This place is great. Everything that a "Seattle coffee shop" should be is Black Coffee. All of their stuff is local, and there is an awesome diversity here. These folks aren't for profit, and actually care about people. You don't get fake corporate smiles here, you get the real thing. A great place to familiarize yourself with your neighbors, enjoy some new tunes over a cup of, yes you heard it FAIR TRADE tea. Best loose leaf in the area. Don't take my word for it, see for yourself.

I love black coffee coop. The coffee is amazing and it's a great community hang out spot. Check out the zine selection and vegan pastries while you're there

Excellent place to drop by and chill out. Plenty of seating, laid back baristas and free zines! The Wi-Fi isn't so fast, though, so no camping out with the laptop.

I really love the anarchist style. The cold brew was way too strong though.
