"Though it looks like a bistro from outside, Biscottis greets guests with a large display case of towering cakes and cheesecakes. No reservations needed - desserts can be boxed to go. Popular items include German chocolate cake, salted caramel cake, and seasonal offerings like pumpkin toffee cheesecake. Whole cakes are available for larger gatherings." - Megan duBois

"One of the earliest start times for brunch is at Biscotti’s in the Avondale neighborhood, beginning at 8 a.m. and running through 3 p.m. on the weekends. Highlights of the bistro-style menu include the blueberry and pecan waffle or the creme brulee French toast that is topped with an orange honey mascarpone cream and maple syrup. The restaurant does fill up fast on weekends, especially for outdoor seating, so get there early to avoid a wait." - Megan duBois

"The Avondale neighborhood of Jacksonville has many charming restaurants and cafes, and one of the standouts is Biscottis. The cozy restaurant is known for its ancho chili-rubbed pork chop, which is served with a sweet and savory caramelized apple butter sauce, baked macaroni and cheese, and sauteed green beans. Be sure to stick around for dessert, or just walk up to the cake counter and ask for a slice to-go and enjoy it at home." - Megan duBois

I visited this restaurant based on a friend’s recommendation, expecting delicious food given its prime location. The atmosphere inside was fantastic, with a beautifully designed interior that really stood out. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service, which I truly appreciated. However, my opinion shifted once the food arrived. My friend ordered the meatloaf with pasta salad and an espresso before that, and seemed to enjoy it, though I suspect he might have been too polite to be entirely honest. I didn’t try it myself, so I can’t say for sure. I went with the Smashburger and chose pasta salad as a side. While it looked appealing, the taste was disappointing. The pasta salad felt far from fresh, with a gamy and dry texture that didn’t live up to its description. Disappointed, I switched to a Caesar salad, which was an improvement—decent, but not remarkable. The burger, however, was a letdown too. It was overwhelmingly salty, and the meat lacked any real flavor. Considering the price, I expected a fresh, tasty meal, but that wasn’t the case. I felt reluctant to waste food, so I ate what I could, though it left me disappointed. Overall, the quality of the food didn’t match the restaurant’s potential or its setting. I hope the management takes this feedback to heart and works on improving their offerings.

I'll try to make this short... Brought hubby here to celebrate his b'day this past weekend. There was not one staff member that we came into contact with that was not amazing. From the time we walked in to the time we left THE BEST customer service we've had in a restaurant. Our waitress (I believe her name was Carmen) was outstanding, the manager on duty(so sorry I forgot her name) was so kind. Now the food and dessert were top tier, so flavorful, seasoned to perfection. Our waitress brought hubby his dessert with a candle and happy birthday spelled out on the plate.i wish we could've tipped her $100 😂.

So delicious, can't wait to visit again 😋 Food was fresh and made to order. Reservations are suggested but not required. Be minded that this place gets full quickly, but a little wait is worth waiting for to indulge in their exquisite menu. Their portions are right, and prices are reasonable. We enjoyed a few plates from their brunch menu. I highly suggest their cornbeef hash. It was made to perfection, and please don't miss on their cocktails 🍹🍷

One of our go-to spots in Avondale. Definitely recommend reservations in the evening. Their menu is seasonal and always fresh. The goat cheese salad is amazing with their white balsamic dressing. When it is on the menu the short rib is great. I love that the kids menu has salmon available. The highlight is always cappuccino and cakes for dessert. The slices are huge and perfect for sharing. Favorites from the dessert case are the coconut cake, carrot cake, and lemon blueberry cheesecake. Also, don't overlook their cocktails.

Biscottis is hands-down one of my favorite weekly rituals. The service is consistently exceptional—Micah and Sarah are my go-tos, but honestly, every server I’ve had has been phenomenal. The bread pudding (ice cream on the side, of course) hits every single time. And let’s not forget the bar—Tiffany and Bailey are absolute artists. They mix our drinks to perfection, without fail. Great food, great people, and an atmosphere that keeps me coming back. Highly recommend.

Google
We had brunch and it was outstanding. My husband ordered the slow braised corn beef hash and I got the turkey sandwhich. We were able to sit at the bar which was great. Our bartender was Sabrie and she did an outstanding job. We would highly recommend this place.

