Visited Bisou on Sunday to celebrate my birthday with a group of family. We made a reservation and anticipated and they seated us immediately (point in favor). The service was bad we been seated for about 10 minutes and any of the server came even when there were about 10 in the restaurant. Finally someone came and served us at least she was the only friendly one. The place is super chic and quite elegant. Don't be fooled by the decor. The food was OK, we ordered HANGOVER CURE (this one was good), Chicken and Waffle (terrible the chicken tasted like old and dry oil, the waffles had no flavor at all and the syrup portion is minimal) and The Salmon (4/ 10). I feel like they need to work a lot on the quality of the food. The mimosas were good and were served on time, the guys in charge of the water, you are the best in the place. Valet service is available for $9 per vehicle. In general, I had high expectations of this place, which is why I celebrated my birthday here, but it was good, I really doubt that I will return.

Google
Outstanding restaurant with two pet peeves, which I'll get out of the way first. I hate it when a high-end restaurant can't provide a physical menu. It's extremely annoying. Secondly, the restaurant is kind of plain in looks. Now, the prejudice I have is that I don't care for the modern style, which this restaurant is in buckets. Now for the important part, the food and service. Both were superior in every form. My congratulations to our server and the food presentation in particular. I had a pot-sticker like appetizer, followed by lobster bisque and finally rack of lamb. The rack was truly amazing.

Google
Celebrated my birthday here and we had a great time. The interior decor is absolutely beautiful. Our waiter was super cool. The music was fun and festive. The bathroom is really small and the lines can be pretty long. The food is okay. But I would go back for a fun time for sure.

This is a Cool little Brunch Spot. Food was Great!!! Customer Service is Fantastic. It coast 10$ to park in front of the Restaurant. It's free parking in the parking garage about two blocks away, so keep that in mind. Only thing I didn't like was that the Music was to loud for brunch. #eatwitkei

Brunch review on a Sunday. Interior: Classy, Luxurious, Clean, Lighting Parking: Valet available for $9 or free nearby parking. Valet is more convenient. Cocktail selection: loved the El Diablo. Has ginger ale in it. Tastes refreshing. Also had a Mojito. Not on the menu but should be because the bar tender made it with passion I could tell. Tasted amazing. Meal: I had the chicken and waffles. 🤤 it was delicious. Met my expectations. The chicken was crispy breast pieces and wasn’t dry at all. Waffles were soft and the dusted sugar was a light but good touch. The syrup tied it all together pretty well. Did not care for the fruits but nice to have and the added seasoned potatoes was a nice extra surprise. Waiter: Our waiter was giving high end. Honestly should be a model. His service was the best I’ve had in my restaurant experience. Attentive, perfect timing, articulate, informative, professional, patient, resourceful. He was in my opinion too good for this restaurant. I guess they only hire the best. Best to have a reservation! More convenient and you get seated much faster. RECOMMEND.

Google
Top notch experience starting with the valet service. Excellent service! Professional, courteous & friendly staff. The cocktails were great. But the food was amazing! I ordered the filet mignon and it was perfectly cooked - medium! Loved my experience here in an awesome atmosphere and ambiance.

Google
Sunday Brunch is amazing, the environment the outdoor is lovely there’s a jazzy DJ that play a mixer of great music for the atmosphere. They have a Saturday night when they turn into a little dance floor which is awesome and so much fun had a blasted for Chinese Néw celebration. Love this place. Perfect location right in the heart of River Oak/ Highland Village. Check it out. You want regret it

Google
I returned to try food during restaurant week because I enjoyed the upscale vibe at this place. So glad I did because the food was superb! Very classy, authentic flavors. Our waitress wasn’t incredibly attentive but it was pretty busy Sat night. Lot of birthdays, a bride tribe and med student celebrating. Yes music is loud but it gets you dancing, fun night!

Yelp
Miss the old cooks. I have been going often since they opened 4-5 years ago. I loved the prior cooks , the food seemed like luxurious home style dishes . Now the filet mignon has bacon& gravy and the mash potatoes are brown with too much garlic . Overall the prices are good and the new taxes don't bother me as the food is affordable. Tomahawk , strip steak , crabcake, and cheesecakes are all great ! I would highly recommend, very clean , very friendly

Yelp
Despite living around the corner, I'd never been to Bisou but that was purposeful. I never cared for whatever vibe they were trying to go for so it never was on my list. However, my friend wanted us to check it out on a Saturday night so I obliged. Valet was $10 which is decent for the 4444 Westheimer strip and it was a busy night at that. We grabbed two seats at the bar and had the loveliest bartender who took care of us the whole night. Bisou, like Ciel and Se7en, has way too much going on. The thirst for these Houston establishments to be like Vegas is comical. Between the signs, the unnecessarily loud music, sub zero temps, I just can't. The gimmicks are meant to distract you from the mediocre food. The crab fried rice tasted like it was made with water from Galveston beach and the sushi tasted old. The lemon drop was good though and she even re-made it to my liking. I was annoyed because when I checked in on Yelp, it said I could get a free salmon roll. The bartender had no qualms, marked it as used and the roll came. However, as we were cashing out, she let me know that her manager told her that deal expired but she gave me a free drink to make up for it. I appreciated her doing that but the management team NEEDS to remove the offer then. SMH.

