Black Mountain Golf Resort Hua Hin | World's best golf hotels and resorts

"This family-friendly, modern resort is nothing special per se; except that it sits alongside Asia’s best golf course. There are 3 courses here, in fact. It’s a simple affair, made up of a series of 2- and 3-bedroom villas, each with a private pool, surrounded by pristine golfing greens and lush, wooded hills. A little impersonal perhaps, but elegant and comfortable – off the large open-plan living room are the en suite bedrooms, a western-style kitchen and an outdoor terrace. The complimentary shuttle runs guests between their room, the main clubhouse and – yes – the resort’s own water park, which is a big hit with younger members of the family. Worn-out parents will appreciate the full-service spa and the restaurant, which makes a welcome break from relying on the villa’s fully equipped kitchens. " - Fionn Davenport

Ideal villas for families with younger and elders kids, spacious & clean rooms, small kitchen equiped with all necessary kitchenware. More than what we expected. Will definitely be back again. Our kids really enjoyed the stay. Water park is nearby, very convenient. Staff are extremely helpful. Quiet surrounding, ideal for vacation. Appreciate the efforts of staff to make our stay memorable. Highly recommended.

The resort itself is a wonderful getaway to relax. The golf course was in great shape and both challenging and forgiving at the same time. Restaurant food was very good and bartenderexceptional. The golf course service was lacking in several respects. Rated 4 because of this. Pro shop ok, starter was so busy , had no time to deal with us . Caddies had very little training. I played three rounds. Caddies on first two rounds were not experienced and one was on the phone most of the time. Third round caddie was much more experienced.

The villas are spectacularly located on the Black Mountain Golf Club premises so perfect for a golfing holiday. They are clean but basic and the pool is more like a bath, so not great for anything other than a dip. The Water Park and Wake Park are very close by and it’s only a half-hour drive to Hua Hin town. There is a free shuttle to take you to the Clubhouse and parks but you’d need a car to explore other places in the area. Very hospitable but not luxurious. Reasonably priced for the space. WiFi works well and there is a TV with lots of channels if you like that sort of thing on holiday. If you plan on self catering the mini-mart at the Clubhouse is very limited, but there is good food in the restaurant and other restaurants within a 5-10minute drive.

Worst place to stay. The place so far away and not clean. There is big Insect inside the swimming pool. The staff also not friendly, they said my family take one of the glass. How could we paid for almost 16.000TBH for 2 night stay but need to stole their glass? And the staff told us to pay for the towel cleaning because the baby food split on their towel for 500 TBH. ||For your resort information: cleaning service for the towel must be include on the fee. This the first place that the staff told me the rules to pay for the towel cleaning.

I don't like the separated small bedroom. This makes us feel unsafe to sleeping in that room. Good for private swimming pool. Not good for no dish drying area. Feel unsafe to drive to the Resort at night time because of very few side-road lightings

We recently went here on our half term holiday and being the eldest of six meaning I have 5 younger siblings who are aged 3 to 12 this was absolutely amazing. I honestly felt like paradise. They views are stunning and the waterpark itself was so good. Would definitely go there again!!

Stay and Play in World's 59th best Golf Course. A perfect restaurant with the wive of Green. Just apart of Heaven. Meanwhile well trained staff is letting you feel comfortable. Great Experience..

I have only given this Resort portion of the Black Mountain property a 3 star rating it is only because it is not really a Resort, but rental cottages close to the golf course. The Cottages are decent nicely kitted out with all the needs for a couple or a few golfers away on a golf holiday. You are a long way from the town of Hua HIn so prepare to spend all your time either on the course or in the restaurant at the course. They could use with some evening amenities at the course for people staying on site to use and enjoy. I could see a golf academy as an extension of the course for people to use for weekly or monthly golf school programs.