Google
My family ordered two slices of cake, champagne, and chocolate with pecan. Both cakes were overall good, with a generous serving portion. The crumb was amazing, super soft and tasty, but the filling and frosting were not to my liking, as they were a little too sweet for my taste. We also had hot chocolate with whipped cream, which was quite good. The prices are reasonable, about $12 for a slice of cake and $4 for the hot chocolate. The atmosphere was pleasant, but the service was not the best. While our waitress was polite and attentive, the host was not amicable, and some other staff members were similarly unwelcoming. My 19-month-old son was with us, and one staff member reacted poorly to him playing by the window, which was disappointing. This experience is the main reason I’m giving 3 stars, primarily due to the service.

Google
My family brought me here to celebrate my birthday with me and the food was delicious. Everything was amazing and our server was super nice & knowledgeable of the menu and explained everything well before we ordered. I had the fish bites and meatball pizza. We will come back again. Thank you for amazing service today!

Yelp
One night after a hockey game in town, we stumbled up across this place. We were gonna go to the mellow mushroom across town, but we noticed that this place so it's open super late. They were able to see six people right away and it was like 10 PM. This restaurant is so romantic and has the most adorable date night vibes. We didn't have any expectations for this place, but once we took our first bite of our meals, everything tasted way better than we thought. My husband's burger was delicious, It had a great sauce on top. The waitress was so sweet. My aunt and I was sharing a meal and she split up the meal for us into two plates. We ordered the meatloaf sandwich and it came with a pesto pasta. And what really caught my eye walking into this place was their case of homemade cakes. We tried the raspberry cream cheese, and we tried the cappuccino mousse cake. Such a hidden gem and can't wait to visit and try some more items on the menu

Yelp
We had a lovely dinner here. I went for the pizza and it was delicious. I was only disappointed by how much grease was under the pizza. I soaked up two full napkins and could have used one or two more. With that said, the flavor was great. My husband enjoyed his gnocchi. The cake was good too! My friend got the red velvet and I have to agree I like that one better. The nuts on top didn't really do anything for me. Could use some spice or salt. Their carrot cake is really good too.

Yelp
TLDR: HORRIBLE customer service.. not worth the grief. There are plenty of other places around Jax to get delicious desserts and actually value their customers and treat them with grace and respect. It's Christmas Eve, we're having our family gift exchange, and since you can't have a proper get together without an abundance of desserts, my wonderful cousins offered to pick up a plethora of items from Biscottis. We ordered a total of 9 items, one of them being a slice of the pink champagne cake which was my specific request. Desserts are my weakness and here I am thinking about this cake all day. I've never tried it from here before, but I had super high hopes that I was just going to love it. Fast forward to post gift exchange when we're ready do dive into desserts... I start going through the boxes looking for it and to my despair, IT'S MISSING! My highly anticipated cake slice is basically the dessert version of Casper the Ghost. Despite my disappointment, it's Christmas Eve and late in the evening, so no harm no foul. Yes, we should have checked the bag beforehand, but we also assumed that the restaurant would get it right. We figured that it would be easy enough and we could just reach out to the restaurant after Christmas and at least get a refund for the cake. The holidays are crazy and everyone makes mistakes, and with 9 items and a long line, it was probably just an oversight. Unfortunately, we were dead wrong. Apparently it's restaurant policy to not offer a refund, replacement or even an apology if you don't reach out to them the same day. Under most circumstances I could potentially understand this, but it was Christmas Eve and then Christmas day! Calling about a missing slice of cake was certainly not on the top of the priority list. The GM who spoke to my cousin was rude, condescending, and lacked any accountability or remorse. Even a simple explanation of the policy paired with a sincere apology would have worked, but nope.. there was nothing offered. If this is the representation of this restaurant, there are plenty of other places around town to get quality desserts. Highly disappointing.

Yelp
Biscottis is always a great place for coffee and dessert. Our server was very tentative and super funny! I wish I would have remembered her name but she was amazing!! We sat outside as it wasn't too hot or cold this weekend and enjoyed some people watching, a great sunset and some amazing dessert. They have a case FULL of tasty desserts and treats to choose from and if you are interested in ordering dinner they have. A pretty extensive and delicious menu. We definitely recommend stopping by and at minimum having desserts.

Troy S.

