Bistro Verde

I wanted to love this place but I didn't. The food is delicious BUT always a few issues. The bread on the eggs Benedict was Challah bread that was dry and too thick. The lobster bisque was too rich. Pure cream pretty much. The roast beef was overcooked for me. I like it on the rare side. The service both times was not good. I was left with no water for ten minutes and got a refill only after having to flag down a waiter. The restaurant was packed and super noisy!

If you are looking for amazing food, tasty cocktails, and great service, Bistro Verde is it! We were greeted with smiles and felt very welcomed. The manager, Eric, even stopped by our table with a great big smile.

We stopped here after shopping one afternoon. The servers were all very attentive and friendly. We just wanted a little nosh, so We ordered the “starters” The appetizer portions were small as was to be expected. The chicken tacos w served with lime and were really tasty. The tomato basil soup was served with a slice of crispy garlic bread that was the absolute bomb when dipped in the soup! Yum. Get an actual meal if you’re hungry. Although pricey it’s pretty good grub.

I had lunch at Bistro Verde yesterday afternoon on July 4th. The weather was perfect and I noticed they had opened an outdoor terrace. I asked to be seated outside. It was quite enjoyable, I must say. The waiter was pleasant and prompt, and went over the menu with me in depth. I will say that they could invest in outdoor umbrellas and more foliage to make it a bit more cozy. I settled on the Rigatoni & Chicken Sausage, which was perfectly seasoned and not overly spicy. The garlic bread that came with it was delicious as well. I always enjoy coming to Nordstrom do dine at their restaurants because the food is always delicious and the staff is always so pleasant. I remember conversing with the manager of the restaurant one time, and I complimented him on the staff. He then told me that his main focus was to hire ”great people”. That always stuck with me because they have been trained well and are an asset to Bistro Verde.

Lunch was quite good, portions were fair and the quality was good. Nice setting for lunch. Relaxed atmosphere. Service was ok. Shrimp salad was very good!

As several other reviews noted, there is an extremely rude hostess or manager here that ruins this place for everyone. It’s unfortunate because the servers are generally lovely. My waiter on 6/30/23 was Christopher, and he was great, as were other servers I’ve had in the past. At every Nordstrom cafe, I usually order the Cilantro Lime salad with shrimp. This was the worst and most expensive version I’ve had at any location. While the shrimp were okay (except for what I think was an eyelash on one), it was barely dressed, and the ingredients were sparse. Except for the crunchy tortilla bits, which were plentiful. These were so hard and stale that they actually hurt my teeth to bite through. It was a pain to try and eat around them. Gross, and not great for a $22 salad. Another employee, not dressed as a server so maybe a hostess or manager, brought my food out and somehow managed make that uncomfortable. I actually didn’t even know there was a rude way to do this until now. She approached stone-faced and silent, made weird unfriendly eye contact, and put my plate down without saying a word. Then turned around to walk away with no other acknowledgment. It was bizarrely hostile. I’m trying to eat at a department store cafe, not a prison cafeteria, so I won’t return.

Perfectly located restaurant within Nordstrom, on 5th floor. Lovely food in very comfortable space with friendly service. There is outdoor seating available with iconic NYC roof ambiance facing well kept Manhattan buildings. At the time of this review there is a special Aperol Spritz set up and the environment is beautifully orange, with plenty of orange decor and such. Just brilliant and enjoyable and the food is delicious with generous portions. Thank you Nordstrom.

Thankfully the restaurant was quiet. I was ravenous! Being from upstate New York, and used to inexpensive restaurants, I wanted this to be a treat, and it was! The Bolognese was delicious, a little too spicy, and the meatballs were heavenly! Very light, tasty. Service was good, waitress was friendly, prompt, and hostess was wonderful as well. Definitely recommend!

Superb service and delicious food. Had no idea what I was walking into for a Wednesday dinner but it turned out to be perfect.

An unsuspected surprise when a gem of a restaurant is nestled in a department store. Our waitress wasn't the most helpful or friendliest, but we may have caught her in a bad night. We headed here after my daughter finished running the NYC Marathon and it was the perfect selection for all of us being hungry after a long day. The burger had to be cut in half to eat it and although I ate to much, there were zero regrets. It was the burger (3 of 8 8 of us ordered and finished it) you seriously get a handful of times in a lifetime- serious golf clap to the chef! My daughter and three others went with the French Dip that was toasted and seasoned to perfection. And the fries matched both sandwiches perfectly. I'm not in the city often, but this is worth a second visit.

