029). Both cheeses and both wines were great. And that bread was fantastic. We were able to cool down, fill up, and enjoy some great food and drink.
google avatar

Andrew J.

Yelp
The staff here is always well informed and willing to help you select exactly what you're looking for. Great wine selection of course but you can also get some light bites which can include some nice little chocolates as well. Love the overall atmosphere here and it can serve as a either a Happy Hour stop or quiet date night.
google avatar

Daniela Z.

Yelp
Came here with a friend once and tried a couple of jammy Pinot Noirs and an assorted charcuterie platter. They definitely offer some great cheeses and the window seating is ideal!
google avatar

Anne O.

Yelp
This is a nice spot to enjoy a favorite glass of wine, or try something new. Charcuterie has lots of choices with meat and cheese, but don't expect anything extra on the platter except bread. Simple yet tasty.

Brendan R.

Yelp
Wonderful service, broad wine and cheese menu. Definitely a must visit. Cheese comes with fresh baguette.
google avatar

Lauren W.

Yelp
This is always a great spot to stop before a dinner reservation in the French quarter. The menu is large and there a lots of selection. It is a casual, but romantic spot to get a drink. I think they also offer beer. I also think they have a Wine Wednesday special with a cheese/meat board.
google avatar

Melissa G.

Yelp
This is a great place to stop in for a cool glass of wine and some cheese. They have pages and pages of selections and if you don't know which way to go, ask them! They're knowledgeable and unpretentious.
google avatar

Sara F.

Yelp
Bin 152 is the perfect option for an intimate night of great wine and charcuterie! Even though it's on king st (which I typically avoid) it doesn't have that commercial/over run with tourist feeling you get at many other places. It's the perfect spot for a date night or a night out with friends! The service is great and the staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and great with recommendations! I can't recommend it enough!

Katie O.

Yelp
Friendly worker helped us try and decide what wines and cheese to choose. Both were delicious.
google avatar

Phil T.

Yelp
Wine, cheese, charcuterie... All my heart is yours, it belongs to you; and with you it would remain if fate were to exile the rest of me from your presence forever. Come to Bin 152 on King St. Buy a bottle. Buy a board. While away an amazing afternoon; you won't regret the decision, I assure you. We did exactly that yesterday as we waited for our dinner reservation and it whetted the appetite and set the stage perfectly for a wonderful night.

Anna A.

Yelp
I went on a weekday afternoon and there was only one other man sitting in the entire place. Despite having no one around the waiter rushed us to drink our wine and dropped off the check without us even asking. We were debating on getting another glass of wine but it seemed like the waiter was eager for us to leave after us only sitting there for about twenty minutes chatting. If it was busy I would get it! But it was not!

Honey R.

Yelp
Forgot the cheese but it's okay. Excellent service, excellent suggestions on wine, delicious decadent chocolates. But please add a changing table.
google avatar

Jisoo B.

Yelp
What a cute place! I like to hangout at a place where it gives me a nice, chill vibe rather than crazily loud and busy. And this is just right. We ordered Chardonnay from Sonoma County (2020) which was light and enjoyable. We had a really great time just chatting and talking :)

Troy M.

Yelp
It takes a bit for me to write a really negative review. However, after 10-15 minutes sitting in a 3/4 empty place at the bar. Three staff members walked past me several times. No hello no nothing...they watched me get up and leave without a word. Maybe if I was dressed different than jeans and a tshirt? But I'll never find out.
google avatar

Justin C.

Yelp
This is a secret spot in Charleston! We stopped here before our dinner later that night, and we had the best time there. There were so many wines and cheeses that I had never heard of before. The prosciutto came out beautifully on the charcuterie board, and the wines were great. Would highly recommend this!
google avatar

Y.G L.

Yelp
Great little place for a date night. The chocolate truffle was amazing paired with white wine. Decor was cute and the ambiance was relaxing. The servers were very nice and helpful. Never felt rushed to order and the wine selection was great. Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Aubrey W.

Yelp
I'm so glad we wandered in here!! The decor makes it feel a little like you're stepping back in time, in a good way. We were kindly greeted by the two gentlemen working there yesterday afternoon. We were presented with an extensive wine list. The selection here offers some thing for wine newbies and also more advanced vinophiles. We paired our drinks with some wonderful meats and cheeses and had a really nice, relaxing time. Bin 152 is pricey but worth it. Stop on in and treat yo'self!
google avatar

Felicia E.