Yelp
Biscotti's is undoubtedly my favorite restaurant in Avondale and possibly Riverside. Their consistently amazing food, regardless of the dish you choose, is what keeps me coming back. In my opinion, the blue cheese steak medallions stand out as the standout dish on their menu. While I miss the lobster gnocchi, I appreciate the frequent changes to their menu, which keeps things exciting and fresh. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making it a great spot for a date night. Additionally, their espresso martinis are top-notch, and they offer a wide variety of freshly baked cakes.

Yelp
We decided to stop at this bustling restaurant while traveling through Jacksonville. While on the road, I called ahead to make a RSVP. We arrived to the area and had to travel around the block a few times to look for street parking. We finally parked, walked in, and were seated right away. It did take some several minutes for a server to greet us, but by the time he showed up, we were more than ready to order our entire meal. I ordered the Sweet Potato Red Pepper Soup. It was naturally sweet and a very thick pudding-like consistency. I thought it tasted and looked like baby food. I think I would have appreciated a thinner consistency and a more savory balance. I was not a fan. I also decided to order the "TMB" Salad (marinated tomatoes, mozzarella medallions, & balsamic vinaigrette). The salad was a very generous portion. The fresh basil added a nice taste to the salad. But the stand-out ingredient was the tasty, house-made balsamic vinaigrette. This delicious dressing gave the rather simple salad an edge! Hubs enjoyed his veggie omelet with sides of bacon and smoked cheddar grits. All in all, this was a very pleasant lunch stop before continuing in our travels. I would definitely like to come back to this quaint historic area and browse the shops, boutiques, and other eateries.

Yelp
Come here for an after dinner sweet treat and was very pleased . $12.50 for a slice of dessert and it was well worth it. Ordered the Carmel cheesecake and apple crumble. Both were very flavorful and fresh. Great customer service and clean restaurant. Will def be back

Yelp
Biscottis was delicious! We happened to come upon this gem after leaving a hockey game close by. It was such a cute and cozy place that was modern and nicely decorated. I tried the open face meatloaf sandwich with pesto pasta! It was very flavorful and a great portion size. My niece had the smash burger and Caesar salad. The waitress was very knowledgeable and patient. She was able to explain everything in detail and was also a bartender there so she was able to suggest drinks to our liking. For dessert we tried the cappuccino pie and wow it was a nice ending to our magnificent meal! Definitely will be returning when I visit Jacksonville again!

Stacy A.

Yelp
Delicious food and service! The ambience is very welcoming. The dessert is too notch! I love their happy hour too! Great Sangria!

Heath A.

Yelp
I'll probably catch some heat for this because Biscotti's has nearly a cult following and I can understand why. We had a reservation and were seated on time and greeted by a very friendly waitress, so no issues there. The drinks were great and the food was delicious. We got cake to take home with us and it was smashing as well. The issue this trip was just how long it takes to get a drink there. The waitress took our drink order immediately, and I assume turned it into the bar. Later she came by and took our appetizer order. We did not get our drinks until after the appetizers were finished and our dinner orders came out before we were three sips into our drinks. I understand a bar can be backed up, but if your bar is backed up this far, you need to let customers know prior to them ordering. Maybe not a big deal to some people but what you pay for this experience I would expect better.

Yelp
Oh biscottis! I've heard so much about this place, and I had the pleasure of trying it finally one weekend while friends were in town. I can certainly see why this place is highly recommended. Service was fantastic, food was excellent (there wasn't anything that I tried that I was not a fan of), and the environment was cute. It's a great place to grab brunch, but I would make reservations ahead of time. We walked in on a busy Sunday morning and the was it was maybe 1.5 hours, but it was well worth it. My fiancé and I will be excited to be back one day to try dinner items.

Kevin N.

Yelp
Biscotti's is definitely one for the books. I went there with some friends for Sunday brunch. We came as a walk-in and had to wait over an hour for a table. I would definitely recommend reserving a table for this restaurant as they quickly seat their guests who have reservations. I ended up ordering the sweet potato pancakes with the house-made sausage and the hashbrowns. EXCELLENT! Would recommend this to anyone who is on the fence between options. The house-made sausage definitely took me by surprise by its freshness and great flavor. Everything that I had on this plate was a 10/10. If you're in doubt, you won't regret choosing this restaurant.