During my shopping trip I got hungry and decided to eat inside Nordstrom. I wanted to continue shopping afterwards so it was super convenient. I was seated fairly quickly and the waiter was attentive. I ordered the calamari and a burger. The burger and fries were ok. The flavor of the aioli sauce was different. The calamari was a bit disappointing, it seemed like it was old. If it were fresh I probably would've enjoyed it.

I hate giving 3 stars, but there were 3 too many things wrong. Pros *Artichoke and Spinach dip: savory and flavorful. By far the highlight of the meal. Drizzle some olive oil over the break for a little more richness. *The blueberry almond with ice cream was slamming. Fantastic like a nice light crunch while maintaining moistness. *Nelson, our waiter, was FANTASTIC!!! We love him! Cons *The fry on the halibut was great, but the chips were just ok. What was truly disappointing on the plate were the pickles. They didn't know if they wanted to be sweet or sour. Essentially they were some soggy cucumber slices. *Seared Steak and Bleu Cheese It sounded so good on the menu, but this really misses the mark. Everything needed a smaller dice to match the size of the barley, especially the pears. The kale was too tough and could have benefitted from a smaller slice. The barley should have been cooked till softer. And when you say steak and blue cheese, your expect something richer, which is because could have been achieved with more bleu cheese. I would come back again for a quick bite/coffee while shopping but if you are looking for an exceptional dining experience, in my opinion, this ain't it.

Bistro Verde - I'm impressed by your staff's attention to detail, and welcoming energy. The quick bites are delicious. I'm always drawn to the grilled shrimps over Romaine lettuce. It's a hit every time. Last but not least. A big-up to DRAG BINGO, always a blast. I enjoy the energy, so I keep coming back. If you're in the area on Thursdays, stop by for a game. Thank me later!!!

I really liked the food here and everyone was super friendly. I wish I had tried this place sooner because I shop at Nordstrom often enough. The burrata was SO good, I just wish it had more bread. What was especially good about it was the quality of the tomatoes. They were so sweet, fresh, and light. I was also pleasantly surprised by the pesto on the bottom. The only thing I wish about this appetizer is for more crouton pieces, since there were only like four or so tiny pieces of bread to put the burrata onto. The French dip was also really good! This is the first one I've ever had in my life though so I have nothing else to compare it to, so I only have a picture to offer. I really liked it but my boyfriend said he has had better (I mean he still said it was quite good). The simple salad was clean. At first they gave me it with dressing even though I had requested it on the side, but they fixed it quickly!

The review that I'm about to write is my least favorite type of review to write. Where do I even start... I will start with the fact that I don't think this place is called bistro Verde anymore. That should've been sign number one. Nordstrom bistro historically, has always been very consistent and one of our go tos, but I don't know if we can continue coming back until they start to change things... like bringing back the old chef and staffing adequately so that the bartender doesn't have to be pseudo waitresses outside of their (bar) domain. I'm sad that this is another place I will have to strike off my list, but alas life goes on.

This was our first time back since before COVID and the overall experience was very solid. The seating is spacious and comfortable with the booths and tables already nicely distanced. Our server was friendly and helpful, as well, making sure to check in from time-to-time. They also now offer sparkling or still water (complimentary) which was a nice plus. The brunch menu did have a few changes, primarily the addition of a Monkey Bread and crepes, and the removal of the Brioche French Toast and pasta options. 1. I will note that the biscuits and gravy now come with a side of eggs which made me very happy - the price is still less than $17 but now you get 3 eggs (cooked to-order) and the biscuits how have a chive-based seasoning, which I actually prefer. This would still be my go-to order here. The sausage is pretty well-done and just a TAD dry but the gravy is still sublime (yes there is sausage in it as well!). 2. We also tried the French Dip, which was very solid and came with a side of perfectly crispy fries. The portion is very generous so it will easily feed 2 if you get an app or another side. 3. The monkey bread was okay - basically a large cinnamon roll comprised of pull-apart rolls and a icing glaze. We saved ours for "dessert"! Really glad to see this restaurant get back on its feet and we will be back. It has become a go-to for my friend and I when we have our get-togethers!