Yelp
Great little wine bar. Large selection of reds, whites, and sweet wines. We also enjoyed the selection of wines and meats. Baguette served with it was delicious. Definitely going back to try other wines.

L P.

Yelp
My daughter and I stumbled upon this lovely establishment today. Service was knowledgeable and friendly. Charcuterie board was terrific. Staff had perfect knowledge about wine pairings. We stopped by later that evening for dessert and she poured me a glass that went perfectly with my truffle... fabulous!!! Thanks for a great experience!!
google avatar

Mykela F.

Yelp
I initially stopped in here as a tourist in need of a bathroom but the atmosphere was cool so I stayed for a drink and app before dinner reservations. The cheese and meat were both very generous portions and high quality. The wine selection was decent as well and the waiter, although a bit standoffish was helpful in picking out a glass for us.
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
Very fancy for a group of ~3-4 but I wouldn't say for big groups due to the limited space. Also, with the full capacity of people inside it can be very tight and get loud very fast. I don't know if I'd recommend this to new friends or a fist date, just Bc it might be hard to converse through the night and that is a big aspect of a wine bar.
google avatar

Stephanie H.

Yelp
My husband and I are budding wine enthusiasts and we stopped by here for pre-dinner drinks and it truly didn't disappoint. A step away from the hustle and bustle of King Street (at least during normal times) the tables are spaced far enough that you don't feel uncomfortable given the COVID situation. The atmosphere is calm and inviting with a dimly lit room with the old Charleston vibe. Matching the historical aesthetic of the city. They have a large variety of wines and the server was knowledgable which I find is not as common as you'd like whenever you go to a wine bar. He offered suggestions on a cheese which I can't recall the name at the moment which was a great compliment to our choice of wine and the duck prosciutto was fantastic. Truly an enjoyable space and will return when we come back to Charleston again.

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
Perfect atmosphere for wine and charcuterie! We had an engaging server. Everything was delicious. It took some time yo get our food, but we had nowhere else to be. Recommend!
google avatar

Heather J.

Yelp
Great wine list, Knowledgeable staff! Fun selection of cheeses and meats, tried some unique meats. Came with an awesome French baguette. Love the decor and vibe!
google avatar

Maggie R.

Yelp
Stopped a Bin 152 for a pre-dinner drink and some cheese during our single night in Charleston. In a perfect location right on the main strip, Bin 152 is super cute and romantic. There's an EXTENSIVE wine list by the bottle, a smaller (yet still entensive like 60 wines) wine list by the glass. We both described the kind of wine we like and the bartender kept giving us tastes until he got it right! Needless to say, we both loved our wine selection. We ordered 2 cheeses, which came with really great bread. A much bigger cheese portion than I was expecting. And delicious too! A perfect date spot, bring your babe.
google avatar

Dalia A.

Yelp
This place is so cute! Perfect place if you love wine and charcuterie boards. After a busy day touring downtown Charleston, this is definitely the place to wine down and change the pace. Great place for intimate gatherings. Staff are extremely nice and welcoming
google avatar

Jen L.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying that the hubby and I ONLY had a glass of wine each while we were here, so that is all that I can rate it on. That being said, we were actually very pleasantly surprised with them! We were walking around for several hours, and it was getting a bit warm out, so we decided to stop on in and grab a glass of wine and some a/c. The bartenders were beyond knowledgeable with their wines (and they have a LOT to offer!) and very friendly. The hubby wanted a red wine, but nothing too heavy. They suggested one (I forgot the name, but it is their only chilled red wine), and he was impressed with the wine. We did see a bunch of others eating charcuterie plates, and it looked very tasty (but we were about to head off to dinner). We will definitely stop back in here next time that we are in town.
google avatar

Coralie Z.

Yelp
Super pleasant experience! Taylor and Vince were very welcoming as we made our way into this quaint comfortable wine slice of heaven. Taylor was very helpful in suggesting a bottle of wine for us to share and she also helped us pick a few pieces to make up a charcuterie board. The charcuterie was al a carte and after we told her what we liked, she suggested two meats and one cheese that turned out to be a perfect fit. Beware...they give you A LOT of meat! I say beware in a good way..it will fill you up because they don't skimp. Along with the meat and cheese they give you a whole loaf of warm yummy bread. Vince was easy to talk to and it just felt warm and homey in there. To make it 100% perfect the wine bar could've had a darker ambience but to be fair we were there at 5:00. Maybe at night it has the feel we were looking for. As it stands we'll have to settle for 99.9% perfect..too bad for us Knowledgeable people and very relaxing...