Yelp
Place was busy. Glad we got reservations for biscottis. Didn't care for reservation app they use so ended calling the restaurant to set up reservation. Was seated in bar area so it was noisy and had a hard time listening. That's all the down stuff. The service was good. Ordered a Ruben sandwich and this was by far one of tge best Rubens I've had. Corned beef can be tough but this was very tender. And the fries were excellent. Anna got the steak salad. She enjoyed. Drinks to start off. At the end shared a carrot cake dessert and this slice was HUGE. and very moist. Worth saving room for it. Biscottis is a nice place. Heart of Avondale area. Great area to walk and people watch. Got to try it. If possible... don't sit in the bar area.

Keith B.

Yelp
I never knew they had brunch. Was excited to join along with some friends and see how their menu is. As usual it's an inviting atmosphere. There were plenty of food options along with great brunch cocktails. Our waiter was extremely helpful and polite all while being patient. And I was fully excited to know they still have their desserts out at brunch.

Abbey M.

Yelp
Had the pleasure of coming in for dessert and coffee one Saturday evening. Our server was Micah and he knew what was up! We ordered an Espresso Martini, Irish Coffee and of course the infamous bread pudding. Everything was out of this world and Micah was so attentive! We appreciated the attention to detail and the quality of ingredients always impress!

Crystal W.

Yelp
Solid choice for lunch or date night in Avondale. Cute and cozy ambiance. Great selection of huge cakes and cheesecake when you walk in. It was my first time eating dinner here and I was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend the Korean BBQ short ribs which were so tender that the meat just falls off and the white rice was very fragrant. Charcuterie board was amazing too. Tip: if you ask for water with no ice, the water won't be naturally chilled. It will be warm fyi

Kate C.

Yelp
It's been a couple years since I've stopped by for brunch! It used to be my go-to! Normally I am a big fan of the French toast, but wanted to switch it up and tried the house made Salmon Gravlax. Glad I did. Bagel and lox at its fancy best. I would say it was just a bit too heavy on the tomatoes (easily resolved - I just removed a bit) but otherwise great. A crunchy red onion and very fresh dill was just what I was craving! I would say (and I try not to judge because everything is so dang expensive now) that this was maybe a bit overpriced though as good as it was. I did also decide to be an absolute glutton and got a side of the French toast (mascarpone with the light orange zing is still as delish as always), and a side of bacon (excellent, crispy in the right way). I also had coffee, which was good, and then an Irish coffee which was even better! My dining companion had the quiche. She said it was good! I did not sample, so take her word for it. Same for the hash brown! She also has a mimosa, which I did sample and it was well balanced - not too much champagne, not too much OJ! Our server was wonderful, the right amount of attentive (not overbearing, but also not MIA). He was also helpful discussing menu items and just all around a pleasant human. I feel like the ambiance just was very blah. And maybe this is just me - and this is why 4 stars instead of 5 for me today - but they just don't seem to have the "extra touches" they had previously. I mean this in the food and the mood of place. It used to feel like an experience coming here, and now just... going out to eat.

Marilyn K.

Yelp
Food service was great. It is a cozy spot on St. John in Avondale. Very nice menu. I had the burrito with black beans, eggs pico. It had great flavor. The sausage patties delish & a hint of sweet crispy outside. Next time I think I will ask chef to flat top the burrito to crispy that delish item as well. Good portions, fresh fruit. Really enjoyed.

Lynn K.

Yelp
I enjoy Biscotti's so much!! You can sit in front on their small patio or enjoy the rustic decor indoors... I enjoy the quaintness of their rustic Tuscan design and seeing the awesome dishes coming from the kitchen. I have been coming to this restaurant for brunch and dinner since 2015 and never have I been disappointed with any of their dishes! save room for dessert or take it to go but you don't want to miss the desserts here! their food quality is so fresh! They have the best service and food! Thank you for all you do! Your patrons appreciate you, your quality food and service more than you may know! I miss the lobster reuben sandwich I hope it makes it way back!

Anna-caroline B.

Yelp
A Jax classic ! Their pasta specials have been great! The charcuterie board is a good price with a lot on it! Our go to dinner spot or Sunday brunch spot! There is mostly always a wait but it's worth it! Or make a reservation! If it's not hot out , sit on the street!

Stephanie A.