Bistro Verde is always a delight, particularly for Drag Bingo. Excellent cocktails, delicious food, impeccable service every time.

Everything was wonderful from the lovely hostess that greeted us to our waiter (shout out to Clay!). Food was very good. We loved the lobster bisque, fried calamari, flat iron steak with wedge potatoes and the kids really enjoyed their kids meal. The desert was so pretty and delicious!

Bistro Verde was a pleasant surprise that my girlfriends and I stumbled upon while shopping at Nordstrom NYC! The space is light and airy and the staff was kind and attentive, especially our waiter Christian. The cocktails were perfection and the food was delicious! I enjoyed the Lobster Bisque and we also shared the crispy calamari which was tender and delicious! Highly recommend the wild Salmon Nicoise !! We will definitely be paying this restaurant another visit very soon !!!

Do NOT get the Halibut & Chips. The halibut is tough, tasteless, and frying it made it worse. Only saving grace of this dish was the fries, but definitely not worth the $25. I got the Simple Salad to offset the halibut, and it was a nice salad for $8. Our female server was awesome. Giving 4 stars because they do Drag Bingo with a DJ every Thursday night at 6:30 pm, and it was a lot of fun even though I didn't win anything!

Went here for a lunch with a friend I'd not seen in a while. We chatted away. Our waitstaff gave us just the right amount of attention. The 5th floor restaurant was open airy and calm - unlike what you come from on the street. The menu selection is standard for lunch, nothing said, "this is unique; try me." The French dip with side Caesar was very good. The crispy chicken was tasty and the fries excellent ! I will definitely return! Choosing this restaurant will not disappoint.

If you are shopping at the department store or are in the area, then you have to stop here. The food is AMAZING. The hosts were rude, but the rest of the wait staff was very kind, quick, and accommodating. The music was extremely loud and headache provoking. Cocktails were on point. We each got a lemon and berry crepe from the seasonal brunch menu. It was nice and light and was a great mid day snack. We shared an order of little pixie fries with aioli and ketchup. They were cooked perfectly, nice and crispy. Bathrooms were extremely clean!

This restaurant is wonderful. Food and service are excellent. Ambiance and Drinks are good too!

Every part of my experience at Bistro Verde was fantastic. The food was very good, but what stood out was the wonderful and friendly service from beginning to end. It made dining here that much more enjoyable. I would recommend this restaurant to anymore, and I will definitely be going back...a lot!

Horrible Customer Service! On October 12th, I dined with 30 women at Bistro Verde. It marked the second time that we have dined at this restaurant. It is listed as a monthly event. For the most part, all of us enjoyed the entertainment and food. Unfortunately, one server, Christian/Christopher was extremely rude, belligerent and unprofessional. He disappeared after dinner, and did not return to service the table in order to close out our bills. Instead, we had to track him down. After making numerous requests to close out my bill, I asked for the manager. However, I was told that one was not on the premises and no one was in charge. Instead of seeking the help of another server (as I also requested), the server became aggressive, confrontational and made the most outlandish and ludicrous statements. As a woman of color, I found his remarks to be very offensive and disgusting. I had to seek the assistance of a store manager - outside of the restaurant - for assistance. My bill was eventually forgiven, however, the server's behavior should not be tolerated. This matter will be escalated. Lastly, my group consistently spends a substantial amount of money at this restaurant. However, we would like to spend our money at restaurants that respect their patrons and are interested in providing the best in quality customer service. I have no interest in dining at Bistro Verde in the future. Additionally, I am now questioning whether I want to remain a customer of Nordstrom.

Was famished after a little shopping inside the new Nordstrom. Decided upon grabbing grub here and it was a great choice. Upon being seated we scanned the dinner menu since brunch was almost over and decided to try soups as starters and few appetizers to share. The lobster bisque was a small cup portion but delicious and with good chunks of lobster meat. The fried calamari was definitely my favorite appetizer with an asian inspired twist and a little heat to get you warmed up. The burrata was really tasty with apples and nuts, yum! The halibut fish tacos were a great choice, tasty and good portion of fish to the tacos, and definitely enough for sharing especially after soups and apps. This is a great spot to grab a bite after checking out this space. Look forward to visiting during the warmer months for the outdoor views.