Judy C.

Yelp
3/5 mainly because of service. Reservations were made ahead of time. It took 15 minutes to get greeted & darn near 35 minutes for our drinks to come out after ordering. I literally saw the bartenders just standing around On their phones and chatting to each other. And about 40 minutes for the food to arrive. It wasn't a packed night either. For drinks, got a class marg with tajin on the rim. It was great! Small portion though. We came for the HRW menu. For apps, got the lamb chops (very tender and juicy and paired great with the chimichurri) and the crab cakes (pretty average). For main, got the surf and turf (cooked nicely to a medium rare and lobster tail was nice with the melted butter) and the pork chops (surprisingly quite juicy! Very tasty). For dessert, got the tres leches (really good) and the red velvet cake. Ambiance was very fancy and modern. Very bougie-esq. Restrooms - clean and had a attendant Parking - $9 valet or free garage parking with a little walk within the river oaks plaza But mainly service was not good.

Yelp
Bisou, nestled in the vibrant River Oaks area of Houston, continues to captivate my heart as the epitome of chic and upscale dining. For me, it's not just a restaurant; it's an experience I eagerly anticipate, particularly during their splendid brunch and dinner offerings. As a devotee of American cuisine, Bisou's menu reads like a love letter to culinary excellence. Among my personal favorites are the Steak and Eggs, a hearty and savory masterpiece that satisfies both cravings and cravings for quality. The Crab Cakes are a true indulgence, flawlessly balanced in taste and texture, making each bite a revelation. For those seeking an unforgettable brunch dish, the Chicken and Waffles stand out as a symphony of flavors. The marriage of tender chicken and fluffy waffles is nothing short of sublime. But that's not all--Bisou's creativity shines with the Crab Fried Rice, a fusion of delectable seafood and fragrant rice that showcases their culinary prowess. And then, there's the honorable mention that almost deserves a spotlight of its own: the Creme Brulee Cheesecake. A harmonious blend of two beloved desserts, this creation is a testament to Bisou's innovative spirit. Each spoonful is a journey through velvety cheesecake and the delicate crunch of bruleed sugar. The culinary experience is elevated by the enchanting ambiance that surrounds you. The stylish decor and upscale atmosphere make you feel like you've stepped into a world of refinement. Even the live DJ sessions that occasionally grace the space add a layer of vibrancy that's hard to resist. I've taken the liberty of attaching some photos to this review to showcase not just the dishes but also the overall aura of Bisou. Trust me, the pictures are just a glimpse of the beauty that awaits you. Bisou has truly mastered the art of merging American cuisine with elegance. Whether it's a leisurely brunch with friends or a special celebration, this establishment continues to exceed expectations and leave a lasting impression.

Yelp
I wasn't quite sure of the vibe that I was expecting inside, but it was very lively with loud music and occasional LED lights flashing. We made a reservation but ended up being late due to traffic from the Rockets game, and the restaurant was still able to accommodate us. We ordered the Dragon Maki roll and crab cakes to start, which were delicious. For entrees, we got the salmon orzo and shrimp fettuccine. Overall 10/10 with the food and drinks. My only complaint is that I checked in on Yelp and had an offer for a free sushi roll to redeem, but the waiter was unsure if he could let me redeem. He said he was going to check with a manager and then said he would send a manager to talk to us but no one ever came so the offer was wasted.

Yelp
This was my second time at Bisou and it wasn't much different than my first time around in regards to the food. I came on a Saturday night this time for a birthday dinner. The waiter was very pleasant and did a great job with our big party of about 14 people. I ordered the smoked salmon sushi, the Redfin with crab and a Long Island. The sushi was good. The Redfin wasn't bad but I wasn't expecting the crab to be mushed like boudin. I was expecting crab lumps so that took away from my experience but I took my food home and ate it the next day and it wasn't bad. The Long Island was good but not very strong. They are wee playing music and had gogo dancers. It's very much like a club as they have these super bright neon lights that shine throughout the night (lowkey it was pretty annoying and was making people dizzy/get headaches) and the DJ plays really loud techno/house music.

