to say these biscuits saved my weekend was an understatement. in my hazing morning glaze worsened by my terrible sense of direction the “biscuits here” sign on the front glowed like the north star. the warm smell of fresh buttermilk and coffee beans coated my nose and woke me from my sleepy slumber. The warm coffee perked me up just in time to devour every last drop of the spicy bacon biscuit with its perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and drippy ooey gooey cheddar cheese melted to perfection. my 15th inning comeback (go m’s) for the morning was that my biscuit truly outperformed the order of my co-consumer. if you’re looking for flavor look no further than the classic spicy bacon biscuit, for the meat lovers out there the lumberjack is for you. if you’re looking for the biscuit to be in seattle look no further than the “biscuits here” sign glowing bright on leary ave.

Exceed breakfast sandwich and latte. I was killing time and happened to walk by this shop. It smelled so good! This biscuit is so much better than the traditional baking powder biscuit. It has a thicker, heavier texture to it. It has a wonderful crunch to it. Perfect! Loved the latte and the very friendly service! Thank you. I'll be back!

Sooo good! The only reason why this isn’t five stars is because it’s a little pricey. I was craving some biscuits and gravy and was in the area so I decided to stop by for breakfast. I got the Ezra (a bacon, egg, and cheese, biscuit sandwich slathered in gravy) and it hit the spot. I also got their matcha latte and it was unsweetened but good, nothing special there. I definitely recommend if your in the area and are craving some comfort food for breakfast, or biscuits and gravy in general!

The biscuit sandwiches are very large and I don’t think they are easy to pick up. However, using a knife and fork to tackle was ok. The signature sandwich with the cheddar biscuit was tasty, especially the prosciutto with the sauce. While the flavor was okay, the biscuit itself was good but could have been more moist.

Been a fan of this place since they were up on 17th and 59th and am so glad they are back in Ballard. They serve some of the best indulgent breakfast sandwiches! From the Calabrian chili mayo to the house made pickled jalepenos, to the cheesy chive biscuits — everything is perfect. Every time. Love you biscuit and bean!

Cute little spot but the customer service needs work. Ordered a cheddar and onion biscuit but they rang me up a plain biscuit instead, which I didn't realize until I sat down to eat. Went back to get the right biscuit but they wouldnt switch it out for me because it wasn't what I paid for, I would have to buy another one. They also forgot to give me my drink which I had to go back and grab. The people in front of me, they were also having trouble with not getting the right food so not sure what was going on.

Delicious food and great service! Biscuits were big and I recommend getting gravy on the side if you go for a biscuit sandwich. Coffee tasted amazing. Will dine there again.

Sublimely delicious. So happy they’re back, and this location I think will be better for them in terms of foot traffic and not just as a destination as the previous one along 15th was. The signature is a glorious creation. The Mama Lil’s aioli is literally the best condiment I’ve ever had, no hyperbole. I’d put it on anything and everything. It’s fantastic. Also, never heard of prosciutto in a breakfast sandwich but I have no idea why given how well it worked. Biscuits are perfect. Fresh, fluffy, not too dense. I’m elated these guys decided to grace Ballard with their presence again.

When out walking the Ballard area, I ran into this amazing place. There are a few popular biscuit spots locally, but this place stands out. The customer service was great, the biscuits are top notch. The sweet biscuits are a must try, if not... the classic biscuit with the added honey butter won't disappoint. This location will see me again for coffeecanscbreakf

We originally were going to go to Whole Foods for breakfast, but when we arrived there wasn't any hot breakfast. Searching around the Ballard area, we found this biscuit and coffee shop. There was construction out front of the restaurant but we didn't mind having to walk a couple blocks on this fresh cool morning. The restaurant was decorated for Halloween, which was super cute and aesthetic. Nice small little shop, has room for a few tables and window bar seating. The biscuit flavors were displayed so we could be wowed by the size of them. We both ordered the signature, white cheddar, prosciutto, scrambled eggs, mixed greens and mama lill's pepper aioli. I got mine on the Italian herb biscuit and my partner had his on the cheddar and green onion biscuit. We also ordered Two sides of the sausage gravy. Next time, one side of the gravy is enough for both of us. We also ordered a caramel latte and matcha latte with oat milk and honey. We didn't have to wait long for our order. Our drinks were the perfect temperature and sweetness. The barista did a wonderful job. We took our sandwiches to the Ballard Locks to enjoy while we watched the ships . The biscuit sandwiches were amazing. The biscuit it self was flavorful, and soft , but it was hardy enough that it held the sandwich together. The aioli was the star that pulled all of the flavors of the prosciutto, egg, mixed greens and cheddar together with the biscuit. The gravy was thick, luscious, big chunks of sausage throughout. Spooned on top of each bite of the sandwich was perfect. What a great way to start a morning. Will definitely be coming back to try to the rest of the menu.