Bistro Verde Mother Daughter Brunch November 10, 2019 I'm writing this review because I'm still so full from all the food they give you at brunch. I don't think I'll ever feel hungry again. I may not sleep comfortable tonight either. My daughter and I arrived at Nordstrom when they opened at 11am. We didn't need a reservation at Bistro Verde. We were seated immediately. In a few minutes Bruno our server arrived. It was just enough time to decide what we wanted. The brunch comes with complimentary fruit and an Açaí Grape Smoothy Shooter. The shooter was delicious. My daughter ordered coffee. She had a choice of Oat Milk or 4% Milk. She prefers half and half. She said the coffee was very good regardless. I had water. In no time our food arrived. It was a huge plate with huge biscuits. The biscuit was my favorite part. We both agreed the potatoes were disappointing. They weren't crispy as described. My daughter had the Warm Biscuit & Chicken Sausage Gravy. She was surprised there was a piece of chicken sausage included also. I had the 2 Egg Breakfast with Bacon. At first mine came out with sausage. Bruno quickly corrected the error with the kitchen. As we were finishing up Taiquin began clearing the table. Bruno arrived with complimentary chocolates for two. My daughter paid the check and we were off to use the restroom which is in close proximity. The environment is new and modern. Just the right touch of fancy. Employees are very professional and friendly. It was a good experience. The prices are reasonable. My daughter said she would return but get something else. I think I would like to try their regular menu. Only time will tell. I recommend Bistro Verde if your a brunch lover. You won't go away hungry.

I've grown up going to Nordstrom cafes in CA with my parents. I'm so happy that Nordstrom opened in NYC and that Bistro Verde serves the same quality that I've come to expect. I work nearby, so I've gotten quite a few to go orders for lunch. There are some staples that I really love -- of course, the tomato basil soup is a classic. It comes with this delicious garlic crostini that is a perfect addition. Months ago, one of their associates, Enrique, suggested that I go for the kids' menu item which includes tomato basil soup paired with a grilled cheese. Umm, YAS please! I also like their kids' menu chicken tenders. All kids meals come with a fruit cup and a drink. Aside from the kids' menu, I haven't tried much, but I have tried and loved their chicken tacos. They've always packaged my food very well, and I've had no issues. I've gotten quite a few coworkers hooked on this as well, so "Nordstrom lunch" for us has become a wonderful treat. They've also given me great service with occasional extras. One time, they forgot to include the soups from my order. Honest mistake, but what's so amazing is that someone actually brought it over because I couldn't leave work to go back for them. This is why I'll always stay loyal to Nordstrom, food or otherwise -- the unbeatable customer service. They're also apparently on DoorDash/Caviar, which is a total game changer for me. The kids' menu items aren't available on there yet. Last time I went, someone told me that they're actively working on getting that onto the delivery platform. How exciting!

The kids' meals are impressive and gorgeous - of course kids don't fully appreciate it but they still devour it, which is a good sign. Chicken tenders with sautéed green beans and roasted potatoes was better than many grown-up fried chicken platters elsewhere, and the grilled cheese was perfectly crusty and gooey. The cilantro lime salad I had was complex and balanced, interesting yet hearty. Great cocktails too!

We choose from the restaurant week menu! It was amazing!! Super delicious!! Our server Janelle she's such a sweetheart. excellent customer service we wanna thank you so much for your beautiful smile and excellent service! I've been to this restaurant many times before.. always I had a great experience..definitely coming back again and the manger was super cool thank You...

We were very excited to try the Bistro after showing up to dinner at the Wolfe to find out it was closed....The manager Eric immediately took great care of us, and our server Carley was more than amazing. The food suggestions were delicious and we enjoyed all our appetizers and meals, including the yummy non- alcoholic drinks. We were pleasantly surprised and really can't say enough about the staff because they made us feel special and took great care of us!!! Thank you so much!