Yelp
We made a reservation which wasn't really needed because the restaurant was virtually empty . The hostess didn't answer the phone , and when we inquired the hostess stated she just got to the restaurant? The restaurant is beautiful , great potential to be a nice vibe but this was a one star visit for me and my friends . This is not a place for sunday brunch at all. This is a place to get drinks after work and that's about it . Our table was sticky and dirty, one of the high top chairs was dirty . Even though there was someone cleaning up , was off putting at such a beautiful establishment . Our server Eric was nice and polite , came over immediately after we were seated . We wanted to get water as we were planning to drink and we asked for still water. Then we were told there was no still water available , only sparkling water ? So in a empty restaurant on a sunday there's no water ? My friend ordered an espresso and it was cold. calamari didn't have much flavor , cheese was barely melted . Fries were the only thing that was okay . All in all , I wouldn't return to this place.

Yelp
10/10 food and experience during Houston Restaurant Week! I would definitely go back. Lemon drop was great!

Yelp
Super loud!! Went on a Friday and it was dead. They played some good music i guess. We didn't stay long. There was a photobooth that had you enter your email to get the pix but they were never emailed. :(

Yelp
We came to Bisou to celebrate my grand daughters 21st birthday! The music and ambience was very energetic, along with the wait staff. Food: We started with the crab cakes which were really good. I had the ribeye and I can't say I enjoyed it ,but the sides were good. All and all, it was a good evening with family and friends celebrating.

Just Ki ..

Yelp
Service: This was my first visit and I wasn't impressed. My party called to advise we were running behind for our reservation and no one answered numerous times. Once we arrived and let the hostess know we tried calling, she said "That was me, I just got here." For Sunday Brunch, the place was empty. That should've been a clue. Food: The Calamari was salty and meh. The Truffle Fries were cool. The Espresso was cold. Drinks: N/A Overall the restaurant is nice inside and has potential to be a good vibe but I probably won't return. Eric our server was pleasant though.

Yelp
I always have a good tine at Bisou. Nice atmosphere, good food, good drinks and ok eye candy

Yelp
Came here with brunch with my girls ! It's a cute place. My friends and I were the first ones there but they won't seat you until your whole party is there. Kinda annoyed because no one was there but us for a good 30 mins. The decor is nice but definitely can see it giving club vibes at night. Creme brûlée French toast was a 10/10 The sides potatoes 8/10 Fruit was okay only because I don't like melon Crab beniets 10/10 very flavorful and they give you four so I appreciate that! Mocktail I asked for sweet and I got sour so a 2/10 Service is pretty good 7.5/10 A good place to bring the girls for brunch

Brittany W.

Yelp
Came to Bisou for a graduation dinner. It was six of us dining. As far as ambiance, decor, and service, Bisou does not disappoint. Unfortunately, they fell short for me with the food and cocktails. I ordered a vodka cocktail (watermelon something) and it tasted like a mock-tail. Two others in my group had the same comment. For dinner I had the house smoked salmon fettuccine. The flavors didn't mesh well together. Also ordered the cupcakes on the Ferris wheel, the cupcakes were dry. When I checked in on Yelp, I did get a free salmon roll and that was good. Also the crab cake beignets were tasty too. If I came back, it'd be for the party atmosphere and wine--no cocktails. Visited on a Friday and there was a DJ.

Brooke R.

Yelp
This place has a absolutely beautiful decor. The esthetic of the design brings polish, clean, rich vibe. It's something about good food and great music playing in the background that brings me back to being in either Miami or Las Vegas. The vibe that Bisou bring makes you feel like you are in another city for sure! I will definitely be back. Karla thank you for great service.

Jessica T.

Yelp
This place is a must-try when in Houston. Great for brunch and/or dinner with friends or with your significant other. The service is spectacular. Friendly staff that are very attentive yet give you sufficient space to enjoy your meal and company. The food and drinks are even more phenomenal. As a shareable for 3, we had the crispy calamari (great if you also like crispy onions to go with it) and the jumbo lump crab beignets, which come in pairs of 4. For dinner, my table had steak and french toast with fried chicken. I had the pleasure of enjoying the pan-seared crab cake benedict. The food not only looked amazing but it also tasted amazing and appeared to have minimum oil/grease. Definitely, a revisit whenever I'm in Houston, Tx!

Jasmine T.

Yelp
My friends and visited on a Saturday night for a birthday dinner. I ordered the quarter chicken with veggies and potatoes. I wish the chicken had a bit more seasoning but it was great overall. The restaurant is beautiful, service was great, and I'd reccomend. Very nice for a celebration or date night.