Yelp
Delicious dinner with a friend. We had cocktails, appetizer, entres and dessert. The appetizers we got were toasted Brie and bruschetta. It was very tasty. My friend ordered a margarita and I order an espresso martini. Entres consisted of a smash burger and a steak salad. Dessert was a key lime pie and coconut crusted cake. I loved the ambiance and the food. The server was very nice and pleasant. She was very attentive and all her recommendations were a hit!

Yelp
We were in Jacksonville for an overnight trip, and we wanted to find a place to have breakfast before heading back home. My wife found Biscottis on Yelp, so she made us reservations. Our morning plans had slightly changed due to the rainy weather in the morning, so we arrived much earlier than our reservation time. Unfortunately, they were not able to accommodate us early. Since it was only about 30 minutes, we walked around and explored the different shops along the street. We were called pretty much at our reservation time and seated. Once seated, we looked at the menu, and both quickly agreed that we should order the Baked Brie as an appetizer. We were not disappointed by any means. Wow!! Everything on this plate was delicious. The bread was tatsy and fresh, the roasted garlic was amazing, the brie was creamy and so good, and the cherries paired with the brie and garlic perfectly. For my entree, I ordered the Jumbo Crab Lump Benedict, and for my sides, I went with the Smoked Cheddar Grits and House Made Pork Sasuage. Oh man, I was in heaven!!! Everything was so good. The Benedict had the perfect flavor and balance of ingredients. The Grits were so creamy and had the perfect smokey flavor. And the sasuage was really good, it had a little sweetness to it and a nice pork flavor. I really enjoyed everything we ate and would order it all again. Our server was really good. He was on tip of everything and ensured we had what we needed and had a great time while dining. We would for sure come back. The only question is, do you try new things or go with what was so good and you already love?!?

Nikki P.

Yelp
This place is a staple! Never disappoints; from their happy hr, to their dinner, to their weekend brunch, this place always hits the spot! We usually bring our out of town friends to eat here and they're always wanting to go back! Great service, amazing desserts, and drinks!

Teresa W.

Yelp
I just love Biscotti's. The atmosphere, the food, the dessert. I mean what else can you say? Well. Parking stinks. Hubby is not patient and the circle the three blocks three times does not work for him. So beware if you have one of those. Tonight, our server was nice but seemed a bit stressed all night. They were out of all domestic light beers so that stunk for the hubby. We started with the fresh fish bite appetizer and it was not good. I ate one piece and would have sent it back but my hubby hates that. Very fishy and not cooked correctly. I love the fried zucchini sandwich and it was very good. The sweet potato fries were ok, but not great. They were very limp and not crispy at all. The hubby had the chicken Thai salad (my friends love it) but he was not impressed with the chicken preparation. He said it seemed broiled not grilled. I did take a piece of the tropical cake home to go. My favorite! An off night for us I guess.

Quentin S.

Yelp
This restaurant deveres 5 big stars everything was amazing. The atmosphere was perfect we went on christmas eve and they were playing all of the christmas songs perfect for this places atmosphere. The service was amazing food came in approximately 25 minutes for a family of 4 all of the food came out at the same time and the service was excellent everybody was very kind. The food was amazing the lasagna had perfect texture the ingredients were all cooked just right. The cake was actually amazing it was a nice texture it wasn't to sweet at all the flavor was not over powering best cake I've ever had.

Roseann S.

Yelp
The food is great, the service is great The ambiance is relaxing and inviting. Enjoy and experience your own experiences

Laura A.

Yelp
Easily my favorite salmon salad in Jacksonville. The crispy shiitake mushrooms, warm lentils and perfectly cooked salmon make for a fantastic combination. The salad also has the perfect amount of dressing. Service here is great and we were happy to be seated at a table away from the bar area. Weekends are busy here and we made sure to grab a resy this morning as we planned for the day.

Juan G.

Yelp
We just came for their dessert, as we heard their bread pudding topped with ice cream was the best! And no surprise there... It was delicious! Cool and friendly environment, the service was excellent, the waitress was attentive, quick, and on point! The place was pretty busy tonight, on a Thursday around 8:30 pm.

N W.