Dave P.

Yelp
Great wine selection, Sam and staff are awesome! Surprisingly excellent charcuterie! Nice music .
google avatar

Alyssa S.

Yelp
Super cute Parisian style bistro. Great wine selection with upscale custom charcuterie selections. Great for an afternoon snack.

Jesse R.

Yelp
Service was good but menu was lacking and prices were much higher than your average charcuterie place. Location looks nice, but also had to swat flys away the whole time.
google avatar

Evan G.

Yelp
Bin 152 on King Street in Charleston is a great place to go for all things wine, drinks, and food. I really like the location and atmosphere here where you can relax and enjoy everything. The staff here is very accommodating and knowledgeable and make sure that everything is taken care of. I have had a really good experience every time I have visited here.
google avatar

Jenny G.

Yelp
Love love love. One of the best wine bars downtown. Chic comfortable atmosphere. Great selection of wine, cheese and charcuterie. You really can't go wrong here
google avatar

Courtney K.

Yelp
Came here while waiting out our 167 Raw 3 hour wait and this was the perfect place to spend that time. Truly a hidden gem in Charleston. I've passed it many times and can't believe I've never been in. Service was great and very attentive. There was a wide variety of the selection of wine and the bartenders had great recommendations. You don't need to be an expert to order here. My favorite was for sure the red Zinfandel. The mood lighting was perfect for our intimate date night. The only recommendation I'd have is maybe adding a separate ladies room. One bathroom was a little frustrating as we did come at a busier time. But none the less we will be back soon on our next date night out!!

Kristin S.

Yelp
Party of two we went early on a Tuesday afternoon after a day of sight seeing . We were not greeted and we sat for about 15 minutes before we were acknowledged. (There were only two other tables) Right before we went to leave a lady approached us, we ordered 2 glasses at the 5 oz pours.... When we received them they clearly much less than the other patrons around us. We ask for the check and were charged $50 (before tip) for the smallest glasses of wine I have ever received. Will not return.
google avatar

Jessamyn B.

Yelp
Coming from a self-proclaimed "not a cheese person", holy COW (pun intended) I loved this place. We swung in for a pre-dinner snack and glass of wine. The dancing fern cheese was like butter. If charcuterie board size is important to you, which isn't it to everyone, prepare to be amazed!
google avatar

Grace M.

Yelp
So happy my friend and I found this place!! So amazing!! Had the best sparkling rose I've ever had!! We shared two chocolates ( peanut butter and salted Carmel, so delicious) and great service. Would love to know what the sparkling rose is!!
google avatar

Katie O.

Yelp
Enjoyed pre dinner wine & charcuterie at Bin 152 during our visit to Charleston! Cozy atmosphere. I do wish they offered pre selected meat and cheese boards including several different meats and cheeses paired together to choose from and not just a La carte. Or even a pairing with a wine and particular meat/cheese. Or wine flights! So many great options that it was hard to pick one or two to try! We also made the mistake of not getting a bottle of wine since my husband and I both had two glasses. So I wish the staff would have recommended this to us. Also my husband mentioned to me after that he was reading the menu wrong as they offered 3 oz and 5 oz pours. Do wish this was explained a little better also. It was a pricey spot but would still recommend.
google avatar

Jen H.

Yelp
Such a great find. It's in a part of town where everything closes before 7pm but it's a diamond in the rough. The employees are very knowledgeable about the wine and I highly recommend a cheese pairing. I had so much fun just talking with the bartender and listening to the jazz piped over the speakers. Their wine list is extensive and organized by region. They offer 43 wines by the glass and they range in price from $5 to $23 so there is something for everyone. Whether you're looking for a snack before dinner or just quiet place to grab a drink, this is your place. Highly highly recommend!
google avatar

Kelly C.

Yelp
I met a group of friends here on Saturday evening for a pre-jail tour drink (or two). The two bartenders were super attentive and very helpful, answering the questions we had and recommending appropriate cheese plates. It's a cute little spot, perfect for quiet conversation and sipping your wine. It was rather quiet on Saturday evening but I could totally see coming back here on a date.