Yelp
I've been to Bisou on a few occasions. The same owners of Kiss & Clé. Some birthday parties, special events, & now for their brunch. Bisou is a great spot if you wanna live your best Beverly Hills/River Oaks life lol. It's in the River Oaks fashion district as I'll call it. Next to Steak 48 and other fabulous/fancy restaurants such as itself. I join my girlfriends on their patio for brunch. I ordered the Queen Bisou for my drink & their chicken & waffles for my meal. The drink was basically a mimosa with a frozen fruit ball inside for about $15. What you see in the photo is exactly what you will get. That 1/4 of champagne and fruit. Plus you'll be looking crazy trying to get to the fruit as it's frozen solid lol. I just wouldn't order that drink at all next time. I like my mimosas filled to the rim. My chicken & waffles were the only meal that came with a bit more to eat than just the entree for its price. The chicken was seasoned well and tasted great. The waffles did not compliment it. Was so plain & basic. Just a dry taste and the syrup didn't help. I'd prefer to eat elsewhere. They did have a DJ with a saxophonist which seems to be their signature vibes. I just recommend going here for the vibes & party.

Beverly U.

Yelp
Came here for a post-valentines day brunch (since we didn't get a chance to celebrate during the week). Came in and it looked surprisingly slow and empty for brunch around 2p on a Saturday. Once entering, was a booth where a door greeter might be and direct you to where to sit...but no one was there. I say this because it's supposed to be an upscale restaurant and I think someone should always be there. We decided to sit at the bar, since no one was really sitting at the tables. The ambience of the place was definitely Instagram worthy. There were marble tables with whitish, gray chairs, gold silverware, and elegant decorations everywhere. I was quite hungry, but my partner was not and was just going to delay his food order until a little later... We figured we would be there for a bit just to relax and chill. I ordered the Hangover Cure and got my food literally in 5 mins. Makes me think this was heated up. When trying the potatoes and the sandwich, the were decently cooked but there was absolutely no seasoning. I was so unimpressed with the food that I told my partner not to order a to-go meal and he should just grab another drink. Wish this met my upscale brunch recommendations.

Emely A.

Yelp
Ive been here 3 different times, all on Thursday nights i believe. Food was amazing, drinks were delicious, but of course the ambiance is always 10/10. Our waitresses have always been great and attentive. One time there was a pretty big mistake on the tab but once we pointed it out, the waitress apologized and fixed it. The aesthetic of Order the mushroom risotto - SO SO GOOD.

Brittany O.

Yelp
Bisou and Cle Group will not get anymore of my money. That's it. That's the review. Keep reading if you care to know more. Unless you fit the mold for the type of women & men they like in their establishment (see their marketing photos), good luck getting good service. The manager, Marteen, attempted to act like he cared but his facial expressions told a different story. He comped a very small part of our meal when what we really wanted was for him to address our server's behavior for us. We had no problem paying for the food we ate and didn't ask for a discount. So what happened? Let me tell you! Once our party of 7 sat down (we had a reservation), our server Anthony came by to take drink orders and later to take appetizer orders. I noticed that I had a free salmon roll offer from checking in on Yelp so I ordered it and showed him my offer to ensure there would be no issues on the bill. He acknowledged it and we went about eating and enjoying our evening. At some point, Anthony got tired of us! Someone who couldn't attend sent my friend a bottle and cupcakes for her birthday and that extended our visit longer than it probably would have been. We asked what flavor the cupcakes were and Anthony said he didn't know...didn't offer to find out or anything and walked off. When he came back we had to ask for plates and silverware (because dinner had been cleared) and we asked him to find out the cupcake flavor that he told us he thought was pineapple. He came back with plates and forks and said it was carrot cake. I guess allergies mean nothing to Bisou. He also brought the check that no one asked for. One check for all of us. I'm normally one to throw my card in but something told me to examine the check. We were charged for the items previously paid for!And my salmon roll was on the check...surprise. By the time he took everything off, our bill was over $300 less. That's insane. It may have been an honest mistake but Anthony was careless with us and just wanted us gone so I don't believe it was. I know he was tired of us because after he brought the accurate check he told us we have 10 minutes left because our table had a reservation and he walked off again. Well, that did it folks. Just cash me out and have a nice life sir. My party wasn't happy about it at all so that's when the manager was asked to come over. We finally got our cards back after checking out and Anthony brought us no pens. Again, he was tired of us! Imagine making over $800 off a table and rushing them out. There was no time limit stated in our reservation AND the manager said our table didn't have a time limit either. So again, I won't be back here or anywhere owned by Cle Group because this type of treatment has been a pattern over the years and I refuse to put another dime in their pockets. It's too bad because I LOVE one of their newer establishments in Houston. But last night showed me who they are and I 100% believe them! Enjoy!