Yelp
Was greeted with a smile and an extreme sense of urgency. Sat at the table for a good 10 min before the server came over and says, "what do you guys want?"...it was her saying of speeding thru the service as she noticed we had menus while she finishing her other tables. Once we didn't answer right away, she then goes "I'll be back with waters" before any of us could get a sentence out. Never even got the name of the server until after placing dinner orders. Drinks took so long that we cancelled our 2nd round because it never showed up. Unfortunately, the servers have no help it seems from the BOH. Food tasted great, never saw a manager though to even say hello or ask how the place was doing.

Abigail D.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place. I had the battered fish fingers which were crispy, salty, and light. Very delicious. Now, the cakes?! Unreal. I was with a large group and we shared three large slices of their cake: Coconut, Chocolate Caramel, and Tropical. All were fluffy and perfectly sweet. My favorite were the Tropical and Coconut cakes. Service was very friendly and welcoming. I had such a great first time experience dining here. Highly recommend!

Steve L.

Yelp
The prior reviews are spot on. We came for brunch after Church on Sunday. Excellent menu to select from. Meats, sweets, carbs - you name it. We ordered some of everything. The restaurant was almost full and our food came out pretty quickly. We had really nice service with experienced wait staff. I'd try the creme brûlée with the orange honey marscapone topping. It was magnificent. This is definitely a once a month place. 15 different desserts to choose from in the way out, all the same - delish! You will love this place.

David A.

Yelp
First time dining in at Biscottis. We had had cake prior but decided to try it for lunch. Nice, welcoming interior. Casual but not too much and very clean. I ordered the Soup Du Jour that day which was a creamy chicken and it was excellent. I also ordered the skirt steak salad. The best I have ever had, anywhere. It was fresh with a perfect combination of vegetables and the cheese was soft and perfectly portioned to the salad. I don't know the particulars of how they season their steak but it was delicious and cooked medium well as I had ordered. The onion straws were thin and crisp. The perfect accent to the salad. I don't usually get that excited about a salad but I'll be getting this one again. My wife let me try her roast beef sandwich and it was delicious as well. We'll be back. Highly recommend.

Ruthie S.

Yelp
Oops they did it again I don't have pics this time But I brought some new friends to the spot and as always They loved it. It's always hard to decide which mouth drooling confection to select.

Coy M.

Yelp
Went for lunch and it was very busy! I can understand why. The food was incredible and the service was even better. We got the smash burger, salmon BLT, and espresso martinis. I'd highly recommend the stuff we ordered and we definitely plan on coming back soon.

Jen C.

Yelp
Love the brunch and dessert options here! Bread pudding here is delicious. Oh and their hash brown is top notch!

Joe M.

Yelp
Wonderful experience for our anniversary dinner. Recommended by the BnB owner. Made reservations for a Friday night which is a must. Terrific table right by a front window so able to people watch on a live music night in the downtown Terrific cocktails and zucchini fries during HH. Split a very generous salad as an app. With the thick slices of mozzarella could have been a meal in and of itself. My medallions of beef were cooked to perfection came with haystack veges and roasted garlic mashed potatoes. Cooked perfectly and scrumptious. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her vegetarian curry. Ample pours for glasses of wine and fairly priced. This place is well known for their gorgeous looking deserts but neither of us had room.

Katherine S.

Yelp
We have gradually transitioned into 'regular' customers who rarely go out to eat at other restaurants. We know we can rely on both the high quality of the food and the friendly but unobtrusive staff. (Best in class.) My favorite menu items are ... everything. But I most frequently order the vegetarian omelette and the potato side is absolutely delicious. They are always kind to my service dog, too, bringing him a big bowl of water. We never have to ask. We prefer the outside seating. Since Biscotti's stays busy, we always make reservations.

Angela M.

Yelp
When I first moved to the area every time I would dine at Biscotti's, it was impeccable. It is declined in my personal experience the last several times I've been there. The food has come out cold nearly every time. The service has most definitely declined. They're putting less attention into presentation for sure. It just seems their eye is off the ball. The desserts however remain solid and tasty as always.

Elisha S.

Yelp
Biscottis is a go-to for a GNO, birthdays, and date nights. Their desserts are yummy. The food is really good. My shrimp salad was good, but the shrimp were cold and I wish they would've been hot and fresh. I guess Burger King spoiled me with their hot, grilled chicken for their salad. lol! Pizza is always good. The price of a slice of any dessert is now $12, which seems a bit steep. I know prices are up, but at $12 a slice that is $96 out of the whole cake because they get at least 8 slices. The slices used to be bigger, too. I feel like $8 a slice is reasonable and that would be about $64 a cake, which would still bring in a solid profit. But, alas, people will definitely buy the desserts at $12 a slice because they are reliably delicious. It's made me a better baker though because $12 a slice...ehh.

