"Hungover? Have a hearty breakfast of huevos rancheros or a gargantuan pambazo sandwich stuffed with potatoes, chorizos, cheese, and refried beans in a homey setting reminiscent of Abuelita’s house right off Highway 70 in Donelson. At Birrieria y Taqueria Arandas, you can even get a three-taco quesitaco birria combo with flavorful consomé for dipping or a torta stuffed with beef tripe." - Clara Wang, Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

"New on the scene and bringing birria tacos to the masses in Donelson, Birrieria y taqueria Arandas offers quesabirria platters alongside asada tacos, mulitas, fried plantains, and more. There’s also another older location, at 2111 Murfreesboro Pike, with online ordering available." - Delia Jo Ramsey

This is a great new spot to my list. I ordered the quesabirria with horchata to drink…I didn’t think it was going to be a big portion so I decided to add a sope de asada, my partner ordered the birria soup along with a torta de asada. When we got our plates there was a good amount of food that we didn’t even finish it all. The waitress was nice and attentive. The food was really good. We went in the morning (10am) and not really busy. I’d definitely recommend this spot. It is small so if you go at a busy time you might have to wait for a table.

We are new to this side of town and we were looking for a new taco spot closer to home… we’ll this definitely wasn’t it… the place is very small and very hot! We visited this place around 7pm and live 5 minutes away from it.. not sure if we came in the wrong time or what but the place was very dirty flies everywhere, dirty tables and floor.. even the booth we sat at had trash on it and the waitress told us to sit there there was no way she could have missed the trash on the booth seat… we changed our minds and changed our order TOGO.. as my family went back in the car to wait I sat there waiting for our food… our waitress is having a conversation with the cook about a salsa being left out under the table we were sitting at over night. As it couldn’t go in the fridge as it was still hot and it would go bad… she instructed the cook to leave the salsa out under table at closing and to make sure to cover it because if not “animales” would get in it… as we got home the asada tacos smelled bad and was super over cooked, the torta was super soggy as I mentioned before we live 5min away from this place not enough time for the food to get that nasty.. couldn’t even eat it.. the shrimp taco was nasty.. the tortilla was cold and the shrimp wasn’t even grilled at all. Wish I had took pictures of the place… we paid and took our food out of curtesy and not to be rude and walk out… waste of $30. We went there expecting better do to the reviews from Other people.

Great tacos... cabeza, chorizo, and carnitas were all done right! Chips cooked to order is a nice touch.

Really good food and at a reasonable price! I got the 3 Birria Taco combo along with the Tortas steak sandwich and it was only $19! The lady there was very nice and friendly as well! Here’s an updates menu as of 2022 since the one someone posted online has old prices ⬇️ (Ps. They aren’t in order, sorry)

Had some time to kill before flying out of Nashville. I got the Quesitaco Combo Birria. Absolutely delicious and definitely some of the best I’ve ever had. I went on a Monday around 1pm, so it wasn’t busy. The service was great and the food came out fast. I will 100% visit again when I’m in the area.