Yelp
Hi yelpers, I had dinner at Bisou yesterday to celebrate a friends birthday dinner. The ambiance was chic and the crowd began to gather more and more after 9pm. My waiter was I believed named Renner and he provided excellent service. He was also training another young lady so we were able to experience top tier service due to him modeling expectations and practices. For my cocktail, I ordered the espresso martini which was strong and very tasty. Bisou does have a 3 course Houston Restaurant Week (HRW) menu so I decided to try it. For my appetizer I ordered the lamb chops. They came with 3 lamb chops which were juicy and the chimichurri sauce was delicious on top. My main course I ordered the pork chop. It came with a side of macaroni and cheese baked with andouille sausage. The portions were a nice size and I was not able to finish my main course due to me trying to leave room for desert. For desert I had the red velvet cake which was yummy. All in all I enjoyed my meal and my time at Bisou.

Tamika B.

Yelp
Okay so look I'm going to recommend this spot but with some caveats, lol. I went for brunch it wasn't overly crowded, I enjoyed the short ribs and cheese grits, my martini expresso was delicious, the decor was lovely, and the live band was a fun touch. Now for the reason they probably don't have a higher rating. The bar tender was prompt-ish. The food was very prompt. But they weren't very friendly or welcoming so it kind of felt like I was a bother just to order my food and a cocktail. The second reason may be the food. My friend ordered steak and eggs. I tried her steak and it was kind of bland and tough, one bite was enough. The third reason is probably the price to experience ratio. With tip I spent $60 and $9 to park.

Chris P.

Yelp
TLDR: Overpriced, slow service, meh food. Go for drinks, but skip the dining. Only good note: tasty drinks albeit very light pour. The food was lackluster, notably the salty calamari and the cold tomahawk steak - it seemed very well rested. Also, service was slow.. I get that it was a busy Saturday night, but I can't imagine it taking 30 mins to box leftovers and bring the check. Shout out to our server tho! That man needs a raise because he definitely upsold us. We ordered the flounder ceviche and asked if it would be possible to add some shrimps. Our server said he can add some cocktail shrimp and we were delighted that he could accommodate us. Little did we know, we were charged for a full order of cocktail shrimps for what seems to be 2-3 shrimps cut up in our ceviche. To his point, he did say the key words "add cocktail shrimp" so, fair play. Our server also convinced us to order the double (large) tomahawk steak instead of the single, stating that large would be better for the party of 3. I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have finished even the single, but once again fair play as it's his job to upsell. To cap it all of, our bill came with the "customary gratuity of 20% (will be) added to parties of 6 or more guests or on full bottles ordered." We were confused as our party consisted of only 3, BUT our server did recommended a FULL 187ml bottle of Rosa Regale (see picture). Although we were definitely bitter about tonight, you got to clap it up for our server for exemplifying TACTICAL service. Well played good sir, well played.

Grace D.

Yelp
So. This place is really okay. People come here for the vibe, to be seen and people watch because of its location. They do have a nice outdoor seating. Service was great! Our server was attentive and nice... three stars because the food. It's mediocre and overpriced. Way over priced and taste was okay. I wouldn't pay that much for a crab fried rice that we barely ate. Their tartare was good though but mains were average. Plating is cute but again go elsewhere in RO district for the price point. But again, I think people just come there for the drinks and vibes.

Char I.

Yelp
This is a very very peculiar restaurant... I don't get the tacky lighting and bottle girls with streamers...Are we in a club?? So my friend invited me to this place for dinner. I honestly should have stayed at home lol. Let's start with valet. You have to valet your car at the neighboring restaurant, then walk 4 score and 20 years over to bisou. Like what is going on?? Why is valet not at the entrance of the restaurant?? When you walk in apparently the 3 unskilled workers and a man wearing a poorly fitted suit are just pedestrians hanging out at the entrance because when I entered the place no greeting, or anything. So I walk in and locate my friend who was already there waiting. Service was blah. Waiter was okay. I tried this champagne sangria type drink it was pretty good. However for $15 you only get like a sip worth. Can you fill my glass please?? I ordered the salmon. It took exponentially long for us to recieve our ordered. And of course when I finally get my food it is unseasoned and bland. Also the color of the salmon is indictive of farm raised salmon . Definitely was not wild caught. You would think they would serve wild caught salmon. Anyway it was very fishy and did not taste fresh. For $31 I definitely expect better. Overall a very underwhelming undesirable experience. I should have known it would be a low rent experience when I saw they were bumming their valet from another restaurant. I won't be back.

