"Eating at Baby Bistro, a mysterious French-ish pop-up inside a Ktown barber shop, is worth all the hell that comes with securing a nearly impossible reservation via Instagram DM. Because, once you get inside, you’ll be treated to a truly unique dining experience. Exposed brick walls, six or so antique tables, and checkerboard flooring make the whole place feel like an inner-circle apartment party. The frequently changing menu consists of six a la carte dishes best described as simple European bistro food with unexpected twists. We ate pickled trout on a bed of melon, decadent bread topped with thick anchovies and a slightly sweet tomato spread, and perfectly fried sweetbread accompanied with green olives—all of which went down easy with Baby Bistro’s wine. Now for the catch: The whole operation wraps up on September 2nd. This place was an ok experience. You order and pay at the cashier. They do cook everything fresh at that moment. Once your order is ready, they call your order number. You add condiments at the counter and then go sit. We loved the bacon, it was very crispy. The rest of the food as I said it's fresh and ok. The pancakes are on the smaller side. Once you're done, you throw your trash and leave plates in a designated area. There's no actual personal service.

Absolutely amazing hidden gem, and I mean it when I say hidden. It is on the second floor and it might take you some time to figure out where it is located. Not a lot of people know about Bistro. But once you find it, I guarantee you will become a regular. Food is always fresh and VERY delicious, there is a huge variety to choose from, service is great, there is a nice patio with plants, and most importantly prices are lower than the competition, which makes this place an excellent choice for breakfast or lunch. I tried multiple items on the menu and they are all great! My go to are sushi bento box and chicken avocado wrap.

Rad little hidden gem! Went here after church and couldn't have been more satisfied. Super traditional breakfast with a Korean twist. Would definitely come back. Definitely need to be patient as it was just the husband and wife taking orders and cooking the food. They have a good system, it just takes time.

The lady who runs this restaurant has kept it open for 36 years!! That’s longer than I’ve been alive! That is mad testament to her commitment and zeal. And you can absolutely taste it. Her breakfast fried rice has been perfected over the ages. It has just the right textures, seasoning, ingredients—EVERYTHING. And my goodness, the portion. Far too generous. Do this place a solid and try out their food!! They have so many options on the menu, I gotta come back for the rest. Entrance is on Mariposa, not Wilshire. I’ve included a pic to show where it’s at.

We pay in advance while ordering food directly here. I didn't receive food or service because I paid in advance. When paying with the card, the owner asks what to do with the tip... I was dumbfounded and had nothing to say. Also, after paid, I asked for a parking confirmation, and she asked if 30 minutes was enough, so I said I had to give her an hour. The food came out in 25 minutes. I finished my food and left my tip in cash on the table.

Super hidden spot. Food was delicious. When we went it was slow and seemed like a front for something lol. They brought out the order and they heard a wrong number when we ordered. They replaced the items and refunded the difference. Would definitely go back because how good the food was

One of my regular spots for lunch breaks that never disappoints. Restaurant has been there for 40 years, and owners are just wonderful. Food: Menu is diverse, and there are so many options for lunch and breakfast. You want a bento box, you got it. Great tasting chicken wrap with spinach tortilla, they got you. Service: Friendly service each visit and hard not to have some laughs. They definitely love to be there. Atmosphere: I can not stress enough how beautiful and relaxing the atmosphere is here. Feels like grandma's house with all the plants both inside and outside. If you want to stare at lots of green while eating, this is your spot. Overall, never too crowded because it's a little hidden. Which is perfect for Ktown.

What a terrific hidden gem!!! Bistro on the boulevard probably serves the local community a whole lot more than it did tourists like me, but the food was delicious, the staff was very kind and accommodating, and I absolutely loved the environment as they were plants EVERYWHERE!!! They had a beautiful outdoor seating area and a wide selection of delectable food. I would absolutely recommend this place to any local or traveler.