Bistro Verde is a restaurant in the newly opened Nordstrom on West 58th Street. Located on the fifth floor, this is an exciting place to eat. Laura and I had come here for lunch on Tuesday of this week. The menu has several options like pastas, salads, pizzas, to suit all tastes. We both began our meal with the celebrated lobster soup. This was ambrosia in a cup and accompanied by a piece of crispy baguette grilled with cheese. As her main course, Laura chose the crispy halibut tacos. Three ale battered tacos arrived with pickled vegetables, avocado, radishes and a miso slaw. Laura managed to eat only two tacos. For my main course, I had the skirt steak served with crispy Parmesan potatoes, a watercress salad and salsa Verde. Aah! These potatoes were bursting with flavor and each bite was making me happy. On the other hand the watercress salad needed extra seasoning. We both wanted desserts. Laura had the white chocolate raspberry rice pudding and I had the apple crostata. I have been dreaming about the crostata as the apples mingled with the ice cream was simply heavenly. A week prior to our lunch here we had eaten a rather mediocre meal at Hani Pacific on the lower ground floor. As we traversed the floors, every sales person told us to go to Bistro Verde. So we went up there and decided to have the caramel cheesecakes for our dessert. Laura mentioned our sad experience to Adam, the lead server who brought us a cup of lobster soup. The high quality of this soup made us make a lunch reservation immediately for the following week. From Adam to Ciana and Britney, the two charming hostesses and Lenny, the restaurant manager, everyone made us feel welcomed and took great care of us. John, our server at the lunch was personable and had a sense of humor. Bistro Verde is a restaurant that delivers excellent cuisine and is highly recommended. Please note that I have written a similar review on Trip Advisor under "Sabena Singh" should anyone wish to read it.

I am as surprised as you to find a restaurant in Nordstrom but here we are on the fifth floor overseeing some fine clothing in dim lighting. Overall feel of new Nordstrom is that it feels sparse and lacking some bougie lighting, but that's for another post. Bistro Verde is unsuspecting restaurant with great Happy Hour deal with lovely service. For Happy Hour you get $6 beer, $8 wine, $10 classic cocktails and $12 signature cocktails from 3pm to 7pm M-F. Yes, starting from three in the afternoon you may indulge yourself in some delicious cocktails between your breaks or breakdowns. I'm looking at all of you from Hearst. Happy hour drinks: - Negroni (gin) and Negroni (mezcal): get the gin if you are looking for that classic taste. 4/5 - BTC: that spicy salt on the rim is truly spicy but also possibly the most creative thing that they've executed at this restaurant. 5/5 - Lunai: straight up passion fruit juice. This is for my friends who don't like the taste of alcohol but still want to get the withdrawal of being tipsy. 5/5 - Greenwich Village: basically just prosecco. 5/5 - Husband Daycare: Goooood drink. This is an adult drink with full alcohol body. 5/5 - Orange Blossom: one thing I do not recommend. Egg whites were still stuck together and clumpy. It's not the creamy texture that you expect from traditionally fluffed up egg whites on top of drinks. It's gross and sticky. Als it has some sort of medicinal taste instead of orange. 0/5 Some side foods: - Fried Calamari ($11.25): is heavenly. We ordered two plates of it. The portion is on the smaller side, but the taste is superb. Can we give some applause for perfect seasoning !! 10/5 - Fried brussel sprouts ($8.25) : surprisingly good snack food. It has glazed almond topping so it ends up being sweet and savory. 5/5 - Sopressata Pizza ($13.75): is just ham pizza. Nothing special. 3/5 - Wild Shrimp & Saffron Chitarra pasta ($22.50): Good. The pasta itself was slightly overcooked. There's a lot happening on the plate and I personally think the peas should be excluded because it makes all the effort from saffron butter not worth it. 4/5 - Seared Steak and Blue cheese salad ($18): salty crusted steak but delicious salad for sure. 5/5 Everyone is so sweet and the service is excellent. Food comes out slightly later than I expected but that was no problem because we had our drinks. The circular tables are awkward to eat from since they're more like coffee tables. I definitely worth it to swing by for the happy hour and fried calamari !!

Ended up eating here because it was chilly out and why leave the store? The gave a cute small complimentary dish of fruit and a smoothie shooter because it was brunch hours. I ordered the bistro burger (great), which came with lots of shoe string fries. My friend got the lobster benedict which was like a lobster salad on top of a Texas toast. Way larger portion than expected! Friendly service. Felt super clean. We saw the staff bring out a ton of cleaning supplies to wipe down each table very thoroughly as each party left. The place was fairly empty for a Sunday so the seating was nicely distanced.