Yelp
Wow, first time at Bisou and had an INCREDIBLE time. My girlfriends and I came here for a Friday night dinner. We had outdoor reservations at 7:45, but once we got there we loved the ambiance inside. Thankfully, the hostesses were very accomodating and had an open bar top table available. The ambiance in here is 10/10. Stunning bar, marble tables, gorgeous accents, ambient lighting, music, upscale environment. This is just the perfect spot for a date night, girl's night out, or celebration. They have lots of seating, including an outdoor patio, bar tops, bar seating, 10+ table tops, booths, and a secluded table experience for parties. Just be sure to make reservations in advance! The staff was excellent. Very quick and kind and knowledgeable about their new menu changes. We ordered the shishito peppers, dumplings, and Brussel sprouts for starts. Wasn't very impressed with the dumplings, but the greens were as expected. They have a robust spirit/wine/cocktail menu, including table bottle service (complete with a light show if you're into that kind of thing)!! I ended up ordering the Houston Maki roll, which was AMAZING. Especially considering this isn't a full Japanese menu, I was impressed with their sushi options. My friends ordered rolls and also the red snapper entree. I took a bite and it was fantastic!! At around 9pm, things amp up a notch. A DJ starts playing around 10 and the restaurant turns much more into a bar/club atmosphere. Very crowded near the bar with dancing. We had a BLAST - after we finished eating, we left our table and just mingled by the bar and DJ. I ended up meeting the manager Michael, who was fantastic and so welcoming. Always a nice touch to see the manager on the floor and active with their staff/customers. He was very attentive, and I can tell cares about the customer's experince! My only complaint was that the music was SO loud during dinner. I get having the music loud after 9pm, but we could barely hear ourselves talk at our 7:45 reservation. The women's restroom also has a bathroom attendant with toiletries/mints/etc. That's always a nice touch! Can't wait to come back!!

Yelp
Bisou has an amazing ambience with friendly service, but the food is so overpriced considering the quality that I would not comeback.

Kurt R.

Yelp
Been here several times for special events, and it's my daughter's favorite place to go to celebrate her birthday, but we won't be going back after last night's experience. Food quality has gone down while cost to eat here has gone up. Lamb chops were mostly fat for $54. 20% gratuity automatically added to check AND an additional 4% fee for paying with credit card. What?!

Yelp
The atmosphere is nice and upscale. Great place for a date night. The drinks are good and the bartender was very friendly and entertaining. The food was good, however the dessert was great, and maybe overshadowed the food a little. Overall we enjoyed it, and would definitely go back again.

Yelp
We came for brunch. Food was cold and we were begging for service. We had the chicken and waffles which appeared old / not fresh though chicken was seasoned.

Yelp
We came in for brunch at 11am and the location looked closed. Their door is a solid gold and all the valet cones were taking up the spots, but no valet. I called to inquire about valet because I currently have some severe back issues and there is no other nearby parking. They said valet did not start until 4PM. The garage parking is free and not far for those who are not injured or handicapped. When I got back to the restaurant valet had started. When we first arrived the restaurant was freezing, but as people came in and the Rosé hit it became more comfortable. Bring a jacket if coming at opening in fall/winter. Server was super nice and accommodating, but not that attentive. Server staffing could have been an issue, but three ladies were at the hostess stand and a few other roles sitting at the bar. I got the carpaccio and truffle frites. Both were good and nice portions. I asked for a little bit more of the dressing used on the arugula. We asked for salt and pepper, but on carpaccio I don't want to do pre-cracked pepper. Wish they had aioli options, but the fries were still cooked perfect and not too heavy on the truffle. They were also accommodating for my friends order and making adjustments. In short, place is a good atmosphere location, good food but not amazing and just missing some of the small things that would make the plate prices easier to swallow.

Yelp
Very nice upscale venue. First time here and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was fast, mostly courteous. I'm not a fan of the hostess placing your menus on the table and walking away before you're seated. Especially at this level of restaurant. However, she was friendly. The servers brought the food quickly and kept the table cleared quickly. I really enjoyed the fresh flowers on the table and the low lighting. I did have to use my phone to read my menu though My party ordered the red fish, Brussel sprouts, sushi, lobster ravioli and a Caesar salad, along with a glass of Moscato and Voss water. Everything was very tasty! However, I am one to normally eat the skin of the fish after it's been cooked. I want the nutrients. But, I don't do scales!!! This almost took me out!!! Why leave the scales?! I made it through once I was aware. So y'all been warned. Outside of this everything was great. I really appreciated the help of the lady attending in the restroom. The handicapped stall was out of order, she made sure I was okay and even assisted me getting out. I am most grateful for her help. Note: Parking is a distance, but some handicap parking is available closer. If you want a nice little relaxed romantic upscale spot this is a nice place. Maybe not for children, due to a topless picture on the wall. Sorry folks no pictures of that.‍

Yelp
I can't believe I never posted my review. Visit here for my friends daughter birthday. Which was awesome vibes. The only flaw was no separate checks at this establishment. You will have to divide up the payment on your own. I want to say they will accept multiple payments (cards for individuals purchases). Visit again on a date night for drinks Clase Azul is served here as well. Very smooth selection

Yelp
The hottest lounge/restaurant in town! The food is always amazing and the waiters treat you so well! This place gets packed fast but it's packed full of professionals so that's always nice.