Loved their multiple and customizable options! You can pick biscuits and toppings in such a great way. The drinks were also really solid too. The bathroom is decorated in cryptid, which is awesome, and there's a little vending machine with dad jokes for a quarter lol. Friendly and helpful staff and absolutely plan to come back!

My favorite foodie news of the summer was definitely the reopening of Biscuit & Bean. Always worth a drive from, gasp "the Eastside", or even better, a side trip while already anywhere in Seattle. And YES!! B &B's biscuits are just as delicious and huge as they used to be. So of course I bought extra to take home. Yep, definitely still Seattle's best biscuit!! Welcome back Biscuit and Bean, so happy you returned

After being a loyal patron of Biscuit and Bean from their time on 15th/59th, I was thrilled to hear of their return. And I was not disappointed. These folks haven't missed a beat. The food here is nothing short of perfect and it was a privilege to eat it again. Plus, their new location is in the walkable heart of Ballard and feels much roomier. While they get up to speed they're only open a few days of the week until 2 pm, but this is well worth planning into your day. The biscuits are light and fluffy with gorgeous layers. The mushroom gravy is rich and savory, and I choose a spoon to get as much as possible into each bite. I opt to top mine with a runny egg and pickled jalapenos to complete this masterpiece. It lit up every taste bud I have.

Got the basic B with a side of pepper aioli (highly recommend). Honestly this was super filling and definitely is good in size. I'd say to add some spice by making the aioli chipotle or something else. The biscuits weren't dry but I usually like them a little more buttery, they were really great and not too crumby either! There's a bunch of people really excited about these biscuits, so maybe I just don't like biscuits? Partner liked his fine; I was disappointed. I had the Classic with a sausage patty, teen had biscuit and gravy, partner had the Signature. Pros: - the biscuit was warm and seemed fresh - the tea was loose leaf - the teen enjoyed his biscuit and gravy - Coffee was good (drip with cream) Neutrals: - not a lot of seating, but possible to snag a table - bit of a wait but cashier was also making drinks as part of taking orders, so that slowed things down, we also got there at a busy time - choice of 2 biscuits for most things - the biscuit was huge. For me this made the biscuit-to-toppings ratio unsatisfactory; for you it might be awesome. - very few fresh vegetable/fruit options on the menu; that's probably par for the course here. Cons: - the biscuit was DRY and not buttery or flaky - the sausage patty was dry - the egg was dry (there's a theme here!) - there was not enough cheese - there was no butter on the table to improve matters - the "tomato jam" was on the side in a plastic container, so I had to add it myself - this kindof wound up being a good thing, because it tasted like ketchup gone wrong. This was the only thing I actively disliked. - the presentation overall was pretty beige - partner's sandwich was supposed to come with greens and there were hardly any. - Side order of two bacon strips came in a plastic cup, and looked like it was one strip cut in two. In any case it was a tiny amount. - All components were a little underseasoned. Because my partner loves biscuits, and he thought these were a 4, I may go again. I might try the biscuit and gravy next time, or just get a biscuit and spread (though with the huge size of the biscuit I'm worried about the spread-to-biscuit ratio). I do not recommend getting the Classic. It's not classic. It's dry and boring.

The best biscuit and gravy I have ever had. No exaggerating here. I wish the biscuit I had was freshly baked but the gravy is to die for. So happy I got to try this place. Service was really amazing as well. They were nice and patient with all customers. Can't wait to have breakfast from here again.

So good! The bacon relish is a must. The biscuits were moist inside crisp outside and unbelievably yum with eggs and cheese. Wait time was pretty quick. Lines form all day. Portions are pretty generous, and juice is fresh.

Review from 10yo: Great food the biscuits are amazing I got the classic and it is a 10/10 also got the Arnold Palmer very refreshing but just a little sour still would go 10 times a week. Review from dad: Superb flavor. Perfect size sandwich. Vibes on point. Live, Laugh, Love!!!

Amazing food, friendly staff, and a fun vibe! I got the biscuit sandwich covered in gravy and it was one of the best biscuits I've had in a while! I love trying different biscuits and gravy so that is high praise. Pro tip: get the jalapeños to go on top for a little spice. I also got a mocha which was delish. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

It doesn't matter why they left because they're back! Ben, the owner, was working in the kitchen, so we told him how we're so excited. I had The Signature on Cheddar Chive biscuit and Thai Tea. My friend had Biscuit and Gravy Split on Cheddar Chive Biscuit and Cardamom Latte. Everything tastes exactly the same....SO GOOD!!!! I'm excited to revisit the rest of the menu. Please don't ever leave again!!!