We came last night for bingo and dinner... It was such a blast. The host at the restaurant made sure our group had space to sit and the drag queen made sure we were taken care of as well. The food was very good and I highly recommend the crab roll... It is a cool twist on a lobster roll using jumbo lump crab meat... New York City is so bad at seafood but they got this right! The space itself is really cool and it seems so chic and fun to be in a high-end fashion store while you are enjoying bites and playing bingo. The restaurant seems like it would be fun no matter what bingo or not. Thanks so much to the restaurant for making us feel special on our birthdays!

I had lunch here during the summer and I was blown away by the service and the quality of the food. The price point is great and the place is kept clean all the time. I ordered the pasta that had shrimp and it was delicious. I ordered a shot of espresso at the end of my meal, and because they took a bit long, they gave it to me at the house which I was not expecting! I did not mind waiting for a few minutes but little things like this goes a long way. The staff did a good job in maintaining a great distance between guests, checking the vax cards, and keeping tables and utensils clean. They even provide you a little napkin so you can place your mask cleanly on the table! Love this place for lunch!

The music was so loud around 2 p.m. that between ordering my $24 Wild Salmon Salad and its arrival I asked them to put it in a box so I could take it home. It's not a knock on the chef to say that it didn't amount to much 30 minutes later when I got it home. That is not how it is meant to be consumed. This is disappointing. Sound cannot be turned down, according to my waiter. It is piped all over the store. I certainly can never try to eat there again. My only other experience there was at 5 pm months ago and I thought the place was terrific.

My boyfriend and I were really looking forward to a really nice dinner after tirelessly walking around Nordstrom. Unfortunately our experience was unexpectedly ruined by the manager, Lenny. We were sitting in the middle of the restaurant where you get a good view of the entire place. All the servers and receptionists seemed nervous while working because their manager had an eagles eye on them the entire time. He made it so uncomfortable for customers because as his staff was preparing the tables he would yell "hurry up, what's taking so long?!" while clapping in their faces. I even witnessed him grabbing one of the servers by the arm. I'm surprised they didn't just walk out and quit because I wouldn't take that disrespect. This behavior isn't something that customers should see. If you have to discipline your employees do so during the right time, not when guests are trying to enjoy their food in a nice environment. I'm surprised this cafe has kept him manager when I've read other reviews of people complaining of the same thing. I gave this place a 3 stars because our server was very helpful and the food was decent. Never coming back and I hope the staff gets better treatment.

I chose to splurge and enjoy a rib eyed steak, I am impress. The service is up to par. I enjoyed my steak dinner quietly and peacefully. The waitress was available to refill my water and ask if all was ok, and then allowed me to enjoy my dinner comfortably. The flavors of the accompanying mushroom and the sauces are delicious, the steak is cooked to perfection and the waiter is kind and diligent in his performance to make sure I was content and satisfied with the service and meal.

Excellent service! We had Bruno as our waiter and he was very attentive, considerate and informative. Not to mention our food was fabulous. Was so impressed with this place! Will definitely be back very soon and recommend to anyone

I have to tell you I was quite disappointed nice atmosphere Service was prompt courteous but the kitchen still needs training Whoever heard of grilling salad I had to send my Caesar salad back it was horrible calamari way overcooked to chewy. This place has the opportunity to do really well but the kitchen has to get it self in order. I will say I had the turkey roasted sandwich with bacon avocado fantastic it was really delicious

An oasis in Nordstrom. Excellent food and service. Already my go-to place in the neighborhood. Plus shopping onsite. How amazing is that!

My friend brought us here for brunch when we were visiting from SF. Adam, our server, bartender extraordinaire did not disappoint. The food was delicious and he mixed our cocktails with perfection. Loved the food. Loved the service. Given the holidays, Santa even came to say hello!

When we were turned away from a restaurant in time Warner that was empty but reportedly fully booked we came over here- what a great occurrence! Sooooo much better for brunch than the other Columbus circle places. Highly recommend the frittata- and the service was truly excellent. Can't wait to come back! Other patrons meals (salads for lunch) looked scrumptious. This is a gem of a place.

What an outstanding level of attention and service we received last evening at Bistro Verde and Wolf. 24 hours later we are still in awe. Thank you for a dining experience we will never forget. We had booked a dinner at Wolf with friends from out of out town, one of whom is wheelchair bound. Due to an unforeseen mechanical issue with Wolf's wheelchair lift, it did not work when our reservation time arrived. Not missing a beat, the Wolf management team immediately swung into action and arranged for a table of 5 at Bistro Verde for us. Knowing we might be disappointed at not being able to dine at Wolf and to try to make up for the unfortunate situation. They not only offered to bring any item from the Wolf menu up to Bistro Verde but picked up the bill for our dinner! The meal was delicious. The care we received from our server Stanson, Steven the manger at Wolf and the manger at Bistro Verde was beyond reproach. Nordstrom's reputation of best in class service was on full display last evening. If you are looking for great food, warm and friendly service look no further than Bistro Verde and Wolf.