Yelp
An elegant restaurant for happy hour or dinner, it's beautiful inside and the food options were great. The drinks were strong but flavorful. Great customer service. Don't come in jeans and a T-shirt/casual. I believe they have a dress code

Yelp
Group of 4 had brunch on a weekend. It wasn't crowded which was surprising. The food came out in a timely manner. Our server was polite. The food was good but nothing really stood out. The drinks were good but not strong. It has a trendy ambiance for those looking for an IG experience. Nothing about this place is appealing enough to return.

Yelp
I had a VERY great experience here. Visited with my best friend and the whole experience was nice! The food is a 10 we enjoyed it all. We made reservations and had a table in between the bar area and DJ booth. This place gets SUPER packed around 10pm so make sure to make a reservation or you will be standing all night. I believe after a certain hour there is a table fee bc when I looked at my bill it said $75 table fee. We did not mind paying bc we were glad to have a comfortable nice place to sit during the busy hours. The only thing I didn't like was the DJ only played techno. Got kind of annoying but the vibe from the ppl still made the night enjoyable.

Yelp
Bisou means kiss in French. If you, like me, have ever been to France you know there's a lot of that going around, lol! I think this place is cute and adorable. I'd probably give it a 3.5 but I round up to 4 because I would come again for happy hour. The latter in the evening it gets the classy decorum turns into flashing lights and the scantily clad hostess and waiters become bottle girls which is kind of hilarious and awkward at the same time. I hope they are paying them well for the double gigs. We started off with the El Diablo drink. We both got it. It was a little weak for me so I ordered another shot of Patron. It was supposed to have Patrin, creme de cassis, and ginger beer, maybe orange liquor. It was good, just not strong. We started off with the crab beignets. They were fried light and full of crab but very, very filling. We both got different rolls. The lobster maki roll with tempura lobster claw, the spider roll with soft shell crab, the spicy shrimp roll, and the shaggy dog roll. All were very tasty and appreciate temperature. I would love to have them again. The bread pudding with pecan ice cream, caramel and berries was phenomenal except mine was only warm in the middle so they make it then warm it in the microwave instead of keeping it in a warm chafing dish. So, could have been a little better. I'll be back with the crew. It's a cute restaurant!

Yelp
I have visited Bisou twice, once for Sunday brunch and once for dinner on a Thursday evening. Brunch was nice, there was a saxophonist, the food was good and the vibe was nice. The saxophonist was an entire vibe all by himself, he was really good! The vibe and crowd were totally different in the evening. The restaurant was dimly lit for dinner and as the evening went on it started to give me Miami vibes. The decor is vibrant and modern and both times the restaurant was very clean. This is a great place for special occasions, especially birthdays.

Yelp
We came here with my mom and her boyfriend. We quickly ran up $400. So roughly $100 per person. Everyone enjoyed their food; the redfish was easily the best thing we had, but unfortunately everything else was just ok. Our server was very kind, but I did not know this and was surprised when a random person who worked there showed up and told us our "time was up." We spent $400 and were asked to leave? Huh.. yep, probably won't be back. It was a good one time experience but Houston has a ton of wonderful restaurants. It's also very loud here.

Yelp
Food was amazing with a super fun atmosphere. We got the calamari which was crispy and delicious with slightly spicy aioli and marinara dipping sauces. Then shared the mixed kabobs...beautiful presentation and definitely enough for two. Finished things off with a chocolate molten lava cake (forgot exactly what it was called) with ice cream and blueberries. The dessert was smaller then I expected but still reasonable to share after dinner. The menu is extensive with so many tempting appetizers, burgers, entrees, sushi, raw bar. I would love to try almost everything on there! The only reason I'm giving four stars is the music was wayyyy too loud! Very difficult to hold a conversation and my Apple Watch kept showing 80 decibels which confirms it was too loud. If we go back, we'll request to sit outside.