Shana S.

Yelp
Biscottis has always been a favorite of mine when it came to their cakes! I used to just get cakes delivered or go in there and grab a slice but I finally went in on Tini Tuesdays and enjoyed every bit of it. And yes, I did say Tini Tuesday! On Tuesdays they have select martinis for half off and they are nice and strong! I ordered the Duval Daiquiri made with rum and it was amazing! I also ordered the fish fingers and mashed potatoes (not pictured, but so delicious!). Tuesdays at biscottis will definitely be a thing for me going forward!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I had Biscotti's for our Easter dinner. Plans got canceled so we scrambled to find a place. We were able to get a reservation pretty easy. I've eaten here for lunch and my bf has only had their cakes. Let me tell you their dinners blew us away. I had the pork chop with carmelized apple butter sauce, sautéed green beans and baked Mac & cheese. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and the sauce was superb. Loved the green beans. The Mac n cheese was ok. I would have preferred the garlic mashed potatoes instead. I feel it would have paired better with the flavorings. My boyfriend had the chicken francaise with garlic mashed potatoes and swapped the haystack veggies for the baked Mac & cheese. He loved his chicken and mashed potatoes. He also agreed the Mac and cheese was just ok. We sampled each others meals and also agreed how amazing they were. Our server was good. We did have to flag her down for a drink refill and to order cake to go but she seemed like she had a ton of tables. Maybe they were short because it was a holiday. We ordered the peanut butter mousse and the salted caramel mocha cake slices to go. Those never disappoint! I don't have pics of these.

Yelp
Got there round 8 ish had a reso for 6. They seemed a bit busy but server greeted and was attentive. Drinks and desert took a while to get to us but the apps and mains were great. Had to get the nostalgic soup sweet potato and red Pepper seems thicker than before but still very good. The franchise was great and the pork chop was also delish. Cake leave with out cake had an assortment but the tropical really is the jam. Always solid and pretty good

Yelp
Biscotti's-- what's not to love? Sorry no pics but ordering the bruschetta is a MUST- thank me later!! It's epic. Warm and soft and delicious with the extra ingredient of hidden mozzarella. All the salads are fresh and creative. Love me the Salmon Salad. There is no dessert menu, because they give you a dessert tour!!! All the desserts are ridiculous you will come back for more!! Nice variety of cold and warm sandwiches. After 5 pm they have an entree menu... lots to choose from. Delicious and creative cocktail menu. I recommend the cucumber mint sangria!! Sorry no pic! Great location in historic Avondale with all kinds of walkable shops and storefronts.

Yelp
Amazing food. We have lived in Jacksonville for 8 years and we just discovered this treasure. Food is exceptional and the cakes are world class. Will definitely be returning. We liked the Avondale location with lots of cool neighborhood businesses.

Yelp
Love Biscotti's! Had the chicken satay which is my fave and it was great, love the peanut sauce. Didn't really love the crab and artichoke fondue but love the warm Brie app! Want to try the crispy shrimp salad next time. All the desserts are good, had e peanut butter mouse pie and soooo good!

Yelp
The food was delicious and very fairly priced, I got a jumbo crab Benedict for $17-18. Our server was very attentive and checked in with us as needed.

Yelp
Service was great , and seemed to be a popular place. We arrived not long after they opened but we had reservations. What I loved most is the turkey burger patty was made in the back, not a frozen bought patty. Like most food I don't mind paying for food if it's quality. The server Ian was well versed on the desserts and they delivered. I had the red velvet cake slice for my birthday. This seems like a neighborhood gem , and if it's not it should be. People were coming in every ten-15 min. I'll willing go back. Even the mocktail was delicious.

Yelp
Late Sat morning brunch Seated at the bar immediately & quick service Ordered mimosas but unfortunately our food came 1st Mimosas were given to us as an after thought.. They were busy but we were literally sitting at the bar Still very friendly staff Would I go out of my way to eat there again? No But if I'm in the area. Yes! The desserts look good & that hashbrown would be worth it alone :) Interesting atmosphere as well