I went in yesterday for the grand opening and left extremely satisfied. This restaurant was amazing and so was the service. My wife and I weren't sure what to order so we asked the waiter Enrique what to get. I was looking for meat and and my wife seafood. The hardest part was finding what wine to pair with both of our dishes. He recommended something light but fruity, it paired perfectly and the meal was delicious. The ambiance was nice, simple decor and spacious. 100% recommend going and ask for Enrique as your server if you want a laugh as well!

Went again... To my surprise there was the same manager - sitting at the bar, papers and computer taking up spaces for customers with the same nasty look on his face We figured since we were in the area for a show why not try Bistro Verde again As we walked to the crowded bar-we went to the one seat available Did he offer to move his belongings? No Did we get a hello or anything? No We received a glare like 'what the hell are you doing in my space'? We've witnessed this particular managers behavior time and time again-the way he treats his staff to the nasty glares he gives to us as customers Needless to say we left Never again will we attempt to dine here Now, we have no ulterior motives here, nor do we know this individual In any customer driven employment one must be kind and courteous This individual has never been Ever We dined at Jeannies where we were treated fabulously by all The food was amazing The staff attentive and kind I only wish that this concept was where Bistro Verde is and that Bistro Verde was moved to the lower level Also Jeannies should have a bar area - that would be amazing Jeannie had good management that helped and did not belittle their staff in customer view They were greeting customers, running food and cleaning where needed I am appalled after all the reviews commenting on this individual that Nordstrom has yet to rectify the issue Him!

Food is great service is not. Staff appears overwhelmed and the management looking guy in the suit seems to be in outer space. Perhaps he could help the staff instead of shuffling papers.

I stopped eating at this restaurant due to prior poor customer service. Well must I say that the experience I received today with Allan & the amazing tacos changed my perception of this restaurant 100000%. The last time I was here the food was lackluster & took 40 mins for me to even get greeted. Today Allan was efficient, warm, inviting & informative. He was so knowledgeable about the menu, it was as if he was aware of my tastebuds with his suggestions. I even tried to go against his recommendation & quickly regretted it! (I should've gotten double tacos instead of the salad). I don't know if Bistro has undergone a rebrand but I'm certainly impressed. The entire staff & management should take notes of Allan's service because he truly exemplifies of what Nordstrom's excellence is! Thank you Allan!!!

Had a great experience at this Nordstrom restaurant while taking a break from our shopping. The burrata appetizer was recommended to us as one of the most popular items and we can see why! It was absolutely delicious and the perfect amount to share between three of us. I had the grilled octopus special which was unbelievably good. I could have licked the plate. We also requested some Parmesan fries our local Nordstrom Café makes and our server was not only willing to accommodate us but completely nailed the execution of the fries based on our description. I wish I had the name of our server, he made the overall experience even better. Would definitely stop back in next time we're in town.

There was a bug in my salad tuesday so gross . I stooped for quick salad before work ate there week before food was great.

A wonderful find on the fifth floor of the new Nordstrom's on W. 57th St. Gracious and friendly hosts to greet you (Kaydene and Shona were great). We were there for brunch (a meal I usually avoid) but the menu was diverse and delicious (our great waiter Ron recommended the creme brûlée French Toast and the lobster Benedict and both were superb--way better than brunch food has any right to be). Eager to come back for dinner and to try their patio in the spring. A real discovery.

Enrique our amazing waiter made the experience fantabulous! The food was fab but NYC has 2 great restaurants on every corner. It was Enrique that elevated our meal. :))))

This place is doing such a great job during this pandemic. The staff is delightful and excited to be there. Such a breath of fresh air considering everything that's going in. You are still only able to get food to go but the meal kit is and excellent choice. You get an appetizer, a choice of soup and pasta and a dessert for $56. You can also add wine if you want. We ordered and took it to Central Park and had a great date night. Great experience!