Yelp
Pros -.super pretty and very IG friendly Food was delicious- The crab beignets were fried but soft and super fluffy, and the crab tasted delicious. We also got the creme brulee. It was delicious as well - but a little too sweet The 3 egg omelette was standard filled with cheese. Their potato side was really good and had these nice caramelized onions. - rinner was our server and was on it. Cons - Food was good but not GREAT. I can see how it can come across as pretentious. We came super early on a weekend & looking at this place pretty empty...while it does feel like tables are about 6 ft apart, people sitting at the tables, walking around definitely can make this place feel super full. that being said, they do have a pretty extensive outdoor and heaters for night time. Overall a sold 4 for good food, ambiance and service !

Yelp
Made brunch reservations for our girls date, and it was great. Reservations were for 12pm but we got there 15 minutes early and they sat us right away. Love the vibe and general anesthetic, definitely a cute spot. The service was wonderful and so was the food and drinks. We shared the Short Rib and Girts but subbed the grits for breakfast potatoes and that was wonderful. The creme Brule French toast was caramelized perfectly and needed nothing on it. The berry bubbly drink is very good, and was super refreshing. All in all will be back!

Yelp
I've frequented Bisou quite often over the last year, mostly during happy or the late evening. The atmosphere itself is great. Usually is a nice crowd to mix and mingle with. A cute spot to get dressed up and meet up with the girls. My main issue has always been the bartenders. They can be quite pretentious and forget they are actually working a customer service position. I've previously just ignored the snobby attitudes and went about my night. Last night was the final straw. I had already ordered a Bisou 75 and decided to get another. When I was attempting to get the bartenders attention the attitude she displayed should've been a red flag for me to find another. The drink she brought out was significantly lighter in color than the previous one I had. After clarifying with her what the drink was I found out she made a French 75 instead of the Bisou I requested. When I let her know I was literally appalled how she handled the situation. At first she argues back and forth with me over what I ordered. The music is really loud and there's a bit of a distance, her response should've been along the lines of an apology but nevertheless; she grabbed the drink aggressively threw it in the sink and walked away. Made a big scene to her coworkers, all of which I could see and had someone else make my drink correctly. Bartender was the only blonde woman working the bar that night, should be easy for management to figure out who it is, if they care to. Another thing to note is the doorman picks and chooses who and what he will accept for entrance. A few weeks ago my cousin and I attempted to visit one evening, he was wearing shorts so we were turned away at the door. Last night to my surprise there was a man in there wearing shots. I guess if your friends with him it's cool to not follow the "dress code"???

Yelp
Such a disappointment on this restaurant. I was exciting to make the reservation and gave it a try. If the food wasn't bad I would give it a zero star. What I don't like it's the dishonesties about the restaurant. We were there during their special anniversary time. When we ordered the oysters on their happy hour menu which clearly stated $1 per oyster. The server asked which oyster we want from the gulf or another place that I didn't remember the name. I was a bit surprised since on the menu it only stated oysters with no other description. Then few minutes later the server came out and told us, oh the oyster is $2 today. WTH???? I didn't like the answer since the restaurant clearly stated $1 and now they double the price but I still agreed on order . Then we asked for the appertizers that also clearly stated on the restaurant instagram that the appertizers are 1/2 off. The server told us " oh the 1/2 off price was only after 8pm" WTH? No where on their Instagram labeled the hours. That showed me the restaurant doesn't follow their menu nor their advertising. Clearly misleading customers to come to the restaurant. To top it all we had a party of 3, and when we received the check a 20% tips was already included on the bill. I never been to any restaurant that charged the tips of a party of less then 6 people. The whole experience was horrible. Needless to say I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone because of their dishonesty. The management should review their policy if you want comeback customers. Good luck

Yelp
Valet is $9. I had a great experience here for brunch. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. The staff was friendly enough although they gave my friend grief about the two reservations that she made on open table. If you have reservations which are highly recommended, half of your party needs to be present to be seated. I've visited before during club hours, so this review will speak to the Weekend Brunch. The menu is limited. I decided to get the Queen Bisou which is always tasty and the brisket hash. I got my brisket hash with fried eggs instead of poached eggs and it was really good. Seasoned to perfection. I just wish that they had a few more options as far as food. On Sunday there is a saxophonist and a DJ so the music is LOUD and you will be literally screaming to be heard. That was the only drawback for me. You can't even really enjoy a conversation at your table so this may not be the best place for a date as talking will be limited unless you want to scream. I think the next time I come I'll request the patio. It's much quieter and you can people watch.

Yelp
The service was terrible. There was only one menu per table place was almost completely empty on a Friday night, and he was extremely loud. We could not even have a conversation loan order our meal. It was so loud. This place won't stay in business for six months.obviously not managed very well at all

Yelp
Went here recently for my birthday dinner. The food is okay, I had the cajun pasta and really enjoyed that. The vibes are great but the music is very loud and ai could not hear the person right next to me. The service was great, the employees were very nice. I really want to try coming for brunch here one day!
