This is my first lunch visit to Chef Kim Dae-cheon's new project BIUM restaurant.
There are many Michelin restaurants that advertise themselves as Korean food while cooking ambiguous menus that are neither Korean nor Western.
BIUM is real Korean food and food eaten by monks.
Since ancient times, Korean monks have not eaten food with five pungent herbs (garlic, green onion, leek, chive, wild chive).
They invested a lot and changed the building's layout, and the interior was calm and had a pine-like scent.
It was my first time eating a meal without meat or fish,
but it was more satisfying than any other meal.
160,000 won for lunch may seem a bit expensive,
but if you want to try real Korean food that is not too spicy,
I strongly recommend you try it.
Lastly, the staff is very professional, polite, and good at their job.
