London’s Best Restaurant and Food Pop Ups and Residencies for 2023 - Eater London

"Popping up between Dalston Junction and Hackney Central, Suba specialises in West African baking. Its arrival at Binch follows many successful weekends at markets around Hackney, particularly Chatsworth Road, with founder Pa Modou serving up tapalapa bread, caraway buns, and soft, stretchy agege loaves." - James Hansen

We’ve heard good things about the wine here, but after popping in for a drink on a random Tuesday - wow does Binch deliver. Silas was working and helped us pick a glass of the orange wine and dark rosé, and both were delicious. I don’t think you could go wrong with anything you try though. The space is cosy and perfect for a date night or catch up with a friend. Service is friendly and kind. We can’t wait to come back!

Binch — Wines for Every Mood, Every Palate Binch is a wine lover’s playground — bold reds, crisp whites, funky naturals, and everything in between. Whether you’re here to sip slowly, pair with grilled bites, or explore something new, the selection is wide, exciting, and full of character. Why the wine stands out: Diverse list — from classic European bottles to small-batch natural producers By the glass or bottle — flexible, generous, and perfect for sharing Staff recommendations — spot-on, friendly, and never pretentious Pairings — grilled meats, smoky veg, and snacks that elevate every sip

Such a cute spot!!! Perfect intimate space for date night or a drink with a pal, the guy there was so friendly and cool. We had such a lovely time and he recommended such a lovely glass I had to leave with a bottle. Will be back for my dates 🥰

Stumbled across Binch having left the pub cause it was too noisy. It was like an oasis of calm and quality rather than quantity. The barman was super friendly, it felt like halfway towards popping around to a friends house with the best beer and wine selection in town. Great artwork, interesting selection of beers, ales, pale ales, iPad's, stouts and sours. As well as wines. It's a small capacity place more geared to couples as a group of 5 would fill a third of the space! Its cosiness is part of its strength. Really glad we found it, looking forward to going there again to try something new in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Great wine bar in the Hackney area. Staff are very knowledgeable on their wines and run such a cozy spot!

Lovely small bar with beer on tap and always and interesting selection of wines by the glass (and a much bigger selection of bottles). A few good quality snacks if you’re interested - but in general perfectly designed for a quiet personal drink or a couple of drinks with 1 or 2 friends. It’s great it’s survived so long and seems to still be doing well - I personally miss the beer fridges, but will still keep coming back.

It's a small little wine bar but I popped in for a quick drink on a Saturday afternoon. I enjoyed the sparkling wine I tried there.
