Black Bear Burger

(As of Feb 2025) • The Brisket Burger and Hand Cut, Skin On Fries were delicious, definitely recommend these. • The Buffalo & Blue Cheese Wings (5 pc) were very fresh, crispy and tasty. • The Cokes we ordered came with chilled glasses, which was much appreciated. • The complementary, mini vanilla ice cream cones had a texture which was 50/50 creamy and icy, great flavour; a pleasant way to end the experience. ◇ The Black Bear Burger was decent, but the Brisket Burger was better; it is slightly sweet, though palatable nonetheless. ◇ The coleslaw was mid; the mustard in it gave it a good kick, but I personally prefer creamier slaws. ▪︎ Price: Standard for London (£20-30 per person). ▪︎ Atmosphere: Shop is cramped/narrow, but the atmosphere was casual and lively. ▪︎ Service: really fast, the staff were very kind and helpful :)

Didn't want to do this review. We went on Valentine's night, the staff were friendly but we did feel abit rushed and cramped downstairs, the starters came out very quickly and was nice, and then soon as we finished our dinner arrived. I didn't finish my burger, after feeling quite sick. We decided to have our ice cream and leave. I got home and looked more at my burger. My burger patty was raw, I missed this with the salad brisket covering it.... I have emailed them, no reply in over a week. So now we have this review.

Quite squished for wheelchairs with only 4 seats that would work near by the entrance which was quite chilly and drafty in January! We enjoyed our burgers, particularly the miso one. Steakhouse fries were really good and I appreciated the little soft serve ice cream which was complimentary.

Been on the hunt for the “best burger in London” for a while now and we may have just found it? 😍 This burger was so delicious and fresh! Top tier service as well! Definitely recommend!

Best burger in London for me. It’s all about the double Black Bear - smoked bacon, garlic mayo, and onion jam. Combined with the amazing aged meat, and cheese, it’s so damn good. Don’t sleep on the starters either - the brisket spring rolls are fantastic.

Burgers were really tasty as expected but loved the sides the most - rarebit crumpet, brisket spring roll and maple sriracha wings were amazing! My spicy margarita was delicious too. Avoid sitting too close to the front door if you can - there were delivery drivers hassling staff for takeaway orders every 2 minutes on a busy Friday evening!

Great burgers, fries, brisket wantons, and soft serve that is complementary with your bill. Definitely recommend adding a second patty to balance the amount for bread. Highly recommend the black bear burger and the miso bacon burger.

Great burger place in one of the trendy local areas in London. All five of us chose between the Black Bear & the Brisket Burger. They came as expected, all juicy, piled with delectable meat & other toppings. Each was a hearty meal in its own right. Of course we couldn’t go without the chicken wings & fries. A really satisfying lunch for a hungry bunch.
